The numbers told the story of the allies now. Swandals, idiots who believe in athletics. This is a numbers game with Gill I like Xander gone. V sent our number three of a numbers game at V sent these sports betting network V sent calm game plus I heart radio YouTube TV and of course series six on channel 158. Gill I like Xander Kelly Middling behind the glass because we got to bring Steve Fezick into the chair here momentarily. So so Kelly had to had to make way. We get tweets a bit in the book hot dog Harriet and L.A. Street dogs and hey Gill check it in from Orange County. Fridge attempts here to wearing a hoodie on my morning walk. It's 62 degrees. There's a Cali. Cali people got to rub it in. David Newell at DC Newell says it's not cold until it's exploding trees cold. Y'all know that? That like if it gets cold enough. A tree can explode when a trunk is stressed due to increase in extreme cold or eat or lightning but extreme cold. One of those three things as well. So not cold until it gets
exploding trees cold. He says Tim Bauer's doctor Bob should give Denver the pregame speech. I'm ready to run through a wall but seriously I had the inkling to bet Denver all week but now I feel more confident in my thinking. Well Tim this is exactly me. I bet plus five and a half on Denver just on instinct to the beginning of the week but then when you hear doctor Bob talk about it you're like I got a bit more which might not be the right move but that's how he makes you feel for sure. Tim wants to run through a wall and then there's Tommy E-44 Teddy who's clearly on the other side of this. He says I love the way that you all, I think he's you all he you all says I love the way that you all just concluded the entire line move is due to Nick's and Sidham completely ignoring any other aspect of Denver in New England that might cause moving. Well E-44 Teddy why don't you share with us? You're so smart about it. By the way I should point this out. Oh by the way I owe you S-69 thank you for reminding me to say it again because I don't want to just gloss over what happened. Couple segments ago he says is this fake news that Philip Rivers is going to interview for the bills had coaching job. He should be playing for Denver this weekend. This is not fake news
once again in case you missed it a segment or two ago at least two segments ago. Philip Rivers that guy that just came out of retirement at the age of 44 to play three games. For the Indian apolis Colts at quarterback. He is interviewing for the Buffalo Bills head coaching job today per Adam Schefter. Josh Allen will be sitting in on that interview as he is for all Buffalo Bills head coaching interviews with the Buffalo Bills brass. So if Josh Allen that's all it kind of feels like it takes. If Josh Allen says yeah kind of want Philip Rivers my head coach. I'm not so sure that Philip Rivers just to use the double negative isn't going to be the next head coach of the Buffalo Bills. We'll see. We'll see how it goes. He's interviewing. I'm sure Phillips wife and his 14 children are thrilled with the thought of being able to like move to Buffalo and partake in the views of Niagara Falls and all that has to offer. Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for Physic Fridays. Whether it's at the sports book or anywhere else in the casino, he's always helping us find an edge. It's time for Physic Fridays.
Starring the only back-to-back winner of the Hillman Super contest. Steve, Physic most recently tied for ninth place in circa million seven for a cool 70K. How was it parading around the casino with your big oversized check? Oh, it was so much fun. Potato commission was in front of me with this bigger check, you know, and it's like, I do think the best, the biggest checks should be bigger, right? They're all one size. In actual size. Yeah, right? That that was it was the was the single-file line based on most money one to to at least money one. There was no rhyme nor reason. There just said, Feds get in there, man. And what Derek's, but Derek says I do because you know what? I love Derek. I love how he's in touch with the street. I like this whole Canadian promotion for all those in Canada. They hate the US. Derek Stevens like brother love, you know, probably a bad example because he was ingenuous, but Derek Stevens loves you.
And he's willing to let you stay at his joints on par on par. So that means I don't know what the exchange rate is, whether you, it's 35% more expensive, whatever it is. It's not more expensive at all. You come to the US and you got your Canadian ID and boom. You're you're able to pay the Canadian rate for your room and $500 worth of gambling at the Canadian rate. How about that? It really is outstanding, especially given Derek's, you know, that he grew up in Michigan right stone throw to Canada. He's got a bar Canada in one of his hotels. It just makes so much sense. And it's like what all these other things. This is what when you have hands on the floor owner that gets it. And there's a gambler versus these these overpaid 19 like vice presence in charge of nothing at resorts world. You know, they're too busy barring Kelly Bidlin from playing Blackjack versus like coming up with a cool promotion or a
parking garage that I don't need to like call an Uber to drive me to their to their casino. Yeah. And Derek said in that video, he didn't say this part, but you know, the famous Sarah Palin thing which is I could see Russia from my window. Derek could actually see Canada from his window growing up where he lived there in Michigan. Right? Yeah. Gross boy. That's right. And he said his dad, I think went to the University of Toronto, which Debra Song fashion stylist will tell you is the Harvard of Canada. She always loves saying that to me. Oh, I don't know if that's true, but she always loves saying that. I am informed. And, you know, it's funny because I want to, like, as far as a vacation spot, I always say the bad parents take their kids to Vegas in July because it's so ghastly hot here. And the good parents, you know, go to Vancouver, you know, or Montreal and take their kids, you know, to Canadian vacations. I want to give sort of Dr. Bob was just on it. I want to give his street cred because I didn't at the top. Dr. Bob, 16, 8 and 1 on the show
this year. ATS. He ended up 16, 8 and 1 with his college football and pro football plays. He is now in the history of a numbers game. 138, 101 and 5. ATS, 58%. So that's over, you know, what is that? That's 200 and 244 picks. 58% over the course of his time here on a numbers game. That, of course, is a subset of his entire record, which he does for his clients, which is also just great historically, which brings up again that not all pick sellers are built like the others. Yeah. And I don't want to put the one 38, 101, etc. Because it's still just a drop in the bucket. Yes. All right. It is not significant enough. It sounds like a lot a hundred or a thousand. Believe me, you need a tens of thousands of trials. And guess what? The good doctor has those. That's why I bring it up. I don't know if you add up the exact numbers. I'm sure that basically it is right around, like just below 55% over the history of time everything that he's given out.
