X of channel 158 kill Alexander Kelly Midland producer number nine. So much more than a producer show brought to you as always by profit. And can I say as always now two days? And you're sure for at least for now. Yeah, as always by profit X, um, we get tweets, beating the book. Our fortune standing by we get tweets. Be the book. Uh, let's see. This is John Balducci. This is a great tweet. He says, this morning I was shaperoning my son's field trip to the Susan B. Anthony home in Rochester, New York, where I saw the original desk where Susan wrote the briefs
and the opinions that change the world. And I'm thinking I wonder what the NBA brain dead Parley of the day is. Thank you, John. I'm sure Susan would be proud. Well done. You know, it jumped out to me with that. Thank you. I've talked about this before. Yeah, dated a girl from Rochester. Did you with like the most extreme Rochester accent ever? There's a Rochester accent tough accent. Oh, yeah, yeah, that, that northern. Yeah, New York accent. There's a lot of northeast. Rochester's tough. Philly's tough. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that's family here. We hear Pittsburgh from Todd all the time. Jason H 11. There's nothing like that's a great tweet, John, by the way. Jason H 11. There's nothing like here in the discord. Bing go off and scramble to get the pick from Todd and then try to get on the sportsbook app and get the bed in while driving or at the dentist or in the checkout line, et cetera, life is good. Oh, we can all relate to that.
I'll be walking and then it'll come up. And then I'm always cognizant or not cognizant enough of where I'm standing because people will be by the way. Hey, get out of the way, buddy. I'm like, hey, just making a bed over here. So there's that. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. It's the, it's the, I don't allow it to overwhelm me. I have the, I have the Todd things going off of my phone all the time too. And if I, if I'm in a comfortable spot, I can get to them. I get to them. Otherwise, yeah, I don't crash the car. Be careful. New York mess 16. If anyone knows the thing about overacting as an extra, it'd be the great Kelly Bidlin. Oh, that's a great point. That's a great point. I should have given Chris some tips today. Kelly Bidlin. Kelly Bidlin, who famously in the Vieson promo from a couple years back of Bill 80, writing the newsletter overacted with a, with a way to aggressive head nod. He'll had one line. I had zero lines. I was just told to nod in agreement. And we had to take like four, we had to do like four takes because I was told I was too aggressively nodding. Yeah. It's like Kelly seriously.
Which now, like ever, I don't know about you every time I see it, though, I still see myself aggressively nodding. So maybe Rob just edited the wrong version. Chance Copperbot. I'm with you, Gilly. I bet the spurs on Christmas too. I just did it slightly different paired with this live field goal attempt, which I was betting separately anyway, 88 to one to win at all. What do you have a field goal attempt? Oh, come on. You'll just stuff you do all the time. You know, you throw in an NBA future with a, uh, just a live, uh, field goal attempt and then 49ers game or something. I was going to say field goal attempt and the cowboy skins game that day. Yeah, you don't remember that one. That one field goal attempt. I remember the game. Bill Hooker. I had several season-long baseball bets hit early last year. Bet 365 and ESPN bet paid immediately FY. Oh, in other words, those two bet, those two books, I think he's saying, paid them as soon as they went over. Didn't wait to grade to the end of the season. Bet 365 ESPN bet interesting. Wait for which, for which sports baseball he's talking about. Interesting. Yeah, I'd be waiting for some of these NBA, uh, NBA win totals.
The account would be nice. That'd be nice if they worked that way always. Ladies and gentlemen, speaking of season longs, Mark Bortchert joins us now to discuss that for major league baseball. You can follow him on Twitter at basewinner, basewinner.com is where he does all of his handicapping. And he's part of a bet US baseball podcast, which is every day of the week with the exception. I believe of Wednesday, which is when he joins us. Is that true for this year? Mark as well. No, we're doing Tuesday. We're doing Tuesday. Today's Tuesday. That's right. Once again, I get bumped with it. Is that when I get bumped, which is about half the time, and then I go to Wednesday, my day off, but you know, I'll do anything for you again. Wow, no problem. Wow. Okay, man. I know we talked about this before, but MLB draft. You're very happy with your draft that you had here in the futures draft. Yeah, I thought it was really good, but I mean, I'm biased because it's my draft, but I thought, you know, I think a lot of people have a pretty good opportunity to win that.
And I was thinking about this. And I think that there's probably going to be somebody that hits like a 15, 20 or more. Somebody's going to win that way. Yeah. And there's this. So I don't even know if it would be who viewed even better on the favorites in this moving forward. But it's exciting because I think with all these awards, you know, what we have, what 12 Si Young guys for each league are 10, are some are 10 12 Si Young guys for each league. You think somebody's what if we can't hit one of the can you imagine it? Can you imagine that's right? 10 guys in a draft in these categories. What if like somebody else, you know, wins not among the 10 of our players? I can imagine the the the the the vialness of the tweets. Oh, how are they? How do these guys? Oh, they're nothing, but stuff shirts. I got a stuff shirt, Gil. I would I've never been called a stuff shirt. Well, you're already. You're a person. You know, they can tell me my place. They can tell me the I don't know what I'm talking about.
