Number three of a numbers game of visa, these sports betting upward visa.com, game plus I hard radio YouTube TV series, sex of channel 158 is sharp week. Yeah, you can, you know how we know it's sharp week is the bites out of the graphics right there. There you go. That was well done. I was pretty good bite. That's right. Let's kill Alexander. That right there is not Todd Wischneff. It's Kelly Bidlin. Another graphic sense. I wish them. By the way, I missed that kid already. Oh man, Todd was, Todd has been awesome, especially. How many times have we had about three times? Three in the last week, three in the last week. We bugged him a lot when he's been trying to
hang out in Las Vegas plus a megapod yesterday. By the way, on the break, right before he came in, he just made $975 playing by Jay. I mean, you couldn't tell if he was being serious or not. He was good for him. Oh, we get tweets. He was asked. He showed up early. He's like, what are they supposed to do? We're like, I don't know. Just I'm going to play a joke show brought you by prophet X. By the way, we get tweets. We didn't book limited everywhere rights. He almost made it without the tennis trolling moment. Thought you made it. No, he had to get it in. He had to get it in. Bees bets. I can't decide whether Wischneff is saying the final eight on purpose instead of the elite eight. It's safe. He just, it's, it's not purposeful. He just does. He can't remember what the name is. So smart guys. Just trying to avoid all copyright infringement. Yeah. Donnie Miller on the bottom part of the top part. I really like on the bottom bottom. I have who needs regional directions never changed. Todd, you're the best. Yeah. He has time, tough time with directions as well. Anyway, there you go. Wisconsin in his final NC state, which has to get by Texas in the playing. That one's tonight, right?
NC state in Texas. Where's that tomorrow? I get to forget the playing. I mean, I know prayer review is tomorrow, right? Oh, tonight. That's right. Yeah. Tonight is NC state, Texas. So that he can be done tonight. One point favorites. Only two first four teams have ever gotten to the final four. He is projecting. NC state to get to the final eight to the elite eight. VCU in 2011 with shockest smart UCLA, the Jaime Hakez team in 2021. Brian M. We all know your little buddy Kelly Bidlin wasn't the one taking the bite out of the graphics as he disappears before our eyes. That's true. That's true. There's that. I've got. I've got beef with someone in the back. Oh, with who? With whom? I'm going to tell you this has to do with eating too. Okay. Yeah. So I'm back there. Yeah. Yeah. Go back there. Make way for Todd. Happy to do that. I like to take my normal seat right next to Larry running graphics. Yeah. There's no room. Danny's in the producer spot. So I got to find a find a seat, right? And I see a good friend, Wyatt Tomcheck bringing a box full of donuts for everybody. Hands one to Larry does not hand one to
me nor offer one to me. Hands one to Danny and then walks with the box of donuts away. Never, never. Just didn't offer us a donut at all, Gil. I worked for us and just skipped over me completely. You know how much I'd love to pile on the Wyatt slander. But here's what happened. Yes, the reason that the beating the book Megapod March Madness podcast only came out in the middle of the night last night as opposed to right after we aired it, right after we recorded it. It was aired live on Twitter was because Todd's mom called him a minute before the end of the recording or there's something like that. And it jacked up everything. And so we could we had to re-upload the whole thing. And because it was almost two hours long, that's what happened. So Wyatt just Yomans effort just maintained with it the whole time. So Wyatt Tomcheck, you can give donuts to whoever you want. But this is where it hurts me more, Gil. Like, why does great work? I just thought we were all close. I thought the three of us were pretty close. I thought we went pretty far back these these days. Yeah, still sad. It's fine. Okay. I hope you hope you can get over,
but I understand your point. McDonald's for the whole crew, but Wyatt on Thursday. We have another transaction in the National Football League. In case you missed it, Jayden Waddle is headed over to the Denver Broncos in a deal that includes the Broncos first round pick from this year. Now the Eagles have made a move. They have signed a wide receiver themselves, not a trade, but a signing mark. He's Hollywood Brown signing with the Eagles for one year up to $6.5 million. If he can meet all the incentives. How do you feel about that? Hollywood Brown go into the Eagles and still the whole AJ Brown thing still up in the air. I was going to say, it is not this one doesn't move the needle for me at all, though, but but does this say something about AJ Brown? I don't know if it doesn't. I don't know that it does for sure. Who knows? Who knows? How many teams did you find that this free agency season was kind of me? Or did you think it was pretty up there? This will be his fourth team. It really feels like Hollywood Brown's been a team. There's a lot of teams. Yeah. Four and six years. We have Baltimore, Kansas City,
