The numbers told the story to always do. Swandals, idiots who believe in analytics. This is a numbers game with Kill I like Xander. Gone V-Send. Our number two in a numbers game on V-Send. These sports betting network V-Send.com, Game Plus, I-Hard Radio, YouTube TV, Series X of Channel 158. Kill I like Xander. Kelly Middlet, producer number nine. So much more than a producer, but today, producer is his number one task. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm trying, trying. They say it just yelled at me, but what else is new? You know, that's right. What else is new? I guess they yell at you. Dude, I am a... Physics still to come, Phelika still to come. Phelika standing by. I am really like... If I... If I had six figures to burn, I would totally bid for John Brickens' jersey. It's the first thing I thought of. I thought of when I opened the attachment, I was like, this is a lot of money. But like... Kill Mike! Mike! Do you want to get involved? Yeah, like 10 years from now, people are like, you know who has Brickens' Super Bowl 17 jersey? Gil has it. Hey man, with all the Game Day DNA.
I love that he threw it in his office. He goes, yeah, just one more thing. I was all the DNA from the Rose Bowl. He said, he said, Buddhist man on Twitter, woke up, opened the Schrodinger's Box, no dead cat, but an 8 by 10 glossy of Drew, signed by Andy, and a calendar with January 30th, circled in red, a tribute to Drew's comment that the tournament doesn't start till February 1st. But it did two days before. Banshees of Atlantic City really enjoyed the rigging interview, especially his spot on Alan Boston impression. Yeah. Ryan Hyatt, fantastic interview with Rigo, by Gil on A&G. Great to see that Riggins knows and adheres to the Friday language standards set by Fesick and others. Man, how I missed 1980s NFL and the characters who made it awesome. He is the greatest to me. Johnny Ringo, the big question on this dump button Friday. Will Fesick be able to follow up on that? Did we get the dump button? Did we get it in time? We did. We got it in twice, yeah. How many was it twice that he did? Twice, yeah. Okay. I thought it went three. None of them were bad, though. You know, it's like the...
I was all in the heat of the moments. Right, yeah, yeah. Mike P, 15 Royals, 15 Chief. Self. Sinner's got this. When he's down two games of the four-set, then bet him to win three to two. Plus money on draftings. Look a little bit ago. Sinner loses three to and then I remembered the Gilly adage. That's still Joker on the other side. Note to self, don't bet against Joker. Because he's magic. Like, you can't even explain it. This is ridiculous. Bobby Gettys. Okay, after thinking about this, I think I'm legitimately mad at my wife. She should know that if I leave tennis on the bedroom TV overnight and she wakes up early for work, two wakem is in capitals now. Two wake me up if there's a legendary match. And yes, she knows what qualifies. Scott C. Kansas, J. Hawk, John Riggins, hashtag RockChalk. Three Jack H. 3131. Well, we all know where Gills Alcaraz when he's are going. John Riggins is memorabilia. Great segment, dude. I really part of me is thinking about it. I'm sure Debra saw a fashion stylist would like that story. Hey, guess what? I just got for a 200 K. You did what?
Can you go full west runels and wear it like every day for a week with his DNA? Hey, it's got his DNA on it. Leave me alone. Real nicks. What a terrific interview with Riggins. Must have been a thrill for you, Gill. Conversely, it'll give this dolphins fan nightmares tonight of Riggins running over McNeill like he was a pile of rake leaves in the backyard. No one could stop Riggins in those days. And once he had like a step on McNeill, that was the picture I had was just McNeill dragged off him. The only thing I feel bad about for the audience is I made sure to give these two space before and after the interview because honestly, the off-air conversation was just as good. Oh, yeah. Off-air. You got to share something. Off-air, he says to me, he goes, Gill, I'd done a dossier on you. Tulsi Gabbard gave it to me. Yeah, he did his homework on you, coming in, man. Yeah. He did his research also. Yeah. I thought very nice of him after right now. I talked to you about that. Got to tell you something. One of the things when he says, this is I swear to God, I'm thinking this. He said my name. He said your name. It's all I got. It's like, I don't even know
what it's exactly. He said my name. He said my name. Afterward, like he called you a great. Dan Groot, he did. He did afterwards. He did. I wasn't going to share that, but thank you for sharing that. Dan Groot, Shell, watching you fanboy during your interview with Rigo was entertaining. He was all get out. I was just waiting for you to do the full Chris Farley to remember that one time when you did that thing. That was awesome. I was so close to doing that. You have no idea. J&J watering hole has to be the most surreal moment in your broadcasting life. I could see and feel your joy and talk to your boyhood here. What a great moment. Good for you, Gill. It was exactly that. And Charlie D USA number one. So happy for you, Gill. Bucket List moment. We could go on. And we will. But Chris Velika is standing by the bear. From Fox Sports. He is the emperor of the bear bets empire over there. Pro football. College football. He's got to go on over there. You can follow him on Twitter at Chris Velika. F-A-L-L-L-I-C-A. Good morning, sir. Good morning, Ian. That Don McNeil moment never should have happened because that was the AFC championship game in which Don Shula cheated and did not cover the orange bull field
knowing that the Jets were going to go down there and beat them. So it should have been a Jets skin, super bowling. Don McNeil would not be living in infamy right now with that being being posterized by John Ricken. So yeah. I'm not, I'm not bitter or anything. You can send an 11-year-old bear. Chris Flake in his room crying for the entire weekend and not coming out. I didn't have a school on Monday morning. So I've clearly gotten over. Yes. More all the story. Don Shula. Sheer. For. Rack that. Would you rack that? I think Rome used to say. Put that on social media. See what happens. Hey, plenty of good Jets season since. Okay. For those who think Chris and 11-year-old Chris went you crying in the he was exaggerating. He's not like every highlight of that is AJ Dewey covered in mud. Right? Like you can't even see his jersey. AJ Dewey scored a touchdown for the dolphins on defense of that game. It's just he let the field there was rainy in Miami. The Jets were the faster team, I guess.