I don't care because I know what I do. But when they call me a stuff shirt, that that really hit hit me. I mean, I was someone call you someone called you a stuff. You had a you had a guy you had a guy tweet. And I was listening to the show. Yeah, you had a guy tweet. Oh, you and Matt Brown were the lively ones. The other guys were a bunch of stuff. Sure. So I said guys, have they ever heard me rap? I mean, these guys are getting the wrong impression. Right. If you ever heard the guy rap for God's sakes, it's not a stuff shirt. Not only that, you quoted Jensen's career stats during the draft. You were not a stuff shirt at all. Well done. I did. And I want to correct myself because it was 14 saves and five blown saves. But what I didn't do is I get I didn't give him his holds. He also had 14 holds. 14, but you know, I mean, but you can't get his pissed off of the guy. Like if you bet on him and the guy gets holds the game for you. Can't get like if he saves a game and you you bet a you bet against him, then you're going to be really mad at him. So it just happens that, you know, every time I bet against the Indians, he saved the game and every time I bet on the Indians, he blew the save.
So I was trying to tell him that. But so I don't think he took it too, too, too, too good. Not a stuff shirt. It was a very quiet, it was a very quiet response in that room, wasn't it? It's a little awkward. I agree with you. All right, for sure. But I have something, you know, I want to talk up this, their show prior to yours. This is the best show on Veecent. Of course, I'm the best guest on Veecent. Not just kidding. There's much better guest on Veecent. But this is the best show. The voice of Swords betting. Anyway, going back to the show that precedes this, Jensen and, yeah, Jensen and Dave Ross do a good, good job. And they had CJ Knit Kowski on last Tuesday. And this is before the, I felt bad because it's just right before that, Jerkson Profars, not so good, right? Profars so good, Profars not so good. Anyway, it was a really good breakdown. I think it was a two segment spot with CJ Knit Kowski, who does the color for the television. And really broke that, that braves team down. And there's something that I took from that.
And I ran a simulation based on it. And so I'll get into that. That's a, that's a stolen base market that I think is a pretty awesome bet. So, okay, let's hold that. Let's start with American League MVP, Aaron Judge, no surprise, plus two 25, the short shot, trying to win his third in a row here from that mistake and third in a row. Bobby with junior plus 550 Cal, Raleigh plus 850, who, who just missed out on it last year. And then everybody else, double digits, beginning with Julio and Vlad Guerrero at 13 to 1. What are you thinking here? Well, I think this is a pretty amazing market. And you know, some people are looking for like big payouts. So I do have a couple big payouts in this. But I always do a group of five for some of these awards. It's basically, you know, allocating a certain amount of a bet percentage to five guys, which I like to do. It keeps me involved throughout the season. And so I could give you the money breakdown. But I think that would be a little bit too technical.
I'll just give you the five guys that you can get for even money, Gil. How's that? Okay. Go on. So you can get judge, Courts, Julio, Caminero, and Ben Rice. And if you bet it correctly with 200 bucks in your allocates your funds, it's a plus 103 payout. So even money on those five guys, I can't pass that up. It's the Mark Borscher base winner bucket method. Give us the five guys again. Aaron Judge, Courts, Julio, that's J-rod for everybody. Not the J-rod that tweets who I really like on your show. It's our guy. Caminero Caminero and Rice. So those five guys. Okay, those five guys for American League MVP. How about Si Young Awards? We'll skip Shohei and the NL Si Young. How about Si Young's? Let's start with the American League. What are you doing with that? Well, you know what I'm doing with this because I bet against you. I'm taking Scooble out. Scooble is your Si Young for that league.
