Kelly Bill and everybody produces number nine so much more than a producer. So tell you I met Jim Feist, you know, during the football season, the very first thing he says to me goes, tell Kelly so much more than a producer, I said hello. Thanks Jim so much more. He likes the so much more than a producer. We get tweets to be in the book. You know, everybody just wants to talk about music now Rob Graham. Good morning, A&G crew Phil Collins needs to be voted in on first ballot. Just when I send that message, West Reynolds says my exact thought would have loved to have seen in 2007 on his solo tour, but got married instead. Wrong choice by far with a marriage only lasted one year. I thought there wasn't good. She thought adultery was her life's choice. Wait a minute Rob Graham. Too much information Rob, but I didn't get to see what the Genesis story here before at least I didn't get to explain it twice. Wow. Sorry Rob. Oh, jeez. That took a turn. It's some good news. It's Monday. Not good news. Never good news Monday. Hey, stick our down. Wu Tang should be a lock for the Hall of Fame. Rizza had a long term plan from day one made it happen. This brought global superstar. That's extraordinary.
He didn't box out the Rizza man. No. They were at the hard rock or Virgin used to be the hard rock. Like last year or the year before. Stop here. Uh, you know, who was in attendance? Who? Ryan Mustberger for one. He told me, but you know who else was in attendance. Telling us that you know what he told me was in Jim Nance. Was that the Wu Tang? Was that the Wu Tang show? Yeah. I could see Nance. Hello friends watching Wu Tang. Man, I saw Wu Tang. He got in South Florida like 20 years ago. Oh, my God. You know what I was thinking while you guys are talking about about them. There is like. There's a lot of star power in that group. Yeah, like it's a good look to have that whole group up there. Like method man red man still round, right? Like all those guys. The Rizza. Yeah. I think only ODB is not right. I think so being Mariah could be wrong. Thank you. I thought that was good stuff from West. The first thing I did to is go to Kowshi. Tough to see there's zero dollars in that. But it's there.
I think there was some good point out there by West. I'm sure that will be reflected in the market. But that was Mariah Carey. Not that she's been nominated three times. It hasn't made it. I don't understand that. That's why I didn't even know that that stat that West gave about the number one hits. West given a stats. I love it. One last music thing before we go because West and I were talking about this off air. I heard Bruno Mars' new new album. Yeah. No one in this world loves Bruno more than me. Not as best. Really. It's still better than 90% of everything that's out there. Maybe I'm being unfair because it's Bruno and his bar is so high. But it's not the best Bruno I've ever heard. Bruno is just one of the greatest artists of all time. He'll be a first ballot all famous when he gets there. But this this was like nine songs where I like like one or two of them. Interesting. I wonder if he's like, you know, forcing it for some reason because he's got to continue to do shows places. That's new material. I mean, it's still I feel bad even saying it because it's Bruno and he's spectacular. But it's like the the bar is Michael Jackson high. Yeah. He's great to the national football league.
I feel like the combine went came and went quicker than normal in our brains. Oh, interesting. Yeah. Probably Paul Carr who we had on last week attending the combine. Saying that it's more about the meetings now. More about like a baseball winter meetings thing where folks are getting to talk to the players themselves and to each other about trades. Whereas the workout part, he thinks it was a little less than it's been. I think it makes sense that the front offices leave in large part before that. Like all this stuff like this. This stuff is developed and grown so much over the years, right? You've got first of all every. You've got tape on these kids going back to their freshman year in high school of like every single game, every single snap they've ever taken. And then even so a lot of the stuff they're doing at the combine, right? You're doing this stuff throughout your entire entire football career. So yeah, I think that makes sense, but you don't get a chance, you know, electronically right to actually talk to these kids and they asked them some weird questions and see what their answers are going to be NFL draft coming up at the end of April.
April 25th of my correct. What's that Thursday? Whatever that Thursday is that week. Um, 25th hit nailed it. Again, March 25th is when baseball regular season starts. April 25th is the NFL draft. That should be easy to remember. I'm reading the 23rd is that Thursday, but oh, well, Danny. Danny goes 23rd to the 25th. 23rd is Danny. How about a fresca? It's the 23rd is when the draft is the first round of the draft is April 23rd for nano Mendoza. Minus 10,000 to go number one. Ruben Bane, Jr. R Valries, both 80 to one. So we know. Be on a shadow of a doubt for nano Mendoza is going to be the number one pick of the draft and we feel it will be to the Raiders who will stay there and select him. By the way, speaking of the Raiders, Max Crosby. Obviously part of trade rumors at this point post combine. Um, and the deal is according to underdog NFL.
