And numbers call this toy now. It's one of those idiots who believe in analytics. This is a numbers game with Kill I like Xander gone. He said. A numbers game here on Vs and the sports betting network. Brown in for Gil rolling along here as we did not four putt there. Kelly Bidlin. We got the the par saver from Jake Napridge. It got might have actually been pretty big because you start the. Start the first hole the whole tournament with a four putt bogey. And I don't know what that does to your psyche. I'm not a big fan of how ugly the par was all right. So yeah, yeah, he definitely would have been out of it. We've got let's see everybody playing well. So far I'm trying to count how many this is. We got eight guys out on the golf course six of more one under Jake. Now not one of them. That seems that seems ungood. Even even including one Johnny Vegas one under through one who Matt Brown said. He has no chance to. Well, the only I mean the opening par five would be his chance to make to make.
Oh, that is a good point. We should bring up because you have the what you have the par five one. And then the drivable 10 West did bring it up on the podcast. I'm glad he did it there. Just the you know, we talked about some of the whole bed. Hold by whole betting. If you're looking at that. Just for live betting purposes, right? Just monitor your bets. Don't get too excited about guys going out and score it early. Those first holes that these guys are going to play aren't going to be scored. Yeah, it is. It's a deal where, you know, I mean, at the end of the day. You're just because it's a dribble. I don't. Everybody's starting on one for this, right? It's a signature. It'll be easy for me. It'll be interesting for me to see how these how these start to play. But yeah, I mean, so far so good. Like you said. But you start with par five. I mean, that's. That's where that's the soft spot. Right. We literally said the key to this is scoring on the par fives. What? What's your favorite opening par? You like par four, like par three, par five, never see a par three.
Well, sometimes the worst, the worst thing is when you play a shotgun and then you get started on a par three. Yeah. I cannot stand starting on par threes. I hate it. I don't think they never do that on the PGA tour. Oh, yeah. No, no. Because I know Matt Matt and I share the same, same thoughts on closing a tournament. That they think both of us level closing par five more than most out there. So have you seen this deal with Tommy Fleetwood? So he ended the deal with Nike? Well, or he didn't. What are his deal with Nike? Inded inspired. Yeah. And so he's just been wearing swag from whatever the course is that like so he all week last. So he do four pebble. He do four pebble beach stuff. And then he's he's wearing Riviera stuff here. That's like, that's boring. Okay. I'm cool, cool, fun story. But if I would take that time to do something way more fun with it. Right. Either whether it's your maybe it's your nephew's little league team or something. You know, you could just rock a patch or something like that on a sweatshirt.
Some, you know, have a little fun with it. Do some for charity. Okay. Right. Well, I don't know what you're sitting the pro shop every week. Well, one yes. That is what he did last week. But I don't know if I don't know what the restrictions are. Yeah. The restrictions are to roll of the poor pot. Jacob, oh, is it short or long? Oh, short. Well, at least we're not going backwards, you know, not going backwards. Brown three time pro bold guard Wyatt Teller announced that he will not be back with Cleveland in 2026 and be with a new team next season. He'll be a free agent here in about a month. The Browns entire starting offensive line. There's set to be free agents. I don't know how much interest. Cam Robinson's going to get at this point in his career, but certainly there'll be people going after Wyatt Teller or maybe Patonio obviously poach it's still still capable as his Conklin. They'll get it. They'll probably get a couple of these guys back, but it'll be interesting to see how many of these dudes do end up out of town. Uh, yeah. 100%. There was a great note by producer Danny Higgins, one of those things by the way that we, uh,
that we used to love about the, about the Browns. We would say like, Hey, listen, you might not like XX, XA, but guess what? They got an awesome, they got an offensive line. And that's like, that's a pretty big deal. But looks like at the very least it's going to be broken up a little bit. Okay. So who do the Browns get for wind totals or up? We will be diving in a big time tomorrow. Yeah, I can't for the sketch. Can you believe, can you believe that they got a wind total? We were literally literally having that conversation yesterday in here going, man, when that, when those wind totals come up, I'm going to be looking for X Y. And then like, and then hours later, you were listening to us, appreciate it. Thank you for that. So the, the, uh, Rico Hoey 200, I don't want to have that one. No, no, it's not the, uh, okay. So he was, he was going to finish today one under. I mean, one over good. That's what I'm going to hopefully, uh, okay. So Browns, like six and a half, I've got questions about, I've got questions about every team in that division, but they still feel like they are the worst team.
Six and a half wins for the Cleveland Brown, who's playing quarterback right now? Who's lining up in the offensive line? Yeah. No, no, no, there, there are ones I went and looked, I spent entirely too much time looking at wind totals in February for, yeah, we don't have full schedules to say again. For February, but like, no, you know, here's the deal though. We know that's kind of the, that's kind of the good thing about this too, because I don't really need to know the exact, there are literally only two or three times where there are quirks in a schedule that really change my opinion of how I'm going to bet a team or something like that. Usually all it does is, if I see that, uh, if I see that there is exceptionally hard at the beginning or exceptionally, exceptionally hard at the end, it's, it's basically me just making notes for in season stuff. Anyway, I'm not making those bets now. I'm not, you know, I'm not making those bets. They're more like, Hey, check back in to see what this wind total is in week six, because it starts out either very easy or very hard or whatever.
