If the third best team in the ACC had won the national title you believe I had the paperwork already already filled out to claim this national title on behalf of Duke football who of course won the sunbowl in spectacular fashion we went on we went to the sunbowl and we beat the sun devils I mean to come up with a more impressive bowl I can't I love that they gave you paperwork though that's the best part I know yeah to fill that out every fan that's the fill that every guy who attended the school it's right well not everybody they attended school but some someone with authority needs to claim it right there's no you know

3:09you know like how they some of these schools have national title claims for like the 1898 you know national title and stuff like that well right you know you got to fill out the paperwork or else it's not valid and then when they take it away from your violation they take the paper away I take it right it's actually they put a giant red stamp on it it's very embarrassing all right well I'm sorry I didn't I'm sorry the the hurricanes didn't cooperate so that you could come on the show and talk about that that way but there it is once again we talked about earlier other than that though yeah no skin for me in the minor league football championship mine let's talk about the major let's talk about the majors then for a second everyone how did your divisional round go did the uh did your why magic carpet ride of betting in the NFL continue individual round yeah I did winning weekend uh I had Broncos which was gift uh I had Seahawks which was hilarious that one was that one I got so you know that one uh closed bad uh and I was a little nervous

4:09going into that game and then by halftime I was just by halftime how about after the first play of the game first play of the game I was like oh I guess we're I'm even up now and uh yeah it's just just just win from here um but yeah that one was great uh patriots and the over for me on Sunday morning was awesome uh that Kishan booty touchdown took me over and really kind of clinched the patriots cover for me and I was just running around like a maniac excited because that was such a good such a good play such a good catch what a catch um and then uh I had I laid Rams that was my loser um if boy was it close though if that fourth down touchdown doesn't get converted with what I said and then I'm really then I'm just absolutely laughing four four on sides you know what I had had myself a little party but um ultimately the Rams come through that's my entire futures book so that was a relief um and that game was entertaining this can be you just have to tip your hat to what Caleb Williams did yes he did he had like Andy and I joking you know

5:11I don't know if you know this um and uh I can't remember if we've nominated you before but uh the uh the week between the um championship games in the Super Bowl when there's nothing to talk about we do the uh the the diabetes uh where we give out our NFL awards uh for the season um and they have a gambling today you know twist to him obviously and um but this year we have a new category which is going to be the top throw of the year and uh it's just going to be four Caleb Williams throws I think the two that he had in the Packers game the one that the Ed to tie it and the one to win it uh the second you know the Packers throw it from fourth down that uh that could got them back into that game and then his fourth down touchdown against the Rams was just unreal I I still can't understand how that happened that was that was one of the most ridiculous things I've seen on a football field I mentioned I mentioned yesterday that I had a visceral reaction the only comp of which was the Minneapolis miracle when Stefan Diggs got behind the state defense where I slid my whole body slid down in my chair my arms went over my head

6:15this is exactly what happened with the Caleb touchdown like you just can't process a immediately your brain is a beat behind what just happened you're like what oh my god um by the way you said hey for the Rams to come back and uh win after that that's it's hard of a champion stuff if I've ever seen it here we go and they got to earn it true there's no going voting on it that's right true they have to actually do it before you cast yours like stomping for it it's yours loving this is college football yeah that's right uh okay so knowing that you have Rams futures it in in tow how do you see these two games here this weekend on Sunday I'm adding Rams if it gets to three um but two and a half is not I don't sincerely object to that price um I I'm closer to a pick but obviously the difference between two and a half and a pick in this type of game is pre-negotiable um I think that total uh is a bit high um but I haven't played it yet um the um matchup of interest for me and that one is obviously McVeigh's offense versus Mcdonald's defense

7:20Mcdonald had every answer in the book to just uh make the wizard Kyle Shanahan look inept two times in three weeks uh he is cooking with gas right now they have a very relatively you know healthy defense with you know elite players at all three levels I don't I don't I'm not 100% sure what the plan is for McVeigh here and um I'm very hopeful that like I'm hopeful he's not just overthinking things a little bit did he look like he was the other day I mean good god that was not good from him yes yeah I mean if you're gonna grade McVeigh on his performance in Chicago I think he gets like a D maybe a D plus um I guess I'm gonna give him a D plus because he finally pulled his head out of his behind in the over you know the final drive over time um but uh you know the the writing was on the wall pretty clearly to you know to try to use your heavy personnel and um you know and and really get the uh get things going on the ground and instead it was almost like he overthought it and he was like we're gonna catch him by surprise

8:23and have staffer throw them all 50 times and that was um a poor decision considering the elements in the conditions and and honestly like the Bears defense and again the Bears defense played up obviously which affected things but um yeah I'm I'm a little concerned that McVeigh is in his head because the plan that McVeigh had for the Bears is probably what he should do to the Seattle I don't think the Rams are gonna get much going on the ground in this contest uh Seattle's run defenses pretty much perfect um and I think the Rams are gonna have to find ways to uh to be creative with their um heavy your personnel in passing sets probably um and I would like to see them really exercise some of the second you know some of the the tight end uh opportunities where you can get you know some of the linebackers for the CX aren't quite as good in coverage as you would you know you would hope if you were uh you know I'm gonna stop 12 and 13 personnel consistently so um that's I think what he ought to do now whether he does that I you know who knows like like I said McVeigh doesn't seem to um he's not thrown in his fastball for some reason uh and hopefully he's