Max Crosby could get traded this week for Albert Breer. The teams that have kept tabs on his availability. This might surprise you, Kelly. Cowboys, bears, Ravens, bills, Patriots, Eagles, Rams. Wow. Many of those playoff teams. Maybe wouldn't surprise you. Yeah. Besides the Cowboys, all those were playoff teams. Oh, no, the Ravens weren't either, right. Think what's fascinating. Correct. Um, I think what's fascinating. There's how many of those teams just recently cut ties with like past rushers. Yeah. Hey, man, I'd love that Max Crosby. I can't, we, me and I talked about it like you were questioning me about it last week. Very interested to see what the price is for Max Crosby. Yeah. Cause I like him too. I like him too, but it will not be like a part of the side, but we'll be high. Yeah. Could be too. I love Max Crosby. Could be too much. One of these teams ends up giving up for the Raiders though. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Trade him to move on. Like you need draft capital. I think just going back to the draft. I think I think the Raiders want as many picks as possible. I kind of think some of these teams who are up high of the draft, but not picking number one. I think they would benefit from trading down and just grabbing multiple picks. Because the NFL draft is the most in exact science. There is none of us knows who is going to end up being great. You sure you have a good idea on some, a better idea on some than others. But generally, you know, you know,
speaking, it's one of the more in exact sciences there are. And so to combat our human flaw of being able to predict that, the more shots you have in the, uh, in the barrel, the better off you are. Mm hmm. And so I just feel like, let's go to the number two pick in the draft. I think those top four teams. Right. Raiders, Jets Cardinals tight. All of them. Raiders, you can do it via Max Crosby trade. And then you can select for Dan Oman does a one. But the Jets are at number two here, by the way, are the odds. To be the second overall pick. And this is really close. Now between our Vell Reese, Ohio State, David Bailey of Texas Tech, Ruben Bane with the, uh, what'd you call the T rex arms, T rex arms and nine to one. Just even the AMC so you go up against Wil Campbell. By the way, we did the Mel Kiper mock last week, seven Ohio State players in the top 10. Did we, did I see that correctly? You did. Incredible. It was six or seven. I think I said six first. And then I recounted, I'm like, is that seven? Was it seven top 10 or seven top 12 either way? Well, we only looked at the top 10. Then it's seven. Then it was seven in the top 10. I'll have to check on that. But that's, it's incredible. I don't really know that anybody truly separated themselves from what we saw combine here. As far as these pass rushers go, because I think Ruben Bane might have separated himself on the wrong direction. Yeah, yeah. Well, yeah. But that was always known as kind of a concern. Well, it was a concern heading into the combo.
I guess it was kind of proof in that. Yes, he's got some shorter arms than usual. Oh, that's great. Danny just correct me four in the top seven. Oh, four in the top seven was Mel Kiper's mock four in the top seven. And those four, by the way, for those who care about what Mel Kiper thinks he has Caleb Downs. I think Caleb Downs was a follicle last week. We said he may end up being the best player in the draft. Yeah, Caleb Caleb Downs safety out of Ohio State goes to the Jets to per Kiper's last mock. Arvel Reese, who's the favorite to go number two in the betting market. Kiper hasn't going forth to the Titans, the Buckeye standout linebacker. Then he's got Carnell Tate. They're wide outgoing to the Browns at six. Then he's got sunny styles going to the commanders at seven and sunny style said a combine record last week. What was this record that you were talking about? sunny styles was what he was all over the place in a bunch of categories, but had a lightning quick 40 time. I was at it. Okay. Yeah, but he was it was all all like everything he did was incredible.
I'm very interested. He had his odds of gotten shorter and a lot of these markets. We could shout out to MGM going to keep shouting these places out. They got third overall pickup as well. Offensive lineman here at the top plus two 30 plus three 50. I think that makes sense. I'm interested to see what Caleb Downs. I what I said last week is I think he is going to be the. You know, I did these teams two and three could sit could sit tight where they're at take pass rushers take offensive lineman. There's a lot of great ones at the top end of this draft, but does someone get aggressive and move up for a Caleb Downs who like you said, I think there's a lot of a lot of thought out there that he could be the best overall player in this draft. Sonny styles 43 inch vertical was the highest for a linebacker since 2003. Paired with an 11 foot to broad jump at a 4.4640. Yes, pretty good. I always love these combine measurements. Look at it getting the defensive title. Let's say Sonny styles. All right. Sonny. I want you to broad jump your way into that running back. Do it. Go.
You're right. Exactly. Where's that coming to play exactly. Sonny styles from a broad jump out there. I think it's fascinating with him of just how does he fit with each teams kind of scheme and what they run. Right. You've got. You've just got so many. So many more nickel packages and stuff being run these days with more defensive backs out on the field, but it puts more pressure on those linebackers than to be able to do so many different things. So I think he's going to be. I think certain teams for both him, a Caleb Downs, they're going to look at them and say, hey, they are perfect fits for our system worth trading up for while other teams. It might not be the case. Francis Maui Goa from Miami is the short shot to go third. So that's interesting. I don't think we saw that last week. That's, that's, that's what I just said. MGM first, we get third overall pick out there that I've seen. They're the only place that has helped us. There you go. Wouldn't have expected him to be the favorite, but there he is. I have no bets on any of it at this point, but there's much time still. Adam Burke on baseball and more. He's picking second in our draft tomorrow. See what it feels about that next.