And you want to come in on the other side of that, but very rarely is it going to like push me one way or another, how the schedule kind of lines up just from the flat wind total. Perfect. Yeah. I think it's interesting because what Matt's saying there, I think it's maybe the most important thing for adding NFL futures of just the calendar notes, right? Making notes on a calendar or something about tough stretches, tough stretches, weak stretches, tough travel stretches for a team and we've talked about all these international games now. I agree with you. That's the most important. I would say one to two futures bets get swayed by me depending on kind of how the games actually fall in when you say futures, does that mean like wind total or does that just mean division, mainly wind totals, but others, others it might influence mainly wind totals. Yeah. Sure. And listen, the division stuff and all that sure from from a scheduling standpoint, but I think just again, like I said, from the raw wind total stuff, it's just not, it's not really going to sway me all that crazy, you know, one way or another. Like I said, usually it's just the quirks that I want to come in and try to look to get
an in game and you know, an in season in on these guys. So the NFL coach of the year, these are all out. Obviously you have your, your, I'm pumped to tell about this too. This is, you're giving shout out draft Kings with the, with the, with the wind totals. Yeah. And Caesar's man with, with some draft props out with some coach of the year. Good on them. So is that where our number two, whatever it's, yeah, Caesars and MGM both have number two overall pick up. Caesars has number two overall pick in coach of the year. Wow. They're getting ahead of it. That was, I know you were all shocked about the wind. So I think, I think wind total draft came dropped about this time last year, Matt, but last year, I remember having the same reaction of man, this was fast. Yeah. I don't remember. Caesars and MGM have not beaten, fandal and draft Kings into posting something like coach of the year. I mean, yeah. Absolutely. No, absolutely. So you're watching at home. We'll, we'll throw up here. You can kind of see where this sits from a coach of the year standpoint, Jesse Mentor
there with the Ravens Clint Kubiak with the Raiders are your short shots at 850 and 950. 11 to 1 on Harbaugh 12 on Salah 15 on Monkin as he takes over there for the Browns to Fanski with the Falcons LaFour with the Packers. And if you are going down and taking a look, yes, LaFour is the first returning coach that we see on the list. The first, the first six names are all guys taking over programs because we just assumed that, okay, this is, this is how the voters are going to want to go is, is pushing that direction. I'm going to say team to 1, Dan Campbell 18 to 1, SS Liam Cohen and Ben Johnson and Joe Brady shot, shot, shot and Heimer, 20 to 1 for the Cowboys and then hate halffully sitting there at 22 to 1 for the dolphins. I think you can immediately Kubiak, you can move, remove him, Salah. I think you can remove him, Monkin, I think you can remove him. So right off the bat, I'm taking three of the shorties and I'm throwing those on the trash heap. I'm shot.
Okay, I'm actually surprised. You said that about one of them. Robert Salah. You never higher on the Titans? Well, yes, but I don't, again, I don't necessarily think that that means that they're going to win 10 games like 11 games or something. But if they came into 500, I mean, I don't think that that's I don't think that was shocked me. So hey, I'll hit, I'll hit the the old Cleveland TA kind of guidelines. And this is kind of the trends that we've seen with Coach of the year and honestly, I think it makes it, they said like what we saw play out this past season. I think these are even more like I'm sticking more to these going from 20 of the last 22 winners. with 10 or more wins. All 20 had nine or more 15 to last 16 winners come from teams 11 or more wins. Okay. So even 11 50 last 16 average preseason win total last 25 winners 7.9 wins. If I did my math right last night, no winner of the last 17 years has come into the season with a win total of greater than nine and a half 14 last 15 winners came into the season on team that were underdogs to make the playoffs. So yeah, I think for what we've seen the last few years, I'm looking for a coach, a newer coach, probably on a newer team with not high expectations that
you're looking to make a big league. Which one just just screams that you know jumps off the page because I know we're going to say the same name and I might bet it already in it. I don't I don't like the number John Arboh. Oh, see, I say I think it's Fansky. Okay. Like you're so the the Falcons win total over draftings is six and a half. They play in the NFC South. Like is this real life? Like this team can't get to 10 wins and win that division. I think of course they can. Like I mean, of course they can. They definitely can. Like that to me was the one that immediately jumped off the page and we're saying here 15 to one. I thought more about their win total than coach of the year, honestly, with him. So yeah, I don't I don't mind that one. But both of you both you and I talked about are the giants in their chances of the NFC East. And now we're going to discuss that a little bit more. But I look, I think that there's there's I think there's a world we live in where they could make that big of a jump. And he would be I mean, if you're talking about the giants sniffing the playoffs, then he's right away in consideration. I think for me, I can't