Arizona, Arizona. I forgot about that. Yeah. So we always bring up the college basketball formula. It's so funny. The one guy where we're put out the formula. He thinks he's smart. The people who think they're the smartest and on Twitter, right? The people who want to go after you. I just news, news flash. They're always the dumbest. So we have the one guy who's always, oh, my five year old couldn't have picked those five teams. That's not the point of the formula. The formula is just telling you these are the only teams that match the criteria, right? You know, we're going to do today. We're going to try to pick a team that could bust our formula. There we go. Let's do that. The formula once again, last 35 champs or assistant turnovers, 32 of the last 35 champs had coach with sweet 16 experience. Kevin Oli, 2014 Yukon Huskies. Dan Hurley, 2023 with Yukon top golden last year with the Gators, the only exceptions, 35 year. 29 of last 30 champs went to the tournament with at least three wins versus teams of the top 10% of RPI Yukon Huskies, 2014, the exception, last 30 champs at the top 75 strength of schedule, 22 of the last 23 champs top 10 top 20, pardon me, in adjusted offensive efficiency at Kenpom,
2014 Yukon Huskies. It should be a 30 for 30 on that team. I'd like to do the testimonials. Just keep breaking in with formula updates on them. 10, 22 of the last 23 champs were in top 20 adjusted defensive efficiency at Kenpom, 2021 Baylor Bears, the only exception there. So who, and again, the teams that qualified this year, the usual suspects, right? Arizona, Duke, Michigan, Florida, Houston, those five. It's kind of been the story, the five times we've updated this here since the new year began. Outside looking in, there you have a bunch of teams also. Iowa State, Michigan State, Illinois, Gonzaga, Yukon, Texas, tech, Purdue. Now the goal of this here chat, Kelly. Yeah. Is to figure out, forget Duke, Arizona, Michigan, Florida, and Houston. I come to you from the future. And I say to you, hey, Duke, Arizona, Michigan, Florida, and Houston, none of them won the big dance. None of them ended up being national champions. The formula got busted. Yeah.
A la 2014 Yukon Huskies. And boy, this year would be a really savage busting because these five teams have been just absolutely infallible in this thing. And the question is, who would that team be? If I came to you from the future, I told you another team wanted. Who are the suspects? Well, trying to, trying to figure out the right right way to word this because here's your inside words. It would, because it would be shocking. It would be surprising if one of those five teams did not win. It would, right? I agree. But I don't know that I would be shocked that one of the teams that we, that you have on the outside looking in wins it. If that makes sense, like, the collection of all five of those teams losing, about getting bounced, I guess would be surprising. But would you be that stunned if one of those teams on the outside looking in won this thing? It would be okay. And I have a bet on you and I have a bet on Yukon. But I, I haven't liked what I've seen from them more recently since I made the bet. A lot of people will say Tom is oh, and Michigan stayed. I want to get to what Todd just
said is the team before I even, you know, the team he had in his championship game, losing to Florida is Wisconsin. The reason that I think Wisconsin's in Wisconsin is not even pictured on the outside looking in on that screen right there. And the reason that they're not pictured is because on the on the Kenpom numbers, Wisconsin doesn't come close on the defensive side of the ball. There are 11th adjusted offensive efficiency. Last I looked, but they're like 51st defencers. Yeah. So that's the issue with Wisconsin and why they don't appear on that screen in the watch list. But Wisconsin's three point shooting prowess is the key to that answer, right? Because it was sort over the weekend. They, they, they went ice cold for like half a get and then they just couldn't miss. But they, and what did Todd say? They have the two best wins in college basketball this year. So I think Wisconsin is top of the list of what's the team that you could because of
their profile is able to, you, you, you're able to imagine them winning games in a fashion over and over again. And that's the answer to me. It's Wisconsin. By the way, Wisconsin is 100 to one to win at all. But if the, if the goal of this exercise is what's the team from outside of those top five Duke Arizona, Michigan, Florida and Houston that could win this. I think Wisconsin is top of the list. No, you'd put them right at the top, but even over some of those other teams that we have and I have a bet on Yukon. Gonzaga again, right? They got the injury. We just talked about, I mean, there's a couple injuries on that list, right? Yeah. Yeah, Texas tech and them dealing with injuries. So that might, that might affect things. Yes, Texas tech, right? What's hoppin and Anderson, I think we'll play, but top and is done is, is out at least here, right? And so I don't, I just cannot, and I know a lot of people are iszo people. I just don't see this Michigan state team, you know, getting there, get Michigan state, really close to qualifying. 24th adjusted offensive