9:28saving it for this game because he's gonna need it so uh on the other side matchup wise Rams defense impressed Bigley uh against the Bears obviously you know the play we mentioned was a bit of a broken play but uh otherwise I thought they stepped up uh pretty impressively and uh came up with some really key stops now you can move the ball pretty consistently on them if you can play clean football I don't know that I trust Sam Donald to do that uh I think that the game probably is going to be decided based on how effective the interior D line is for the Rams in generating quick pressure on Sam Donald up the middle uh the interior offensive line for the Seahawks is still a weakness um they are a bit of a boom bust running attack um there's definitely a world here where I think the Rams defense can keep the Seahawks into the high teens uh in which case they just need to get to 20 uh and uh if I'm gonna make a call call Rams uh 2317 there it is calls a score the McVeigh thing I don't want to gloss over that the McVeigh thing is a little concerning I mean I always

10:30talk about that I think the definition of a great coach is one who can adjust on the fly right because just be able to see that whatever you prepared for all week long hey look my exes and those aren't working I'm tossing this out he just could not get out of this mode they had 11 carries like deep into the third quarter you know that was their tally at that point that has to concern you a little bit that you can become that myopic yeah oh concerns me a lot my entire book on the Rams was based on like this is the coaching quarterback with the most experience uh the idea of like standing back and being like McVeigh wins three super bowls in his career sure yeah yeah they had no no uh no no flag there um but uh what he has done to this point through two playoff games has been a little bit confusing and um yeah yeah I'm not sure what's going on but it does have me uh it does have me it does that my head on a swim well I also mean you know Stafford didn't play very good that was just gonna say Stafford's been tricky too yeah this is now yeah this

17:41for those who missed it when watching college football last night and Jeff Hathley hired as the Miami Dolphins do head coach he of course the couple so a couple defensive guys for Tennessee and Miami okay Drew to New England and Denver what are your thoughts did you bet anything here uh I have Patriots to win the AFC that I am stakes like sticking to and I thought this was going to be a more fun handicap than if it was just Bo next Patriots because there's obviously a moving part that is solvable but you know the this kind of trying to come up with the right downgrade to stitum uh is I don't know it though there's no real basis for it you just kind of are going with your opinion and you're gonna back fill all the reasons why I think um so it's pretty much a stay away I don't think I'm probably even gonna watch this game but obviously uh

19:50it's gonna be very cool to see the downhill and the supergy and the women's combined there um a decent chance that we get Lindsey Bonn and Michaela Schifrin as a team for the USA which is pretty cool they'll be heavy favorites to win the women's combined I would guess um but it's gonna be a lot of fun to to see and ski uh Cortina alta bodya the dolomites um fired up any more uh any betting numbers we have on anybody's hosting stuff yet I find any things I'm waiting for I'm still waiting for uh actual specific markets um so I don't have anything that now there's really not a lot of liquidity outside of maybe some prediction markets but I will tell you that if you are looking to kind of get into the spirit of things and you want to see something very very cool um watch the winning run from Wengen Switzerland men's doubt alpine downhill last weekend um the best skier on earth is the Swiss guy Marco Otermott and this is effectively his home course where he's won four in a row and uh it is such a cool course it's basically looks like a pops like

20:54course it's crazy that these guys are on skis doing this and uh it is whole entire hillside is just the whole entire hillside that has the view of most of the course it's just full of people who like hiked up and skied there it's crazy uh you know crazy that this is the way things are um and it's like it has like Tour de France feel you know with like all the people we're like how did they even get there yeah like what what are you doing on top of this mountain um it's the same kind of vibe and uh uh Otermott coming down this course I'm just gonna throw it out there you got to guess at what his top speed was on skis um I'm like 83 miles an hour no faster 123 miles an hour that's a little too fast he topped out at 93 miles 93 which even silly yeah like the idea of going 93 miles an hour on two skis is just absolutely terrifying I don't know how it's beautiful I don't know how it's possible but it was a beautiful run and uh and they keep improving the quality of ski broadcast because the drones now all over the course and so basically

28:16more and we have to say it again there's not enough times we can say one of the most emotionally rollercoastery things we've ever seen in sports let alone the NFL for the Broncos to advance and then find out unbeknownst to anybody that they're starting quarterback bonyx was hurt and no and no longer able to go what do you think the way they drop that too oh by the way he's got an ankle injury he's out for the playoffs. Oh wow incredible incredible but there was no way to know I asked this of Kelly I should I'm just curious before we get to your your props do you believe that because some people are a little skeptical about this do you believe the story that Nick's broke the ankle on that sort of innocuous two yard loss on that final drive or do you believe it happened on the kneel down and that they're trying to sort of save face by saying it was the play before I don't know I haven't gone all Zap Rooter on it there and gone frame by frame but I think it I too I tend to believe him why would they lie maybe it was like you could think I supposedly got stepped on a little bit on the kneel down maybe that would have been a final straw sort of thing

29:20but I would think that the initial aggravation probably happened on the run probably happened earlier in the game for all we know too you know it's just like you know you get that gradual wear and tear and it's just the last thing that causes it to snap but just brutal so the question on this side on this game is like how many points is Bo Nick's versus Jared's did him worth right I've had a hard time figuring that out because just because he hasn't played so much but you know Peyton at the same time targeted stood him he wanted to get stood him that was one of the first I think maybe the first hire they made after Peyton was hired I mean you know he had those couple of games when they were exiling Russell Wilson just like they were doing Derek Carr the year before and with the Raiders you know it's it's interesting to kind of see okay well let's look it back on stitum's pass there's not much to look back on there but at least I'm confident that he's no Max Brozmer at least that we're confident in that he is yeah north of the Brozmer line as we like to say all right so what do you have a couple props here where'd you land land on a couple things here one someone's got to catch passes for for the Broncos because we know that they they're