even believe that I would much better want to lock up money for a year. But at 15 to one on Stefansky, I think that's the one that is going to move and move the fastest. I think people are going to look at that team in that division. Yeah. And say it's just too much pass up. When we come back over here on Zach Cohen, we'll talk some NBA with him. You're here because you want an edge. That's what separates listeners from winners. But let's be real mindset alone doesn't get bets home pros win because they've got the tools, the data and the discipline. And now so can you be some programs you access to the same real time insights the sharps use, no secrets, no fluff, just actionable info that moves markets. Work. Steve tweets. And if we have winner without Scotty markets, why don't we have MVP without Otani markets? And honestly, which basically is just betting on who's going to be second place. Yeah. It's a great. It's a great tweet. I don't hate it. I mean, honestly, I don't hate it. Yeah, listen up sportsbooks. Yeah, you'll be random markets. We just create our minds or get tweets about it. Like you just as he tweets in here too, seems like a market. How much money yes, the books would take money. I was just about to say how much more interest does that draw from the casual better because the casual better never wants to bet $125 to win 100 eight months later. You know, like nobody won't know casual better wants to do that. You know, what the casual better better chance of them doing that then looking at betting into a minus 300 on May 15th, though we were talking about, right? It's really more for when you hit that period of the year. Nobody's betting MVP. Hey, listen, there's still a lot of time out there books. You hear this? You're listening to it. Yeah, go ahead and get it done. Good job, Steve. Rico,
the Hoey, he's still leading over there. He's two under Valamaki, Poston, Etch Verria, McCarty, Hogi, Kali, all one under. And then you have Kitty, I'm a nap Vegas, Pindrith and Schmidt are sitting there at at even par. By the way, you remember when Vegas was one under and now he's no longer. Yeah. Yeah. Bertie Bogey start for Johnny. Yeah. Yeah. Told you. There's just no chance for him. whatsoever. We'll keep you updated here. Told you over that. Of course, that's already told you two holes into the target. No, no, no, he's got zero chance. He's got none. He's got much chance. No, he has better chance than I do because he's actually playing in the event. Yes. I have zero. I have zero percent chance. He at least has some percent chances in the event. But yeah, not, not, not, not very hot. There we go, Jake, host to the Hardwood Handicapers podcast here on our V some podcast network. Also senior editor at betting on X over on the Twitter machine. He is that Cohen. How you doing, buddy? I'm good. How are you guys doing? We are feeling very good. We
got golf on the TV. We got some hockey a little bit later. We're hockey sharps now. I don't know if you were listening to the top. We won, we won multiple hockey bets yesterday amongst, well, yeah, amongst everybody else. Danny got home with the parlay that we threw in as well. I mean, this is, it was a good hockey day around here. So maybe we can keep a good NBA, juju here going. Let's start with the Rockets and Knicks. You like both of them, but you'd like them together. Yeah, I parlayed the two favorites, which is a square move at all. I like Houston, and New York plus one 45. The Rockets are taking out a Hortitz team that will be without boost of Diabate and Miles Bridges because of his suspension. Also, no Kobe White who's still dealing with the cap strain. I just think that that's a little bit too much of you're talking about a rotation. That's also missing, you know, in a way, Colin Sexton who was traded out for Kobe White. A lot of guys missing right now. I think that, you know, Diabate is the most important one because that's kind of the heart and soul of this Charlotte team with his ability to kind of impact games on the offensive boards. You know, protect the rim on the other end of the floor. And I set this
up the podcast this morning, which will be out soon, but Cobb Brenner is a really good player, but he does get into foul trouble occasionally. If he does in this game, you're either playing a big man, you don't trust or you're going small against Houston. I don't think that's going to work. I think Shenguin dominates. And then with the Knicks and Pistons, it's another one where I think this suspension kind of looms large. I mean, with no Jalen Dern or Isaiah Stewart, who is keeping Mitchell Robinson off the offensive glass. That's the best offensive rebounder in the entire league. The Knicks are just going to be getting second chances left and right. And I defensively, if you just have to kind of guard Cade Cunningham and stay at home on some of the shooters, you can do it, even if you aren't the greatest defensive team in the world. Yes, Zach, I'm in on both of those sides with you as well tonight. I built a little bit different ways. I laid the points with the Knicks, but I did the same thing with Houston. I little surprised. It felt like the books were sleeping on the suspensions a little bit. I don't know. Maybe I'll read it too far into it. I'm with you both of those. I went to both those sides as well. You are looking at the Joel and Beatrice 76ers. First of all, thoughts on the game
tonight. And then I guess mainly just six years going forward and I give you this injury and where they where they stand in the Eastern Conference. Yeah, I do really like Philly tonight. It's more of a fade on Atlanta. Like I think if you look back to January 1st on this Hawks team has just been wildly unimpressive. Like they are number 14 in the league in defensive rating when looking at points allowed per 100 possessions. You need to be a lot better than that when you are 26 in the league in points per 100 possessions. I think that there was a lot of like smartest guy in the room stuff that happened when they moved to a young out at the deadline thinking that they'd become this elite defensive team. And there'd be a better, you know, some of the parts off-feds type of thing. But it has just not been pretty on either end of the floor. And I do think that even though in beat will be out tonight, they're going to be able to score on the Hawks. I just think the Tari's Maxia BJ edge come are a little bit too quick for Alexander Walker and Dyson Daniels. So I think Philly wins tonight. Looking ahead, it's more of the same with the Sixers. It's like, yeah, when does it be come back, will he be healthy for the playoffs? I mean, it's been more of the same