efficiency. 13th on D last, last I checked here when we updated this. So I mean, they almost qualify. So you'd think, well, Iowa state, Michigan state are the closest qualifying. It's not them. I don't, I don't buy it from either of those two teams. Illinois is another team right where they're second, where Illinois and Purdue are the best offensive teams in the country. Per Ken bomb. Can you see them having a Purdue after that big 10 tournament run? Some people would answer Purdue. It did our own Greg Peterson. He did. Yeah, Greg Peterson would say Purdue. I would tell you one team and you just brought Illinois. I feel like I haven't heard anybody say Illinois. And like they've been, I don't know, they've been right in this range for a while. He said, like you said, second best offense in the country, Ken Pobb numbers, seven, seven highest rated Kenbob team. Yeah, it should be right there. Do it Illinois one and two, right? Offense, Illinois Purdue one, two. So and by the way, Illinois has been one or two this whole time offense. I think it was tough for me. You could tell me if you think I brought like Michigan state Kansas,
they're a Michigan state in Gonzaga. I just feel like I've seen better Michigan state in Gonzaga teams. You asked for a few years. I believe you have. I believe you have. To me, the answer is Wisconsin. I really like it. Your answer is, I'll go, I'll go Illinois. We'll go Illinois. Okay. I don't think it's going to happen. Damn it. But again, in the interest of covering every possible question we can come up with, we'll do care is on a Michigan, Florida and Houston not get there if they don't who wouldn't be coming back. That's what you're doing for the World Baseball Classics, right? Oh, I like it. I see what you're doing. A little transitional thing. Before we transition to World Baseball Classic with Mark Barchard, Basewinner, you can just shout out folks hanging out here after the show, we're kind enough listeners to the show that hang out and say hello and some before the show. Kelly and I are always in a rush because our job doesn't work like most people's job. If we're not here when the show starts and nothing happens, we can't while he gag into our job three minutes late. So we all want to apologize to the people who are here beforehand. This morning, Mr. Krauss was here. He couldn't have been nicer. Couldn't have been nicer. I want to say hello to him. Thanks for hanging out. And then yesterday I missed our buddy from Detroit who apparently was sitting now outside the outside the studio. His head was turned. I didn't see his face and you said hi to him.
Yeah, we talked for a little bit before the show. That's great. Thanks for stopping by ran into a couple of people over the weekend as well. Dean, who is that? Rob yesterday from Detroit. Yes. So I apologize to Rob. He didn't say hi. But anyway, that happens before the show. Sometimes I want to want to shout these guys out. And yesterday, fairway Fred gave us the GAC baseball caps. Yeah. Well, thank you, fairway Fred. Missed him and his and his and his lovely cap and his lovely, better half there. Ladies and gentlemen, from an undisclosed location somewhere in the desert. It is the great Mark Bortrard. You know him as bass winner at basswinter basswinter.com. He hosts his own, we're not a host, but he's part of the bet US baseball podcast, which he does every day of the week. I think except for one during the regular season, he joins us now courtesy the progressive guest line. How you doing, Mark? I'm doing good, Gil. Yeah, every day, but Wednesday, Wednesday is my day off. But I have been, but not a day off in as far as research. I've always researched. He always coding. You know, you know, that that about me, Gil, but one thing that I've really loved about this spring training is, and I don't remember the WBC being this compelling,
but it has been compelling for me, Gil. And I've really kind of gotten into it. I just love the whole thing with with the espresso or not the nespresso, the espresso and espresso machine. Expressos, what they do when they hit a whole lump. But I guess they do use an espresso machine in the dugout. That's what they have. But that's been exciting. The whole, you know, loan depot park in Miami, you, you watch a game with the Marlins and it's kind of if lucky, it's quarter field, right? I've seen, I think I've seen games with a hundred fans here. Yeah. And it's just a completely different that that is wayla Dominican game. The first three, and he's if you guys haven't watched that, oh, that is just going to get you high on life. If you watch that first three, and he's because they were back and forth with each other in the fans, it was electric. It was electric in my living room. I mean, I can't imagine how it would be there if I was at the game. It's so great. I also hope, by the way of Venezuela comes from behind a two to one deficit yesterday against Italy to beat Italy and Venezuela advances to the final tonight against the United States. Venezuela has to play a back-to-back. I don't know why they scheduled
this way this way. The United States gets an extra day of rest. Mason Miller may not be available tonight. We shall see. I think he's the last 68 batters he's faced. He's retired if I'm not mistaken. That's pretty good. Just ridiculous. So what was I going to say about this now? I hope before we get in your play because you have a play tonight in this game between the US and Venezuela. I hope that what you're talking about, right? The excitement comes from the fact that those cultures rejoice in great moments on the field openly and outwardly. And for the entire history of baseball in the United States, if anything, the pendulum was all the way on the other side, where you were taught to play the game a certain way, Mark. And if you ever broke these unwritten rules, um, celebration being top of the list, God forbid you do that. We will be knew in the next that back kind of thing. I hope that that changes. Do you think it will for Major League Baseball? Oh, I'm with you. That's a really good observation, Gil, because in fact, last night,