And yes, it was above 55% in recent history. It's well above the break even 52.4. But below 55% is the market has gotten more efficient. But the one thing I love, love, love about Dr. Bob Stoll, is other than this Denver New England game, he is not coming out and saying, hey, here's the game of the year. Here's the games horribly misled. And here's my three star battle galactica game of the century, like every seemingly every other person in this industry does on a weekly basis. On a weekly basis. And you sell picks, but you stay away from that kind of thing, correct? I, not entirely. Not entirely. And, you know what? And there are, I reserve it for plays that I really, really, really like. And what I mean by is you won't just do it because it's the NFC championship or the AC. Exactly. But I, but I mentioned it. It would be so rare that, oh, it's the NBA playoffs. Game six.
This is my game of the year. You see this all the time. Like, like some like miscellaneous game being played in Berlin under the radar in January. Nope. Can't find any value in a game like that. Or the entire team has the flu and they missed their, their flight. But no, it's, it's going to be one of the last games of the year. It's going to have the most value ever. Now, having said all that, I always use the example. Every now and then, the public just takes over a line. And the example I give is the L.A. Dynasty teams with, um, Tarel Davis, where that team was catching 12 in the Super Bowl against Green Bay. Right. So like, that's a good example when someone could come over the top and Billy Walters once said, um, the New Orleans Indianapolis Super Bowl, um, where he bet plus seven on the Saints and he was like, we made the game pick up. So every now and then, the public takes over a Super Bowl line. So it does happen. I just, I don't want to let go of this because we just had Bob on it. I'll forget if we, if we continue, and it'll be lost in it. But we were talking about this with WishingF the other day too about sample sizes,
his college basketball plays with constitutes a meaningful sample size, because he's my oldest friend right this weekend. Like he's texting me. Yeah. Yeah. I just signed up for some service and I'm like, what? Like what, what, what made you do this? Did you ever talk to me about this? Like, what are you doing? And Kraken, I talk about how like, even our best closest friends, they just do what they want to do and they believe whatever they believe. So I just want to ask you about a couple pet peeves. The folks who give you the, hey, I'm on a nine and one run, right? People get mesmerized by that. I just tweeted that, by the way, I was on a nine and one run. Did you? Yeah, I tweeted it. And then you're an awful person, right? Yeah, but I'm a good person today because I tweeted. I'm a doubly documented. Oh, and two on Thursday. So I was so, so I went ahead and put it up. Okay, but the point is, these, whatever it is in our human brains, right? That get mesmerized. They are more, they're more mesmerized by a nine and one than they are by the 58% number that I just gave for Bob, which is ridiculous. Exactly. People like he's seeing things
well, he's seeing the ball and here pulling back the curtain. I mean, and maybe I should just get out of the business. I can't make a living by just giving long term records. I mean, if I don't do that, and I don't ever hype a player, I don't do anything. Literally my compensation, the juices and worth the squeeze I may as well not even do it. And maybe the answer is I shouldn't do it. And you say that if you, that if you sold three picks, no one would blink in eye. But if you said, here's one three star game of the month, they would all buy that. I can, yeah, exactly. I can literally put up a package and say, 25 dollars, you get every single play I'm going to give out on a Sunday. Or I can give, this is my Battlestar Galactic. I don't know why you keep you as an exam. It's pretty cool. It's a good TV series. You know, game of the month, right? 25 dollars. Yeah. More people will buy the one play. And from their perspective, they're like, just give me a winner. I want to keep it simple. I don't want to have to, like, when he gives out his college basketball on a Saturday, he might give out 38 plays. Yeah. One play every 90 seconds.