in terms of resting that injury than me. And I think he's going to be fine in terms of looking at the postseason. And if he is fine and Paul George comes back, it's all ifs. Yeah, they can win a playoff series, they can win multiple playoff series, they can represent the East, but it's all about the health of those, you know, players and their knees and all of their, you know, soft issue. Talking about very on Zach Cohen, Zach, not one of your official plays, but we get news that Steph is not going to make it back for the Warriors this evening. We do think we're going to get poor Zingas here in this one. This is out to five and a half now in favor of Boston. Not necessarily this game in general, but I mean, it's, you hear what Kerr said that they're not ruling out. Maybe having to get another MRI on Steph and all of this. It doesn't seem like it is trending in the right direction for the Warriors. Yeah, I actually do have a play on this game. I just didn't want to smother your audience with two leg correlays, but I have, I have the, the Celtics money line with the magic money line in a night parlay. So I do think Boston wins tonight. I don't know how Golden State is able to kind of keep up with Boston and track me without
Steph and very, very worried about the Warriors looking forward, because like you said, it sounds really bad. I mean, he said something like Steph knows his body really well and continues to say that there's something not right down there and that they might need, you know, another MRI here there. But if he is out for any portion of time, that's like in the weeks range and not days range, they're going to, you know, be at the bottom of the play in tournament and they're going to be, you know, early exit in that tournament, just no real hope looking forward in the Western conference playoffs, which they probably already didn't have to begin with. Zach, we got one more play. I want to get to, I'm going to actually really interested in this game tonight. Denver Nuggets at the Clippers. Nuggets four point road favorites, your totals about 225 and after 226 and a half right now, you're looking at a player prop here though. Yeah, I like Benedict Matheryn over 14 and a half points. He had 16 points the last time out played 31 minutes. And I just kind of think that there's going to be a lot of time for him to try and prove his way with this organization. I mean, he's not going to be a player that they will have back next year unless they want to resign him. So he has the rest
of the season that kind of show the front office that he's worthy of some type of extension, which the Pacer is obviously deemed that he wasn't. But I do think this is a player that can really put the ball in the hole. I really like the matchup for him because the Nuggets are a bottom five team when you're looking at, you know, defending spot-up shooting. They're only 17th of the lead defending inside 10 feet and Matheryn scores, you know, a pretty good chunk of his points in the paint. And overall, I think that he's a player that can score in transition because he's big athletic, he can finish and Denver's not great in transition. So I think this is a really good matchup for him. And like you, I'm very much looking forward to this game. Cam Johnson will be back for Denver. They're starting to get a little bit healthier, but Darius Garland remains out for the Clippers, which is why as good as that trade looked on paper, let's see if this guy actually plays basketball in the top two. Zach, I have come in and decided that I am going to be one of the sheep. And I'm backing the Cleveland Cavaliers long term here. What is your thought on this team and tell me why I'm I'm just lighting money on fire? Yeah, you're looking at another sheep right here. I like the
Cavaliers to win the Eastern Conference. I played it before they got hardened. I just thought that things were trending in the right direction. And I absolutely loved the garden, Garland's foreheartened trade. I thought that he swapped out a player that like I said just doesn't play very much for a bigger, better version of that player. And you're going to get mobility back tonight. So we're going to get a good look at what Cleveland actually looks like here over these next few weeks. And I don't think that any team in the Eastern Conference this year has really run away with things and kind of proven that they can go out and represent the conference in the NBA finals. So there definitely is opportunity for this Cavaliers team. I say that while, you know, kind of looking at a Pistons resume, that definitely suggests that they can make the NBA finals and contain, but there's just something kind of keeping me from believing in that team. And I think it's just the fact that Tobias Harris is their starting color phone. And that's nothing against Tobias Harris. I think he's a solid player. Definitely a good rotation piece in the NBA, but I feel like they really need a second kind of offensive creator next decade in order to make that next step that they're hoping to make. Yeah, it's solid players. That Cohen says, Matt,