They had more team speed, I guess. And so he just muddied up the field in there. Down goes the Jets Republicans. Sorry. Sorry. 11-year-old Chris. And get Richard Todd's career. And did. And did wall Michaels tenure as Jets had coach. Wow. Them were the days. All right. You got bets in lots of sports. Why don't we start with Ted? Let's get the tennis out of the way. Because there is a women's final. It is Arena Savileca and Elena Rabakina with Savileca. About a minus 180ish favorite in the match, which I think is probably price. But you found out you found a way to bet this. It feels high. 180 seems a little high, doesn't it? Hmm. The numbers don't say it is. They really don't. OK. Yeah. But yeah, I can see it going either way. But what I do expect, I expect a long match, just like we had in both men's semis last night. I found an over four combined double faults in the match. And again, I am basing my play on going over assuming that we're going to get a long match. If you look at the three
set matches that these two have played, we've seen 787 and 22 combined double faults. We know it in the past sub-like has had trouble with double fault. She's kind of overcome that in recent years. Really worked hard on solving her double fault problems. But again, I think we're going to see a long match, a tight match, pressure pack match. And I think it's good as we're back in his been on her serve as well. You can see a little gap every now and then. So over four double faults combined in the match will be out. I'm playing this one today. There you go. We're back in a four double faults from Chris and you're absolutely right. Of course, sabote because whole career changed around when she got over the serving yips, right? The whole career changed from that. Before we go to other sports and your other picks, I feel contractually obligated. I know you don't necessarily have something on this. But what are your thoughts on Super Bowl 60 here, nine days before the game? Doesn't it feel like people it feels like a simple
handicap to me? I mean, name one area where the Patriots are better. Like I know that's less like grass roots like blow with like tree top type thing. But there isn't really an area where you can make a case that the Patriots are better. And I think that we might see people trying to make a case for the Patriots as we get closer and closer to the game. I'm going to wait in seeing I'll probably have a a C Hawks money line. Hopefully it'll reduce prices we get closer. But I just don't know how the Patriots score points in the game. And I know there are a bunch of Patriots fans out there upset that we what we were talking about on the group text. I talked about that on the pot as well. And oh, there's 17 and three and the weather was bad. And that's what I think it is what it is. But I just don't know how New England scores points in this game on Seattle. I think under is probably a good side. I know it's come down as well. But it just seems like the C Hawks are better.
And anything other than that is just kind of maybe reaching a little bit for a side. Yeah, I'm kind of with you, man. And I know this is this is the kind of stuff that may not age well. But I am I feel very strong and I'll say it again. It feels to me the Malcolm Gladwell Blink thing is of all these dominant NFC teams against the AFC teams back in the 80s and early 90s. And this feels like a throw back to that. We will see nine days from now. What do you mean? What do you mean? What do you mean? The Drake may stuff like not throwing in pret like. I guess he heard his shoulder in that game in Denver. And he didn't throw it practice yesterday. Do we think that's a thing? Or is that just kind of throwing it out there? Because I have to like actually file an injury report. Well, I think if the game was this Sunday thing. Next Sunday. You know, that's probably two weeks, right? Like, you know, let me know on Monday, Tuesday. And then I'll start worried about it. But it just feels like one of those classic Super Bowl. Like, yeah, we got two weeks. Sure. Let's throw him on the injured report and say he's taking it
easy. I'm sure he won't feel that question a hundred times in the next week. Okay. To your bread and butter. Well, horse racing is this is bread and butter. But college football is what you're most known for. You have a Heisman play for us. I might have mentioned this in passing last week. Yeah. But I did bet C.J. Car, the Notre Dame quarterback to win Heisman at eight to one. Obviously, Archman. He's going to get some money. I think dairyman said we'll mount it. Money being that he's gone to Miami. But you're looking at Notre Dame. The Notre Dame quarterback. Notre Dame is going to be top three or five team in the country entering next season. Car had an unbelievable freshman year. You look at the Notre Dame schedule. Really, the only game I potentially could see the Irish losing is that home game against Miami on November 7th. What 24 touchdown six picks this year. Just look. Like a future star. And at eight to one. And Notre Dame team, which looks like. Has an opportunity to go 12 and 11 and one at worst. That feels like a bet from me, especially when you look at. The schedule that Texas has maybe three losses in the mix for them.