You're looking, you're on a conference call for an hour. It shows you the power of marketing, right? Marketing just trumps all the way that things are packaged. But I'm going to get, if they sell, like, you go into a gourmet place, car bones and you bought order your steak very well done, right? And the chefs like, oh, boy, it's like, you can sell the customer what they want, you know? You know, the biggest TV pet peeve is on all this? How about the handicappers that take vacations and football season in December? Oh. But that's what I'm looking for for an accountant, right? On April 10th, I want to see him surfing and Hawaii having a good time. I mean, the point is, like, anyone, like, that's serious about this, it's going to be work, and they're, you know, what off? Steve's got plays next on a numbers game. It'd be, so these sports betting network. You're here because you want an edge. That's what separates listeners from winners. But let's be real. We get tweets speedy the book, Mr. Lucky pointing out that the look ahead line on Bronco's Patriots was Bronco's minus one and a half. I like Bob's conviction on that. That's why I brought it up. Because we had heard earlier from a tweet, well, they said that the look ahead line would have been the Patriots minus one and a half with Bonix. That was never the case. Jordan Pagel
would love to hear physics contest strategy thoughts on having multiple entries in something like millions. Does having more entries give you big advantage? Or are you making it harder on yourself to find the Patriots, my best years seem to have come from just one. This is an object they came up the other day with crack. Yesterday with crack, I'm curious your thoughts on this. Yeah, so there's diminishing returns. The first entry is worth the most. Same thing with Survivor. It makes it's easier. It's more elegant and survivor because you can't just throw in the same teams. Right. All 20 weeks, right? So at some point, you've got to take divergent paths, and obviously your best entry takes the best path. And your second entry takes the second best path. And now the one exception to the rule. And people have done this before. I think derbified it is. If you do happen to be lucky enough to have two entries in the top five. The last week. It makes sense that whatever you pick for your five best picks, that's going to be your number one pick. Yeah, you go opposite with your entry in fifth because now you get that perfect anti-correlation
that one entry does poorly. Now you know that that fifth place entry is going to roar. It's going to soar upwards because you're probably going to play a lot. Your number one entry is going to take a lot of the place. The two, three and four guys are going to take as well. Yeah, Jordan Pegel was asking specifically about millions. I was making the point, however, inarticulately yesterday with crack, where I was sort of saying, I have always believed in the survivor stuff that there is a, there is a point of redundancy for me in my place, right? But big but now. But now we have the age of folks, not that we didn't before, but now it's rampant where we have, I'll say it, poker players generally, right? Who have decided and figured out, well, I don't have to stop at 10, right? If I am in control of 50, right, or whatever the number is, then I've got, then I am gaming the game to some degree. Now that doesn't guarantee that somebody who has access to that many entries or is involved in that many entries will get to the promised land. But it certainly does
mathematically lean towards someone that does have that will. And there's a guy, almost one back-to-back years fluff, right? And he said he had 60 of them. It's right. I talked to fluff. I had a really good conversation. He has produced some really great content. But I screamed at him, Gil, because he's like, he's like, he comes on and I said, I lost last year just a little under 100 units after winning 250 units, the five years before. And so he comes off, as it's obviously washed up. And it goes back to this whole, like, oh, Todd Wischneff's clearly washed up. He washed up. Clearly washed up. Clearly washed up. He lost 20 units. That's right. But he just won 100 units. It's like you're going to have, you know, Todd could lose another 50 units. And he could win another 50 units. And it's like, look at the long-term sample. But getting back to it, like, like, if you're going to have 60 entries, this is a J-O-B. And you know what? Probably not going to be some time leftover to bet NHL props. And everything else, you're going to be managing all of these entries. And think about the time commitments. And the, like,
my goodness. This is from, let's see, want to get to the next one here. This is also a question for you. This is from Torch D. Oh, Torch D. You want to put this ad in your panties. He says, can you ask phesic? How many people need to be in a room for there to be a 50% chance that two of them share the same birthday? 23? 23. It's the birthday paradox. It's a great severe in a classroom or something. And there's 30 people. It's like a 70% bet. And everyone will take you up on it because they'll say, well, no, it's only 30 divided by 365. You know, the one iteration. But they don't realize that even though it's unlikely, you know, that he's you put that many people and you have 23 kicks at the can and at a 10% chance of a match, you know, boom, or 10 kicks at the can, you're going to get one. Dan Groschel. Phesic says, battle star galactic is a good show. If it's not on a paramount plus, he asks, is it really a good show? Getting back to our paramount plus the scholarship earlier. And then Mike P. at 15 Royals, 15 Chief. Little Kansas City shout it said, is there any correlation to this Broncos