That's who you bet on the futures. But I went with Crochet, Cole Ragens, Jacob DeGrom, Hunter Brown, and E of Aldi. So the odds for Crochet plus 450, Ragens is 17 to 1, DeGrom, 14 to 1, Brown, 13 to 1, E of Aldi, 40 to 1. You put that in a group and you bet it, allocating the right percentages. It's plus 150 if one of those guys hit in that group, Gil. Crochet DeGrom, Reagan's, Hunter Brown, and Nathan E of Aldi. The group of five from Mark and his bucket method here. How about National League, Si Young? Oh, this is one of my favorites because it's, what is it? My second spot of the year. And I get to say Yamo B there. So Yamo is going to be my first guy. And then Christopher Sanchez from the Phillies. Chris Sale, who's my Si Young on the future show. You guys all like this and they were, people were pissed at each other that the guy took,
and somebody took this one in front of another guy, Logan Webb. Yes. And then Mizorowski from from Milwaukee. That is group odds of plus 136, Gil. So no schemes, but instead Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Christopher Sanchez, Chris Sale, Logan Webb and Jacob Mizorowski, the bucket of five for National League, Si Young. What does that pay? That is a plus 136 group bet, Gil. Plus 136 group bet for those five guys. Hey, good. Yeah, it was Jeff Erickson from Pro Points, who took Logan Webb for Si Young. And me, I think humans and somebody else were all like, I believe I said out loud, I hate you. I believe it was what I said. I had Logan Webb for most wins. That's how I bet Logan Webb. More with Bortchert on the other side, base winner, including that steals category. Next on a numbers game right here at Visa. You're here because you want an edge. Gill Alexander, Kelly Bidlett, here as well. Mark Bortr, kind enough to join us for a second segment, going through some season-long thoughts in Major League Baseball, not thoughts, but bets as well in various markets. Mark, the bet US show that you do four times a week where can people access that easiest? Just go to the Twitter. That's the easiest one because we're changing platforms. We're going to be on a platform called Rumble this year. That's where the live stream is going to originate. But you can get it on Twitter. I'm going to tweet it out every morning. And I think I go up against your show. So you can, if you want to listen to me
and then Gill, you can. If you want to listen to Gill and then me, you have my permission to do it either way. Okay. Hey, we're sports fans. We're all good at switching back and forth between commercials. The one thing that I will say about R show is that the last maybe 15 minutes of the show are questions and answers. That's my favorite part of the show. Because you know, I can go on and on about executives or whatever. Whatever I'm going to go on about stolen bases, which I will. But it's all about what the people want to listen to. So that's really, I think, a really good part of the show. The interactivity at the end of it. You did say rumble is what you're going to be on, right? Not something else. He's a rumble. Yeah, it's called rumble. It's a streaming platform. So that's what we're doing this year. I used to be like in high school or junior high when like groups as kids from different schools. When we get in a big fight, we used to call it rumble. That's right. That's right. A rumble. Okay, you just mentioned the word exacta. I asked this a spory yesterday. I'm curious your thoughts. Because you always have specific thoughts in the National League West. So everybody going to go with the Dodgers number one.
What's your one two in the NOS? I like Dodgers Dbacks, 39.4% of the time to be exact. And it should be like plus 154. So if we get better than that, and I didn't have the odds. So I apologize for not having the odds better than plus 154. Oh, well, that's great. So I can interest you in plus 400 then. Oh, yeah, absolutely. That's a great bet. I think the diamondbacks are going to be sneaky, sneaky, maybe playoffs. And so I think that the one two, I agree with that, that part of the model of 40% and plus 400. That's, that's great. That's great. Mark, of course, comes to us from an undisclosed location. Somewhere in the desert might be close to the Arizona diamondbacks. But that's an interesting bet because no, I mean, look, even the season wind total market tells you that Padres aren't supposed to be as good. Giants are going to be kind of meh, right? 83 and a half, 81 and a half respectively. And then it's the diamondbacks closely tucked into that. Yeah, you and I talked about some of those matchbacks earlier. I'm just looking at these now Dodgers,
Padres, one, two is minus one 10 Dodgers, Giants, three to one Dodgers, diamondbacks, four to one. Geez. And we just, we just saw a head to heads. We were talking about season wind head to heads. And the Padres against the diamondbacks, the Padres were like minus, what were they? Minus three, 70 or something like that? Yeah, get checked. Minus three, something. And the diamondbacks were plus two, 60 coming back. That's a clear bet on the diamondbacks, right? Oh, that's pretty good, Gil. I think, you know, interestingly enough, I have the diamondbacks rated ahead, like from a cumulative standpoint, this is what drives the simulations. It's just combined runs, scored projected, minus runs allowed projected. And the diamondbacks are ahead of both of those teams. So like, I mean, based on just logic, if it's even money, you're betting diamondbacks and you're getting, what'd you say, plus two, 60? What a cool market that is. Where can you get that one at? Draft Kings. Yeah, that's a good one. That's what Kelly does with his days. He scours Betty Martin. That's right. So what do you want? This producer might have some longevity.
We might indeed be around for a little while. Let's go to Stolen bases. You were very excited. All the things I would imagine you'd be excited about, Stolen bases would not have been my prediction, but here we are. What do you like here? Yeah, this was super cool. And in Cigina Kowski, really great breakdown of Ronald D'Acunia, and he actually went into how many bases he's stolen in Winter Ball. And he was 11 of 11, and interestingly enough, if you're watching World Baseball Classic Nicaragua game, which I'm watching last night, Acunia steals a base in the first inning. I thought that was a sign, but the Braves have brought in a new first base coach. He's very aggressive, and his name is Antoine Richardson. And I think that's going to play into this market. And I simulated this now based on Stolen bases per plate appearances over the last three years. I ran a simulation, just not even taking that into account. And remember, Acunia stole 73 bases in 2023.
