A Gruesome Celebrity Encounter: The Diddy Files Chapter One

0:00Hi guys, welcome to chapter 1 of The Ditty Files. As I ramp up for our new episodes about the complex life and death of Tupac Shakur, I wanted to revisit the handful of documentary episodes I've done about Diddy. This first chapter revolves around a civil suit that was brought by a woman named Ashley Parham. This case, I do want to say, has been dismissed since I first made this episode. In December of 2025, the judge dropped Ashley's case for failure to prosecute. However, I am rewriting this episode for a few reasons. When I first wrote this episode, I did speak with individuals with direct knowledge of Ashley Parham's case. And they told me that they did believe her allegations. They told me at the time that Ashley was struggling to retain counsel for reasons that didn't necessarily relate to the veracity of her story. The docket on this case also indicates that Ashley asked the judge for more time to procure counsel immediately prior to the judge dismissing her case.

1:01Further, one of the defendants named in Ashley's case, a former Las Vegas Metro officer named John Pelletier, has publicly decried Ashley's story as false and a smear attempt targeting him. In researching Pelletier, however, I did find a Vegas case that caught my attention. In 2018, Pelletier oversaw the mass detention of dozens of black people at a birthday party at the Rio Hotel. The Las Vegas Police Department published the photos and names of the nine people they arrested and basically outright called them gang members. Pelletier said at the time, quote, they're documented gang members that pose a threat to the community. After this mass arrest and these very public accusations of these people being involved in gang activity, the ACLU filed a lawsuit claiming that the individuals arrested had been targeted for simply being black and having a birthday party in obvious violation of the Civil Rights Act.

2:03That suit has been settled for an undisclosed amount. So in keeping with Pelletier's apparent belief that if you think an individual may be a threat to the community, you should say so. I am rerunning this episode. I do want to emphasize that allegations are just that allegations. The accusations made by Ashley in this episode do just indicate that she has said these events happened to her. If what Ashley is saying is true, her story has elements that I've been hearing about a lot while observing the two-pock murder trial. Dirty cops, senseless violence, and Sean Diddy-Combs. Testify. Before we begin, a quick heads up. The story I'm going to be telling today centers around allegations of violent crimes, including sexual assault and kidnapping. I'm going to be recounting an alleged victim's story in detail because I think it's important to share her accusations

3:05in a specific manner as she did. I think legal jargon can blunt the severity of the claims being made here. That said, I do want to give a quick pause for folks who might not be in for that today. If you're ready, though, let's jump in. You know that feeling when you notice ants in your house? It's always just a couple at first. Maybe you stumble out of bed and find one wandering around the coffee maker. Then you pull back. You see more. They're all in line. You keep tracing further to the corners of your ceiling. Down to that crack in the clock. You never noticed till now. If you're like me, an infestation like this is a little sickening to see. A full, unprovoked invasion of my kitchen. It's also morbidly fascinating in a way.

4:07The organized intelligence of a colony, the scale of it, the way the hive can just quietly mobilize. It makes me itchy to think about. This is how it feels digging through the many allegations currently pending against Sean Combs. As you likely know, Combs is the rapper and business mogul who has also, at several points in his career, changed his name, most recently to love. Here, Combs explains his rotating name process on the Graham Norton show. There's been different eras. So it has been the puff daddy era, the P diddi era. Can I drop the P didn't it was the diddi era? And now this is the ultimate goal I have become love. Okay. But do I call you love? No.

5:07See, this is where it gets confusing. It does get confusing. So from here on out, I'm mostly going to call him Combs. In my episode of this show on two-pock and biggie with Winter Roboc Mitchell, I talked about Combs frequent changing of names. It's a tactic I've seen sketchy companies use. They change their names every couple of years in an ostensible attempt to distance themselves from themselves to become harder to find or pin down. So Combs is Combs. And the number of disturbing allegations against him is staggering. To date, there are over 62 civil cases filed against Combs. This is in addition to the criminal charges that have left Combs in federal custody without bail. Here the US Attorney in New York explains why he's unsealed Combs federal indictment.