team and the early 90s Giants team that want a Super Bowl with a backup quarterback? You're talking about Jeff Hosteller versus Jared Stidham. Jeff Hosteller had more of an NFL pedigree by the time the Giants won the Super Bowl after the 1990 season with him. He had played two full seasons, three full seasons by then. So it was a little bit different. Like you, even though he was a backup quarterback, you kind of knew what you had in Hosteller. We're Stidham. You don't know anything. Boy, I'm old enough to, I don't know if I, I don't know if I agree. I think that we, we, we, we, it was a complete unknown in both cases. I don't think Hosteller only played like 15. Oh, by the way, I'm sorry. You know what? I'm mistaken about that. Forgive me. Hosteller played full seasons after that Super Bowl. Yes. Hosteller was more, was an unknown commodity as well to a degree. He had played a few games, but no more than Stidham actually at that point. Yes. But somehow I felt like at that point, I had seen more of Hosteller, but again, that's just my memory messing up. I, but that's the Super Bowl where they were six and a half
point dog against Buffalo, right? Yeah. And they went out right. Well, let's put it this way. He had played more play off games than just the championship game. Fair enough. And Stidham said nothing. Yeah. Um, that's how my memory is on it. But you're right. I mean, it's an interesting comparison. Hosteller was very serviceable for that Giants team where Bill Parcells openly said with Hosteller in, we are shortening the games. We're shortening the games. And by the way, you know, is there a parallel between this Broncos defense and that Giants defense? Well, that Giants defense had LT. So Broncos defense is good, but wasn't that good on that one. Um, back to the thing before we were talking about before we get to your plays here. Or actually, since we're talking about the Broncos, would you like to share your Broncos play? I believe Dr. Bob has this coverage. Yeah. Denver plus four. Now go back and listen to the previous segment on ANG and Dr. Bob will fill a buster away. And why there's no chance that New England's the correct side. And anyone that is betting on New England is, they might, they, they, they, they still might win 50 or
46% of the time. Yeah. It's a good play. You know, Denver is a good play, but I want to caution everyone just because like, you know, you, you, you've, you've said, oh, I'm, I'm tempted to go on bet five times more on what I bet previously. It's called hyperbole Steve. Okay. Um, but people might take the hyperbole series. Well, I said that afterwards. I said not really, but it makes you more. Don't bet more than three percent of your bank girl. Do you not listen to what happens after the comma? You tune out and you're like, I got to talk about this. You know, Todd is the king of like, oh, thanks for ignoring me, Stevie. It's like, I never read the tech. I don't like. Oh, he hates. He goes. He thinks I'm just like for losing. I mean, like one third of the time I missed your tennis place because they're in, they got lost in what I call the attention span of a flea. That's what I'm saying. What did you say? You have the attention span as a flea. Exactly. Goldfish. Goldfish. What? 30 seconds. All right. Denver Brock was plus four and a half. You also have a prop in this game. Or like ball security, right? Especially New England. Drake May has just been a horrific with the ball. And he got bailed out by Stroud being worse, right?
Don't turn the ball over. Hand the ball to Stevenson. Don't take risks. We're favored in this game rightly or wrongly. And so first quarter under 52 and a half pass yards. That's a draft. Kings. I think it's an outstanding wager because my game script is that I know Will Hill is going to be betting high after the first quarter. And when it's zero, zero. That's right. He's going to be like, I'll text. It's looking good. And Todd will start screaming at me for texting that. What is your problem? That's my problem. He's asked you a million times. Stop doing it. I've stopped. Then Will Hill did it. Will Hill did it. And I agreed with Will. And Todd got mad at me on one game. Well, he just doesn't like you that much. All right. Second game. NFC Championship. As some would call it. The de facto Super Bowl. You have a prop in the Ramsey Hawks game. Yeah. So I really think Seattle's a bend and not break defense. Right. So I fully expect the Ram so they'll take what they're given. And I think they're going to matriculate slowly down the field. I mean, they got the MVP.
Why not throw the ball? They got three capable tight ends. And just having followed the markets for whatever reason. Um, we're seeing that Parkinson is getting more looks than Ferguson and Ferguson's getting more looks than Higby. Um, my friend, the hitman who's like the greatest prop better in the world that no one knows about. Um, I think that hitman 428. Um, now he won like 100 units on his props this year. Just incredible. And he gave them out on game day. How is that even possible? Um, he sure did on game day. On game day. On game day. Yep. And like literally like like we, we stopped talking about Greenland or Denmark. And it's like, hitman as a prop. And like, whatever we're discussing, like goes into the garbage can. We're trying to get down. Um, but Parkinson's the go to guy. So over two and a half catches. Or you could play over 22 and a half yards. But I'm going to go over two and a half catches for Parkinson. The tight end. I like all the tight ends. But I would say that, um, he is the one to go ahead and go with.
Okay. So Broncos plus four and a half. Drake may first quarter passing yards under 52 and a half. Available draft Kings. And Rams tight end Colby Parkinson. Over two and a half catches for the Los Angeles Rams. But no side or total in that. And probably have enough outs. You should be able to get that plus four and a half reduced vague. I there's plenty of minus 105 out there. Or if you certainly have, you know, access to a prophet X or a betting exchange, you're going to do better than minus one. How much are you, how much are you betting? Are you doing on profit exchange? Or on betting exchanges? I don't know. Um, and, and when I'm answering it that way, sometimes every now and then I'll have a mover. And I, and I don't like like wait, don't ask, don't tell. I just, I say, well, get me the best number in Denver. And he'll come back and say, hey, you got Denver plus four and a half minus 106. I don't, I just don't ask any questions. Steve Fesik. Well, establishing plausible deniability front of everybody. See what you're doing there. Steve Fesik, uh, more on the other side. And including, I should say, uh, his thoughts on the whole big, beautiful build gambling related saga.