Dr. Bob is going to join us on Thursday to talk small conference college basketball attorneys and that is historically his greatest thing in college.
Conference tournaments, so looking forward to Dr. Bob's appearance on the show this Thursday has a lot of historicals on that kind of thing, so we'll get into it with Bob on Thursday. Before we get to Adam, Adam Burke, a tray edge, you know I share the Bruno love that you have, but I have to agree on the latest album feels a little like he mailed this one in still the man, but may tray. Well said, I agree with everything that was my impression as well, and I love the dude. Los Vegas 514, yo, you being the R&B connoisseur just Luther Vandross get in. I don't know why I say this, but I say no. Um, that's a tough one, man. Luther only had like one number one hit in the end, but he's just I mean the grade of one of the grade voices in the history of history. I mean, in the history of history, should he should he be a rock and roll Hall of Famer, probably, but you know, we were just talking about this west was saying pink is first ballot is not first about west was saying pinks first year of eligibility is next year.
And he was like, she shouldn't be a first ballot. I was like, yeah, she's more like Isaac Bruce of the Rams. Right. She'll get in eventually, but like way down the road. I feel like Luther will eventually just shouldn't have. He did one shining moment. It's good enough. He did the second. Whatever doesn't matter. Teddy Pendergrass, then Luther. Like Luther's better. I don't give us back to teddy bear one shining moments. Oh, now that's the best version. The Kelly Bidlin version. They should do one shining moment for every sport sporting event ever. It's my favorite part of the NCAA. Chris Vellica's greatest idea was when tanka pollusa 2018 that we should have done a one shining moment with like slow mo of Devon Booker faking a hand injury. I've seen some good ones. I saw I saw a quick one of like the when the NBA prop betting scandal popped up with like Terry Rosier. Drew the ball off his foot and everything. Rick Carlyle fake arguing with the ref. Adam Burke joins us now. A little more than 24 hours away from the first ever the inaugural MLB futures draft here at Veson.
We're Adam pick second. It was learned this morning out of our field of ten. He joins us now courtesy the progressive guest line. You can follow him on Twitter. Of course, at skating tribe, the Adam. Good morning to you, sir. Hey, how you doing, boys? Doing very well. How do you feel about having number two in the draft? I said, if you got number one, the fix was in. So I'm glad you ended up at two. Well, I mean, with number one, I would have had to take into guardians to win the world series. So I'm glad I have number two, just in case, you know, that one gets picked in front of me. I won't be tempted. But now I'm going through working on my plan here along with writing up all these conference tournaments. It's a very, very busy time of the year for me and my team over at Veson.com. But yeah, looking forward to this futures draft tomorrow should be a lot of fun. I think it's interesting that we have. You know, kind of some baseball insider types, but then also some people who are more versed in the betting side of things. So it should be a lot of fun really looking forward to it. It will be very interesting to see how the baseball folks versus the fantasy folks versus the better is how everyone approaches it. It's a really good field of ten. Again, it's one PM Eastern 10 a.m. Pacific tomorrow.
26 MLB futures draft, where we are, we're drafting in one of 11 picks, 11 categories tomorrow that are really kind of it's going to be really interesting to see how people attack this. You have your strategy in mind, Adam. Yeah, I definitely have my strategy in mind, which I'm not going to give away here. But yeah, I have my strategy in mind. And you know, I mean, obviously things have to be fluid, right? Because you got to see what everyone's taking, especially in this format, you know, the snake draft, where I pick second that I don't pick again till 19. So I got a very long time to wait. You know, while maybe some of the more attractive bets are taken off the board. So we'll see, but I'm definitely working on my strategy here. And I got a pretty good plan in mind. I think that hopefully will help me win. But I got a plan in mind as well. And remember, everybody has a good plan until someone gets punched in the face. I got a question for both of you. Okay. Who's the one name on this list? You just you you say to yourself, my goal is to at least beat out this person. Mind's base winner. Base winner. Yeah, that's a good one. You Adam.
Man, I don't know. Honestly, it's again, like Gil said, you know, we get the fantasy people. We've got betting people. We've got baseball people like everyone's bringing some sort of different strength into this field. So love to beat all of them, but I don't know, man, I got to finish higher than Gil, right? I mean, yeah, I'm so you tell me how great my baseball writeups are every single year. And then if I finish behind him, like, I don't know, the audience might revolt or something. That's a good point, actually. And we're talking about this off here. I want Adam Burke to impress Steve Phillips so much that the next time Steve Phillips gets a front office job, he goes, that's that man who impressed me so much in that VC and MLB draft, I must have him. So then he hires Adam Burke for the front office. That's what a lot of pressure going right before right after Steve Phillips. Because it's going to be like, wow, that was a dumb pick. That's a genius pick. I'm going to remind Lancelin of that opening day in 2013 when we bet on my plus 158. That should be fun. How many here's a question for you? How many times we're going to have to use the dump button for Lancelin? I mean, we all we all know how he was on the mound. And if you're a lip reader of any sort of acumen, you could tell what he was saying more often than not.
