And Vs and these sports betting Network Vs and dot com game plus I hard radio YouTube TV. And of course, Series XM channel 158. Kill Alexander. My little buddy Kelly Bidlin everybody. Hey, how are we doing? All good day to day. Major League Baseball. It's opening night at Oracle Park in San Francisco. We like to call it or as we like to pronounce it in San Francisco Pac-Bell Park. Tell me pronounced or a CLE giants host in the Yankees. Yankees is a slight favorite Max freed Logan Webb. Get to see if my Logan Webb most wins for the season. Bet gets off to a good start.

Get some run support for the guy for God's sakes. So baseball begins tonight. A standalone where there's only an IT games to really compete with as the March madness portion of things. Resumes tomorrow. Sweet 16. Of course, we look forward to that. Paul Sporer on Major League Baseball. He gets his final word on the season today. We'll hill with all of his bets. We'll talk a little country club in Miami open Houston open. Another two and O intent is yesterday another winning day. I got three plays today, which we'll get into momentarily. We have a tank of Paloza play coming up. Yes, back in the brain dead, Barley coming up. Then a little later on, we're going to talk NFL draft. There's some props on positions. We'll go through. I'll go through what a few mock drafts have on these positions. See if there's any betting value based on what the experts think right now. And then I love this for Major League Baseball back to baseball for a second. Because we talk about every day here. How many different ways there are to bet Major League Baseball. I have the bet on the Reds most wins March April.

How about last team to lose a game? Let's do that one today. Let's do it, man. Last team to lose again. Oh, and a little later on. Ladies, gentlemen, Todd wish to have 170 units strong. College hoops. Join us talk sweet 16 as well. You do okay yesterday? Betting wise? Yeah. Yeah, I only pelicans in action. That got home. I covered. I would just like to say this before. Yes, we pelican. Before. I see what you did before. I've been trying to start that for two years. I don't think it's catching on kill. No, no, I don't think it is. Maybe for New Orleans. Let me know. Well, I don't think it's catching on. Numbers game brought to you by Profit X proudly. I assume I should ask before I assume. I have a pet peeve before I give all the tennis picks. What you got? The people said, oh, you don't armoured truck people in the real world. They take money in and out of banks. Yeah. Primarily out of banks, I should say. They, I understand. It's very sensitive, right? You can't like joke around. There's a kid I had a buddy in college who joked around with when I got a gun pulled on it. There's a middle campus. Really? Oh, yeah. So I get it in the middle of campus.

Middle of campus. Campus center. Got a gun pulled out because he was just being stupid. So then, that's not my pet peeve. My pet peeve is the folks, the similar job in a casino. The folks who take the money out of the slot machines here at Circa. They think they are the most important human beings on earth. Kelly agree? Yeah, it's every casino in this town. Oh my god. I don't really know how it works. Like I have a feeling it's kind of like a like a third party's involved or something. God forbid I want to get past you. Geez. Yeah, it's get out of their way. The money is being handed. You know what I don't get either. We didn't talk about this before. My favorite part about the job though, you know, the guys that take out that come little cash boxes, right? They're removing them. They all wear these really loose jumpsuits. And I'm like, why would you want the people handling their cash wearing like wearing a jumpsuit where you could in theory put cash in a lot of places? It's cool, man. Jump suits. I don't really get that. All right. Yesterday hit on Carolina Mojoba. She wins is two in a straight sets against

I should say two tight sets, but straight sets nonetheless against Victorian Boca. Sorry for those who followed the the futures play from both Drew and Zach. I had a feeling with Mojoba. Yes, today's just has a beautiful game that can flimax someone like me in Boca. That's what happened. Mojoba moves on. We hit that one. And then easy peasy last night straight sets on Francisco's Serundalo over Ugo Umbair. So a two and O antennas that brings our tennis run to 16 and five with all the dogs thrown in there. That's a plus 13.56 unit run here in Miami. And Flago, man, which is this exactly how the hard courts went last year. There was a couple really janky weeks in between the Australian open and Indian wells. And then all of a sudden the flourish when the data really manifested today. It's three. We are getting frisky with it today. Two on the men's side. One on the lady side on the lady side. Now this this line was out over 24 hours ago. And I wasn't going to play it because it was a little teetering. But then the money just came pouring in on a Robocona. I'm sorry.

You cannot not. I believe that's a double negative meaning you have to play Jesse Pagula plus 180 today. Jessica Pagula plus 180 who has played who has lost a Robocona here the last few times they played. But they're always competitive. They go to breakers. I'm on Pagula today plus 180. That's the early match on the lady side. That was a solid middle and start to the breakdown. I like that. They had the I'm sorry. The double negative. Thank you. Thank you. Real solid. There's parody. Yep. Tribute. So I prefer your homage. On the men on the men's side today. The big dog. Martin Landa Luce with the Castellano pronunciation. Landa Luce plus two 12 versus yeary LaHechka. Landa Luce is hard court numbers are as good if not better than LaHechka's LaHechka. The much more known name. But Landa Luce has just been unbelievable. We had him as a big $2 plus dog before in this tournament. We'll do it again. Open he can keep it going. And then Tommy Paul tonight. The American plus 11 versus art or feasts.