The gambling parts of the big, beautiful bill that is. That and more. More Fesik on a numbers game. Advice in these sports betting network. A numbers game on Fesik, these sports betting network. Look at that chicken wings. Football meets flavor with visa and Omaha steaks. The official sponsor of tailgaining. And right now when you spend $129, you could score two pounds of fully cooked chicken wings plus 50% offside white at Omaha steaks.com. Slash V.S.I.N. Don't wait. Spend $129. Get two pounds of wings. Pounds of them. And say 50% of side white on steaks and more at OmahaStakes.com. Slash V.S.I.N. That's OmahaStakes.com. Slash V.S.N. Minimum purchase required C.S.C. or details. Gill Alexander. Steve Fesik alongside everybody. By the way, Paul Zang tweets and he goes, so everyone's on the Broncos you say. Everybody but Zach Cohen Paul. He was the only one on the show this week
with the Patriots and laid the points. And those sawmatch was sort of saying if it got to a number he would, to four, he would then do it. Todd, Kenarcy, born 65. Can you please ask Fesik if he had just his bet size if he misses the best of the number. He bet Denver plus four and a half. But could have got five or five and a half. Good, good tweet. Todd, Kenarcy, born 65. Because you're always the guy who's like, how can you recommend this bet? It was this before. You're that guy. 100%. So I tried a bet size not based upon what was available previously. I tried a bet size based upon the closing number. I bow to the efficiency of the marketplace. Maybe this is a game where the close might be inefficient. It's certainly possible. But I have no qualm playing plus four and a half if a game's going to close plus four. But I'll be the first to admit, hey, what's this? If there's new England money and it closes at five, I will feel like an utter ass realizing, hey, I could have had five and a half. And I didn't get there.
Now, I'm recommending plus four and a half. But I didn't give it out to my clients until this morning. I mean, in my own pocket, I hate doing this. Never mind. Just put me down for plus four and a half. Okay. That's my number one pet peeve. I talked to Bill all the time about this. I don't want a host to come on and say in their pocket or they bet plus 10. Well, they still recommended plus eight. Unless they gave it out. Unless they gave it out earlier. If they gave it out earlier, we're 100% and you just happen to be not listening, right? I have to not be listening. I'm busy. But my point is it is like, don't tell me like, like conjecture about what, what I can't get in my time machine. All the list, anyone who's listening to you and I right now, they want recommendations at the current numbers in terms of what we think is a good bet. And another thing that I'm a pet peeve that I really can't stand is this whole like, oh, I'm pot committed. If I give out a play plus three and a half, I hear this all the time. Would you still... Cash in tickets is what it's all about.
And a half. Ladies and gentlemen. Potty, mouth, Steve Fezick making an appearance. I blame it on the chicken wings for all my husbands. I'm against the burger. I love the burger. Let me ask you a question. You're smarty pants. You know everything. Let me ask you a question. Before the season starts, before the next regular season starts, because you've got all these opinions, you've got all these convictions, you've got a lot of opinions on what people do wrong. By the way, I don't know if we've caught Fezick's act on Twitter at Fezick Sports. The man's got opinions. Are you doing your... You sort of... You started this last year. Are you doing your little... I don't even know what you want to call it. It's not a conference. There are conferences around August time, right before the football season starts. But you do something else. Yeah, by the way, I'm wrong all the time. Yeah. All the time, you know, and it's funny too close to the sun. So I had an NFL season. I just looked at it. I'm like down 30 units in the NFL, and I won 79 units in college football. Yeah. I know nothing about college football. Can't name a player. You can name one, Steve. I have faith in you.
All right, probably so. Yeah. So after that, I dropped below the Mendoza line in terms of... Who played quarterback for Indiana? So there we go. Who played quarterback for Indiana? There we go. Yeah. But my point is that... It's funny, because I argue with poor Scott Seidenberg, he's like, no one's gonna remember Mendoza. I'm like, Scott, that's the only player I know. Every... Every bird in 1979, everyone's gonna... I said, if Indiana wins the championship, everyone's gonna remember the 2025, you know, Mendoza season, you know, 50 years from now. Of course. But that's only because they won the championship. It was a bunch of weekies, you know, with that. But the point is, I'm wrong all the time, and a lot of people are wrong all the time, because the NFL is so difficult to beat that you could study it, and you can model it, and you can come up with everyone, everything, but you're just not going to find the same opportunities as you will in the other sports. And that's why I applaud your attacking tennis. Others are attacking golf. Those are far more beatable sports. I encourage everyone to go for those smaller markets
if you truly want to get the highest edges. You didn't answer my question, though. What are you doing in August? Don't you have some events? Yes, so I, last summer, I did a boot camp. All right, with Kevin O'Neill. And it was, you know, we had great attendance. You came, Todd came, Bill AD came. Todd was spectacular. Todd was just a star talking about live betting. And so the highlight, frankly, of it was not me. It was just me. Crackman was, you know, like talk and shop. Just bringing in experts, Anthony Curtis, advantage playing, just various different people coming in and talking about the niches that they are best at. And Las Vegas, Chris was there. You know, Jared Smith talked about the home run hitting contest. And now he handicaps the pitchers, not the hitters. Because all these guys are great hitters. And if they just have like a guy that they're working with that can throw them the right meatballs, they're going to keep hitting home runs.