And anyway, my simulations came out to Acunia 16.6% of the time is going to win that market. That would be plus 501 from a money line standpoint. You can get them at 22 to 1. That's my favorite future of the year. I think that that's just such a good price. 25 to 1 is what we're showing here on screen, courtesy of Draft Kings. I'm curious with the injuries, you don't think that they'll pair back on that at all with him. Well, according to Nicaroski, and I think that he's really a good source. He's close to those Braves that his legs are good, and they're going to need him to steal, because pro-fart being out, they're going to have to manufacture some runs. So they had talked to you. In the interview, they talked, well, maybe they should put him down on the line because of the speed. They said, no, he's going to, he's, hey, we got this new first base coach, and the green light is there. This is an exciting play for me. Favorite future of the year. Wow, Ronald Acunia, Jr., 25 to 1, most regular season, Stolen bases.
And I think my excitement is because not only does my model, so while I modeled this without even hearing what that interview was all about, I would have said, hey, that's a good price based on the model. But then if you hear somebody and really close to the game, and I think one of the things that you can pick out when you're candy-capping is how good these guys are in the radio, and they're close to the team, so they know. They know better than you, and they know sometimes better than the numbers. And so I think that that's why I'm really, I'm pumped about it, Kim. This is what I'm, you know what? I'm not being a stuff shirt about it. I think I'm showing enough emotion, right? They're really, they're really got to you, didn't it? Stuff shirts that you really drew the line. Things do. Yeah, yeah. I know Fesik has, Fesik has a super thin skin, and I don't really care much, but like, come on, man, you, I want to, I want that guy to go see some of the wraps. What if, what if that guy had said me, you, and Matt Brown, in one category that everybody else was the stuff shirts? Would you be okay with that? As long as you were not in the stuff shirt? I would have been, totally, totally.
As long as you were in the, it praises me, right? Yeah, just curious. All right. This is what I love about you, though, talking about the C.J. Nikowsky thing, who again, appeared on by the books with Jensen and Dave that as immersed as you are in your numbers, in your lab, in your baseball lab, you have the ability to sort of step back and take in other information, especially from sources that you respect. Let me, let me sort of then throw this out to divisions, all six. Is there a bet in a division that you would recommend? I'll leave it open to all six. You know, when I think I can wrap and fire this, and my favorite one is the brewers, the market has them at plus 250, and I've got them winning the simulations more than 50% of the time. So that's my biggest edge. And I think it comes, comes down to, again, the input into the simulations, the base winner rankings. I've got the starting pitching for the brewers number seven, the relief pitching number four,
and the offense number 10. And that's a pretty darn good combination, Gil. And, well, you know, what I'm going to talk about this AL West here, because I really, I really am bullish on the, on the Mariners, you talk about base winner rankings. So they're starting pitching number nine, bullpen six, fielding five, and offense six. I don't really see like that, that's the four categories that, what else do you got, right? And they're top 10 in every category. I've got them, the market's got them at even money, and I've got them right about 65 to 70%. So that's a pretty good bet, I think, with the Mariners skill. Okay, brewers and Mariners, those are the two biggest ones, anything else, division wise? Well, I got, you know what, I'm actually going to pop myself on my back, because I've got the Metz and a lot of futures, and I've got them to win that division. You look at their offense, number two in baseball, relief pitching number 10, starting pitching not so good, 14.
But I think the Phillies are a little bit overrated. You know, interesting about the Phillies, I want to get this in, Justin Crawford is projected to get six percent of the plate appearances. You know, Justin Crawford is Carl Crawford's son. I didn't know that. Wow. And so that's, yeah, that's pretty amazing. And anyway, his, his, you know, these steamer ratings aren't very bullish on him. And so that, that kind of goes into the mix, and then real mutual was down a little bit last year too. But Metz or I think a pretty good price there, implied is 40% in the market. I've got them closer to 60% of the time winning that division, Gil. You seem to be alluding to this. You have the Metz to win the pennant and to win the World Series as well. Did you make those bets? I've no, I've got the Mariners to win the World Series, and the Metz was good on that. And, and we talked about, you know, the top having top 10 ratings for the Mariners. And I have the Metz to win the pennant. Got it. So I'm really, I'm, I'm stoked about those, those plays. Not it, not as pumped up. The Adames to win the NL MVP.