Gita was like, I'd love to do a bat flip, but I'm going to get being, right? Oh, there's nothing like a good bat flip. And you remember the best bat flip for me. And then they showed a bunch of the, oh, Joey bats in the place. Oh, that was really, really good. So I, I'm with you on that. Yes, let's celebrate. It's a fun game, right? I mean, I'm all about that. I just thought the, the, the, the, you know, the passion, you know, talk about, you know, they talk about soccer, beautiful game. I agree with that, but there's passion and soccer. But if you watch those first three innings of that, that, that goes to any World Cup game. I'll, I'll compare it to that, Gil. So yeah, I'm with you on that. Yeah. I just, I, I, we got to change that. It really is just it's, it's, and I'm, I'm also with like, let's do, uh, the automatic break system in there, uh, ball strike system. Yes. And that was that, that was what a, what a lousy way to lose a game for the Dominican. Uh, I guess that we're all, I mean, we're all rooting for the, for the USA, but that was a terrible way to win it with that cold. It was, it was just awful. And, and
smolts and Joe Davis, they didn't say anything until they came back like two minutes later, and smolts kind of sheepishly said something. He kind of played it down, but like, I mean, be aggressive on that. You can see it in the booth, I guess. But I don't know. It was, it was, I agree with you. It was played down. They should have been like, why, how can you lose a game like this? Right? What's your, what's your play tonight in the championship game? You know, I'd like Venezuela. Uh, I think either way, if you want to play it on the money line, I'm giving, uh, Venezuela 37.8 implied probability. So that's plus 165. And you can get it in market at plus, uh, 220. So that's a good play. I think the better play, this is more of an edge at 11.4% edge. You've got, uh, Venezuela plus one and a half. And my fair line is, uh, my fair lady, my fair line is minus 135. The, uh, the market line is plus 117. And I, this is good because we talked about, hey, the handicap this couple of weeks ago, and it was just really hard because, but this game's not as difficult because you have two guys with really
good body work in the starters. Um, I did kind of pun a little bit on this. So, so everything explained. I did give the, the bowl pins about the same rating and, and you might roll your eyes at that. But yeah, Venezuela, those, those, those seven, eight, nine guys were, were lights out. And they're good. So, um, and but I think that US has about a run advantage in the, uh, the offense. So I used all that in the components. I, I think taking Venezuela on the run line is probably the way to go full game. Venezuela on the run line. That way you can still root for your team and have them win by one. And you can still win the bet. There you go. And it thread. I'm telling. There you go. That's what I'm gonna have. Uh, okay. I don't know if you know this, Mark. Major league baseball. Giants Yankees in eight days. Oh boy. We're about there. We're so into the madness. By the way, do you feel out of bracket? Or do you just ignore the whole thing? Just curious. You know, I, I've been totally big time down on my brackets. So I haven't been able to do it. But I, I'm not really, I feel like I'm not missing out. You know, the college sports just since they went to the, uh, the, the licensing agreement for these kids. And it's great for the kids. I think that,
that's good for the students. They should get paid. But it's terrible for a fan. You can't really even follow a team because you've got guys coming in from, you know, the Italian league that are 27 years old. So it's like, yeah, for me, I'm not really that upset about it. Plus, you got WBC and like you said, the season starts. I like that you're in your baseball lab. This is why we have you on. Okay. So let's, let's think of something we haven't gotten to yet because you were kind enough to come on and give us a whole bunch of season longs last week. We put it on the podcast as well. Um, how about exact as I know you love these in previous years. Some one, two's per division. What did you end up with? Benning wise. Okay. So let me, let me go ahead and get to get up on the screen. And I'll, I'll start with kind of the way it, it, it, it plays out. These are draft King's odds. So, uh, draft King starts with the AL East and they have Yankees Blue Jays as the favorite. I disagree with that. I think it should be Blue Jays Yankees. I've got that price at plus 403. You can get it at plus 600. And then the AL Central, uh, their favorite is