No, Ohio State as well. Looks like they're schedule. It feels like we could potentially maybe be seeing a battle not only for the number one ranking, but also the Heisman trophy. November 7th. I think it's going to be a great deal. I think it's going to be a great deal. I think it's going to be a great deal. I think it's going to be a great deal. I think there's going to be a great deal. I think it's going to be a great deal. The number nine. I think they're going to be in the top 12. I think they're going to be a great deal. I think it's going to be a great deal. In the first half. I think they're going to be in the next 31 years. November 7th and South Bend between Miami and Notre Dame. How do you feel about Notre Dame, the rule of if they finish the top 12 therein automatically? I'm OK with it. I mean, I think you need to apply to the group of five for five. Nobody else gets that rule. baseball.

Running through some tweets, Dan Groeschel, but with all sincerity, I would have been way worse of a fanboy if I was interviewing any of my childhood heroes. Tipped my cap to you for making that entertaining, even though it was before my time, and I am not a fan of the skins. Hey, hey, hey, stop it. I understand what you've done, though. I believe, Yannis to the Warriors is low as even money at some shops. I'm just telling you, man, it makes too much sense. Yeah, Winhorse just hopped on the SPN, quote, if there's a deal that's going to be done before
the deadline, in my belief, Golden State is the team to make that deal. Let's go, Dubs. I laid out my full explanation on why I bet that yesterday. David Flacks, thanks, Gil. Awesome having Rigo on. Let's all chip in and buy his jersey. I wanted myself, David Flacks, but I might need your money. Rob Graham, good morning, ANG. That is so amazing. You got to talk to your personal idol. Not many people get that opportunity. It couldn't have happened to a better person. Oh, thank you. I would do anything to meet Shaq. That'd be great. Shaq is like, hey, Rob Graham. Interview me, Rob Graham. I'm trying to think, is there, like, who would come close? Ray Leonard? Ray Leonard, I actually spoke to him on the phone once, but never. Yeah. Yeah. Brian Heap, congratulations on another great Vegas lifestyle podcast. I really believe those of us who are a long time listeners all the way back to the days of trick rolling to serve to receive a DM with a top secret sushi place, please consider. Brian Heap, I will, I will put that under consideration. I will put that under advisement. Sweet little Monaco. Gil, I didn't leave my card to get my coffee until the breakdown on the alcohol as match was complete. Ashtag awesome.
Thank you. That's very nice of you. Jamie Buckle, Gil on cloud nine after Reagan's interview. Pretty cool to talk to one of your heroes when you're a kid, hopefully one day. I get to talk to Tony Dorset. Great show as always. Man, Tony Dorset. As powerful as Reagan's was as a runner, Dorset just glided through his career. And John B. Gil interview with John Reagan's Joe Fiesman. Love the enthusiasm. He too was putting the Chris Farley meme out there. Hey, remember that. I totally almost went there. That was awesome. Chris Velika, kind enough to join us for a second segment, the bear from Fox Sports. You can follow him on Twitter at Chris Velika. You wanted to follow up then. So the Notre Dame thing. I just wanted to get your full thought out because I mentioned at the very end, I was like, Hey, how do you feel about Notre Dame? There's this new rule starting next year. If Notre Dame finishes in the top 12, they're automatically in now. That makes sense, right? If you finish in the top 12, you ought to be in, but it only applies to Notre Dame. But that's kind of where I feel how I feel about the like we should want the 12 best teams.
In the tournament and whether it's Notre Dame, who was ranked in the top 12, whether it's. Five teams from the big 10 or 16 from the SE, whatever, the 12 best teams should be in. And that's where they kind of screwed up with this whole three wording things about. Conference champions who cares cares about over your conference champion. It doesn't mean you're one of the best 12 teams in the country. So yeah, I have no problem with Notre Dame being in the top 12, but they should do is just make that kind of standard that you have to be a top 12 team to be in the playoff, which shouldn't theory have the top 12 teams in the country. But again, we know it's not really the top 12 teams right now. It's a combination of politics and top 12 teams. It's the blood to criteria. Uh, college football. Can I can I quote the Grover? Football. It is what it is. That's right. Coding the Grover Cleveland producers, Jeff Barley, college football. It is what it is, Gilly. It's real simple. It is. It is what it is.
Hey, before we get to the rest of your picks in baseball and college hoops, we have the rare Chris Felica NBA thought and question for Kelly. Yes. I was going as I saw the the thunder getting blown out again last night and look go through looking to burn some free play. I you see SGA still like minus 400 or whatever the NBA. Are there guys out there that we should potentially be looking at in the MVP market. Further, I urge you guys talking a little bit or might have been another show about maybe Jalen Brown or maybe you look at Anthony Edwards like like SGA minus 400 has to be a bet against right now, doesn't it? It's just it's interesting Chris because I've been thinking the same the past couple weeks. It's just tough because there's nobody unlike years past. We just don't have that obvious next guy really pushing him that that's the only problem. I hear you. I think it's something you should keep in mind to be looking. I think if there was just a if you could bet a yes, no price on him winning the MVP. I think the no price is where I would look instead of taking a flyer on somebody else.