Home run Derby, you talk about this. Yeah. So you're doing it again. And this one, yeah, I don't have details yet, but 100%, you know, back by popular demand. And I'm still in contact with a whole bunch of people and made, you know, made friends, you know, from that group. And Kevin and I did this like 10, 15, like 12 years ago. And then we stopped for a while. And now with the legalization of sports game, we've got busy. And now we're like, it's a great time to bring it back. Are you, are you counter-programming against betbashes? Is that what you're doing, Stevie? No, betbashes outstanding. I've attended betbash many times. You know, and it's interesting because I pride myself on being a guy that I can disagree with you or I can agree with you. You know, not everyone's right. I'm wrong all the time. I mean, I like, like when Spanky talks, he's very anti-talent. And you know, for the most part, I would say 90% of what Spanky says I agree with. You know, this is Spanky. But there are exceptions to every rule. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. And so like Dr. Bob is great. BigL.com is great.
Carl, NBA guru is great. There's like, like, there's fantastic people all over the place in the industry. Scott Pritchard and his success in these contests look no further than that. By the way, this is why you love contests too because when people are talking about records and people are bashing other people, at least with contests, right? It's all there for everybody to see. Yes. You love that. 100% night. But I do feel a little bit like Bet Bash is Bet Bash tout. And you know, and that's fair because most of the touts deserve to be bashed. Like, my pet peeve, and you know this, is instead of going to a boot camp like in August, this really isn't unbelievable to me. It seems like there's so many companies. It's like, it's a big joke, big party. Like, it's the end of August, early September. The season's about to start. We're desperately working on all these teams and evaluations. And yet, why is it all these tout companies seem to have time to like have a big party, you know? Like, woo, let's go out to Vegas and play a bunch of roulette and slots and Dumbo, really huge disadvantageous games.
That's not the experts I know. The experts I know are like getting ready for the season or if they are gambling, they're playing no limit poker. They're chasing slot promotions. They're playing everything at an advantage. Anthony Curtis style. Thanks for not cursing again. I thought you were getting ginned up there. Oh goodness. Okay. One last thing before you go, because we've got a couple minutes here. And we don't usually veer into politics. And this is really politics, because I think we're all on the same side of this one. But the big beautiful bill and the 90% deduction deal on gambling winnings, which justifiably has all betters up in arms about it. It has caused a lot of people to say, I'm just not going to bet anymore or I'm reducing what I do on this. I can't do this for the year. Because I think most people, and you'll correct me if I'm wrong. I think most people believe this will get rectified. But that we might have to live with it for a year. Yeah. And the bottom line is that if you itemize every one of your sessions
as each individual bets, you can no longer bet. All right. If that's how you're going to do it. I don't know if we need to, I've got to talk to my count. If that's how you're going to do it, then you've got to see spending. If you're a poker player and you've got to count every tournament as a separate data point, and you can only deduct 90% of your losses, well, you could break even. You could make five million, lose five million, and now you're in the hook for 500,000 in income. I mean, it's not viable. Here's my frustration with it. Three years from now, there's zero chance that this will still be in and legislation. So given that, given that we all know we're going to get here in 2029, why can't we just fix it immediately? People, there should be an auto fix with all the politicians immediately. But these politicians, I go back to what's this state of Illinois. They put a 50 cent tax on every major that someone makes. So now, Illinois gambling, it's the only state that the gambling is going down. There's a 15% drop. Because guess what? You can't just slap an egregious sin tax on something.
And there's nobody that sees us and draws the line and say, hey, maybe we should do something about this. It's just like maybe one phone call to Bill Crackman and he'll tell you, listen, Dumbos, this isn't going to work. You are correct on this, though, in terms of what frustrates you the most. Because I agree with you. It feels like everybody, and that includes some of the most of the politicians, right? They know that this is wrong, but we just don't have the mechanism to turn it around. It's unconstitutional. You can't just tell because you're a pizza company. We're not going to let you deduct pepperonis or mushrooms from your expense. Thanks for putting it in terms I can understand. Appreciate it, Steve. Steve, you know, it was good through, and we did have one issue there in the middle, but I appreciate the rest of it being good. I'll improve. Steve Fesik, everybody, at Fesik Sports, follow him on Twitter at your own peril. You're out of here now, buddy. Kelly's coming back. We'll talk more football on the other side right here on a numbers game at Visa.
A numbers game on Fesik, the sports betting network. Back on a numbers game live from the Cirqueurs or Casino downtown Las Vegas, Gill Alley's, Anna, and back in his chair. Here's my only requirement for this segment. The person who sits in that chair must not curse, so we brought Kelly back in. What the? No. Steve Fesik, ladies and gentlemen. One of a kind. What a potty mouth. Yeah. Get it on a control, Steve. Jeez. And on a control. We get tweets made in the book, Jack Olaquire. Gill listening to a numbers game on football Fridays always warms the cockles of my heart. How do you feel about those in your heart, by the way? Pretty good. Unfortunately, they're rarely warm. Unfortunately, that doesn't help much when walking the puppy in minus 25, negative 25 degree windshields in Chicago, looking forward to coming into Vegas for the Super Bowl. When hopefully it'll be warmer. Yeah, we'll be guaranteed to be warmer than that. Frank Miggit 11. Open pronouncing that right. He says, I looked on your afkings didn't see it.