Which should be a great matchup. So it's Pagula on the lady side. It's Landa Luce and Tommy Paul on the men's side. Going down already feels. And then there's one more. And then there's one more. We have this one is not today. This one is tomorrow. The rare day before tennis play. I am on Mojoba again versus Coco. Minus 111 on Mojoba in a virtual coin flip. Yeah. Every book of love see that on my screen. That has that up right now. It is minus one 10 each time. Yeah. So there you go. Three today, one tomorrow. Oh, y'all like center side. He's a small favorite. Yeah, he's a small favorite over two or a big foe. Minus 5,000. Yeah, it's pretty accurate. Is that really weird? Teofo's games at right now. I feel like I've asked you six times about Teofo in the past six. Teofo's actually playing very well. But 15 to one just stands no chance. Just think about how amazing tennis is. That dude is like a, you know, perennial top 20 player in the world. And he just cannot compete. He's 50 to one. Yeah. Matching in teotics. And now think about if you tried playing Frances Teofo or even just like a great high school player

tried to play Frances Teofo. They're only into one. Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, professionals tennis is one thing. And now we are. Oh, I'm sorry. Pro's are good at sports. They are good at sports. Well, but in tennis, it's this ridiculous. And it is this ridiculous gain. Like the greatest team in the NFL is not that much better than the 20th best team in the NFL who's not that, you know, it's just it's something else. Oh, yeah, it's the same thing, but it's the same. It's the same golf thing, right? Where people scream at home like, oh, I could have hit that shot. And it's like, yeah, go out there for 18 holes for four days. And see how you do on this course against these guys tennis is one thing. Tank, Paloza, much more mixed results. We're waiting for it this time. I wonder if people think that that's built into the audio and they don't know that you're doing that live.

I'm gonna take that as a compliment. You think I would make it in the the metal scene back of the day? What do you think about that? The crack intro? That or oh, yeah. And then I just go. Oh, no, I don't think people know that I do that live. I've gotten so consistent with that. I think you're right. I would guess at least half the people think that's built in. It paid me the middle in bucks for ladies, gentlemen, tank of Paloza, brain dead parlays. Has been going like 2018. We're six and four on these. Now the legs are 36 and five. So the concept remains. Sorry, it's supposed to be like proof of concept, but not really making money for us. 1.04 units of the positive. I hope we've enjoyed that 1.04 units. It's a lot of work for 1.04 units. But Kelly, Billy, tonight, we have a four-legged. You in this? You in this with me? Yes? No. Not here in a lot of enthusiasm. Not here. No, not here in a lot of it. Four, four-legged today, which pays a little less than 70 cents on the dollar. The four-legged NBA brain dead parlays.

The Lakers, Spurs, Nuggets, and Warriors. What could go wrong? Lakers are playing the Pacers. Spurs are playing the Grizzlies. Nuggets are playing the Mavs. And the Warriors are playing the Nets. Pays $0.69, a little more than $0.69 on the dollar. No, $0.65 on the dollar, pardon me. I don't want to lie. $0.65 on the dollar. Lakers, Spurs, Nuggets, Warriors. There you go. Yeah, I really like. I think you can lock and load the Nuggets side right now. The Spurs side for sure. Lakers are a little, Lakers are just a little concerned about because of what the Pacers did the other night. It's the same sort of thing. Yeah. You really went to the room. And then like, I mean, you've been saying it. So I know I don't have to tell you this. But oh boy, this Warriors team. This Warriors team has been tough. Oh, before we move off the NBA, can I just say this? Remember yesterday, how I made a big deal of Victor Wemba. Yama talking about his belief that he ought to be the MVP.

And remember yesterday when we went over the odds, it was sort of like fade out completely where I look. It's a thousand. And what did I say to you? And I said, there's no way this reflects the actual numbers. Right. In other words, Shay is probably the favorite. But there's no way he's minus 1000. And the next dude is like the only guy lower than 33 to one was Luca. Besides that. Well, guess what? After Victor Wemba, Yama stumped for himself yesterday. Look at this. Shay minus 800. Luca 10 to one. Wemba, Yama 13 to one. Those are the best odds. You can get them. In other words, it's more crunched up in some other shops. But those are the Fandall numbers on Luca and Victor. 10 to one and 13 to one. Yoke, it's though, it just makes those sense. Yoke goes the Yoke, it just goes the other direction. Yeah. So anyway, for what it's worth, if WIW, if you're typing it out, little tighter. And so the question I had asked you yesterday was, do you think Victor talking about himself will matter? Well, in the short term, it sure has.