So I don't know, I wonder how many times we're going to have to use that cough button on him. I alluded to it earlier during the NFL draft at some point, humans, finally, and thank God humans was the voice of a reason. It's something that was, can we keep the descriptions down just so we can move this along. At what point does human say some variation round five of that? Yeah, round five. Big so, like, let's move this alone. I'll take the under on that. Take the under. Take the under on round five. Anyway, 11 plays. A division winner, AL or NL pennant winner, AL or NL manager of the year World Series winner, win total over win total under, L MVP, NL MVP, AL side, NL side, and then either AL or NL rookie of the year. We all have our strategies looking forward to it. Just over 24 hours from now, 1 p.m. Eastern 10 a.m. Pacific tomorrow live right here on. Vincent, all right, you alluded to college basketball. This is an awesome time of year. Small conference tournaments, actually, there's a play in game in the horizon tonight, so it really begins tonight. But then another tournament begins tomorrow and then March 4th, two days from now, a bunch and it's on and on from that point forward. Big conference is next week.
Do you have, let's just sort of peek into your brain and all your right ups here. Is there a particular long shot in some of these small conference tournaments that you have your eye on? Yeah, there's a couple of them, you know, first things first. I mean, I love conference tournament betting. I mean, March madness is very, very high variance. These teams have been playing, you know, conference games for the better part of two, two and a half months. And then all of a sudden they play some team that they've never seen before. You know, so it's definitely tournaments very, very high variance, but I think conference tournaments where you typically have at least one head to head data point, usually two, you know, I think I definitely helps in terms of handicapping, you know, what could happen in these things. There's a couple of long shots. I'm kind of interested in one of them from the big South is Charleston Southern at 30 to one. So I don't know that they're going to win the conference tournament and win through up in their first game is a very, very difficult matchup. And then of course, high point is an odds on favorite to win there in Johnson City in that big South tournament. But Charleston Southern is a team that if you look at their effective field go percentage offense and defense, they were really, really good. In fact, they were first in the conference in both of those stats effective
field go percentage offense and defense. The problem is they turn a ball over more than 20% of the time and they didn't get a lot of those turnovers back on the defensive side. So they kind of squandered, you know, what was a really, really good statistical category for them. But if they're going to shoot the ball well and if they're going to defend well over three games, then at 30 to one, I think at least have a shot to knock off win through up in that first round game. Winthrop is easily the second best team in this conference. But Charleston Southern is a team that, you know, is a seven. I mean, they earned that spot, but there's statistical profile looks stronger than a number seven seed. So 30 to one on them and then one other one out of the Atlantic sun, the A sun tournament here. Bella means 55 to one. They are a great offensive team and they are the worst defensive team in the nation. They are 365 and adjusted defensive efficiency and effective field go percentage defense. But they can score man. They can shoot the hell out of the basketball. They are very, very good on the offensive end. They play at a slow tempo. So you know, maybe that'll help them defensively a little bit here in a neutral setting. But at 55 to one, I think they're a team in the A sun that could make a little bit of noise.
Those are both available draft Kings right now, both of those numbers. Um, that Adam just mentioned in those respective conferences. It is such a great time of week. By the way, we had a question about, uh, do we ask wish never about this wish never gave about a whole bunch of these last week. I'll try to provide those also later on in the show. Um, is there a, do you prefer, is there any difference for you between small conferences and the power conferences next week? Do you tend to do better this week, the next for any particular reason? Yeah. So I mean, people who have read my article, you know, money through Saturday at the Eastern dot com. People have heard my spots. They know that I really like the small conferences. I think when you talk about big 10 big 12 stuff like that, it really just becomes about three points shooting variance because all those teams are really good. There's not a whole lot of gaps between them. These are the conferences that I've been studying and working on all year long. So I think it definitely makes sense that, you know, I do better with that first week of conference tournaments than the second week. All right, Charleston, Southern 30 to one in the big South. And then Bellar mean 55 to one in the A son was the two plays from Adam. We'll get his plays of the day in college basketball and more picking the brain of Adam Burke on a numbers game.
He's the sports betting network. A numbers game on fee said these sports betting network. A numbers game. Live from Circus, or Casino downtown Las Vegas, kill Alexander Kelly Biddler at beating the book is my Twitter. You do not except when I read tweets. I said, I'll be in the book at Kelae by the lawn. That's EY on the Kelly. That's BYD on the Bidlin. That's right. Kelae by the lawn pronounced Kelly Bidlin. Strangely. We get tweets of being the book Mike Zill's Duke 90. You know you're a college basketball guy. If both your parents are buried in the same cemetery as Luther Vandross. Oh, because he sang one shining moment. Part two, not the Teddy bed of grassers. We met Mike Philika. We haven't got as many tweets from him. We've been at Mike. What says what's happening? Brian and Brian Moriannan setting the line at over under three and a half side bets from the MLB futures draft either on screen or via text during the draft. That should be fun.