I think it's really tough right now to identify who that next person is. Like I think Kate Cunningham is probably in that conversation just because where he has the pistons at. But some of his advanced numbers and just even points scored per game and stuff are not stacking up with where the rest of these guys are. They may not even exceed their season win. It's wild. It is wild. It's incredible. I think Chris is thinking the absolute right way. Like you see games like that. And yeah, that's going to be the story, right? They don't even live up to the wind total. And yeah, SGA. I think you'd like to pick Adam. I don't know who the next obvious guy is. I think Jalen Brown, Kate Cunningham, Luca, if the Lakers start playing a little better. I think all those guys are in the middle. But that's a good advice though. No, in a prediction market. Kind of a kind of an interesting way to play it. Timberwolves beat the thunder by 12 last night. And it wasn't really that close. Yeah, it really wasn't. It wasn't really that close. We need to find the remember the morning I came in here. And I did the whole SGA thing about load management and how he has played basketball straight from like 2021 to now. Olympics. Yeah. Like at some point, it's got to affect him.
And so you just wonder about will this be a multiple championship team after all with all that. All right. Two college basketball. You've made a couple prop bets on a final four teams. Yeah. I mean, the price on Illinois is not what it was a couple of weeks ago or even last week, before they beat Purdue, but they have all the makings of a team that has a long lengthy, deep march run into it. They got a variety of shooters. They've got size. They got a guy in Wild Glover who can take a game over. Ideally, he would expect that they're going to get possible back as well, but experience point guard. They got a big game against Nebraska on Sunday coming up their first loss, but truly, I don't think that'll affect it, but Illinois, again, the price isn't as what it was, but this feels like a, like a team that might be that, that two-seater, so that unlike last year, remember, we kind of assumed that we knew who the final four teams were going to be and played out for the first time or second time ever that you got the ones.
This year feels a little bit different because in addition to Illinois, I also played Gonzaga to reach the final four. And I have not been a Gonzaga guy in the past to make a deep tournament run. You always worry about WCC competition and really not sharpening them for the tournament, but Santa Clara is in the St. Mary's or a legit top 40 teams. And I think the fact that now they're going to be with that with that, with that with that grandma and then with that break and huff, like they're going to develop some depth, develop some, some tough, just develop some confidence that they can have a little bit of a deeper bench maybe for the ones way. I think once they get these guys back, which will be for the NCAA tournament, they're going to be better off. You can look at Gonzaga getting a price therein. There isn't going to be that ton of hype surrounding them this year. And that might benefit Mark Fuse team. So again, Gonzaga to make the final four as well. And a nice little number there. I had forgotten that we got all four number ones into the final four last year. I had forgotten that Auburn, Florida, Duke and Houston,
and it was Florida and Houston in the finals. And somehow Houston gacked it away at Florida one. Florida just single handedly derailed me last year because I had, I had preseason in future bets on Texas Tech, Auburn and Houston to win the NCAA title last year in Florida, beat them all and probably should have lost all three games. Sometimes it goes that way. All right. You have, you have dipped your toe into baseball. What have you bet so far? I have. I have. And you think about the AL-Sai young race. And we all know that trick schoolable is the best pitcher in the America league. And Psy Young favorite. But is he going to be in Detroit at the start of the year? Is he going to be in Detroit for the entire season? We don't know. You'll look at Garakres, the second choice of the short price. Obviously, deserving in one of the best pitchers in baseball. But it's a short number. And then you look at the next tier of guys.
And you've got Jacob DeGrom. Can you trust him? Stay healthy again. You got Cole Reagan's coming off of an injury. You've got Carlos Verdone next free like a bunch of question marks. I took a shot at 50 to one on Kyle Bradish from the Orioles. AL-Sai young couple years ago, in his second year, he was four from the Sai Young voting came back last year, late in the season after missing most of the season and missing most of a 2024 with an injury. And his numbers last year, in terms of like the R.A. Strait case pre-9 and all that stuff. Fit. Like we're better than what they were in his second year in the bigs when he finished fourth in the Sai Young. I think the Orioles could be a sneaky good team to see her off of last year's disappointment. And as long as they're in the race, they're not going to really limit his ending. So I think Bradish at 50 to one was worth a little bit of a dark throw to in Sai Young. Yeah, I'm looking at his advanced stats. Man, he finished last year with a flourish in terms of advanced stats.