I mean, gosh, if that happens, I'm going to be legendary, right? That was part of the MLB futures draft. I think it was your last pick if I'm not mistaken, or if it's not the second one. Yeah, I mean, really, all right. Metz to win the NL, but Mariners to win it all. Mark Borscht, everybody at basswinter, basswinter.com, Mark a pleasure. We'll talk to you every Tuesday this year, my man. Sounds good, you'll thanks. Mark Borscht, everybody, coming back. We get tweets being in the book, Michael Monasano, our buddy, just tailed basswinter, Akunya, 25 to one for most stolen bases. He's not happy with me right now. Monasano isn't. Yeah.
Why? I said, I said that thing about Rochester accent. Oh, he sees. Five. Yeah. Steve the proxy mentioned Braves First Base coach Antoine Richardson. He was the Metz First Base coach last year, and I believe we, that's a we, he said, led the MLB in steals. Steve the proxy playing for the Metz these days. Everyone loved this coach, and Soto was not fast, went from a career high of 12 steals to 38, which led the NL of Akunya is healthy. He absolutely can win that steals title. I didn't catch the odds, but that's a great bet. 25 to one, Steve. Yeah. What did I do? 25 to one. It just pulled up his pro baseball reference page. Like who was this? 75 of them? Like three years ago? Yeah. Before the injury. One that long ago. Yeah. I don't know if you know this. You remember on a numbers game where I would say the line I used to have about Akunya was every night I would go to the sports book to watch baseball and Akunya was always the best play. I do it on all those screens. Steve and Brosek 1870 talking about the Oscars thing earlier, he goes like Frankenstein, the documentary. It's so glad someone brought that back up.
That was one of the weirdest days of a numbers game, chit-chat ever. Kelly Billin. This is when I first brought up this Frankenstein movie and I just kept referring to this Frankenstein. And Kelly wondered if it was a documentary. I got to tell a whole story. Okay. There's Ellen. Have any of you guys seen this Frankenstein movie and the entire crew knew exactly what he was talking about? And I just kept having questions about it and nobody was answering me. They were just talking to each other and I refused to be left out of a conversation. I'm like a child. I will jump in no matter what. Yes. I got to. Yes. Frankenstein was sitting in a chair and they would ask him testimonials to be like, so what did you think when you woke up off the table? Wait, you never watched movies. This is why I was confused. Frankenstein was like, yeah, it was really rough what I first got up out of it. I didn't know what I was or where I was. Frankenstein's monster. Okay. Get it right. Great. That's like a top 10, like most annoying correction in life, right? Which one? Frankenstein's monster. Like, yeah, we know.
We all know. And two drinks in on Twitter. Hi, fellas. Following Todd's picks, Truly Causes Life Struggles got invited to golf last Saturday to immediately have the thought of Todd firing out picks. And the FOMO thoughts crept into my head love the show. Why? I did go golfing. Yeah, man. The Todd stuff is so good that we all get FOMO. Yes. What was the, was there something the other day where I was like, I don't know, I miss all these bets. I can't remember what was that? No, we went to the UNLV basketball game. You went out to the basketball game. You can get all concerned about it. I was excited to go to UNLV basketball to watch Wyatt Tom Cheg doing play by play for UNLV women's basketball. They're last home regular season game of the year. And I thought to myself for a second, I was like, wait a minute, Todd's firing on picks. Four dollar beer night at the Thomas and Max center, which he took full advantage of. At the top of the show, I said, this show was over booked, Kelly Billa. We are not kidding. Champions from spring training, do you like a life? If you want a life of, of going from the NFL combine to spring training in Arizona,
the grapefruit lake, your life would be like that of Paul Carr who joins us from surprise Arizona to talk soccer with us of all things. He joins us now courtesy of the progressive guest line. How you doing, Paul? I'm good. I'm good. This is a crazy month for me. Combine spring training, Florida in Arizona and a couple of weeks got two US men's soccer games in Atlanta. So I got all the sports covered this month. What a good life. Oh, senior director of media and business ops at true media sports. Let's give them the man is due. Right. What's your favorite of all three of those things? I mean, the soccer games like it's live TV. So I'm back in my element from my ESPN days and there's nothing like doing live TV and US men's day was my favorite team. So that's hard to beat. But also like I'm in Arizona in March and it's 75 degrees and perfect and there's hope in the air and it's baseball. So that's that's pretty good to hope in the air. So true. Open the air. Okay. Let's talk champions league.