Dan Groschell. If Adam Burke is going to take the Guardian's wind total under. He better do it right out of the shoot. Worst kept secret is that pick will be off the board at four. You think that's what I'm going to pick at number four. You think that's what I'm going to play at number four. Nope. Jim D'Altario or maybe you'll have to tune in to final. Jim D'Altario Jim D'Altario is not happy. He said Luther's the doctor. He's 100% in the. Well, he said, R&R all the fame. I think you meant the R&B all of it. Yeah, R&B Hall of Fame. Yeah, but we're talking about the rock. Oh, all rock and roll R&R is when he meant rock and roll on my bed. And he says he goes, maybe West Reynolds needs some Luther in his life to find wifey number two. Did West West, West, West married something. Nothing up where I don't know where to do. And he's, he's, he, maybe he put, he put Luther's if only for one night in there. What a great song. What's your favorite Luther song? Kelly Kelly. When shiny moment. Oh, God, they were separated that would. No, look, Luther's awesome. I just don't, Luther's just wanted like Kelly to know Luther, right? Kelly's like Mr.
He represents the people. Yeah. I could give you 50 Luther songs right now if you want me to. I don't want to bore you. All right, Bob's in. Just need someone to remind him on Wednesday. Okay. I'll do it. He always does it. So he goes, do me a favor. Text me on Wednesday that I'm coming on Thursday. I'm like, sure, Bob. No problem. There's some off air stuff right now. So I'm going to buy Bob on Wednesday. And if anybody's involved in the Long Shots podcast, it's listening right now. We're recording in one tomorrow. One o'clock. Let me just say this. Cal, she should put up a PM Pacific type. Cal, she should put up a market. When will Kelly Bidlin quit the Long Shots podcast because of scheduling frustrations? This is from Jason H 11 biggest rock roll Hall of Fame snubs. John Tesch drilled my nose on this microphone. Do you see that? No, I missed it. Yeah. Round ball rock does not get you into the Hall of Fame. Vanilla ice. You could tell where his list is going. And he says Huey Lewis in the news and Snoop Dogg.
Hall of Fame. I guess not. That surprises me a little bit. Steve the proxy. I've seen that. Were they big for too short of a time? Is that what it was? I'm going to ask you. I don't know. Yeah. I don't know. I mean, when they, like I said, I think when they won new artist, I said the Grammys. He was like, thanks for everybody who made us an overnight sensation. They've been around forever. Like Olivia Dean, the fact that she's a new artist. She's been around for a while. But do they do enough? I don't know. The proxy. I've seen Method Man and Red Man probably three times at the Brooklyn Bowl here in Vegas was a Hall of Fame performance. They climbed onto the bar areas on the sides to wrap with fans and meth literally walked on the crowd crowd surfing, but vertically while still wrapping. That's awesome. Okay. Michelle's DJ Dairn Bunch. She's over there today. They are excellent formula graphics. Michelle is where she's here. She's like 10 feet away in the control room. She DJ's Brooklyn Bowl. Really? Yeah. Oh, at least used to go Michelle. Think I'm going to Emo night soon, right? Yes, they're Friday. Go Sarah. Go Sarah. Go Michelle. Brooklyn Bowl. Tim Murray firing shots. The big question will Dave Ross mush himself like he did in the NFL futures draft minus 200. Yes, he says, wow.
Spence. Love my fellow Irishman Shane Lowry. But can we talk about how the PGA tour player most resembling a bear got snared by the bear trap? That's right. Who's he talking about? Okay. Looks like a bear. He loves it. A PGA national keeps. He's the only like big name that keeps going back and he keeps getting. Well, let's say keeps getting Bernie can't couldn't win. Looks like it was going to happen yesterday. Nope. I thought we were having Adam Burke for two seconds turns out we're only having him for one, but we do have his two college basketball plays. We throw those up on the screen real quick. For those who are a feeling for Adam Burke's two college basketball plays. He does have two on this on this Monday. You don't have. There's more than two. Well, there's the two conference ones he just talked about, but here's two plays tonight. He's on Eastern Washington minus three and a half versus Idaho. And he's on Norfolk state. Lane two and a half versus Morgan state. Don't say Norfolk. Kelly. It's Norfolk. Norfolk state minus two and a half. And Morgan state. Then the two conference attorney plays. He just gave out Bella mean 55 to one to win the A son Charleston Southern 30 to one to win the big South.