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, there is not I not shocked at all to see the odds move. And yeah, we talked about like I think it will matter a little bit. And it does never hurts your case to go on a post game PowerPoint presentation about why you should be in this. But I know what I think it does though. I really do think it's it says to many of the voters. And by the way, the betting market is not the voters, right? It's the other way, but I think it says to people, whether they're the voters or the betters, it says, hey, by the way, this, this like gap here, this got this, the boardy like decided its chase, much all wake up and sort of watch what I'm doing. And he said he goes on the best defender out there. By the way, offense is not just scoring. By the way, we crushed the thunder. These are the main bullet points of his PowerPoint presentation. True, true, and true. Coming back on a numbers game at Visa. These sports betting that work. You're here because you want an edge. That's what separates listeners from winners. But let's be real. There is a numbers game guest who has a website. You like man bear hawk? Yeah, I like it. There's a numbers game guest who has a website with umpire and weather data for games. Can you remind me of the website address? Do you remember that? Uh, uh, what does it say? Umpire and weather? Umpire and weather data. I'm not sure what that was. I feel like, feel, feel like decent.com has some of that. Ryan Klaus. I respect you. There's rotor wire. Ryan Klaus came out me yesterday with Maboko's going to get a revenge. He gives a big red X to himself. Now he's trying to fade me again on feast. I don't know why he does that. Chris Heath also the live boop doop doop doop doop during country club and very impressive. Oh, thank you. See if he has a good choice then. I heart SEC podcast. Lakers Spurs Nuggets Bulls, especially Chicago coming off their first win and forever.

Yeah, I wasn't willing to play against the Bulls today. Oh, that's yeah, that. Well, we're going to get to more NBA games. I've got, I've got that one circled kill. That's an interesting one. I like, it's, I don't feel great about it either, but Paul George back tonight. It looks like to well and beat could be back for the sixers. And guess what? That number just keeps going down. Like, uh, the sixers were like seven point favorites last. I didn't know like five and a half now. Donovan at Donovan Dodd. I need some outside perspective boys. I made a five like NBA MLB Parley on Monday with four of the brain debts who all won by a million. And the Yankees tonight, it's 228 to one. They wouldn't head your not side note. I'm a Yankee fan who also be at the game. Sorry, Gil. I love the show. Thank you. You don't have to apologize for that. What do we got? Yeah, what is this five five like NBA MLB Parley on Monday with four of the brain debts? I guess he played him a TS. So it's Yankees to close the Yankees to close it out. He says, should I head or not? Well, I would, I mean, if you're, it's 228 to one.

I probably had you a little bit. Yeah, I don't know if you know this, but you're playing giants magic. And then Jett O'Connor, the Alexander Teller machine. Well, it has been lately. Has been lately. And then money line, Marv, he says, oh, he's, he's parlors. Are you parlaying? Yes, he is. He's parlaying. But Gula Londolus and Paul. Oh boy. This is not condoned, but okay. It is. I'm sorry, good. No, sorry, I finished. I got something to bring up before we last one. Last one. Nugget, that is from Nash. Last name, Nash. Nugget's got back from Phoenix at like 4 a.m. this morning while Dallas rested. Give me Dallas Denver. First half full game winner, parlayed five to one. See now everybody's parlaying. It's an interesting angle though. Yeah, Denver back to back. Late game last night. Yeah, the old 1130 tip off 1130. It's so sad when like peacock starting an NBA game. And I'm like, I'm going to go to bed soon. Like, this is, see you later. No, I saw Meltzer tweet this out. See this MGM deal? What's it? Oh, where was it again? This is pretty unbelievable. $300 all in deal for Luxor and Excalibur.

But still $300. Two nights day. Yeah. Okay, three meals a day per guest. And it's not basically all MGM properties. Most of the MGM properties. Nothing nice ones. Two tickets to one MGM resorts show per stay. Two rides on the pick apple. Apple coaster in New York, New York. Oh, that's fun. It free bargain. Tell of a deal. I don't know why the tickets to a show jump out to me. Right? Like, that's like, that's not cheap. No, that's not cheap at all. Good deal. Good deal. It is a good deal. I might explain why one of my buddies is staying there tonight. Did you have all the sense? I think this is every once in a while, I'll get a friend right that's in town or something. It's like, hey, could me be? I'm like, all right, we're yet. And it's like there. And you're like, well, like in my head. I'm just like, why? Like, why? It's cheaper. It's cheaper, gambling. In addition to the, to the Wemba Nyama thing that we were pressured about yesterday. Will this change the betting odds? I'd mentioned yesterday with all the MVP odds and we've shown every day.