He was really good last year. Yeah, his advances. So we had the 2.53 ERA last year, but they have the FIP and the X-FIP. We're 2.45, 2.67 right up there the year before, also in the mid, well, mid two on the fielding independent 2.51. I mean, the advanced stats really were 3.9 war the year before that. So it really does check out in terms of are the baseball card stats better than the advanced stats? No, they are not. They are reflective of his actual skill set. Chris, thank you, sir. I appreciate it as always. Enjoy the weekend. We certainly shall stay warm everybody out there. Yeah. What's the temperature where you are? Eight degrees when I walked outside. Good. We get tweets meeting the book numbers, guys. Gil, you're a few years older than me. So all I remember from childhood regarding Rigo is the phrase John Reagan's hair cut. Something Chris Burman mentioned in the late 80s ESPN commercial and they say, don't meet your idols. I don't remember that commercial. By the way, Josie 714. Serious question for Paul Cara have four category two tickets
for group of 32 knockout stages that so far. How much will these realistically sell for closer to the match? Could be if I'm really lucky Spain versus Argentina, but maybe Spain versus a scrub. Thanks. Now, you're right about that. It really will come down to what the match up ends up being. What was the, what was the phrasing on that category two? Category two. Don't ask me. Parley could answer this for you. I have no idea. What are they like? They're doing ticket prices like hurricanes or something? A cat daddy. An orange cat 302. Give Kelly a bonus for book and Rigo on the anniversary of this play. I didn't do anything. Yeah. That's all Steve Cohen. I used to empire his son's little league baseball games. Oh, wow. Still remember him watching from the bleachers wearing a cowboy hat. He could have argued any call that wouldn't have ejected him. Is it really the anniversary of, I have a feeling he wasn't quiet about it either. Whoa, let me get that audio off. Is it really the anniversary, exact anniversary of the, of the big fourth and one conversion? Against the dolphins in the Super Bowl. Wow. I didn't realize that. K James.
I have a memory. I have a memory for Gil. That Super Bowl was in my dorm room at Northwest Missouri State painting over Pink Floyd murals. When Rigo broke free, I dumped the paint cans, spilling paint all over the carpet. $100, but school charged me $600 for the carpet when I checked out. Wow. That's interesting memory to have at that moment. Jason McKinney. Great show as always. I usually listen to the show. But when Rigo came on, I had to switch to visa and live to see some gilliness. See what I did there. Smile on your face was priceless. Yeah, man. Couldn't stop smile. Rich PSM. Riggins. Showman explanation to me. His showman explanation to me. Is a new one why athletes thrive under pressure. But rare. Many still crumble. A few enjoy it. Very classy of him and so unusual. He is a he is a one of a kind. I mean, he really is. He was about, you know, after this football career, he like became an actor. He was so not a football player first. In fact, he took a year off in the middle of his career. And after 1979, the skins lost a game 3534 at Dallas to knock him out of the playoffs.
Last game of the season. He had like a huge like 80 yard run in that game. And he just quit. He just quit. That's wild. And so he didn't play the 1980 season. And then Joe Gibbs got the job before the 1981 season. And Joe Gibbs, after getting the job, his first thing he did is he traveled to Kansas. Met with John Riggins and begged him to come back. And John Riggins' famous quote when he came back was, I'm bored. I'm broken. I'm back. And Riggins continued his career and then he got to, you know, become Super Bowl MVP. He still holds the postseason rushing yards record. Like that's incredible because there were four games in 1982. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But like what? The sake one. I think had four last year. He's third on that list. Well, there's four games now. Right. Same thing now. But back then, it wasn't an omelie to have four. But yes, there are four. Dude, he was, he was gated over 100 yards in every one of those games. Yeah. And not just the 101 or two. 187. I want to say was the total against Minnesota. Chris Patrick. John Riggins is great. But he's no Larry Zonka. He ran over everyone. Hey, Chris Patrick. Listen, buddy. Larry Zonka may have in fact run over everybody.
But you know what the thing is with Riggins? It had unbelievably deceptive speed. Like no one could believe when he got out on the open. How fast he was also. Incredible athlete. Jason H 11. Happy for you to meet one of your childhood idols. I'll never forget when I got to meet and shake hands with Lawrence Taylor. Could have been nicer. Let's hope this generation of players realizes how important they are to kids. Man, I said that to John off there. If I didn't say it on there. I was like, dude, you have no idea. Paul Carr answering the question about the category two tickets. They're probably $500 each right now. On real estate, resale markets question mark. I'd guess that could double with Spain or Uruguay there. And it's Argentina. There's barely a calling 2k plus each. I imagine. Or barely a ceiling pardon me. Corbin. They really do have these listed out as category. Category tickets. Let's just say we're a cup. Thank God for the World Cup this summer, man. We're going to be all over. Corbin, absolutely crazy morning getting Riggins on the show. And you could see the kid and guilt come out during the interview. Just I just know your mom and dad are so happy for you. And I know your day would say. My dad would say that John Riggins goes the right way up the field.