You're kind enough to take a break from what you're doing down there with true media sports spreading analytics to all who want them and all who want to do them seamlessly. That's what that's what true media networks provides. Champions League right now. Let's just talk about the futures real quick. Where do we stand on that? Arsenal plus two 50 bars by earned Munich five to one by the Thelona cast and a pronunciation six to one man city eight to one PSG nine to one. Liverpool also nine to one. What do you like here? Yeah. So we've got a full bracket now so we can map out everything. If I had to play something here, I would lean and look at Bayern at plus five hundred five to one. You know, the issue for them is they're going to play man city around Madrid and the quarter finals. But I feel like in the last year of PSG was kind of in the same boat where like well, they've got the talent, but they can put it together and then by the end they were clearly the best team. And I feel like Bayern could be that this year. We're starting to click on offense. So I mean, yeah, five to one is a little shorter than I would prefer, but if I'm looking
at one of the top five or so short shots, that's the way I'm looking. Man, it's always picking Germany or German teams. So I walk into that every time that's Bundesliga, that's Bundesliga. Okay. Paul, so now explain to us because I think you just alluded to it right there full bracket. What where are we right now? This is the first leg of of the 16. Is that where we are? Correct. First leg in the round of 16. So we've got a normal 16 team bracket now on down to the final and Budapest in May. And this is the first of two legs. So no one's advancing today and tomorrow, but you're putting yourself in position to go to the other teams place and try to take care of business a week from now. So no squirreliness here. Second leg is the squirrely one, right? With motivation. Yeah. Yeah. Right. I mean, you'll see some teams. We'll play conservative now. I'll just skip to the second leg a little bit. Can be a little bit more straight forward in the sense that you're just kind of, you're setting the table. You got to play this one out and see where you're at. You can't see this, but Kelly has both of his, both of his arms bent, which means he's
ready to say I was doing wind horse fingers for a second, because I thought I just remembered something. Was there a rule change? Paul, do the away goals not matter as much anymore? Right. Okay. Yeah. I got rid of away goals. I went three years ago. Maybe. Yeah. So it's supposed to open things up a little bit. And I think it's, I think it's done that a little. Paul, did they add a three point line in the NBA? When did that happen? Kelly needs to know? Is that a new rule change? Yeah. Just a couple, you know, three years ago. Three years ago. Jesus. Oh, that's all right. Okay. But as in Premier League style that Paul always gives us a three pack. You have a three pack of champions league plays for us. What do you got? Yeah. We'll start with one today. Newcastle Barcelona. I like goals in this one over three and a half plus one 10. Barcelona has been this way for a couple of years with one of the best attacking teams in the world. And they're just kind of so so on defense. Same thing this year with every one of their Champions League games is that three or at least three goals, half of them that four or more, seven of last eight La Liga had three
plus goals, six of those had three and a half expected goals, but they're defense again. Eighth in La Liga this year, which isn't great when you're, you know, clearly the first or second best team pretty much every year. So goals in Barcelona games, nothing new here. Newcastle, they could try to play it tight a little bit, but they really have to win this game at home and then kind of hope you get a draw on Barcelona. That's the best approach to get through here. So I think we have goals one way or the other here because the either team hang in two or three without much trouble. So over three and a half plus one 10. The NFL this upcoming season, Kelly, they've added a line of scrimmage because before that was like, it was like a scrum. So now they're going to add a line of scrimmage. This is so fair. This is so fair. All right. So Newcastle Barcelona over three and a half. That is today is Athletico Tottenham also today? Yes. Yeah. I'd like Athletico a lot in this one. I'll wait to go in a half a plus one 45. Tottenham, man, they are, we talked about it a bit a week or two ago. Like, are they in relegation danger? And I didn't really think so, but they're trying to change my mind.
They're in 16th place in the Premier League. Just one point out of relegation. Athletico's the third best team in La Liga as they often are, but this is not the ultra dissent of Athletico from a few years ago, especially at home. They scored three goals themselves in four straight home games. They beat Barcelona 4-nail at home, Madrid 5-2 at home, Leverkusen 3-1 at home. So they'll open up a little bit and they've got the firepower to do it and attack. Tottenham's changed coaches recently and the new system hasn't been going very well. So they've got some guys back from injury, but again, new system, does that help? I'm not really sure. So I will take the much better team, I would say here, Athletico, I'll lay the goal on a half a plus one 45. All right. Kelly, I don't know if you knew this, but baseball has this designated hitter now. That was nothing happened back. Dude, Paul, that was totally the next one I was going to and in my head, I was like, in my head, I was like, is that too much if I go one more back to the well? I was just saying, I know the American League, they've added a hitter now instead of the pitcher. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So both of those are today.
Newcastle Barcelona over three and a half goals and then Athletico laying the goal in a half at plus one 45 versus Tottenham. Tomorrow, Man City and Real Madrid, you are going with Man City at even money. Yeah. We've talked a lot last few years about Real Madrid having this kind of devil magic in the Champions League. I think that's dead. So I like Man City to win at even money, even in Madrid. Man City won their 2-1 in December, they're going to have most of the ball here. They're a much deeper team and maybe most importantly, I just think they have a massive managerial advantage. I mean, Pep Guardiola's the best manager in the world are close enough and Real Madrid change manager's midseason, our, our real Arbaloa form of players and manager. I don't think he really does a lot from a tactical perspective and he's not going to have Killian and Bapé probably in this game. He's not going to have Duke Bell in him, Rodrigo. So Man City, much better, give me the win on the road at even money. I don't think he really does a lot. It's not a good review of a manager, not great, not great, not great, not great, Bob, not great. Thank you, Paul. Thank you for taking time out of your, your spring training for us.