but he's always had a personal grudge with Tobias Harris goes back years. It's just it's weird. I like he's for he's not he's for you. I'll grew up not too far from me. I'm a Rosalind guy. I lived in Dix Hills for a little, but he's like 25 minutes away from that. So that's what that's what it is. Zach holds him to a very high standard. He's not living up to get it together Tobias. Guys, guys, I just out of the break here for people that are kind of just getting caught up on the NBA. I think maybe a team that you're looking at the most either to bet on out of the break or to bet against anybody that we think maybe went into the break. Hot is going to come out flat. Just I'll leave it pretty open ended for you, but something that you think better should have their eye on here over the next week or two. Well, I will say betting against I did write an article for vson.com where I kind of laid out the teams that have nothing to play for the rest of the season. You know, some of the tanking teams, there are eight of them, and I would say it starts with the jazz, and I think the wizards are right below there. These teams need to finish in the top eight in order to keep their draft picks. Team I'm looking to bet on that I think it's a little bit surprising is the Milwaukee Bucks. There are some long numbers on them to make the playoffs. I think they're going to
make the playoffs whether that's through the play in or not. I think you're going to get it. He is that Cohen host of Hardwood handicappers and every single day of their on vson.com. Appreciate the time, buddy. Good luck. Thanks guys. When we come back, let's keep the vson love role in here. Stormy Bonn and Tony on hockey. Yeah. The numbers game on the vson. These sports betting network. The numbers game here on the vson. These sports betting network. Not brown, Kelly Bidlin. So we lied earlier. We just we didn't know because, you know, again, they don't, they don't put the stuff out, you know, until they start the round. But so four, they bailed out on it. So they must have heard the press conference yesterday from Rory and him complaining about playing 273 and being too long and it's a pop whatever. It's playing 220 today. So they have they moved it up 53 yards from the practice round that they played. So they built out new
tee boxes to extend that hole, right? Yeah. So they basically just went not only they go back to the old ones, but they they're at the front of the old ones because it was playing like two 30 something last year or two years ago. So they were like the old tee box and at the front of it. So anyway, we lied. It's not playing 273. It's sometimes good and bad to see this in sports, right? It's both ways of the how much a star when he speaks can swing things. And yeah, I guarantee you that is not coincident. Yeah. Whenever he says like, I think it was a bad change. And then they follow it up a little bit later with why do you think it was a bad change? And he goes into a whole thing about why it was a bad change. Yeah, I'm pretty sure, pretty sure that hit home. So they're playing 220 today. So it is it's if you're wondering how these guys are hitting irons and they're going, wait, I thought it was 273. Yeah, it's it's it's not wildly different hole to prepare for wildly. Because I mean, I just I just looked up and saw Jake nap birdied it and I'm like, what? And so I go in and look and I see that it's playing 220. You know, it would have been cool as if Jake nap a birdied that par five to start with. Yeah, it would have been cool. All right. Now joining us here, we're going to talk some hockey. Or as I
like say, grass soccer. He was our very own your friend and mine. Stormy Bond and Tony, how you do ice soccer? Yeah, you mixed up. I saw jokes. I saw her. That's what I was just saying is like, I don't know if that sounds right. I thought soccer was played on grass. I soccer. Grass hockey ice soccer. Man, you're the one on grass right now. What? Oh, dad joke. You need your soundboard. Where's your soundboard? But you know what the best the best dad joke is and don't judge me for this. But I am this person at the grocery store when you're checking out and you get milk and they say, would you like your milk in a bag? I hit them with the no keep it in the jug. Ah, that's good. No, that's a good one though. Right. And guess what? You get a chuckle every time. It's for me. It's not for anyone else. It's for me. But you get a chuckle every time out of them. Come on. It's pretty cool. Yeah, exactly. Okay. Stormy, we know you are a lover of of all things hockey. And that includes the certainly the Olympics. And we have a gold medal game today as well as we head into this thing. It'll be coming on right after we get off air one 10 Eastern 10 10
Pacific. How are you looking to attack this one? I pretty right away, but team USA on the puck line minus a goal and a half a minus one 50. And obviously it's been continued to bet up. I bet it again, when they were laying two at around even money, now they're laying two and a half. And it's funny when you hear so many people at the network talking about how like the pricing is just gotten out of control on the US women. And they're 100% correct. When these two played in the pre-limbs, I think it peaked at team USA minus two dollars on the money line. And that was with the Canadian women not having their captain Marie Folliet Poline. Poline, excuse me. And now they're like nearly a five dollar favorite in this game. And when you look at the puck line prices, it's excessive and all of that stuff. I get it. But where I'm coming from is my mindset hasn't changed on this team whatsoever. So even though the pricing has gotten out of whack and you have to lay bigger numbers and it's a gold medal game. And so you anticipate no matter what it's going to be that much tighter
checking, that much harder competition. And Canada's got their heart and soul captain back all these things. My handicap of the game in that team USA is just that much better and that more dominant has it changed. So I don't mind laying some of these bigger numbers. I remember I was talking to Mike Palm ahead of that early game that they played in the pre-limbs and I ran into them in the parking lot. It was like, yeah, I laid a puck in a half with team USA in this game because I'd lay two and a half. And obviously they went into five nothing shut out in that game. They have scored their opponents in the tournament 31 to 1. And specifically when you look at what they've done against team Canada, dating back to the four games that they played in the rivalry series back in November and December, plus the preliminary game that they played. US swept all five games. They outscored Canada 29 to 7. Canada was held to exactly one goal in three of four of the games and the one game they didn't the US one 10 to four at Rogers Place in Edmonton. This is the best women's hockey team that has ever been sent to the Olympics period. Seven of the top 13 point getters on the women's side