Yeah, we're live on the air though. So I'm going to lean into the folk a little bit more just so just so people don't miss here anything. Yeah. Okay. Atlantic Sun begins on Wednesday. By the way, so does the big South. Oh, I see what you're saying. All right, back to Major League Baseball. Kelly Bidlin. You learn a lot about Kelly when you hang out with Kelly, because he you learn what kind of markets he enjoys. And one of them is I love this one. Yeah, he's giving you smiling through his talk. I really get him right there. Would you like to introduce these the the buy the division. It's the I've never seen this one before. Kill. I got you. You are right. I was just scrolling markets yesterday like me. Me. Me. Me. Then I saw this one. Oh, so this is which division. We've talked about this a lot in the NFL, which division will take down the pennant for each each league. Right. So we got ALCS and LCS, which division, which team from which division will win that. So AL East minus 125 will start the American League, AL West plus 200, AL Central plus for 75.
I mean, a little bit more interested in the N01, but yeah, because the the issue here is right. Get a lot of teams. Yeah, but if you, I mean, let's just take the bottom one. The AL Central's plus 475. Okay. Who do you really think is winning from the AL Central? Some people have said the Tigers. I've even heard some people say the Royals. But if you believe in those teams, wouldn't you just bet those teams individually. Yes, rather than take the AL Central plus 475, that seems to me to be a really bad bet. Not to mention that this is going to be money tied up for six months. I personally think that the AL West would be the bet here at two to one. Because I like having the Rangers in the Mariners, but I'm not betting it at two to one for entire six months. Yeah, I think the, I'd get it. I think the ones that are fascinating or a little bit more where you've got to get what you've probably need three teams that you believe in to justify. Right. Then you got to run the whole numbers. It's a better really to just bet on them to get to that point or to win the ALCS than to actually bet into this market.
But I don't know. I think like the short shots are interesting, right? Like if you get AL East minus 125 Yankees. You got the Yankees. You got the Blue J's. I mean, we've talked about. We talked about for a couple weeks now. How, how jammed that division is. People are high on the Orioles. Get Orioles Red Sox. Raise Yankees Red Sox said Red Sox like three times. Yeah. What about National League? You like this? National League. Let's see if I'm less grumpy about this. NL West minus 105. The Dodgers are plus 105. I just, I don't, I don't know why you do it here. I just plus 150. I don't, you know, NL West Dodgers. What plus 150? Yeah, I was going to say. So I mean, who's winning the NL West? Who's winning the pennant from the NL West? Unless you think, I don't know. Are you a Padres stand all of a sudden this year again now? No. If anything to play in here would probably be the East, right? Or if you think if you really like the Met's Philly sprays. I, I personally, I hate to, I'm not trying to like rain on your parade here on this, on this particular one, right? But if you, if you went to the.
I mean, if you went to the National League, right? Let's say you go to the central. Let's talk about the central teams. Well, if you, if you like the Cubs, they're nine to one. If you like the Brewers, they're 17 to one. If you like the Reds, they're 22 to one, so on and so forth. You combine them all. Wouldn't you still want more than plus 340? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe you like two of those. If you like two of those three teams, I don't know. Maybe you think you have to do the math on this, but maybe you think that's a worthwhile bet for me. None of this is sexy enough to play for six months. Yeah, that's just my opinion. And at least again, again, I'd rather, I'd rather just take a team or teams. And by teams, I'm not one of these guys that sprinkles it all over the board. Yeah, for me, it's like one team or two. Yeah, I think you would have to be a division where you think there's three teams that stand a good chance. But even then, right? You'd still go compare with the actual individual teams. I do not believe that there is a division in baseball this year where you can legitimately go three teams deep. I'm sure there are some people who can talk themselves into Philly's Braves and Mets. I'm not one of them.
AL East, you've been said. No, because I agree with Joe. I don't think the Red Sox are going to be an AL West. You're missing a third team. You'd say Rangers Mariners. Well, I love the athletics isn't over, but they're not winning the pennant. You know, so yeah, it's tough to, it's tough to, anyway, good on you because these are all available. Some people like this stuff. Yeah, wait, listen, we liked AFC versus NFC this year at a certain point in the year because we really thought the F2 is going to win, right? So not to wipe all these types of markets off the table, but in this case, I don't think I would play there these maybe. Maybe I'm wrong. They might get a lot more like those AFC and NFC. They might get a lot more interesting later in the year. Exactly right. Hopefully drafting skips and so two months into the season, you might feel very differently about this. Maybe the Giants are fantastic. He says not believing it. You know, maybe the Diamondbacks are great. No, I know. We'll come back. We'll recap all the bets, including a bunch of Joe Peter bets next on a numbers game right here at Visa.