Detroit, Kansas City plus 330. Uh, I have it the other way around. I think it should be Kansas City Detroit. Uh, my fair money line plus 298. You can get that at plus 475. And just from a time standpoint, Gil, we'll do the, uh, the AL West and that'll, and then the National League guys, if you follow me, you'll be able to get those all those National League exact as two. So, uh, they have Seattle Houston plus 260. And that's exactly what I have as well. But I think it should be 47% plus 112, Gil. So those are the three American League plays that I like in the exact market. All right. Blue Jays Yankees in the East, Royals Tigers in the Central. Blue Jays Yankees pays six to one. Royals Tigers place plus 475. And you like the Mariners Astros as the short shot at what plus 260 issue said as well. Plus 260. Yeah. Yeah. I think it should be for giggles. Give us one National League exact. Oh, okay. My favorite exactive Dodgers D backs, uh, plus 147 is my,
my odds. And I think it's a plus 450 right now. All right. We did give that one last one. Give us one more. Give us one more. Uh, no way. No way. No way. No, that's it. Gotta watch. You gotta go to basswinter.com or follow him at this bet US show for more next week. We'll do some, uh, make Miss playoffs because we'll still be one day before the season starts. So make Miss playoffs next week. Yes. That'll be cool. Yeah. Okay. Can hardly wait. Can hardly wait for the season. Can hardly wait for the World Baseball Classic Final. Tonight, Gil. Venezuela plus one and a half tonight just shy of being an American for Mark Borgia, just shy of being an American. Thank you, Mark. Thanks, Gil. My pleasure. Coming back more college hoops. What price would you need on the field to bet against your top five? Oh, man, I would need a massive price. You know, I just, I would need a big and not to speed us along, but we do. We got Danny put together some great props. We found I got so excited about one of these and it's kind of like that. Yeah. Go over and of course, these prices just move. I'd have to math it out, but yes. That's how you was just you would, you would have enjoyed watching me last night, mapping all of this out. I was like, I've got a great bet. And then of course, the price moved today like 50 cents. Mark Hansen and Mark Hansen 82. I don't think it's going to happen either, but I got Wisconsin at 251 in pocket. Go Bucky.
Chance copper prod. Oh, chance. I was thinking this in my head the whole time, but I didn't want to interrupt him. He said, I have to call out Todd for saying Gonzaga. They're not the zogs. They're the zags. How is this genius up? How is this genius up 175 units? Love the badgers. Take toddy and safe travels back to the cork addict. Yeah. Gonzaga. There's at least two or three times in my head. I'm like, should I correct them or not? I'll just let him go. Nemesis enforcer. Maybe why it was being respectful to the weight loss progress, Kelly. Maybe conversely to a boss I had who was grossly overweight and would hear peeps talking about cutting back on stacks and proceed to bring in two boxes of donuts the next day, a special kind of evil. Yeah. There's that Matthew Mayberry Kelly. I feel like no one is picking Illinois. He says, quote, unquote, I feel like no one is picking Illinois. Then Veson cuts to commercial break during the break. The Veson host says Illinois to make the final four or beyond is a great bet. Perfect timing. That's great. Oh, here's a little Miami tennis info.
Daniel Medvedev, who is lost in the finals, third loss in the finals at Indian Wells, this time to a center, first two, first two times to Carlos Algrés. Daniel Medvedev just tweeted at United Airlines. He said, hi, United. I need a little help. I flew from Palm Springs to Florida yesterday and none of my bags arrived. Kind of need them to play in the Miami open. Can you help Brian M. Wow. Was kind enough to alert this alert us of this. He's asking instant fade and Zach Cohen, our buddy, Zachary Cohen, who he tagged says legitimately thinking as a chance to win the title and now this is bugging me out. Yeah. What are these guys going to fly in private? I guess to Neil Medvedev, to Neil's like 10 a second out there, man. 10 a secondomics. He's he should be fine. I don't know why he's not. We're talking about a top 10, I mean, 10 player, right, to be safe. Also, top five ish. Also, did he get the United Airlines tag correctly? I don't think he did.
I don't think he did. I don't think he did. He tweeted it like United health care. Wait, let me see what he did. Did he get it? Oh, no, he did. He tweeted it correctly. United Airlines is that United. Oh, it did. Neil. Yeah, why isn't. That's a great question. You just asked why why isn't he flying private? It's not like he's the 50th player in the world. Okay, and especially from the locations we're talking about, right? Like it's, I mean, okay, and if you get deep in that one tournament, you want to get there as quickly and as painlessly as possible. That too. Yeah. But I mean, I you've flown in and out of there much more than I have going to Indian Wells for like, is there? I would assume that's just a ton of private jets around that event ready to go 100% that's what it is. Yes, I have no idea. I think that would be easier to organize a ride there than almost anywhere else. We should try doing the same. We should tag you and I'd be like, Hey, I want to play in the, I'm playing the Miami Open 2. Where's my back? Where's my tennis racket? I didn't work at these airlines, man. Todd was just trying to get from LA to Vegas the last night on Delta. They just cancel the flight. They're like, you can go tomorrow morning.