We appreciate it. You betcha. This guy's up to something. Oh, you think he's up to something? He's up to something. He's up to something because what is he, he's very, if he's way too excited to be leaned back and relaxed. Well, he's already won because he's already got the crown on, so he's already won the thing. Well, then, yeah, but then he's, but he's not like happy.
He's like, he's, he's like leaning back, like you're not like thrilled. You're not pumping your fist or anything. Well, maybe it's just chilling. Maybe he's already done that. Well, then then he's been celebrating for too long. You know, like, what are we? An hour 45? Minute 45? Joe C714 on Twitter says, ROTFL, you guys, so matter of fact with the question, I heard away goals. Don't matter as much now. LOL. Yeah, it's been three years. This is the stuff that makes this show the best. Always good to have a genuine laugh. Thank you, Joe C. Dude, I really, I was guilt spotted, too. I thought I was on to something. I was like, I remember this thing. This is a thing now. I remember it. The best part is that after I did the lie, the scrimmage bit that that literally when Paul said the D.H. You were Paul thinking the same thing. In my head, I was like, where should I go with baseball? Should I go replay? No, that's two, that's two recent. Should I go ghost man? Two recent. I'll go D.H. And then Paul boosts me to it. Yeah, Paul Car was always ready for a bit. Oh, Felica says I should go to Seville over Barcelona. Okay. Sevilla. Oh, sorry. Lo siento.
You in Spain, you can't go wrong. Ooh. He says Madrid over Barcelona, too. He just hates Barcelona. Not a fan of Barcelona, huh? Coming up on Friday. That's what he explains. Yeah, Spain, like Madrid, South, you cannot go wrong. No offense to Northern Spain. I'm lucky to spend a good amount of time in Europe. Spain, not one of those countries. Espanya. Yeah. Oh, it's beautiful. It's beautiful. And I like wine. I hear they get good wine. I don't know if you've heard about this thing called Sangria before, but they seem to enjoy that as well. What was the one? Remember the one we were checking out like six months ago you were telling me about? It was like, singrian Coca-Cola or something? Oh, you're talking about Cali Mocha. Yeah. Gross. No. No. Goracho of Cali Mocha. I didn't sound good. Yeah. That's a cheap alternative. Yeah. Anything else you need about Spain spirits? I got you. I get you back. Here's the guy. Once again, tennis today at Indian Wells in the Coachella Valley, glorious round of 16 tennis
two on the men's side, Arthur Fees plus one 31 versus Felix, OJ, Alia, Seam. This is a surface where I think Fees should be a tick of a favorite. Again, hard courts, but the slowest of all hard courts, it grinds the ball to a halt. And pups it. Puffs the ball up in the air. I like art to her Fees on this surface versus Felix, OJ, Alia, Seam at plus one 31. I should probably check these were these were given out last night for subscribers at visa.com slash picks. Let me check out where you can get Fees, right? I got Phil is a plus one 25, a little while ago. Okay. Refuses. Refuses a Fees. Art or a Fields. Fields. Arthur Fields for those who are looking for how it's spelled F-I-L-S. Just remember you and Chris Velika, I could spell Felix, OJ, Alia, Seam, anytime you want. I'm showing plus one 16, but yeah, don't bet it any lower than that one 23 draft to have good enough. Yeah. Yeah. That's good enough. I mean, just preserve value. Learner TN.
I am also on on the men's side against 100 David Vitch Fokina. He's up to minus one 32, but shop around. Maybe you'll be able to get right around my price there for TN. What are you saying for TN? Learner TN. Oh, 129. Okay. There you go. He's doing my thing. He's doing my bid from last week, basically, of the armbar, guillotine, just yelling. He's just yelling techs at us. Yelling techs. And then on the lady side, ladies and gentlemen, Alex Yala, Alexandra Yala, plus 155 versus Lynda Nozcova, Yala is about plus 145 right about now. Still playable. Again, this is a player whose hardcore numbers are great. I think she gets it done. And again, we have her a couple ways here. We're also trying to get her to win the quarter. She's got two more matches for that to happen. In addition, some of the bets that I've made, Red's most win by the end of April. Red's most wins March, April at Caesars, 35 to one. You con to win the national championship at 16 to one.