Any books have over two and a half players to attempt a pass in New England, Denver? Oh, I'm sure it's out there somewhere. I know we see this prop for the Super Bowl. He says wasn't sure if maybe it's out there. RJ Harvey, half back pass is what he's calling. Ryan Thompson. Whoa. Didn't realize Fesik was going to be going blue this morning. Save that for the midnight show. Fairway Fred. Growing up catting for a bookmaker, he told me 50 years ago. You can win in college football, but not in the NFL. Roxy Roxper, a legendary Roxy Roxper once said that to me at, uh, at, um, restaurant where he said, uh, Gil, nobody, nobody beats the NFL. Nobody. He didn't mean a week. He didn't mean a month. He didn't mean a season. He just meant over the long term. Doctor, how's the food? Oh, it's fantastic. It was me. It was me, uh, Roxy and my Mishbucha, Chrissy Andrews. I like you blanked on the restaurant. Oh, yeah. No. What's the, uh, God bless America? What's going on with me? The restaurant right next to the Westgate, the famous Las Vegas restaurant,
where they shot Casino. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. I should not have asked this. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. I have reached that age where I can pull the first letter out of my brain, but not the word sometimes. I think that was the first restaurant I ever ate at when I moved after moving to Las Vegas. Really? Yeah. You know, who was performing there? Uh, still not that night, but was still performing there when I went there with those guys. Pia Zedora. Like it was such an old school flashback. Yeah. It's an old school field. It's pretty cool. Dr. Van Nostred. Curious about, oh, thank God. He was. Thank God I missed this tweet before Fezig left or still after Fezig left. Curious about Fezig's opinion on the team up one in the fourth. Score goes up seven. It seems automatic. Very team to go up eight. Almost no one goes for two to go up nine. Also is Fez Mel Kuiper's uncle. That last part, yes. I believe he is. Same here. Just share it. Bob Stoll getting into it. Dr. Bob getting into it with a E44 Teddy on Twitter. E44 Teddy was suggesting that somehow the line moved on something besides the next
stitum thing. And Bob's like, what else could cause an additional three to four points of movement? I love these kinds of things. I was like, we got a curious tweet earlier about that. Well, that's what he's responding to, I think. Fezig was making the point at the beginning of the show. As Fez was leaving the studio, he made the point. He goes, well, the New England defense is healthier. It's true. And I said to him, I go, yeah, but is that moving the line? He goes, well, maybe a point. I go, I disagree. Yeah. To which Fezig said. Oh, quarterback. Fezig goes, yeah, I'm wrong. A lot. Tronsky. There isn't by chance live footage of Kelly directing wildly for the dump button when Fezig accidentally cursed live. That would be priceless to share. I'm just a social media director. I'm not actually a director in real life. It's a, for Larry and Darnell back there. But yes, there was a scramble for the dump button. And Mike, thanks for keeping the boys on their toes, Steve. And Mike, and everybody loves that. Everybody got to the dump button, right? We got to inside. And Mike, I thought my feed went goofy while listening last segment. Turns out it was just the dump button being deployed because of Pottymouth Fezig. Confirmed we got to the dump button in time. Who has cursed on this? It is the, it is a people that you would least suspect.
Fezig? Dr. Bob. Dr. Bob did it multiple times this year. Yeah, but he doesn't know. I don't, I'm convinced. He doesn't know one word is a bad word. You know, he always uses the same word. And I'm just convinced he doesn't know it's bad. Knowing Bob for as long as I have you are correct. And then didn't Felica curse once too? Yeah, he's on the Felica, dude. All these guys. Felica is what we were counting your television Emmys earlier. Swore on live television. Wait, did he swear today? No. Oh, okay, I was gonna say. But today we were counting his, oh, his Emmys. Maybe he gets an Emmy. Maybe one of those Emmys is her swearing. Here are the, here are the bets made. The very first bet made on today's show, which I have not repeated. But I will say it again. And I don't know what her number is now. I will go check. But, um, I am on Nicola Barton Kova at plus 350. I actually got a plus 375 here at Circa, but consensus was plus 350 on Nicola Barton Kova. She is a 19 year old. Chechi and tennis player who has gotten through Daria Cacettkina and Belinda Benchich already in this tournament.
I have her against Elise Mertens today, the Belgian. Um, Barton Kova, I explained again before. I was so mad at myself for not playing her against Cacettkina because the numbers pointed to that. I had deeper grip. I would never have taken her against Benchich. Zach Cohen did for a quarter unit. He nailed it on that. But I am on Barton Kova today at plus 350 versus Elise Mertens. And by the way, I did get one tweet about Barton Kova earlier. It's down the show. I was seeing 330 in draft games. 330. Okay. This is from, uh, oh, I missed it. But somebody tweeted about Barton Kova. Basically, it was a whole piece about her. And she, and he was like, wow, 19 years old, six with three. Six three. She's not six three. Six. I gotta get her from her height, exactly. But she is six feet tall. That's for sure. Um, I'm also on the Broncos, plus five and a half again from guessing lines earlier in the week versus the Patriots. Made that bet. And again, Bob makes you want to run through a wall. Get us as one tweeter said. And as I said earlier, makes you want to bet more. Try to fight that urge. Stevie didn't listen to after the comma.