He's like, no, I can't. It's crazy. It is. Remember one of the last times I went to visit my mom, I was going to DC from here on American. Remember this one? I got, we boarded and deplained not once, but twice and only left here 10 hours after the fact and they lied to us multiple times about it. And I was doing this to deal with that thing. I was tagging American. They couldn't care less. Yeah. I just kind of deal with it. J. Rod absolutely lost it when Todd gave you the business about needing a tennis match to only one point to beat him. Epic Megapod Todd Megapod is so entertaining with these, with these guys, especially Todd, of course. Will Hill, Jeff Parley. Brian M. Edts, I mean, Medvedev is so level headed. He should be fine. I guess. Yes. That's the wrong person for that to happen to. They've volatile to Neil Medvedev back to the, back to March madness and the big dance. As we like to call it, will a 12 to 16 seed win a first round game? Will a 12 to 16 seed win a first
round game? And this is specifically each seeded number. Yeah, these are available at Caesars. And so you can see with a 16 seed, the yes price is 22 to one. The no is minus 8,000. Again, you know, you're asking for a historic upset. Would I play the yes at 22 to one? I would not. So the first one that jumped out to me on here, Gil, was the, there's a lot of these four seats that I do like. So I kind of went and just start, you know, as we would normally go do the math, right? Do the money lines here and figure out if this is worth playing or not before he even kind of consider it. Well, um, they had that and I was like, whoa, you're getting a good price on this minus 185. Yeah, it's moved like 40 cents. You're talking about the four seeds. Yeah, we'll 13 seed winning first round game. No, minus 185. The minus 185 was a good price. It's now like minus two 25. Oh, I got all excited. I was looking at these time. I like this group of
four seats like Arkansas. We've heard a ton of heard a ton of good things about from a lot of people. I'm high on them. Alabama's got their worries, right? Now they're missing another player, but still I think they're going to be able to take care of Hofstra and Nebraska. A four seed is as well in Kansas, a four seed that I'm pretty high on. So I was like, that was where I first went to and I was like, man, actually, I've got a bet here. Went to go make it this morning. Yeah, move like 50 says. I mean, who's the one, two, three or four that's going to lose? I guess the case people will make his Alabama now without Holloway against Hofstra, but I don't know. I think they still beat Hofstra, even without Holloway. That's kind of my thought too. Wait, you got to get down to a 12, like a five, no, 12, five. All right, who's the fives? St. Johns? The fives are the five 12s are St. Johns, Northern Iowa. I mean, a lot of people, I like myself, I have Northern Iowa plus the points, but I don't think they're going to upset the jotties, right? Um, McNeese and Vanderbilt, haven't heard a single person pick. Like that one.
Oh, Akron, Texas, Wisconsin high point, new, Akron, Texas, excuse me, Texas tech and Akron. Yeah, that's the one. That's the one. But okay, but then if that's the point, then you just play Akron. That was, by the way, that's Kelly's way of agreeing with me. Yeah, that's what he said, or like you bet two of them, right? And if you, if you thought there was maybe a chance, like I've heard some high point bets this week, you know, yes, that's high point, taking the points. But still, maybe you want to go with those two, you just bet those two money lines. Yeah. Um, let's do this by conference. So you can bet them by conference as well, right? This is to ultimately win the national championship conference odds, converts to win tournament odds. The big 12 is the dog, excuse me, is the short shot, pardon me, the big 12 at plus 205. Let's just take this one. Let's do the math on this, okay? The big 12, you're talking about Arizona, Houston, Kansas, Texas, tech, Iowa state,
then probably drops off, right? I don't know if anybody thinks anybody besides those five could win it. But Arizona, Houston, Kansas, Texas, tech, Iowa state, that group of five, I did the math, comes out to 36, you're getting, you're not getting good price. In other words, you're getting the big 12, the plus 205 is like what, 32.8%. It should be 36%. You should be getting a better, you should be getting better bang for your buck on that because I got 36% on those five alone. So it's, you're not getting a good number here. And you, you might be able to say, yeah, but you have those other teams. I don't think any of other teams, other teams have a, have a chance. I just, these kinds of things typically like the big 12 number are not what they should be in terms of your bang for your buck. Yeah, I'm just even trying to, as incremental as that difference is 32% versus 36%, but still, right, you should get a better number. And I,
I just think you're better off playing the one or two teams that you think actually will get there. They got like West Coast conference rate, like there's, can zag a 60 to one. So you're getting what, same Mary's, that brings it down to 50. So maybe, maybe that one has better. And Santa Clara, thank you, Danny. So yeah, maybe, but like, you know, what's really, what, what, what, how much championship echo did you really give those teams, right? Right. I don't know. These are, I mean, there's a fun to talk about, but the math doesn't always work out on these. I think you could do the same thing by region as well, right? East plus 250 Midwest plus 250 West plus 260 South plus 310. Do you know anybody who plays these? No, this one I find a little bit more interesting, though, because you're always going to be alive, not final four. Well, not all these one seeds are created. Oh, no, I like, and I think there's other good teams out east. I actually think that one's