Kill Alexander right there's Kelly Bidlin. Kelly Bidlin. Kelly Bidlin. Yes, who was also the co-host of Longshot's little golf podcast I like to call Longshot. Call Longshot. Check it out tomorrow afternoon. Indian Wells podcast tonight 9 p.m. Eastern 6 p.m. Pacific Drew Dinsick Zach Cohen and I with a small 36 hour window between the draw and the tournament beginning. Those two guys, yeoman's effort doing a podcast tonight going away from family. They both have wives. Zach has a wife and child. Pulling away to talk about tennis is fifth major. They couldn't be happier. Thank you guys. And then tomorrow of course the draft, which we're looking forward to. We get tweed speed in the book. You think you think those two are big supper guys? Supper. They go. They big like they gather the whole families at the table for dinner. I don't think the word supper gets mentioned at the Cohen household. You think they're like a big family dinners every night? I think you're okay with those guys getting.
Get doing a tennis pod. That's my neighbors growing up the Haskins Velma Haskins was my neighbor. Miss Miss Haskins growing up in DC and she would say she would now Gilly. Are you is a time for supper? Shouldn't you be inside? I know supper. I owe you a 69 in the summer of 1997. I saw Wu Tang open for rage against the machine. Wu Tang stole the show on a side note. Still waiting for the bandaid to get ripped off for the bucks. When is that happening? Oh, Stringfellow Hawk by the way. Is that a youngest point? I don't know. I'm not sure what to make it. Sorry, I owe you. It sounds like a sweet concert though. Stringfellow Hawk has a message for you, Kelly. This is a great tweet. Oh God, wait a minute. Let me settle in. I'm going to take the mic with me. Let me settle in. What does he got to say? He says, let's see. He bought me a book for a reason. He says, don't know any Luther Vandross. Shoes all over the house. Kelly is your mattress on the floor. Hashtag two single. Now mattress is not on the floor. Stringfellow, he doesn't know any Luther. Nothing, you don't know any Luther. Never too much, never too much. You know, that's all I don't know the names of songs.
How many times have we got to talk about this? If I like, I heard him. I'm sure, yeah. You don't know never too much. You probably don't know any Luther. Besides one shining moment, that's your Luther. Probably. So amazing. No, no, no. How's it going? Singing. So amazing to be loved. Dr. Charles Chupacabra, whoo, at Moopy underscore Williams. Gil loved the show, just wanted to point out as a Louisville resident. It is pronounced bellarmine, like Minnesota as opposed to mine. Why didn't say mine? I said mean. Yeah. You know what I actually meant to ask you about that. It's bellarmine. And when we got to the break, I was like, I said, I said bellarmine. And mentally, I've actually never fully been known how to say that. So I'm glad we got some clarification. Do you remember the first time bellarmine ever came up on this show? Was because they had to deal with that ridiculous rule. When they were elevated to division one, that they had to wait like four years before they were eligible for March. Man, I think last year, last year was the first year they were eligible.
So that was silly. Yeah. Because they had a great record one year and like, sorry, you're not eligible. You can't make it. There's been one or two of that's happened to that, uh, that, uh, it's happened since then, right? I think so. But they're the one that I was remember about, you know, it was 2022. They won the A sun championship, but they couldn't, they couldn't go to the dance because of that. I just ridiculous rule. No point to it. All right. So I have, this is one of these weird days, weird days in the mornings where I have zero bets. The reason is, is because tennis is done till Indian well starts on Wednesday. The draw is not out till this afternoon. So no tennis bets till we see the draw. And obviously the first round matchups, not to mention futures. And in terms of, uh, branded parlays, as I mentioned earlier on the show, there's really unless you want to include Houston tonight for me and throw it in with a bunch tomorrow. But officially, I'm just going to wait till tomorrow because tomorrow we have home games for the magic Hornets, heat and wolves against the wizards, maps, nets and grizzlies. So I don't have anything.
I do have Yukon to win the national championship. They are one of the seven that qualified in the formula. I do have Yukon to win the natty at 16 to one. What do we call a football, the natty, but we don't call basketball the natty. Why is that? Yukon to win the national championship at 16 to one to win the big dance. And then the NBA futures once again spurs to win the NBA finals, 19 to one spur Celtics, 125 to one to meet in the finals. Uh-oh. You won't hear from me for a month if that happens. Like it. And then Victor will win the NBA MVP, 25 to one. We'll see. We shall see. You sir. I got nothing. I'm betting on myself today. What, what's your number? What number did you get it at? Oh, I'm the long shot, like 12 to one. Okay. That's just to get through the day. Just to get through the day. Okay. Joe Pita was here earlier. I'm glad we had nothing because Joe Pita takes up the headlines here. He's got tons today. He had six in the American League, two in each division in terms of season win totals. Red Sox under 87 and a half wins. It's his favorite under period. Red Sox under 87 and a half wins.