6:10Today I'm announcing the unsealing of a three count indictment. Charging Sean Combs with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, interstate transportation for prostitution. The indictment alleges that between at least 2008 and the present, Combs abuse, threatened, and coerce victims to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct. Over and over in both the indictment and the many civil cases, what's alleged is depraved abuse, the kind of darkness that seems too twisted to be true. Does something snap in people as powerful as Combs? Does that kind of wealth, that kind of muscle just break you? Because it's not just Combs. Not at all. In some ways, Combs feels like that first aunt you spot by the coffee maker,

7:13the one who seems like a lone ranger until you notice the army marching behind him. There have been times as I read through these complaints that the pit of my stomach sinks. It's that first lurch I've felt when bungee jumping or skydiving. It's my body understanding, we're going into free fall. Because these court documents describe in unflinching detail, acts of unspeakable violence. In them, I see webs of complicit people. I see names that I know. Other celebrities. One's that I like, that everyone does. People behind the scenes who I recognize from other huge exploitations and tragedies in music history. Stories that used to seem unrelated seem like maybe they aren't.

8:15If even some of these Combs allegations are true, this network of unfathomable abuse stretches back decades and across music, sports, the film industries. Honestly, it really scares me because some of these people know who I am too. I've gotten legal threats from them. They've had me photographed. They might listen to this episode. Today's episode, Sean Diddy-Combs, in alleged surprise attack.

9:17Tucked inside each of the many shocking claims against Combs, are grim details and unnerving connections. Each one is its own rabbit hole. I think it's important to go down these holes. I think they hold answers about the dark power dynamics that course through the entertainment industry. So this season, I'll be periodically returning to this story, chipping away at different pieces of it. The complaint I'm focusing on today is from a woman named Ashley Parham. Ashley is filing her lawsuit along with two other people. More on them later. But one thing that makes Ashley's case stand out to me is she's not an anonymous accuser.

10:23Unlike many of Combs' other accusers, Ashley doesn't start out as a business associate of Combs. She wasn't at one of his parties. Ashley says she only crosses paths with Combs, because in late winter 2018, she's just a girl at a bar. Ashley's account of being attacked by Combs and his associates is horrific. Part of what makes her story so chilling to me is that she says it all starts with what sounds like a fairly normal night. At a bar, drinking with strangers. According to Ashley's complaint, some guy at the bar gets into an altercation with her. This other random guy, Shane Pierce, swoops in and acts like Ashley's night in shining armor. In an interview with News Nation, Ashley gives a pained retelling of her entire alleged encounter with Combs. She says it all begins over a video call.

11:25Here, outside this bar, that this new guy, Pierce, starts showing off to Ashley. He facetimes with a famous friend. He had Chon Combs on a facetime thumb pole. And he overheard me saying I wasn't impressed by him and wasn't a fan. And that I thought he killed two-pock. As I discussed in my two-pock and biggie episode, this allegation that Combs ordered the killing of music legend two-pock Shakur has been echoed by multiple people. The documentary Murder Wrap features the last living man believed to have been in the car that fired at two-pock. In the film, they play police tapes where this man literally talks about Combs offering him a million dollars to put a hit on two-pock.

12:32He tells you seriously, man, I need to get rid of these guys. I'm just looking at you in the eyes and doing them. It's like scared. He tells them we'll do it for a million and he's like, okay, I'll do it for a million. He agrees. So Ashley's not the first to accuse Combs himself of ordering two-pock's public execution. Still, outside of this bar on facetime, Ashley says she watches Combs become noticeably angered by this accusation. That's when he threatened me. That he was gonna come after me. And he threatened he was gonna eat my face so I didn't take him seriously. I just thought he was a bizarre human being. According to Ashley, Combs doesn't let her comment go. Far from it. In just a few weeks' time, Ashley says she's in his literal grip, fearing for her life. Until that allegedly happens though, Ashley doesn't know how much danger she's in.

13:37She maintains contact with Shane Pierce, that guy from the bar who she says facetimeed Combs in the first place. She says during this time, Pierce tells her he's in treatment for cancer. Then one day, he calls her and asks her to come over. He needs help getting some of his medication open. So, she drives over to Pierce's lower floor apartment in the San Francisco suburb of Orinda, California. The whole place is on a windy road without street lights. It's a quiet area, normally. Ashley says when she gets there, Pierce is fine. He doesn't need her help. And in about face, what he actually wants to do is take Ashley for a spin in his new car. In hindsight, Ashley will wonder about this new car. Who actually paid for it?