And I sort of have railed against two things. One, I said, this proves that load management is bull crap, I believe was my word. Technical, technical term. And the other thing I said was the 65 game thing is insanity. Right? It should absolutely, it's horrible. It should absolutely be changed. Because of Kate Cunningham was legitimately a candidate. For MVP, the fact that he would not be eligible based on a legitimate injury, the man's lung collapsed is ridiculous. Well, it's like the NBA players association was listening to the show. They filed a, they fired under statement against the 65 game rule after Cunningham appeared, appears that he will come up just short to qualify for awards and all NBA. So it affects his all NBA as well. They said Kate Huntingham's potential in eligibility for postseason awards after a career to finding season is a clear indictment of the 65 game rule and yet another example of why it must be abolished or reformed to create an exception for significant injuries since implementation. Far too many deserving players have been unfairly disqualified from end of season honors by this arbitrary and overly rigid quota.

Thank you very much. Well, you've done it again. Consumed. I've listened to a lot of people have this conversation over the past 24 hours. Consumed a lot of media. I keep my heads going around in circles with this. Because, look, the Kate thing's just this sucks. It sucks, right? It sucks for him. Uh, the fact he's not going to qualify. Here's the problem. NBA PA comes out and says, says, is you agreed to this. Yeah, he did. You know, like, like, we can, we can pick specific instances at the end of season. And Kate is, I think, special this year, but it's really happened each of each of the last, uh, couple of seasons. I've said it many times before everybody got out there, you know, you know, what's in a twist about this today? I've said a few times. I'm like, it's like, okay, it's like everything Adam Silver does. It's like, in theory, it's correct, but it always is rife with pitfalls. Right. No, it gets like, I get it. You did this to combat load management. And not only did you combat load management, you prove that it was nonsense. Because all these guys are like, well,

the Yokech has had one. He's a, he has been, hey, Yokech could only afford to miss one game. And that's been going on for a month and a half or two months now, right? When we, us with, when we, or the same thing, when that out, these guys can play whatever they want to. So the low, you, you've not only combated load management. You've proven it. It's terrible. But the downside is you cannot, you cannot blanket this. A collapsed lung is not a dude with a hangnails. Like, you know what? I'll feel like playing a night. It's just not the same thing. No, no, it's not. It's absolutely not. But like, okay, you go. So injury, season ending injury, there is, there's a, there's another side. Another add-on to this rule that doesn't get talked about much. It's, it's a 62 game minimum. If you have a season ending injury, all you'd have to play 62, Cade still falls, comes up short of that. He's at 61, I believe. 60 or 61, depending on how you count the minutes for the last game. It just, it, I am, I totally agree with everything you said, kill. It's just NBA PA. You agreed to all this.

Like, it's, you can't come out right now and say this one time, you know, throw it all out. So, no, yeah. And then you just sit on the big thing too. And I, I, I have a lot of issues, usually with some, like Tim Bond, Tim's and kind of, kind of the tone and, in attitude and approach, he takes to a, to a lot of things that he talks. I thought he talked about this perfectly where it's, but he, like, Zacklow, I brought up kind of insulted about the 65 game rule with how it affects voters. They think that they should be able to go, it, it parsed out that data and figure out who really deserves it, right? It's right voters. You're dumb. You can't figure this out for yourself. You're dumb. Yeah. But the whole idea about why you put this in for the first place was to combat load management and it's working. Like it's working. Well, not only is it working, it's proving that your league is full of it with this stuff. That's what it's proven. I don't really know. I just, you're full of it. It's like, I don't know the other change. And now Adam Silver is considering shortening the NBA season.

So, not only are you load managing, now they're shortening, they're considering shortening the NBA season. And by the way, they're not going to stop load managing even though the season is shorter. Because that's just how this, when did we, when did we see that? Oh, that's the, the, he, Richard Jefferson was going off on this. Well, they need to, I don't think the NBA is ever brought and they're not going to shorten the season. They should. They should. It's too difficult to shorten it. But Mark Cuban was once explaining. It's not just shortening games. You have to like your, your staff at the arena. Oh, it's just, it's way too complicated. I mean, the, the economics that go into a league, right? I mean, it's literally stadium workers. It's selling tickets, right? But like, I mean, the first thing to combat, tanking all of this. Hey, okay, we want to talk about real injuries, like Yannis and calf injuries, right? Kade, cunning him. Man, all this stuff would help if you took away 10 games. Yeah, you have any NBA plays tonight? I do. I do. I have one right now locked and loaded. This is, can't wait to watch this game tonight. Actually, Thunder at Celtics. I laid the points with the Thunder. I got a bad number. I laid three and a half last night.