Raise over 76 and a half wins. His favorite over of all of them comes from the AL Central. That's the white Sox over 67 and a half wins. He's also on the Guardians under 78 and a half wins. We are in Portugal with the second straight year on the Guardians under AL West. He's got the athletics over 75 and a half wins. I like that one too. And he's on the Mariners over 90 and a half wins to the National League. He's got two in the National League East Phillies under 89 and a half. Naddies. The Nationals under 65 wins. Not low enough says Joe Pita. From the NL Central, even though he's getting a worse number, he didn't think this would soar. He thought he could wait on this, but he didn't. So he's not getting the better number that he wanted, but he's still on the pirates over 78 and a half wins. Still likes the buckos over 78 and a half. And the Giants under I just say, but I kind of agree. Giants under 81 and a half wins. Come on Giants do something. And then West Reynolds did did have a bet today on the play in game in the horizon.
IU Indie team total under 84 and a half the Jaguars versus Cleveland state. The Vikings. There you go. Jaguars Vikings. Cleveland state in Cleveland, unlike Jacksonville state, not in Jacksonville. Well done. Well done. Yeah. This is why Kelly's here. Yeah, stuff like that. Adam Burke's best bets. He's on Eastern Washington minus three and a half versus I know. Of course, we didn't get to that in his segment because I thought he was here for two. My bad. Norfolk state minus two and a half at Morgan state, his other one. And he is on a Bellarmine. Bellarmine 55 to 1 to win the Atlantic Sun Charleston Southern 30 to 1 to win the biggest out. I like that. And Dr. Bob here on Thursday to talk more small conference tournaments with us. You think you will remember Bellarmine two days from now? Yeah. Okay. I mean, Danny, I might have to test or remind me to put a Bellarmine bet in like at the end of the week. I'm open to correction. No, you are. And you're also really going to remembering stuff.
So I'm not doubting you. But I'd still like to test you. Hey, man, just do. Would you not believe Dr. Charles Chupacabra on Twitter at Moopy underscore Williams? With a name like that. How would he ever lie? Literally believe him. Jeff Staples says best Luther song. It begins and ends with me. So horn. Oh, that's a different Luther. It is Luther Campbell, not Luther Vandross. And Brian Schaefer says, isn't Luther Vandross's famous song Dance with my father? I think that was his first number one. I don't think he ever had a number one hit till it. By the way, it used to Luther Vandross is a like a musical perfectionist or was. He used to get so angry when R Kelly would have a number one song. Really? And like, because he was like, he's like a note and a half off. And it would drive Luther crazy. And I can't get a number one record. And Luther is pitch perfect, no matter what. You're going to Luther Vandross concert. He never missed a note. Here's an underdog NFL. Marshawn Latimore currently expected to be released by the commanders per M Zenitz.
Oh, khasvichalil that we should finally get rid of Marshawn Latimore. God was his tenure with the commander's terrible. He was so bad ever since he got to Washington. Yeah. That was the first Adam Peters botch. What's the Marshawn Latimore pick up? By the way, Bama sluggers says Jacksonville state actually in Jacksonville, Alabama. Is that what you said? Yeah. Oh, okay. He's correcting you. No, I meant not in Jacksonville, Florida. Sorry. Oh, you said, oh, to now, Bama. Yeah. Yeah. You said that. Anyway, good addition by subtraction there for Washington. This will be an interesting free agent season too. Like where everybody goes. By the way, Debo Sam, you'll speak in a Washington. Could very well end up according to some back in San Francisco this year. I don't know. And what's the brand and I you think? As long as I'm doing stream of consciousness. What's going on with it? What's the brand and I you thing? You can say that for the past year and a half at this point, right? See, okay. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah, they got to figure out some things with receivers. I'm just looking at this is where I got to hear these songs.
I'm looking at Luther Vandro songs right now. And I'm like, I think I know that one. I think I know that one. I think if you don't know never too much, you know none. Is my feeling on that? Okay. Yeah. Got him a feeling. Anyway, by the way, I just want to say this. We talked about music. 95% of our tweets ended up being music today. What does that say? Yep. What does that say? All right. Hey, string fell. I knew the Rizza. I could name you like six members of Wu-Tang Clan. That doesn't count for anything. I didn't even need to go to the book for that one. It goes. I can. I can give you 11 members of the Wu-Tang Clan. I don't know. Luther, though. Anyway, thanks to Joe Pita. Tomorrow on the show. So again, 6 p.m. Indian Wells. Tomorrow, 1 p.m. Eastern, 10 a.m. Pacific. It's Chris Felica just texted. Is the Veecin MLB draft on Veecin Live? Yes, is the answer to that. Correct? Yes. It is live. I believe so. I believe so. Yes, it is. It is live. Chris Nick's hosting it. Yes, Nick's hosting it. It's live. So where prop points is, prop points follows this show, right here, momentarily.
Tomorrow, instead of prop points, Nick Whalen, co-host of prop points, will host the 2026 MLB futures draft 1 p.m. Eastern tomorrow. Indian Wells. Pot is live tonight for the tennis hornos out there as well. We've done all we can do. A standard version of prop points is next, however, with both Nick and Jeff Erickson and Joy from Veecin, the sports betting network.
