Uh, we have other sports to get to, but I want to start with a national championship. Um, you are famously an alum of the University of Miami, um, and you have very strong thoughts about this national championship, Keynes, eight and a half point dogs, uh, versus Indiana at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. And um, you do have Miami futures tickets full disclosure, but you feel like this is a good matchup for the Keynes, maybe even a great one. I, I do, I don't get, like I get it, I, I, I, when I say I don't get it, I get it,

4:07but the line makes very little sense to me here at eight and a half and you look earlier on in the playoff, and it would have been what three and a half or so, then prior to the semis, it would have been five or five and a half. And now eight and a half is just an obscene number. And it's been like a 14 point correction on Indiana from the regular, from the start of the season when Miami would have been favorite prior to the year. So it's, it's unprecedented. I just, if people watched Miami go to A&M and win plebe, Ohio State in the quarter final B to 13 and one SEC team with probably a C type game. It's only one, you can't just base it on one data point, but watch the big 10 championship game and then watch Miami, Ohio State in the quarter final, like I don't get where we're coming up with this and maybe, maybe I'm dead wrong, maybe I'm just viewing this through the prism of a, of a Miami alum, but I, I think the fact, and a lot of it has to do with

5:12how do you interpret what we've seen from Indiana these last two games in the college football playoff? It could be because you can make a case that we discussed Alabama all along and how they were probably the team that should not have been in the playoff. They got embarrassed by Florida State during the course of the season. They haven't been able to run all year. Their outfits of line was bad and they had a lot of warts over the last six weeks of the year and they probably shouldn't have been in. Indiana dispatched them as they should have and I think the shock, the name value of Indiana beating Alabama, it was too much for people like, wow, it's unbelievable. And then in the semi, you get an Oregon team where both coordinators were now taking head coaching jobs and they were absent from Eugene for a while in the game preparation. And there was a bit of a rift there on the coaching staff is what you hear. And then you go and you play in an Oregon team that's down basically every viable running back that they have.

6:14Other positions are short and you get a pick six on the first play of the game and Toshal Porriot has been even just been during the course of the game and it just snowballs with three turnovers deep in your own territory and it gets ugly. So is the line really that or is it just getting carried away now because of the runaway fashion of those games? I like Miami here. I did hedge a little bit like I said, and I don't Kelly and you have referenced it as well. I did take a little center to win the Australian Open Mens and Indiana Moneyline plus plus one 30 partly to hedge a little bit against my Miami futures that I have. But I think the canes are being disrespected here with this number just like I think they were. I guess Ohio State two rounds ago. I think you're right, man. I think eight now and this is a guy who has an Indiana ticket right. I have an attend to one on Indiana win it all. I think you're absolutely right about the spread itself. The way that I put it yesterday was imagine if we at the beginning of the playoff, we were like the thinking of hypothetical championship matchups and then we said, oh, canes versus

7:18Indiana, what will the line be at that point? Our next line would have been like, well, if the canes get that far, we'll think of them this way. The line and the line would never out of our mouth. The next thing would never have been eight and a half right? We'd have been like three and a half maybe right like something like that. So I'm with you on that and you already answered my next question, which is okay. That said, how are you going to approach this? So Indiana, Yonic Sinner, Parlay, Moneyline Parlay is what you're saying. Yeah. That's what I did. And then I had played this before the draw came out. So I got a little bit of a better number on Sinner to put into that parlay, but seeing the draw yesterday and seeing Ben Shelton his quarter and avoiding Carlitos until the fight like that couldn't have gone any better for that part of the part of the hedge. But the two other things that I looked at here in this game and if you're looking for as a Miami guy, reason to be worried and the one thing that would keep me up at night, it is the first half of the game and not having Xavier Lucas, probably their best corner

8:21or one of their best corner, second best corner at worst in the game due to that targeting penalty at the end of the Ole Miss game. And being out, how will Miami be able to defend Cooper and Sarat and Charlie Becker with those three guys on the field at the same time and those his ability to make those big chunk plays with those back shoulder throws? That is the one aspect of the game that I kind of feel like that could be a problem. And in a sense, you may want to correlate a little something if you are a Miami supporter and you think Miami is going to bleed the clock a little bit in the first half, like long, sustained drives, run the play clock down, try and keep their defense off the field in the first half. I did see a pretty heavily juiced under 24 and a half first half because that would mean Miami is going to kind of lean on the running game a little bit in the first half to try and keep IU off the field. So that might be something maybe if you're looking for a little derivative in this game to look at as well.