It has come down to two and a half. Okay, see, looks like they will be very healthy with everybody ready to go for this game tonight. So I did lay it with the Thunder. Okay, Paul Spore, major league baseball, his final words before the season begins tonight. In San Francisco, coming back on a numbers game at Visa. These sports betting network. Numbers game on Visa. These sports betting network. Brackets are for everyone. This is for better. The recent March betting challenge is still going. It's not too late to get in on the action. We're down to the sweet 16. Of course, in this round, you have to make five picks. Spreads are totals. There's still plenty of prizes still on the line, including one for the highest score from the sweet 16. Onward, I was enjoying the word onward. And if you have a free edge boost account, every prize doubles head to visa.com slash contest and get your picks in now. Speaking of that, numbers game entry, we've got to get together. I was just thinking this too. Yeah, we got to get together.

When's the green meeting happen? We're too back of the Visa and show contest portion of this with our stellar. You ready for this 15 and 15 record. Yes, we got passed by money moves, right? Got track down JVT. It's all it's all very tight. Visa and prime time in the lead 17 and 30. As far as the Visa and shows are concerned, for you to pull a sport in baseball. I don't usually comment on stuff like this, but because I grew up where I grew up in DC, ACC basketball, then later Big E basketball was just, it was just a way of life and UNC and Duke as far as the ACC rival is concerned. Maybe the biggest rivalry in all of American sports. Really, UNC Duke. Hubert Davis will not return. This was reported yesterday. It was kind of, it was not a surprise, right? It's not a surprise, but Hubert Davis, officially will not return as North Carolina's head coach. Let me translate that for you. He was fired. That from Pete Thamel and Jeff Borzello. He spent the last five years of the head coach of the Tar Heels,

compiling a 125 and 54 record UNC reached the national title game in his first year there. I just want to say a few things about this. One, if you listen to the last Megapod, the March Madness Megapod, Todd Wishdev's Hubert Davis story is one of the greats of all time. I got on to check that out. It has to do with Todd was playing at a gym. And you know, it's winter stay on the court. You lose your off the court. So Todd was really like, feed me the ball. Feed me the ball. And this guy on his team was like, all right, Carolina, because Todd was wearing Carolina shorts. All right, Carolina. And finally, like Todd, he was kept getting fed by this guy. And finally, they got off the court. And one of his teammates said, you know, you were saying that too to feed you the ball. He was like, no, who is he goes, Hubert Davis? Hubert Davis played for the nicks at the time. And Todd is like, lamb-based again to give him a ball. Anyway, Hubert Davis is a great guy. Which we kind of like actually reflects Hubert Davis's great character there. He's like, okay, here you go. Here's the ball. Yes, I'm a professional basketball player. But sure, you see very, very intent on getting the basketball here.

So Hubert Davis, um, first year, they get all the way to the championship game. And you will remember, and this is for some North Carolina fans, I don't think all, but the duke hating North Carolina fans, some people say besides the national championships for UNC, the two wins over Duke that year might be the biggest in Carolina history. They beat coach K in the final game at Cameron, right? And they beat Duke in the semis in the final four. So Hubert Davis will always have that. You can never take that away from him. But let's be honest, he's a, he's a guy who loves the institution. Christian guy, he took that job because he wanted to just go to this institution. He loved and be the best, uh, molder of young minds that he could be. And in the end, the game changed. And I think if Caleb Wilson is still playing, he's not hurt. Maybe we aren't, aren't having this conversation yet.

Maybe it, I don't know. Maybe if they lose in the sweet 16, we are again next week. Um, but the game kind of changed. And North Carolina just figured, you know, if we're ever going to compete at the level, because it's not enough for Carolina to get to the tournament, right? They got to compete for the title. And so they're moving on because Hubert Davis's biggest thing was, he was resistant to having to GM. And that ain't college sports anymore. Yeah. So great dude. Not sure, you know, you win 70% of your games and you get to a final, it's, it's, it's what did he do that was really wrong? Except for, hey, man, you got bounced in the first round a couple of years in a row. And that just doesn't fly in, in Chapel Hill. So there was one tweet that caught my eye on this, uh, yesterday kill, because I've been wondering about this guy and the job that he's had for a long time now. Uh, this is from Jay Crowley, Joe Crowley, uh, reporting, uh, yesterday that there is growing momentum that Billy Donovan will be leaving the bulls at the end of the season. That's the name being bantied about the most to replace. They're definitely going out of house. Let's put it that way for an institution that always went in house.