a little interesting. I just think in a year where you're so top heavy, though, well, again, just pick the team. You think it's going to win it between them? Yeah. Kind of thing. Not to poo poo on some of these are more credible than others. We just want to point it out. Recap of the bets next. The average cost of a D wine, Virginia is $11,352.47. Well, though, we'll find out the answer to the, I'll ask you on air again. Don't. I want to ask, I ask you quite on air questions that should be asked off here, but he gets, he gets every day I'm going to ask him, is he going to answer the problem? I think I have a different answer for you. Oh, I think yes. Yes. Yeah. I think we're good to play in the, yes, the reason one. I think we're allowed. Okay. All right. Is it the same as last year? I don't want to bring a, I want to say someone in the back told me this morning, someone in the back, but I don't want to get them in trouble too. In case I'm wrong. Yeah. Maybe I should just text the people in charge here, get my own answer. Yeah. Yeah. Probably. I do that. I do that. Let's oh, you know, one more thing before we recap the bets. You know what this, I always think about
we love March Madness so, but you know, I don't know how this got in my head. Oh, I know I did, because the play in games tonight, sorry, the first four, sorry people. Um, it's on true TV. So it's our annual pilgrimage to find out where true TV is. They still have the impractical jokers. Is that their big show still on true TV or do they move? Oh, I think that I will find out you find out every year. We'll find out. This is Zach Cohen's network, right? True TV. Yeah. It doesn't need it. It's all he watches. Oh, that's right. It's all he watches. He's a big and practical joker. He's like, I love the impractical jokers true TV. Guy got in trouble or whatever, right? It was so bad. I shouldn't be loud. Oh, I don't remember the story. Yeah. We found out Zach loved impractical jokers then like the star got in trouble like the next day. The star got in trouble the next day. That's right. That's exactly right. Okay. So first time anybody had ever talked about the show ever in the history of television. That's right. Well, the other. So I thought about it because it's on true TV tonight. And then I thought to myself, oh, this is also the, uh, when they go to 32, right? So after
Thursday and Friday, we're all very excited to watch the round of 32 on Saturday and Sunday, where I still, I don't know if you were, I think you remember this too. But back in the day, it was like the fantastic finishes in the round of 32. And now we go in in apples and now we go to date. And now we go to all of them. They were fantastic finishes. But the round of 32 is always a bummer to me now because we bring this up every year. There's that agreement which runs through 2032 extended from 2024, by the way, and uh, it started first was 2016, then they extended in 2024 every eight years stipulates that the same number of windows are provided to CBS as before, although unlike with the previous schedule, where all games in a window started within 10 minutes of each other, resulting in the possibility of multiple close games ending at once, the start times of games now on CBS TBS TNT and true TV are staggered with action lasting later into the night and fewer simultaneous games than the previous format. The tournament's new
TV deal will allow for more staggered starts of games. So all those buzzer beaters aren't happening at the same time. But that's what we loved about it. Yeah. Now we now we have to like remember like the first game is standalone. And you're like, oh god, what's the next? Yeah, you just want it. Yeah, I'm waiting. And then it's only like two more games and you're like, come on, come on. Can we play more? So that's that's the annoying part of 32. See, I found something negative about March, man. I'm the guy found something. No, I know, I'm completely with you. It's it's it's it's a complete buzz because you already have to adjust to their being less games, right? The first two days are just amazing, right? You're just it's an avalanche of action, right? Yes, yes. And then you get to Saturday and you're like, all right, I already got to like I've got to prepare mentally prepared. It's not going to be as much. And then that happens. And you're like, all right, like why is there not a game on right now, especially for those of us who like were on the discord following Todd, you know, playing a million games at one time. Yeah, now we're like, really can't do more than two here. Uh, here are the bets today. I am on three. The women's side is beginning in the Miami Open, the second half of the sunshine double,
which closes the first part of the hard court season here before we go to Europe clay. I'm on a Magdalena Frecht today versus McCartney Kessler. The number now is better than the one I got. At least it was at the top of the show. I'll check now. I got plus one 14. I saw plus one 35 earlier this morning. So I got the, I got the worst of this one. But I am on Frecht, like her, like her hard court numbers here against against Kessler at a dog price. Fairly even hard court numbers between the two. Frecht, I'm seeing right now at plus one three. So it's coming back a little bit to us. Still better now than I got it last night. For subscribers at visa.com slash picks Anna Blinkova plus one 35 versus Sofia Canon. As I fade another American. I don't know what I'm doing. Really? And then I'm going to play Venice away with it. I plus one and a half. Better not blink because it's over. Varvara Gricheva plus one 17 versus Magdalena is the third play. That is maybe a couple pennies better