9:22You are also a historian of college football. So I just want to ask you for giggles. If Indiana does win this and wins an adi, they'll go 16 and 0. If I spot you the 2000 canes and the 2019 LSU Tigers, can we think of this team as maybe third, fourth, fifth best of all time at that point? Best in terms of accomplishment. Yes, like best in terms of talent. I don't think they're in the same area code stratosphere is 2001 Miami 2019 LSU. 95 Nebraska, those types of teams, but, but it'll be doing something that no team has ever done. And maybe moving forward, maybe we'll view it a little bit differently in a couple of years because we are in a different era, different generation of college football now with the portal and older players and things like roster construction and maybe we, I think that's one of the bigger things here with Indiana is like, people have a hard time accepting what they can't rationalize and understand how this has happened.

10:26People can't understand how the losing is program of all time when Kurt Segedi took over and no five stars, like how, and then they're recruiting ranks and things like how this is possible. And that's why like people's minds race with a lot of this stuff, like how are they doing this? Because we just don't see it. It's a daddy 62 at the time he gets his first power for a job and now he's the best coach in the history of college football. So like, it's an unbelievable run and regardless of who wins on Monday night, either you're going to get by the biggest underdog upset, I don't want to say fluke when it gets it's not a fluke. There's 16. You know, but where they were a preseason odds, you probably have to think like 2010 Auburn, but they had can Newton, maybe 1990 Georgia Tech, we shared the title in terms of like completely off the grid when it's either you're getting that or you're getting the return of Miami, winning a national title, Mario, Cristobal, alum as head coach. So regardless of who wins on Monday night, you're going to have a great story for the champion. That's you're right.

11:26Mario, Cristobal 60 minutes away from winning the national championship. And that will, that will have to be the headline on Cristobal moving forward, not all the other coaching decisions, sad to say for the Cristobal haters. Chris has some NFL thoughts and bets. You were talking about taking Indiana and Yannick's center as a head against your Miami. You betting center straight also? I am. I am. Again, I wish to get once the number isn't as good as what I got in the in the hedge parlay, but seeing the seeing the draw come out, he's minus 700 down to win the quarter. So he's going to get to the semi final and you assume that he's going to get to the final

He's so good on hard court and you can easily see him winning both hard court slams and then one of the other two either the either Wimbledon or Roland Garrison. I like your bet there of setter to win three slams this year. Yeah, I dig it plus 450 watch you watch you'll win the first three and then I'll be like, don't win this U.S. Open. Is that you'll be agitated to be betting everybody against him? Yeah, it's not going to be fun. All right, to the national football league. I already got whatever my price is on the future, but I would suggest because if you look at the history of these playoff of these title games, whether it's BCS, CFP, it's either been a favorite blowout. The last six have all been favorites, winning and covering by like a by two touch chances. They've been blow out lately and that will hopefully from Miami backers that won't continue or the 12 times we've seen underdogs cover in the championship game, nine times

19:47the dog has won outright. So I'd percentage is tell you the way these games go down typically, the spread hasn't mattered. Dog either wins or gets blown out. You know, it was the best part about that 2001 Miami team that we're talking about earlier Kelly. They were so demure. They were so they didn't want to call attention to themselves ever in all their career. And that continued for years to come. Yeah, they're super super. They were extremely motivated and pissed off and getting screwed over in 2000 and that really drove them over the course of the year. So there's a little bit of motivation and then the Miami hurricane to see are a little bit pissed off right now as well with the perception of what they've done so far and being a big underdog here as well. So it happens to me, they're going to win. Yeah, I can't wait to the national football league, Josh Allen over eight and a half rush attempts that we had Will Hill on earlier in the week. He shows up in there, are limited on options. So I like it. I like it. I like it. Yeah, it's a big game on Monday night. Chris, I'm curious. I will be I will be in the press box cover the game. Oh, you will. It will be, yeah, I will be going down Sunday. Wow. OK, so you don't have to pay for a ticket. I don't know what West Reynolds thinks he's getting in there. I don't know if he is. But I'm more sure about that team than any other. That's for sure. I feel like I know I can't do it. I know I can't do it because the way the baseball playoffs work. But I feel like I'm looking at this Dodgers price. Like you have brought up with some of the NBA playoff comparisons. You're able to take a step back, right? That or like Scotty Sheffler and Majors, right? You're not like in it every day. And I'm just like, would you feel this way? What's stopping this team? What is stopping this team?