He is the short shot at cows here right now, plus 450. Yeah. If you weren't Nevada, well, you can bet it too. You can bet it next week. You don't even get Nevada started. Just wait 10 days. You'll be fine. Ladies and gentlemen, Paul Sporer joins us because again, a numbers investigation found out that the baseball season begins tonight at Oracle Park. It's average. Let's go to giants and the Yankees Logan Webb max freed. Paul joins us now from Austin, Texas courtesy, the progressive guest line. You can follow him on Twitter at Sporer SPORER, of course, fan graphs his main gig sleeper and the bus is the podcast. Paul, good morning. Happy opening day or opening night, I should say. Good morning. It is indeed opening night on Netflix for some reason. What did you do? Is Netflix account ready to go? Is it okay? Can you get on there? Sadly, just for that. Yeah. I'm the idiot who keeps all of them for the one or five games to watch. It's disgusting, dude. It's so bad. This is the tennis equivalent. You know, people do for the Australian open.

People get ESPN plus and then they just bounce right out of it. Afterward, it's same thing. Oh, between cocks and the streaming services. They are just stealing money from me every day. Yeah. Let's start with tonight. I mean, I'm so much worse than cable used to be. No, no, I go in a ramp way too much. Let's go do totally. I miss it so much just to have it right. Anyway, Yankees minus one 18 tonight with a total at seven. Any any thoughts on on the bet here? I mean, I like web as a live dog on an opening day. Obviously, we don't know how anyone's necessarily looking. You can see him in spring. But once, you know, once turned the lights on for real, it's different. Yeah, I mean, I think if I'm going anywhere on that, it is giants. Obviously, it's just so wide open right now. You don't have great leans one way or the other. But give me a legit ace going against another one. By the way, I love Max Fried. But give me a legit ace at home there. If I'm going to make a play on tonight for sure. Do you like or dislike my Logan Web most wins in Major League Baseball betted at 15 to one this year? I've got no problems with that, right?

Because he again, he is a true workhorse ace that is seen as somebody who's ready to go, seven every night. I know that's not like old school where you don't nine every time, but like in today's game, somebody who sets out with like seven as kind of the baseline the way he does. That's huge, you know? And he's always getting past that fifth, pretty consistently outside of maybe a handful starts each year when everyone gets bombed out. So that puts Web in position all the time. It's a pretty competent offense. You know, they got some star talent too. It's not just kind of like decent guys up and down. And you know, the bullpen is all right. I don't know about the bridge to Walker, but I kind of believe in Ryan Walker's mechanical change. That's got hopefully got him back to pre 25 levels. So that should be able to close out the win. So I really don't mind that for Web. If you're going to go off the board from like the obvious guys, he's absolutely someone to go toward. Yeah, for those who are like, is that a just a home or pick for me? No, 2023, what would his plague Logan Web is? This unbelievable lack of run support through the years. Worst run support in all of Major League Baseball in 2023.

24th, worst in 2024, 25th, excuse me, a 40th, worst in 2025, overall of Major League Baseball among qualified starters. And with each of that incremental drop or incremental increase, I should say in run support, if you will, his wins have ticked up correspondingly. And so you're just sort of betting on it. Can this be a year where you actually get some decent run support? So that's that's really the bet. What about let's just sort of get the broad headline from you. At the end of the baseball season, what's going to be the headline or headlines that here is we sit here on March 25th opening night day, if you will. We would have, we would just be startled by. Boy, that's a good one because I don't really know because I think ABS is going to be huge, but people are expecting that, right? The automated balls strike system. So I think that that's going to be something that is, is pretty game changing. But again, I think that's more expected. I don't know because I don't have like a ton of upset playoff teams either.

I don't have it like full chalk. But I think, you know, we'll see some teams rise up. Like I don't have the Yankees winning the division. I got the Red Sox. So that's not going to go crazy. And so I don't know there's going to be one over it. There's going to be players who do it. But figuring out who, you know, is the George Springer of this year. A guy in his mid 30s who looks kind of like he's in the descent, comes out and has an MVP type season. I don't exactly know who that's going to be. So I'm not exactly sure what's going to revolutionize things. Like I said, I keep coming back to the ABS. But we are expecting that to make a difference. If you are on the fence about how big that's going to be, I think it's going to be massive though. Who are your seven teams? Excuse me, your six teams in both the American League and National League to make the playoffs. Mariners, Tigers, Red Sox winning the divisions with Yankees, Orioles, and Astros Wildcards. Mm-hmm. Okay. And then Dodgers, Cubs, Phillies, Metz, Padre's Pirates.

That's probably my big, that's my big sneak one there. Yeah, okay. Pirates. Wow, okay. So, so yeah, interesting. So in the, in the East, you had the Metz and the Phillies, but nobody else. No Braves in there. Okay, so they're so cooked. Okay, I'm sorry, that like it's just so hard. They just keep getting a body blow every day. It's already just like last year with the injuries. Now Striders on the IL. They lost Schwimmbach. They lost their backup. You know, Jose Suarez is in the rotation right now. I like Didier Fuentes a lot, and he did make the team to young 21-year-old upstart, but he's like their next guy up right now. They have no depth on the pitching side. They still have a lot of offensive talent, but I just don't think they got enough juice. I like Miami better than Atlanta. Interesting. And you went Cubs and the other playoff team from the center was the Pirates, not the Brewers. Wow. Yeah. When will we learn Paul's about the Brewers? We all this always seems exactly right. They're really good and they're going to make the playoffs, but I want to get a little cute one going with Pirates. I like it. It's adorable.