in the Olympics are on the US team. And I think that is theirs to dominate once again today. All right. I like it. I like it. Strong USA support from story bomb. I know it's not just because I'm from here. I'm doing I'm doing all I'm I'm going out to like minus four and a half on this. There you go. I'm doing it. Yeah. Current numbers. If you're listening USA minus four 70 Canada plus 360. You can lay two and a half at plus 114. This over at draft games and then five and a half your total for this game. Stormy looking ahead to the men's games tomorrow. Oh boy. We're getting away from America now. You like Canada tomorrow in in the men's game. It seems I like Canada to win gold in general. So I yeah. So I bet them last Friday when it was still plus 114 ish to win gold. I still think they ultimately get there. I would be shocked if either the US or Canada lose in the semis and their price is such right. Like Canada has come down in price. They're still
a near $4 favorite though. US is minus 800 in their game with Slovakia. But I still very firmly believe that Canada is going to be the team that wins it all. As far as the game with Finland though I actually like taking the two and a half goals with the Finns for as big of like Canada is a bear. You have to imagine they're a little pissed off about how they played on Wednesday. They've got so much offensive firepower with that forward group. But the Sydney Crosby injury I do think is important and if he can't play in the semifinal which I don't think he does based on just like the look of him having to get off the ice. I know John Cooper said he hasn't rolled him out yet for the tournament but I would be very surprised based on at least the eye test. If he were to play in that game I think they would save him for the gold medal game with the expectation they win this. But that leaves a hole in their middle six. And Finland is really good. Like I think their defense can keep it close enough. And for as good as Jordan Binnington has played in big moments he can still get got or give up second chance opportunities. Yes you do have a worry that Finland might not be able to keep up offensively but getting two and a half goals with a team that is as defensively sound as
they are. I think it's pretty worthwhile and we had a good talk on fall of the money yesterday when John Forzland came on. He's a NHL on TNT play by play guy play by play for the Kraken. And he was talking about how when you get to these metal round games it is more like a game seven and the way that you play the game is just a little bit different. It's just a little bit tighter and I think getting two and a half goals with the fans even at yes a pretty juiced price is worth while to play. Another person that plays that don't pass line whenever she walks up to a Crab's table and all of these all these things betting against the USA. Now two. Two guests in a row. If you're betting can you're betting against the USA. If you're betting can you're betting against the USA. Wait can we call it an emotional hedge. I get money if they lose and if we win I'm happy for American pride. That's not how we do it here on this one. I think it's going to get hard. We'll take that road yesterday. He was just against the US completely. So that's okay. Well then this should make you feel better. Like I think that the US handle business against
Slovakia. I just said that I think that they advanced to the gold medal game. Is that not good enough for you? Not not usually. Not here. No, we're all USA all the time here. We decided yesterday. That's what we became gigantic hockey bettors. I don't know if you know or not at hockey sharps now. As we head into as we head into the rest of the NHL season what team do you have your your eye on either for because you think they are on the upswing or a team maybe on the other side of that? Fortunately actually a team that I bet in the preseason when the Stanley Cup in the Minnesota wild are a team that is very much so trending up in my mind even still and their odds are much shorter now to win the cup. But I still like them a lot. And what they have done since adding hues to that lineup has just absolutely changed the entire dynamic of what they do the way that they're driving offense. The it's not even just the goal production guys. But it's all of those deeper stats between like the shots on goal expected shots on net expected high danger everything about driving offense. He has changed for them. So the wilder team I'm very intrigued by
I'm curious to see if the Golden Knights can get their life figured out or not because they're still the favorite to win the Pacific Division. They're a top foreshot to win the Stanley Cup and all of these things. But they have not played to their capabilities on numerous occasions. Gold tending is a problem. So I'm very curious to see how that shakes out. But the wilder is a team that I am extremely excited about. And I did just want to say really quickly one last item because I know we got to get out of here for that USA Slovakia game. I do really like the under in that as well. I lean under quite frankly in both of the Olympic men semi final games. But I really like the under specifically in Slovakia USA. All right, Stormy. We've been toggling all over the place with people in and out. And also where are you today? Where are we? Where can people tune in and find you today? Today. So no longer filling in on follow the money. Mitch and Paul are back. So they're back. All right. So you're back in the usual spot. Okay. So I can say host of money moves then. Okay. There we go. There we go. There we go. Money moves 11 to one Pacific two to four Easter.