now than it was then. Only a couple pennies. That's kind of the same price. Do you think Varvara Gricheva goes by Vavs as a Barbarra would go by Babs? Oh, maybe not. Okay. Kelly. Oh, you rode the Venezuela. Is that what you're doing? I'm in Venezuela. Yeah. Catcher run and a half plus one 25. Let's go. I would trust Mr. Borscher's numbers. And yeah, like you said, kill. Well, the USA can win. Win by one. I laid the points with the Thunder tonight. They are on the road at the Orlando Magic who have been playing some great basketball, but three and four back to back situation for them off of a loss against Atlanta last night. Okay, see, looking about his healthy as they've been in a long time, we'll be playing them tonight laying laying a lot of points on the road, but thought that was still a little white. So okay, see laying nine on the road at or land. Oh, just a couple other NBA notes quick. No Drew said he was betting heat hornets
did have this on my radar earlier, bam at a bio downgraded to doubtful for that game tonight. He was questionable earlier. So not looking good there in that game. And then we oh, boy, gil, some of the tanking teams today. Look at this. The Indiana Pacers. Look at this. We show this guy. Ryan doing a great job putting this down. This is their entire roster kill. And by questionable, we mean we'll do whatever we want to do with him. Look at that. There are four players. They don't have tags. Neymar Neesmith, Toppins, Zubats, McConnell, Shepard, Quinn Jackson, Potter, Slauson, Peter, Ethan Thompson, all questionable Pascal, Seattle, Seattle. Okay. And then the only the only players without designations. Jerse Walker, Jay Huff, Kobe Brown and Cam Jones. What a league. Okay, let's go on to another game. How about the pistons and wizards, Gil, where the wizards have just been flooding my phone here recently with their own injury reports, because we now have Kishan George out, Trey Young out, Bologna, Bolly out, Alex Saur out, Leaky Black out. All for that game tonight,
the Detroit pistons have moved to 20 point favorites. It's funny how all those injuries coincide with you know, them trying to get a better draft. I'm enjoying how all these tanking teams, I don't know if I didn't meant to text you. Chicago had a couple there. Guys go into the knife yesterday. Oh, man, whether it's Utah or Chicago, these cluster just surgeries that have to happen or just wild. We're up three units and take a blues to take a blues. It resumes tomorrow on the show. Looking forward to that. I'm with I don't really. I laid the points with the thunder, like, look, I think you could include thunder money line and parlaying with some of these other teams. I don't think I'm doing that tonight, though, either. I think I like you. I'm sitting on the sidelines. By the way, I do have four college basketball plays that I have made ATS. I took northern Iowa plus the points versus St. John's. I took Santa Clara plus four and a half versus Kentucky. I took Akron plus seven and a half versus Texas tech. And in the play in tomorrow night, I did take Miami, Ohio plus the touchdown. Oh, okay. Yeah, I did. I'm going to be on I think a couple of those with you. Jake Han was on earlier. He talked golf and hockey with
his hockey. He's on the Bruins, Canadians under six and a half. By the way, I left out a couple Bruins, Canadians, Stanley Cup final 19. Please continue. 1946 and 1930. I counted seven total 19. Oh, four 18. 83 16. 42. I believe in James. Jets over the predators from Jake Han. Oilers and regulation or on the puck line versus the sharks tonight. And then the Valspar championship, Jake Han coming off his Cameron Young win at the player's championship. He's on he's on tube. Two guys in the Valspar championship. He's on Rio. His at Sunay at 55 to one and Brooks Capca 33 to one. I did bet Rio outright yesterday as well. So I'll have my full card tomorrow, but he is he is on my outright card. Maddy Cox and I T tonight. He's on South Alabama catching 18 versus Auburn. And then a play in Prairie view plus three and a half versus Lehigh. That one is tonight or tomorrow. How's it going tomorrow? That one's tomorrow. God sakes. That's the game between the 68th and 67 seeds. And then UCLA and UCF is the only
first round game that Matt Cox from three man. We've made a ATS play on. He's laying the five with the Bruins in that one. So there you go with that. Also on the show today Drew Dinsick. He's on the heat tonight plus three and a half at the Hornets. And he did play one Miami Open Future Victorian Boko at 18 to one on the lady side. I like that price. I like that play. I like it. Indeed. Maybe I'll have a future by tomorrow. And Tony Wischneff his final for Michigan State Florida Wisconsin and Michigan and his national champion is Florida. He's got Wisconsin in the finals. And he's got NC State in the Elinate. Mark Bort your Venezuelan plus one and a half tonight versus USA. AL East Exacto Blue Jays Yankee six to one central exact in the AL Royals Tigers plus four seventy five and the West Exacto Mariners Astros plus two sixty. Enjoy from these.