We'll come back more with Paul's sport. Major League Baseball. It's at Numbers Game at Vista. These sports betting networks. Here's a shift worth noting. What are you saying here?

The NBA in a nutshell this season. Yokeuch goes 2317 and 17 with a game winner last night on the road versus the Suns and his MVP odds. Get longer. Immediately get worse. It's so true. Johnny Brock. Did you all watch Richard Jefferson's rant about the 65 game schedule? Yes. That's what I was talking about. I watched the rant. He stood up. He was so angry about it. Like he was just like, I cannot believe. He basically from him, it was a generational thing. He's like, really? Like, you guys need a shorter schedule now. You're still going to load managed during it. Soft. That was that I'll summarize his rant for you, right? Ready? Soft. That's what you say. And Jesse Welts shout out to a Rob Moreno for adding in the bouncing ball noise prior to the gunshot point blank into my ear in the take of Balooza intro. It was a bit jarring before. Yeah. I'm I'm I could jarring every time. They've been jarring. Kelly. A proper proper shout out for Rob Moreno. Yeah. I know we'd have to correct anything. You can call me Jesse. Jesse got it. Absolutely right.

Bobby Brown. Bobby Knuckles. Whatever you want to call him. Paul Sporer joins us once again. Tuck Major League baseball courtesy of progressive guest line. Three times a week. Three times a week. We're kicking into our season schedule. So yeah, I think it'll be Monday, Thursday, and Fridays. What we're going for this year. We might add a fourth. We'll see. But right now we're three days a week. Average length. Sleeper in the bus podcast. Episode. But by now. By now. About an hour. Used to be. Hell along, right? Used to be. Yeah. Yeah. And then the sum of the season previews can get there, you know, some of the pitching previews. But once we're in season, you know, we try to keep it an hour a little bit over. Do you, uh, do you miss? I don't know if this is the right word. How do you look back? When you and I first met, you were doing these massive, unbelievably detailed starting picture guides. And you went into the miners, right? You went into the farm systems. You missed doing that?

I do. I mean, there was a lot of fun. Like all 30 teams top to bottom. Anyone that, you know, even for, like, keeper leagues, right? So you could look at the minor leagueers that the guys are going to come up during the year. Something that you could look at all year because once a minor leagueer comes up, okay, go and see, hey, this guy's up from A-Ball and things like that. So I'd go really deep. We're talking a hundred thousand words. Started it by myself originally. Then brought my friend Doug Thorburnon, who's a mechanic's genius. We had a blast with that. It was really fun. And honestly, it's a big part of what kind of got me a little foothold in the fantasy community. Yeah. The Barry of ESPN sought. ESPN at the time. He's now ready. And we see promoted it. Bill Simmons mentioned on his podcast one time. Randomly, which was pretty cool. So, you know, say what you will about those gentlemen. They were awesome to acknowledge it. And of course, Mr. Gilliam also saw it. And that's how he became friends. And so for you different people in different places, saw it, promoted it. And it really helped me kind of jump up a little bit there. I mean, the work spoke for itself. You didn't know the story. Oh, yeah. It was just, I was like, who is this kid?

And Paul, you were like, who had 12, 13 years old at the time? I believe something like that. Yeah. I was in my 20s. Yeah. Those long nights, those long nights, they were a blast. I can still do some of the long nights, but not quite the way I used to for those SP guys. It was incredible. It was absolutely incredible. Let's, let's go to awards. I want to get your thoughts on these now. American League MVP. No surprise. Aaron Judge is the short shot. Plus two 15. Trying to win three in a row. If I'm not mistaken, is that correct? Yes. Yeah. Any, yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. Go ahead. I'm sorry. No, no. I'm just going to say and Bobby Whit is the, Bobby Whit Jr. is the only other person in, in single digits at five to one. Everybody has double digits. And you know, anyone who's been seeing my segments on here for any amount of time knows, I'm never going on the short shot on these. I'm not paying six months to go on a short shot just for feels like a way to lose or not, not that good of a return, right? It's either I'm going to lose in some spectacular stupid way or I'm just not going to get that good of a return. Whit, no, Tony, I understand with the, or excuse me, judge and no, Tony, with the MVP's right now. I totally get it, but I still don't mind throwing a half unit quarter unit