Me and JVT back in the saddle. Let's go. There you go. That storm Bonnetoni over in the Twitter machine. She is Stormy Bonnetoni. Appreciate the time and good luck. Thanks. Appreciate it. Although I should be asking you the questions. You guys are the hockey sharp these days. Don't retire. We're like three on three hockey. Retiring one is retiring one to know. That's it. That's it. Absolutely love it. All right. So Kelly, we're looking here. The golf course playing fairly simple right now. By the way, 17 people have played one and 11 of them had burned. Yeah. Our guy did not. So that's never any good. But you know, it's fine. That's fine. Captain Keegan over. Not that I'm upset about that or anything. We said they put up the second overall pick in the NFL draft over there at Cesar's. We're going to take a look at that market. Yeah.
Appreciate you guys being with us here on a Thursday morning, getting going over there at Riviera, watching some speed skating. 34 miles an hour that guy was going. Put him on a lake. 34 miles an hour done with this inside a hockey. You see the straightaways where they put the hand behind the back. And then on the curve, they leave the one hand. But then they pump the the outside arm. So you're only running with one arm. This is like this got to be like bobsled. Like it's all about that you're not even allowed to put on skates until you get the technique down. Right? Like you said, it's the arm and you got it. That gives your momentum around the court. Yeah, it's the one arm behind the back. And then in the like I was going to make fun of when I was talking horse racing with those left shoulders, those left shoulders and those horses. They've got to be real strong to be able to go around that turn. Those turns, you know, your plan and you're getting getting a turn. Yeah. Okay. No, that's fair. I guess. I don't know. I don't know either. I got made fun of a lot when I said it, but felt like it made sense. I guess there are no race tracks that we ever watched that go the other way. By the way, I was texting Will Hill because he's
big Tom Hogi guy. What do you love about Tom Hogi? I don't I think you bet him like one time and worked out. Yeah, worked out. That's fair. But I did. Do you ever do the accidental with your text to get you hit the little microphone, right? That it's doing the voice to text. I realized that I recorded a 20 plus minute conversation of I guess just us. And I just sent it to him. Yeah. So enjoy that. Well, hopefully we said something very smart. Oh, baby, there we go. Bridgeman comes out and Eagles won. Bridgeman, two under through one. I've never been two under through one. Yeah, me neither. Never happened. Maybe a puddle. This is maybe in putt putt putt. These are I'm gonna make it fun. Hogi, but like Hogi, Rico, Hogi, we haven't seen it from him this year, right? But it wouldn't be a shocker to me at least. Rico, and I'll include Valbocky, Jake nap, mammacardi, Pearson, Kudy, like these guys all kind of half that DNA of good ball strikers, some good putters out there that you could post something low. If this win
does kick up here in a couple of an hour or two and affects the later rounds, you I have a feeling we're looking at our first round leader at the on the leaderboard right now. So there's your bolt prediction. That's my bullet prediction. Yeah. So we talked about that Ronda Rousey Gina Corona fight when it got announced. We were we were on air. It's kind of breaking news as we were on air. Right. They have come out and said because the more you get to thinking about it, you know, I had as a fight like this get sanctioned, you know, because you're talking about diesel. We already discussed so Rousey is 39 years old and hadn't fought since 2016. Yeah. Corona is 44 and has a fault since 2009. That was the first one I looked at. Like I could have Rousey, I could have kind of guessed ballpark, right? When you said this yesterday, I was like, how how old is Gina Corona? So the California Athletic Commission did come out and say they will be required to undergo medical and neurological testing more extensive than what is required of all combat sports athletes of head ahead of their May 16th MMA comeback fight. And Rousey in particular
will be put through concussion battery testing because again, she had a lot of concussions. That was one of the reasons she retired. You know, and so this is not a given that this fight is going to happen. Like I mean, it's, it's more likely than not going to happen because they don't want to have to cancel it and all that. But like it is not a given given that this thing's going to happen. Yeah. And this is what this is not being put on by UFC, right? No, this is by the Paul Verther, whatever with the other one. Yeah, you said not Logan, the Jake. Jake. Yeah. His production company. Yeah, I'll be fascinating to watch. I don't know if it's that big of a draw for people anyways. Are you that excited to watch it? Here's the thing. They are drawing upon widespread name value to see if people will tune in. Yeah. To whatever. Because again, Gina Crono, by the way, was fought on the first card that was ever on just regular
television. So CBS used to air strike force on big CBS back in the day. And it was a big, big thing. And Gina Crono was on that card. So she, she is someone that people have at least name recognition with. And then obviously run a rousey who fast and fear was arguably one of the biggest names in the UFC when she was in there. If not, the biggest name. And then went on to do WWE as well. So she was part of that. You wouldn't say biggest female UFC store of all time. Oh no, for sure. Okay. Without a question. I'm talking about in the entire UFC man or woman at the time. Oh gosh. Like could have been could have been the biggest name in the UFC at all. And uh, but again, it's 39 hadn't fought since 2016 44 and hadn't fought since 09. That's uh, I just don't, I guess my question is more like I don't, I don't really know who it's for. And I know I was the guy talking about the star power and you needing those name recognition the other day. It's just even me like I'd rather watch a rather, I'd rather watch a decent UFC car. Yeah. No, I got you in