14:38And why? Right now though, she just goes on a spin with what she thinks is her new friend. They return to Pierce's house. When they do, she says Pierce comments on the fact that his front door is a jar. It won't close all the way. Then, he offers her a glass of water. I drink it and I started to fill a little bit off. And then, I heard a bunch of people coming down the stairs. And they, I was Sean Combs. And a whole bunch of people who just busted in the door. And just into boisterous manner and acting, he said something like, but you didn't think you were ever going to see me. The fright still sounds fresh. There, allegedly standing in the middle of this studio apartment in this sleepy suburb is a big group of people,

15:47including Sean Combs himself, the superstar, the mogul, the guy Ashley has accused of killing Tupac. As for about to get into, there's a lot going on with this group Combs has with him. Some of this alleged entourage are stars in their own right. Some appear to be involved in sinister hobbies. At least two of these people say they are there against their will. These are the other two people Ashley is filing this lawsuit with. Her co-plane tips, who signed on a couple months after Ashley. Unlike Ashley, these two are anonymous, known as Jane and John Doe. They say they're hiding their identities for their own safety. What we do know about Jane and John Doe is that they are a mother and son.

16:50According to the complaint, Jane and John are in disorinda apartment, because a couple days prior, they have been kidnapped at gunpoint. They alleged that while walking from their home in Las Vegas, they were abducted. That one of the other guys in this big group with Combs, a defendant named John Pelleteer, snatched them. They say at first, Pelleteer tells them he's a cop. That he's taking them because they have arrest warrants in California. The mother and son say they tell Pelleteer they don't have warrants. They say they request an attorney that this request is met with threats of violence. John and Jane Doe say they soon realize this isn't an actual lawful arrest, but it's too late. They're captives. Though the supposed arrest warrant may be non-existent, this Pelleteer guy is a real cop.

17:54He's actually currently the police chief in Maui, Hawaii. He was working for the Las Vegas PD at the time of this alleged kidnapping. My name is John Pelleteer. I'm a captain with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. I oversee the major violator and narcotics bureau. The same year of this alleged kidnapping and assault, Pelleteer is an integral part of a big gang arrest on the Las Vegas Strip. In media appearances, Pelleteer takes a tough on gangs stance. We're not going to tolerate that kind of activity coming here on the strip. And what do I mean by that is, gang parties are not welcome on the strip. The allegations against Pelleteer painted the police officer as someone who is actually disturbingly comfortable with gang parties. The complaint includes two photos identifying Pelleteer. In one of them, he appears to be standing behind combs on the field post-superbowl.

18:54Pelleteer has firmly denied all of the allegations in the complaint. He says he has proof he was in Las Vegas on the day of the alleged horrenda attack. He also denies having been to the Superbowl with combs. According to his Jane and John Doe accusers though, once Pelleteer kidnaps them, he smuggles them into California. They say they hear Pelleteer communicate with other people. They get the impression that this guy is part of an organized syndicate. One that has rules and guidelines. These include only using apps like WhatsApp to message and addressing accomplices by their middle name as a sort of alias. They say while kidnapped, they meet up with several associates of Pelleteers. The SUV they're in joins up with other SUVs in a caravan. The Doe plaintiffs claim throughout the trip from Vegas to Orinda, they are given water they believe is drugged.

19:54That they're taken to various safe houses. Places that seem friendly to this syndicate. They claim members of the syndicate pistol whip them when they are not compliant with demands. Jane and John Doe say they're ultimately turned over to two female captors. Here's something else surprising. The Does say they know this woman because at one point both she and the Does were owed money by the Michael Jackson estate. We're not going to get into Michael now, not yet, but just put a pin in that. Shortly, the Does claim to find themselves in that studio apartment in Orinda, California. The place where Ashley Parham is staring stunned at this entourage of intruders and the Sean Diddy Combs. I was just in complete shock and frozen.