Yeah, no, he loved Uruguay. My dad loved Uruguay. His comment was always what I can't act. What I can't act. I love this. Let me go. All right. Shall we go country club? Yeah, let's hit it. Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's go. It's a very sparsely populated club that I have to say. They rented it out for themselves. Oh, that's what they do. Or it's the bar at the country club. They have a private event. That explains that. I knew you'd have the explanation for it. I do not have a pre-flop play on the Australian Open Women's Final. I'm sorry to disappoint. I kind of mentioned yesterday that with that Pagula last bet on Pagula. That was probably the last pre-flop bet I would have based on what the numbers. I would anticipate the numbers to be. And that has been the case. Now, that didn't mean that doesn't mean moving forward. That didn't match opportunities won't avail themselves. And good God. Thank God. Carlitos worked out last night. But I read a satellite at minus 177 versus Elena Robocano's plus 145 on the comeback
for the women's final tonight. Is by the numbers the correct line? Now, I know there's, you know, a lot of people think we're blocking it to win this. I feel like she could also. But I'm just saying on the on the actual data. This is what the number should be, which kind of goes counter to people's eyes who think Robocano's. Robocano shouldn't be this big of a dog in this. Yeah, Chris brought it up. This number has come down actually. And this is. It was by this 187 yesterday. So it's going down to $0.10. Like one dog. We're down to like one. I'm seeing 165 in most places. A little more drift on 158. Yeah. People seem to think Robocano could do this. Arena Sabelanka looking for her fifth slam career. Elena Robocano looking for her second career slam. If you recall, she won Wimbledon a few years back. And usually when someone wins their first slam. I mean, think about all the players who never get to win one. You go crazy. Robocano wanted it. And it looked like she beat you at the local tennis court.
She was like completely still. She beat on the board, by the way. The Wimbledon final back of the day. Yeah. She up to, I feel like I haven't seen her in a while. Oh, she's, she's, she's playing. I think she had a kid I want to say. Oh, okay. She has been like gone though. She's not, she's not. She's still playing though, but she hasn't been for a while. Any thoughts on the men's final? Is there a buy price on Alcaras? Oh, yeah. There's definitely a buy price. We're 275 behind us in circus. Wow. I mean, if you got down much, if you got down any lower than that, it starts to really be a consideration. This kind of like you with the live betting. Like I really didn't have any plans to be betting against Novak Jokovic in the final of the Australian open. But uh, that number, we just, like you said at first second, we talked about this first segment. We know what happens after a match like that to some of these numbers. And it just gets muted on this. It's, it's a completely muted line on Alcaras. He should be a bigger favorite. But look, it's Novak, right? I'll just say it again. Yeah. Can you explain a dude after 24 slams having this flourish of
men's, it gets hurt, doesn't play. Musetti gets hurt up to the nothing. And now Sinner goes two of 18 on break points. The man is magic. 38 years old looking for his 25th slam. But Carlitos is Carlitos. So yes, you answer your question any lower? Maybe, but right now, no, I'm not going to. He did look gassed at the end, but like, I don't even know what to read into that because Jokovic should be looking gassed for five years at this point. Imagine not loving sports. Imagine not loving tennis. Tennis is the greatest combination of physical and mental fortitude. There isn't any sport. You don't have teammates to pick you up. And we had the Musetti bet. We didn't have teammates to pick up our bet. It's just you out there on an island with millions of people watching. And you got to sit there and be stealing. No one in history of sport has been better than Novak Jokovic in that. No matter the circumstance. So bet against with caution. I will say it again. How about the farmers? Yeah, farmers round two should be started here in about
half hour 45 minutes. Justin Rose, your low man round one. If you missed that yesterday, he went 10 under on the North course yesterday, which is the easier one that plays far easier than the South course. Anybody who saw, oh, boy, I know we brought him up on the show, but Ludwig, it's Xander. Yeah. Boy. Was that Felica text that yesterday goes, I'm sick of making people making Ludwig a thing. Yeah. He's right. I mean, look, he was great at this tournament last year. At this course as they hosted couple tournaments. But yeah, man, I've been as high on him as anybody. I hear you. I hear you. Rosie, though, he played really well, 10 under. He's a guy that, man, I've looked at it a couple times early this season, Gil, like wanted to play him, wanted to play him. I just think some of the commentary out there about Rose is fair of as these guys get get older and kind of getting that later stage of their career, they're going to be selective with where they play, how they tune up to play these some of these events. It just makes it a little bit more, it makes it a little bit more worrisome to go and bet one of those guys heavily outside
of a big time offense. So that's kind of where I'm out with Rose. Now, like he modeled that well for me, I'll be honest. I think he definitely has the game he can get this done. Sheamus Power probably the story of the day though yesterday. Sheamus Power. Yeah, he went seven under at the South, the South course. So that's big time. Being able to score at the South. That's where Zander and Ludwig struggled. Zander and Ludwig, not looking good. Got McNeely out there. That'd be nice. We'll come back. Dow and Cuff doing a thing at CBS and TNT with top college hoops. Got some soccer plays for us as well. And then Fezick, it's a numbers game of these sports betting network. A numbers game on Feesand, these sports betting network. You know, I was talking about that guy that scaled the sky scraper in Taiwan yesterday talking about how I couldn't even watch it. Like my palms were sweating, my body would involuntarily move. And everybody's like, oh, you should watch free solo gum.