I don't feel as good about that these days. I got out of Florida. I got to add one more team. And then take a polluza tonight. Can't forget about our NBA NBA brain dead parlay. This is our sixth. We're four and one thus far for about two to half units up tonight. Heat pistons, hawks, dubs, heat pistons, hawks warriors. The heat are playing the wizards. The pistons are playing the nets, the hawks are playing the maves and the warriors are playing the bulls, all those opponents, tanking teams, four out of the eight that are clearly tanking their way to the best possible number of ping pong balls and percentages in the NBA draft lottery. No guarantee that they can end up with the first pick, but they can't get any worse than four worse than where they slot. If that makes sense. Yep. In the ultimate draft. You sir. That's right. What do you got? I also have a tanky type, parlay, tankish tankish tanky tankish, okay.
Oh, yes you do. Pistons, hawks. Money line. Everybody but the dubs. Everyone but the dogs. Yeah, I'm staying away from them. They got. They got props. No curry. Jimmy Butler. Was that Indian Wells? He's a he's a big tennis guy, right? Big tennis guy. He was there rooting on Alcras. Yeah. On crutches. So yeah, I took one leg out. I'm laying what minus 194. So that makes that makes sense. Spurs then three and a half and three. I laid both. I couldn't believe it woke up this morning and it was shorter. Three Drew liked Boston. So had to head me in Dinsig tonight. And I went and laid it with the Hornets again. This would be three games in a row. We'll see. We'll see if this is something. The Hornets are finally coming back to back to Earth here. Yeah, it's tough one against the Suns on Sunday night. That's for sure. Forgot I have more. Yes, you have more. Mercy Hurst. Catching five and a half, baby. I'm going to jump on that as well. Let's roll. Yeah. Kick him a duel right now. Jim explained it. Gil re-explained it to me because Kelly wasn't paying it. That just I was typing something up. Yeah. Made a lot of sense. You're right.
It sounds like a Kelly Bidlin bet to me. Five and a half. Again, what he's referring to is that Mercy Hurst is, and by the way, not Murk Fry Hurst, but Mercy Hurst, they have nothing to play for tonight in terms of getting the big dance. They're ineligible second year of the four year transition. So the the handicapping angle is Long Island doesn't really have to go full bore because they're already in Mercy Hurst last to raw plus five and a half. I like the thinking. Artour Feele. Artour Feece. Feece. Artour Feece. Feece. Artour Feece. Any lined plus one twenty five and Amy Madigan minus one oh five to win best supporting actress wife that Harris, good conversation with Jake earlier. That was great Jake. Jake achaon deserves a lot of credit. Speaking of Jake wild tonight in hockey. Minnesot and wild in regulation, even money versus the mammoth stars in regulation versus VGK. They have an all kinds of trouble here in Vegas. So he's on dial stars at even money jets in regulation plus one 15 versus the ducks
And the Hurricanes in regulation versus the penguins minus 135 shout out to Andy McNeil or the Hurricanes pronunciation cam young 32 to one to win the players championship golf's fifth major, if you will. And Daniel burger. SP and parentheses question mark Daniel burger 50 to one to win the players championship as well. See a burger can bounce back from that gacking. This past week at the other Palmer and good on Jake for going right back to him. Before Jake's Oscars picks officially, do we know, I mean, we think the Madigan was right at even money. Madigan even money was the best play, best actress. Yeah. Yeah. That was the best one. I think so. I don't think he had anything that was bed and current moment, right? It was kind of stuff that has just give his thoughts. Yeah. I think you're right about that. And Jim Root from three man, we've Merrimax Sienna under 125 and a half tonight. Merrimax and Sienna playing for an auto bid in the Metro Atlantic tonight.
He's going under 125 and a half in that game, Vatec Wake Forest, ACC action begins today with a trio of games. He's taking Virginia Tech minus two and a half. Oki's lay in the points versus Wake Forest. And then the aforementioned Mercyhurst Long Island game. He's taking Mercyhurst plus five and a half points again in what could have been a great Northeast final event. One more for that stupid four year transition rule. Yeah. Drew Dinsick. He's on Victoria Emboco at Indian Wells today, plus 140 versus Amanda Nisimova. God, our match is good today. Favorite better than tournament? How would he say that? Favorite better than day. I don't think he's a tournament. Celtics plus three and a half at the Spurs and the preview of the NBA finals. Celtics plus three and a half at the Spurs, you guys are Oppo. And then he's on the Hawks minus the eight and a half versus the Tank and Mavs. I thought really interesting points he made about Atlanta because they're one of those teams that's tough for me to figure out exactly right now, Gil, because they have beat up on some real bad teams. Yeah. Oh, and real quick. Mark Bortcher base winner Ronald McCune Jr. Most stolen base is 25 to one, met to win the NL penit 701, Mariners to win the World
Series 12 to one. Uh, he liked the Dodgers Diamondbacks exact in the NL West Paul car, Newcastle Barcelona over today, Athletico minus one and a half goals versus Tottenham today, and then Man City to beat Real Madrid in the Champions League tomorrow. Hot points. Next with Nick Whalen and Jeff Erickson, Enjoy for Visa and these sports betting network.