20:54He basically started threatening me with human trafficking. And that they could take me anywhere in Summy. Ashley says Combs approaches her with a knife and holds it to the right side of her face. Then he threatens to give her a glass-gown smile. This is an old gangster term that means slicing someone's face from their lip to their ear. According to Ashley, a member of the syndicate steps in here. A woman named Christina Korum. Korum is someone who's mentioned quite a bit in the Combs complaints. Combs himself has called Korum his right hand. Korum allegedly tells Combs Ashley won't be much good for sex trafficking if she's got a glass-gown smile. Then Ashley says Combs removes the knife from her face.

21:58She alleges Pierce and Combs work together to undress her. That Combs pulls a bottle of oil out from his fanny pack and squirts it all over Ashley's naked body. Now Ashley says Combs orders Korum to make cruel preparations for the impending assault. He had Christina Korum. He ordered her to insert a copper IUD into my vagina. Ashley's shell-shocked voice, the specificity of the word copper, are telling to me. Ashley says Korum doesn't try to insert the IUD alone. She has a helper. Another member of the syndicate, a woman named Brandi Cunningham. This woman Brandi is also identified in the assault complaint by her photo yes,

23:00but additionally by her nursing ID number. Based on publicly available information, it appears as of recording that Brandi Cunningham is a licensed nurse. I reached out to Brandi for comment and have not heard back. Dicking further into Brandi's online presence, I am able to locate what appears to be another one of Brandi's jobs, religious minister, and life coach. Brandi and her husband operate a religious nonprofit called Fireside Grace. According to its website, Fireside Grace is a Christian Ministry Service. A lot about Fireside's online presence feels pretty bare bones. Like the facade of something, there isn't much too. There aren't really a lot of pictures of members of this church on the website or anywhere I could see on social media.

24:01What there are are amateur-seeming videos made by Brandi and her husband. In this video from Brandi's life coach page, Brandi appears to combine her nursing background with her proselytizing. Speak to anyone that might be suffering from a gallbladder disease such as gallstones, too much bile, high cholesterol, not enough bile salts, any gallbladder disease. And I say gallbladder come into alignment with exactly how God created you to be. You contain just enough bile to break down exactly what you were created to break down. Gallstones meet dissolved right now in the name of Jesus. It gets weirder. In the captions for many of these videos, Brandi includes a long list of cryptocurrency addresses you can use if you'd like to donate to her church.

25:09It's not just Bitcoin and Ethereum. Those are there. But there are also addresses for obscure cryptocurrencies that I had to look up. Cardo, XRP, and of course, Dogecoin. Brandi has another apparent passion, aside from seeking untraceable crypto donations. She calls it abortion prevention. In a video on Fireside Graces website, Brandi talks about her time working in pregnancy centers, which are not actual medical clinics. They are designed to appear like one in the hope of pressuring women to keep their pregnancies. In this video, Brandi raises a alarm about what she sees as the current state of abortion in America. The satanic temple is not that far away from opening their first 24 hours, 70 a week online care clinic, care quotes, where they provide abortion pills per prescription for free.

26:12We need to really step up as the church. And I am urging you, I'm calling you, I'm reckoning you, I'm setting a fire under you to be a part of the solution. Ashley says Brandi, this hardcore anti-abortionist, this registered nurse, is the one who works with Korum to force an IUD into Ashley's body. With Ashley naked, drugged, and covered in oil, Ashley says a syringe in sterile packaging is brought out. But it doesn't work. The IUD deploys before they can get it all the way in. What Ashley remembers next is distressing to hear. That's when Sean Combs got extremely angry and he grabbed the TV remote and sexually assaulted me, vaginally, with the remote extremely violently.

27:15As this is happening, Ashley says her cries are blood-curdling. She alleges Combs has guys outside guarding the place, making sure her screams fall on deaf ears. She says Combs instructs Pierce to rape her, that he does. Then Ashley alleges, it's someone else's turn. Drude boards, more famously known as the comedian Drusky. This guy's worked quite a bit on Revolt TV, the television studio owned by Combs. According to Ashley, Drusky pours more oil over her and then treats her body like quote, a slip-in slide, knocking the wind out of her. Ashley says she's also raped by another man. She says Combs is right there for the whole thing. Sean Combs was sitting in a chair naked, filming it and jerking off to watching.