I'm not watching that again. Danny and I were dying laughing yesterday because we're revisiting that after the show. Just that conversation. I was I was loved at the part where we immediately went in on the commentators. And I was like, I mean, Gil would die trying to do an hour and a half. The commentary on some guy climbing a building. You're like, hey, great step there. Hey, hope you're okay. Hey, Kelly, what about those NBA and VP? It's just the middle of the sky. I get in five minutes. Poor guy. Oh, it's incredible. He must have a ridiculous upper body strain. I'll just say it again. Yeah. We get tweets being the book nemesis enforcer. Congrats on the riggo spot. Gil, I got a reply tweet from Tony Dorset. And to this day, my Twitter highlight. Wow. Got to tell you my back in the day, RFK Cowboys fan story. One assigned thizman football in a hex contest. Mom took it. By the way, that is the most obscure DC reference ever. Hex and company. That is fantastic. Hex and company. Linda Cardia. Linda. It was a joy to see you interacting with the riggo. We could feel the love across the airwaves. I was thinking the same thing you did when he did say Gil.
That was enough to land on cloud nine for a week. Try to stay safe at that altitude. Yeah. It's like, you know, the girl. He knew my name. Rich PSM, Gil. Can I loan you some of the cost for that rigging jersey? Especially, never watched. It'd be the best bet you ever made. There's only one, my friend. Yeah, man. Yeah. I may. I'm thinking about it. And then Colin Murphy, real quick here, Kelly, says if you're looking to grab a price that's going to shorten, it's probably Tyrese Maxi. I still like cunning ham and brown in this market. But it might be a little late. Those prices have dipped a big time. Maybe grab Maxi now. What do you think about that? I don't hate it. I would have liked it a few months ago. A little bit more. I like imbeads become too much of a thing for this team again. Yeah. Like you said, he's going to steal some of this. You see Max, they were up to two points. Yes. Yeah. Max, he didn't know whether to make or miss the free throw. He missed it. They ended up working out for him. And imbeid was just laying into him after this. Don't do that again. Yeah, he was not happy about it. I had 70 Sixers though. Like, I know this is a team like the Clippers. Right? We've all just been there. Watch out. Watch out. Watch out. There we go. Watch out. Watch out.
Dallon Cuff, kind enough to join us on this football Friday to talk some college basketball with us. Dallon Cuff. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, it's a very nice job for us. Dallon is doing his thing at CBS and TNT. Or should me hand B.C. in TNT. Pardon me. NBC and TNT. Cba- Cba- 16th College Sports. Yeah. Anything. Him notes. He's everywhere. You can follow him on twitter at Dallon Cuff. That's D-A-L-E-N-C-U-F-F. How you doing, Dallon? I'm very well. CBS is correct. Got two games for CBS next week. I'm busted up and listening because I thought he said in the description like, well, this guy, it's really tragic. He dies. I watched that whole movie waiting for him to fall. It was unbelievable. I was like, this is, I can't live watching this. And then he climbs on the top. And sadly enough, I was like, am I disappointed that he lived? It was really good. But you know what? You bring up a great point here. What was Netflix's
plan? If this dude fell, what happens? That's probably part of you. You cut the stream. You got to the, you cut the stream. That's the only way. I don't know what else you do. And then L Duncan says something. Well, you know, like, how do you do anything but an inarticulate segue for that? I don't think there is anything. Oh, man. Okay. We already got one question on Twitter this morning about this game. Did I between Michigan and Michigan state? So I figured I'd start there with you. And the question of paraphrase was sort of like, Hey, Tom is oh, never loses on his birthday. Do you think Michigan state has a shot? And I said, well, of course they have a shot, but it's not going to be going to be because it's his birthday. How do you feel about this game between Sparney and the Wolverines tonight? Yeah, the birthday handicap is out for me. I think it's more about when you, when you look at Michigan, the thing that's fascinating about them guys is they're, their variance this season has been great, whether it was early season where they probably should have lost them road to TCU, should have lost at home to wake forest. Then they go through that stretch with their just destroying teams that can zag a big spot, never a competitive game, win by what 40.
And then you come back to last couple weeks, they should have lost a Penn State on the road. They do lose to Wisconsin. Nebraska, they pull it out of the hat without Nebraska having two or their three best players. I feel that the market is still pricing Michigan. As if we're always going to see Michigan Michigan's best. And I find that strange because they, they, they are recommended. There's a huge variance here. Michigan state has been a more consistent team. I'll be at yes, Rutgers midweek was a classic look ahead spot. You're on the road at the rack. They're ready for the rival weekend. They found a win and OT. That's fine. I think this Michigan team is great. They could win a national championship. But at the same time, they could be eating the sweet 16. And that's where the this huge variances. When you look at this game for me, I feel like Michigan state at home catching a point and a half on most books. I like them just straight money line right now. I think this is going to come down to physical physicality and toughness. And Michigan at times has struggled to rebound the ball in league play. Michigan state is elite top 10 in both offensive and defensive rebounding percentage. Jeremy fears one of the best guards in the country that people don't talk about. I feel like at home with Isos team getting, you know, being the dog here with Michigan team that I, you know, they can perform at this top end, but will they?