that. So the number two overall draft pick is up over at some books out there. And by the way, good on you guys because the number one overall pick is a foregone conclusion. And so my guess is is you are getting absolutely no handle on that market basically on a day-to-day basis. So at least you put something else out there that people can get interested in. Arville Reese, if you go into all of the mock drafts that are out right now is basically the universal pick to go number two in the draft. I would say I pulled up about nine yesterday Matt from respectable sources. And I think he was on seven of nine. He was number two. So pretty much the the the choice that everybody is looking at here to go number two overall. It's very hard for me. And again, I'm not a talent evaluator, but it's very hard for me that from what I saw from him with my own eyeballs to think that a team is going to pass him up now. The biggest difference here is is is that team going to be the jets or not because maybe the jets understand that getting
one pass rusher isn't going to be like team altering for them. But maybe it is for somebody else, right? Maybe it is for one of these teams that knows that they really need to go in and get a pass rusher. And so I don't know. I'm I'm kind of coin flippy right now whether the jets take that pick it to or not. That's kind of where I sit. Okay. So real quick. Who's the because I think we could say this about a lot of these teams, right? They're the best interests that they trade down and pick up multiple picks, right? Who's the guy in this draft that people are the first name people are going to want to trade up for? I mean, Reese is right up there. Okay. Reese is really in my opinion right up there. I mean, this is a dude that had the hype and then lived up to it this season, right? I mean, everybody, I mean, I made a I made a long shot on him to go number one overall before the season started last year because I had heard everything that everyone was just all these glowing things about this guy and then he got there and did it. The only problem is is you get the you get the Raiders go number one overall and then you had a quarterback kind of emerge,
you know? And so like that just kind of killed the the dream of him going number one overall. But I think that if you're going to trade up for two, he is a guy that you could that you could trade up to. I think he is a plug and play from day one difference maker. Yeah. The the other two that I will say that I saw so Daniel Jeremiah, who one of the more respected David Bailey out of Texas tech. He does have going number two in Reese. The third pass rusher off the board to Washington. He had so even has Rubin Bango head of him. The other one is just a note. I'll throw out there. So it's over a pro football focus. He looked down. They have going number two to the jets. This is on the latest mock from Gordon McGinnis, who I will say I'm not entirely familiar with his work. So Dane Bruegler kind of puts out one of the most respected power ranking boards, you know, big boards and things like that. He he has R. Vellery says the number one player on his big board. Okay. And again, that's not all you need is the team to like somebody else, but I'm just saying
like it just for what it's worth. He has him as the best player in this draft. The best player coming out in this draft. He doesn't have he actually does not have David Bailey until six. Now that's not to say that again, another team doesn't like him better or something like that, but they do have he has Mendoza than Jeremiah love, which we know Jeremiah loves not going to go that high, but he's just ranking these guys off of ability. And what he thinks they're projected ceiling is when they get to the NFL Caleb Downs for sunny styles at five David Bailey six. And then you get a man sword to lane, which by the way, is seems to be the number kind of universally the number one corner coming off of all these not drafts as well. So when that market comes up seems like that's something you might want to get in before the the market starts to move his Bane all the way down at nine. Now there are a little bit of an all field concerns with Bane, which is something that I think some teams will care about and other teams will not and they might not care about those all to field things and think that he is actually a better player than Reese. I just think that there
are going to be a much bigger consensus on Reese being the dude at two. And I think if the Jets are open for business, which I think they should be yeah, that you could see some some action there to get up to two any bets. Maybe it's the one you just kind of mentioned about the corner anything that you think as soon as it gets posted, you're going to be betting. Yes, I will I will it seems like everybody has it's very rare because you know, it's it's still kind of click maybe right now you still want to get clicks on your thing and you're like, Oh, why is this guy have this guy going what are pretty much everybody has to lean be in the number one corner like almost every single one that I've seen anyone that you care about anyone that you respect, right. There's everybody has him be in the number one corner. And so that to me seems like one that I'm pretty pretty comfortable taking. And then I think Carnell Tate being the first wide receiver seems pretty universally decided upon as well. Yeah, I guess I've seen the two tackles right Utah Miami tackles, I guess I've seen them flip flop data on a couple ones. Yeah, man, this is a so far week week
week NFL draft betting interest for me this year week. Yeah, man, interesting. Compared to past years, just drafts is pretty much a banger at the top just yeah, there's no quarterbacks. We roll along here in numbers game of pieces.