down the board a bit. And my guy is on the board. I wasn't sure if he would be, but there he is at the very bottom. Mr. Wyatt Langford. Wow. Very, very excited for what he's got going. It's obviously going to be a long shot for anybody to beat judge. We saw the year that Cal Raleigh had last year and he couldn't win it. So again, don't do your normal size unit here because then I think you are kind of maybe being a little bit silly. Don't go overboard with a non-judge or a non-Otani. But I really do believe in what Wyatt Langford can do. I think he's got a 30, 30 season. Stupidly as it is. You know, I don't like team performance mattering in the MVP. Might have to have Texas be good to kind of get some of that attention, but Langford could be a huge part of why. And over in the NL, again, Otani, crazy favorite soda. The only one that's close and he's not, he's not even close at all. Again, going to go off the board. You're not going to get me to be going on Otani because why would I do that? I'm going Fernando Tatis Jr. Who isn't too far down the board there, right? So this is still kind of in the pocket of favorites.

I still think there's an MVP season there. I know he hasn't quite been himself since the suspension and the shoulder surgeries. So you have questions about is the shoulder impacting him? How much did PADs help him? Those are fair questions. But his not as good is still amazing. And he still remains basically a stones throw from MVP candidacy. Does Tatis? I still think there's like a 40, 20 season here. It hits 300 with it. Plays good defense in right field. Stays fully healthy. Leads the Padres to a playoff spot. Probably not the division. Let's be honest. And again, I don't think that should matter. These are individual awards. But they do for too many voters. And so I think that will at least help if San Diego does well because I really think Tatis is still an MVP caliber player. I like it. Aaron Judge going for not only his third in a row in the aile but his fourth in five years. There was a show. Unbelievable. There was a show here in between that was the only exception. And then show hey going for his third in a row in the aile but his fifth in six years overall. He's just incredible.

This is amazing. Unreal. All right. Floor is yours for Alan and El Saiyan. All right. So I see we've got the aile board up right now. Scenes being the short shot. Totally get it. Love young moto two and even Sanchez. All three of those guys up there. They make some sense. I've got no problem with that. And yet I'm going down the board a little bit. Bottom of that left column. Hey. Susuzardo 25 to one. The one thing this gentleman needs to do is figure out how to make his bad starts less bad. Right now he he has these mega duds. For me, I call it a dud. Anything that's five earned runs. Because even if you went the full game, that's a five. All right. You can't really salvage a five earned run game. So I just call those duds. Mega duds. That's what like seven plus earn. Remember there was a two back-to-back last year for Luzardo where he loud like 18 or 20 runs. I can remember one of them was a 10-bagger. And then he got pummeled the very next game. When you have these bad games, they really tank your season. He's had this a few times throughout his career. He needs to figure out how to make the bad starts. Be a four, five, six earned run outing. Not a eight, nine, ten.

And if he can trim those down with his great starts, Luzardo has a great chance to win the Saiyung. I do have to go against my boy Scoobal in the AL. He's positioned a three-peat very well. I totally get it. But we got to go down the board. Remember what I said to you, a mariner. Pick your favorite folks. If you really want to get off the board from Scoobal there, pick any of the three big mariners. Kirby, Gilbert and Wu. But for me, it is Kirby who I do think is the cheapest of the bunch. I still just believe in this guy being a true ace. He's got the command and control. He can get the swing and miss. I think he's got to elevate a swing and miss a bit. Pile up a bunch of wins on Seattle. Again, that's stupid. It shouldn't matter what the win-loss record is. But the talent is there for Kirby to have a huge, huge breakthrough Saiyung caliber season. All right, skiing's going for back-to-back in the NL. Scoobal going for back-to-back to back in the AL. Of course, he's got to remain in the AL throughout the whole season for that to happen. Real quick then in our last 30 seconds. Shut up. He's not going anywhere. Oh, I'm sorry. My bad. Yeah, I forgot who I was talking to on that.

Yeah, what? What an absolute slander. Shut up. Shut up. Let's just start doing that. Say that out loud. All right, rookie, the real quick ALNL. Okay, well, my pick is actually McGonagall on fan graphs. So I am taking the favorite there. But Okamoto's awesome. I really, really love him for Toronto. Keep an eye on him. He's got similar power to Miracami, but way, way, way, way better plate skills. And then over in the NL, I'm going for baby skins. Bubba Chandler, baby. This is the year he brings it together. Puts that command and control together a bit. 16 to one. That's why Pittsburgh's making the playoffs. Skins and Chandler. They really call them baby skins, huh? Wow. I just made that up. Oh, he's not close to it. Okay. He's awesome, but he's not close to skins. And that's, that's more a compliment to skins than a dis on Chandler. I like that, though. Let's stick. Thank you, Paul. Enjoy the games. Thank you. Right tomorrow. I'll explore everybody. Coming back on a numbers game right here at these. Few things are as uplifting as the greatest moments in sports.