28:19Ashley says at the time she doesn't know who this attacker is. Jane and John Doe say they're stricken by how much more in shape he is than the others. All of them say they hear him referred to by his middle name Aelius, Cornelius. Only later says Ashley, does she realize Cornelius' full name is Odele Cornelius Beckham Jr. As in, the wide receiver for the New York Giants. Though Ashley and Jane and John Doe all say they've identified Drusky and Odele, both men strongly deny the allegations against them. While all this is allegedly happening, John Doe says he loses sight of his mother. Jane Doe says while separated from her son, she is sexually assaulted by one of Combs associates. Ashley says after the consecutive attacks, she searches for her clothes.

29:23She finds a random t-shirt and puts it on. Her body is limp and lifeless. While Ashley is in this state, she alleges, Koram approaches her with an item that is a reoccurring fixture in the Combs complaints. A fanny pack full of drugs. Ashley says Combs takes a pill from the fanny pack and forces Ashley to take it. Then she recalls, Combs and his posse go outside to the house's backyard and start partying, drinking, smoking cigarettes and weed. With their captors outside, Ashley, Jane and John Doe now allegedly in various states of having been abused and drugged, quietly plot their escape. Jane and John Doe help Ashley find the knife, the one that she claims comes threatened to give her a glass-gall smile with. I found that knife because they had left it in there.

30:25So I tried to hide it on my left side underneath partially of the t-shirt. And I stepped outside and that's right where the bodyguard with a gun was and they told me to sit down. In a state of shock and allegedly under the close watch of Combs' henchmen, Ashley sits in the backyard with that knife hidden under her shirt. While sitting there, she says this bodyguard takes his phone out and shows her what appears to be a live stream. It looks like surveillance of Ashley's sister's house. While processing this not-so-avail threat, Ashley says she also receives a bribe offer. Combs wants to give her hush money.

31:25She says she refuses the money. That she's not going to stay silent. That Combs raped her. That's when Sean Combs had bragged about getting away with way worse than what he had done to me and he admitted to killing two pukes or having him killed. And that's when the bodyguard turned the gun around on Sean Combs. That's right. Ashley claims that this bragg that Combs killed two pukes leads Combs' bodyguard to turn on Combs and fire a shot at him. She says the bullet goes off into the hill. That's when I kind of lost my mind and I had the knife and I ran at Sean Combs and he tried to... He started to run up the stairs and I hit him in the back with my left hand and he fell down on the stairs.

32:31And I had the knife and both of my hands and I was going to plunge the knife into him because it would kill or be killed situation. And his face looked so scared that he was looking at me like I was the monster when he's the monster and my moral compass snapped back in and I decided that this is insane. I can't do this. The pause is in Ashley's speech feels so loaded, full of fear. Ashley says after she spares Combs' life, he gets up and chases her down the stairs. That she defends herself with a knife, grazing his abdomen. She says Korum rushes to Combs to give him first aid.

33:32Ashley says she flees the backyard in just that baggy t-shirt she's wearing. She makes it out to the street. Jane and John Doe, meanwhile, say they have been upstairs with Korum, who they claim is coercing them to sign some kind of a document. They're not sure what it is, but they think it might have something to do with that money the Michael Jackson estate owes them. They say when Korum rushes to give Combs first aid, the Does also see their chance to flea. They run next door and beg a neighbor to call 911. No luck. They say they see a police officer on the street. Before they can ask him for help though, they claim Palatear that cop from Vegas in Hawaii appears. They say Palatear waves off the beat cop and tells him that this is a federal investigation. Don't interfere. Then they say there is more gunfire.

34:33Ashley believes this is Combs firing at her from back on the hill. Jane and John Doe say they shelter from the shots by ducking behind parked cars. Here they say they're able to turn the syndicate members watching them against one another by inciting an argument over money. As a result of this argument, Jane and John Doe say they're able to flee in one of the SUVs and drive to the nearest police station. Ashley though says she's still stuck. Still half naked and drugged at the top of this dark mountain road. She says a neighbor finds her hiding. Together they make their way back to his house. The neighbor has already called the police. But Ashley is not safe. Not yet. When the police officer showed up, he really couldn't have cared less about what I was saying. He didn't offer me help. He didn't offer me an ambulance.