I think Michigan state's been more consistent has been a bit off the beast and beaten path, not talked about as much that helps coach iso and his pitch to his guys carrying a chip on their shoulder. I like sporty tonight. Great Friday night college basketball game for those looking to get some good sports tonight Michigan Michigan state at East Lansing at the Brezler Center. Before we get to your other play, I do this college basketball formula. Do it every year. Sort of parameters from three decades plus six different criteria and from that group with a rare exception through the three and a half decades that we've been doing it produces a national champion. There has been an exception on this on the previous sweet 16 coaching experience one, two out of the last three years with Danny Hurley getting there to the promised land his first time getting the sweet 16 same with Todd Golden last year, but we did it for the, we did the first iteration of it. A couple days ago and it produced seven teams, seven different teams from which the national champion theoretically would come up curious if you agree with the seven if there's one you're not buying or if there's one that has on the outside that you would think should be included.
The seven that came up were Arizona. No surprise Michigan Duke Iowa state Houston, Gonzaga and Florida. You agree with that or am I leaving is somebody left out as you started talking your form on if you could see me I was scribbling to my right here to try to find out if I could guess the teams. Oh wow. The one team I missed the one team I missed is Gonzaga because the numbers still point them in that direction, but without Braden Huff in the lineup. That's a problem. Now granted the numbers all reflected from the analytics. Look at that team with Braden Huff. He's done for the season. So you lose that big piece that can stretch the floor and knock down a shot, helps him in an interior makes them a really complicated team to defend. The problem with that is guys you can lose a key piece. We've seen teams lose a key piece and at times maybe even get better through the course of the year maybe with some of those teams going to win a championship. The difference is when you're playing the WCC they're not tested at the top end to see all right what what what really are we yeah without this guy that's just not going to happen and evenly play same areas it's not going to happen so all the stuff we saw on the non league is not that it's not relevant. It's just not the same. So I would take Gonzaga out of there. I think
people raised an eyebrow at Florida. I would say in this morning on a serious XM show. Yeah man Todd Gold is guys those bigs are the same bigs the one the championship last year. They're absolute beast yet again. Thomas Hauk is an NBA player. Their question comes down to the guards. It is Xavier Lee and a Boogie Fland. Those guys can be more efficient and effective. When they are they're a top five team in the country. When they're not they're beatable and I think those guys have gotten better they're improving defensively they're getting some contributions from other guys off the bench as well. Todd Golden outstanding coach obviously won the championship last year but he also is a very analytical approach from the how he handles games and Texas Tech game last year. Remember they were down nine with two and a half minutes to go and they started following. Teams don't do that. They did that because that's the numbers told them to do it. They find a way to make two threes after that come back and win that game against the red raiders. I like Florida in that spot. I think that's a team that people are sleeping on right now given the struggles they had early. This team is rounding into form a little bit and I think that's I think that's interesting they're in your formula. Is there is there anybody that that did not qualify Nebraska Vandy Virginia BYU Michigan State anybody and none of those you're shaking your head. The only the only
the only team I thought I wrote down to is Michigan State. The challenge for them is just it's similar to what a look at Arizona. Arizona has more ability to score in different ways but they can struggle to shoot at times and Arizona that's they shoot the third lowest threes in the country in terms of 3.3 point shot versus field goaltems. They shoot a decent clip but you need to make them shots at the highest level against some other physical teams. Michigan State if they make shots they're capable of getting there but defensively rebounding offensive transition. Michigan this morning's a hard team to deal with and they remember I think that's a team that will definitely be live when it comes to winning the national championship. All right for those who don't know, Dalin is more than a guy on TV who rocks a light blue suit better than anybody I've ever seen. He also played. Yeah, I like the light blue one. He also played college basketball Columbia. So he's an Ivy League guy. You have an Ivy League play tonight. I got two. So one of them you can take it with the grain of salt as you said as we got the ball over my shoulder here representing my boys. It's a bit of an emotional hedge but Columbia has not played very well at home this year especially in league play. They're dealing with a lot of
injuries right now and I think the market is still pricing how well they started the season and they cover city early guys. That was I jumped on that train and they were great early in the year. I feel like they're not pricing in the injuries as some of the key players and they have not played particularly well. They've won some games in league play and at home they've not been great. So I'm going to take the five and a half of the Quakers. They have an emotional hedge. I think Columbia still wins the game but I think this is a tight game that the Lions kind of have to pull out and battle through some stuff. The other one is Yale Dartmouth. The totals 153 and a half. Dartmouth can score but they want to play fast and they're going to be put they're going to want to play slower like they did the first game when they played Yale. Yale's the best team in this league by far. They will be the team most likely that goes in the end of the tournament. People will see them in March Madness most likely. You need to slow the game down against those guys and when you do it I think it grinds to pace a little bit. Yale's an outstanding defensive team which made me Dartmouth even more inefficient offensively so give me under block 53 and a hook. Under 153 and a hook on Dartmouth and Yale. Dalin can't thank you enough. Thank you so much man. Anytime fellas be well. You too Dalin cuff everybody. D-A-L-E-N-C-U-F-F on the old Twitter machine working everywhere.
Yeah man. Steve, Fesik, Fesik Fridays next on a numbers game right here at VISA.