But that's, I'm on the Broncos was five and a half. He corroborates with numbers back to tennis. By the way, the Australian open futures. Jesse Pagula to win the Australian open Naomi Osaka, uh, Osaka to win in an ega. Shfion tech to win in all three of them. Uh, Osaka's fiat tech are in the same quarter. Pagula's in their same half. But I got three ladies to win it at various prices. Pagula being the longest 31 to one. Naomi at 19 to one ega plus five 25. Lorenzo Moussetti to win the third quarter at plus 650. He's got a big test today against Tomas Mahatch. And then Jesse Pagula to win the third quarter at four to one. Let's go Jesse. She has not been tested yet. Um, I think we're winning at least one of those. Kelly Bidley. What do you got? Some of the most important cova listed at one point eight two meters. There we go. Six feet. We've switched to the metrics system. Finally, zero inches. How annoying would we be if we just did that from now on would be very annoying. Yes, very annoying. Uh, okay, for me, today, one NBA play tonight Celtics team total over one 12 and a half.
This is a, uh, they are playing the next tonight. They are big favorites with a lower total no Derek white for the Celtics tonight. Yeah, maybe a little bit of a bounce back for the nets after that big time beat down by the Nick's the other night. But like the team total over just isolating that here with the Celtics instead of laying eight and a half points with such a low total, then NFL this weekend, I have the Patriots to close out to Moneyline Parlay with Indiana under 47 and a half on the Rams Seahawks. The totals by the way of where we've seen the most movement this total is ticking down mainly 46 and a half now on the on the Rams Seahawks and then Denver, New England. As we talked about earlier, ticking up a couple points, Rashid Shaheed then over a half rushing yard at minus one 45. Yeah, I laid that there was like three and a half out there, four and a half out there now. That number's going up as well. And then Shaheed had the most rushing yards in conference championship week at 100 to
what? Well, hope of that one end around that goes about 80 yards, Gil, and then every other game is a lot of pass is possible. Seahawks six to one the win the NFC, unless I see a flat three pop, I think I'm just riding with that through the weekend here and the hypothetical look ahead for the Superbowl Rams laying three against the Patriots. We talked way more about the Patriots and the Broncos that we did the Rams of the Seahawks, but are you no preflop side for you in that game? No, no, I'm just going to be rooting on my future ticket and I like the under I do like the under though. I think we've seen that Rams offense struggle and against bad defenses. This Seahawks defense is going to be ready to play. And yeah, I wouldn't I wouldn't count out some darn old struggles along the way. I, I, I may bet the Rams were all said and done. I would blame you, man. A better football team. Car premier league bets, Tottenham tomorrow to win at Burnley plus 105 Sunday. Crystal Palace Chelsea over two and a half goals minus one twenty five arsenal. Man, you under two and a half goals at plus one fifteen also on the show today after
Paul Car came on Chris Felica joined us. He has three bets in the horses Gulfstream race seven at Gulfstream Park turf sprint. The number three horse litigation at five to one. Then the ninth race at Gulfstream, the William Elmick night stakes Kelly, look at the delicate care that what what happens when you add a producer who actually knows horse racing and puts the actual. Yeah, you get the little, you get the little numbers for the horses, the six horse in their colors. The six horse missed the cut at six to one in Gulfstream race number nine and then the Pegasus World Cup, which is the 11th race of Gulfstream. He's on banishing at twenty to one, the four horse about that soccer bets. League one, he's on Marseille plus 105 versus, I believe it's loans. Is that he pronounced lens lens? Yeah, I always thought I'd always thought it was different too. But Felica said it and I was like, huh? He's on Spartacus 125 to one in the Kentucky Derby as well. There's a future play for you and in hockey. How about this? Jack Adams award for the best coach, Dan Muse of the penguins at 30 to one. Jordan Sherwood's UFC three, 24 bets.
Patty Pimble in the main inside the distance versus just engaging. Sean O'Malley in the co main minus 200 versus song. Get on Natalia Silva by decision versus Thug Rose. John silver versus Arnold Allen by decision as well. And then the Silva Silva Moneyline parlay at minus one, 33. And then Doctor Bob famously on the Broncos plus four and a half versus the Patriots. And then Fez was also on that, plus Drake. May 1st quarter passing yards under 52 and a half in Colby. Bargots, over two and a half catches in the Rams game. Properly, Prophet Poison's next enjoy. Enjoy. And then doctor Bob famously on the Broncos, plus four and a half versus the Patriots. And then Fez was also on that plus Drake. May 1st quarter passing yards under 52 and a half at Colby. Bargots in over two and a half catches in the Rams game.