35:35I told him that Sean Combs had raped me. And he didn't offer me a ride or any type of help. He just left me for dead there. Resignation and anger seeped through an Ashley's voice here. When Ashley sits for this news nation interview, she does not yet appear to know the identity of the police man at this neighbor's house. The one she says left her for dead. In her amended complaint, however, filed March of 2025, Ashley claims that police officer is paleteer. She alleges that during this home visit, she watches paleteer give the neighbor something else that's a reoccurring fixture in the Combs stories. An envelope that looks like it's filled with cash.

36:35The neighbor says Ashley can sleep things off at his place, but Ashley doesn't really trust this guy either. She's not sure what to make of that exchange she thinks went down with paleteer. Also, she's still without clothes, her purse, cell phone. She says when she finally hears the cars peel out from Pierce's house, with her alleged attackers gone, she wanders back over to find her belongings. Week and exhausted, she falls asleep there. The next morning, she says she's given her purse and keys, and she finally drives home. Here, it is worth noting that Combs himself has denied all of the allegations Ashley's made against him. He says he was nowhere near Orinda, California on the night in question. It is also worth noting that after this alleged attack, Ashley starts doing all of the things you're supposed to do.

37:36She gets tested for HIV by her doctor. She does a rape kit at the hospital. She says hospital staff called the cops for her. That Ashley gives the Walnut Creek Police a statement from her hospital room. Ashley and her attorneys say this statement was captured on body cam footage that the police have confirmed a rape report was made. But Ashley says what's never been made is an attempt to catch her attacker. If anything, the cops seem to dodge Ashley. When Ashley tries to get her trauma therapy paid for by a victim's relief fund, they tell her she's ineligible. No police officer has opened an investigation into her case. When Ashley and her attorney try to get a copy of her police report, the cops say that report is confidential.

38:38They won't even give Ashley's own statement to the literal person who filed it. This, like the stacks of cash and the fanny packs of drugs, is yet another reoccurring theme in the Ditty Complaints, the alleged complicity of law enforcement, dirty cops who are also gang members, gang members who are in with the cops. The syndicate appears to be complicated, sophisticated, and deeply embedded within our own civil servants. Perhaps for over 30 years, the police have been protecting and serving the wrong guys, or at the very least not sticking up for the right ones. In the documentary Murder Wrap, Detective Greg Cating talks about working the two-pack bickie case for three years

39:39and making real progress, only to have the LAPD basically do nothing. Perhaps it was the LAPD's opinion. The shooters in both of these murders are dead. And although the co-conspirators are still walking free, maybe it's best just to let sleeping dogs lie. If it is true that combs paid the same amount of money, if it is true that combs paid to have two-pack killed, what else is his doing? How far does this network reach? These allegations paint a picture of an organization that's bigger than any one superstar. They feel like the dark, connective tissue that binds together decades of music history. It's impossible to say who this case is, Jean and John Doe are. It's hard to gauge whether at some point these people actually did lend money to Michael Jackson.

40:46What I will say though is these plaintiffs, and that combs associate they implicate, are not the first connections I've encountered from the Sean Diddy Combs world to Michael Jackson's. In another complaint filed right around the same time, a music producer named Rodney Jones goes into great detail. He talks about his own view into what he says is the dark world of combs' depravity. He includes photos. He names names. One of those names is someone who Rodney claims is a fixer. Someone who's so bad, they can make things good with the cops. In addition to being an alleged employee of combs, this guy is a confirmed former employee of Michael Jackson's. Someone who was there in Michael's final days.

41:50I'll be getting into that case in much more detail, and it's not just the prince of pop who this web appears to connect to. Rodney, unlike Ashley, spent time in combs' music business world. He implicates a number of these people, famous people, money people, accused of keeping this sick network pumping. These are the people pulling the strings behind other music royalty. They're the same people who know who I am. Now, maybe you can see why this stuff makes my stomach drop. Maybe you can sense how far back this line of ants extends. 42:51On this season of the show, I'll be revisiting combs often, looking for origins, patterns, connections. I'll be attempting to untangle the tentacles of this Sean Combs organism. I'll also be doing plenty of weird silly nostalgic topics too, because I think those stories are fun. And that's important too. Stay tuned. Okay?
