2:01
Right now, though, let's enjoy this special presentation from Brian and Liz Fullerton,
2:06
and thank you for being a part of our podcast family.
2:09
What I want to talk about for just a couple of minutes here, and hopefully a couple of
2:13
you guys get a couple things out of this.
2:14
I don't know if this will relate and resonate with everybody, but I love how Sam Gimbal
2:17
wrapped up his presentation with the tail end talking about it.
2:20
You get all fired up and all motivated and all encouraged, but then I don't know if you
2:25
Conference is like, there's quite a bit, plugging the things online quite a bit, and it's
2:29
almost like you get to this time of the event, this time of the conference, and you're like,
2:32
do you guys got all this information, all this data?
2:35
And it's like, what do I do with it?
2:38
And you got to be careful with that, because around this time of the conference, you can
2:41
start thinking to yourself, dude, do I actually like have what it takes to do all this on
2:47
Is this actually something I want to do?
2:51
Does anybody ever feel that way?
2:53
You start kind of like having that negative feedback loop in your mind again, thinking
2:57
to myself, man, I don't know if I can be as debeneer as a Sam Gimbal, or as good-looking
3:02
as a Western Zimmerman, or whatever.
3:06
I want to talk about that loop that's always going on in your mind.
3:11
Criticism and doubt.
3:12
I want to talk about that for just a couple quick minutes, because Liz and I had a photo
3:16
on our old apartment wall for quite a while, and it said, doubt kills more dreams than
3:25
Doub kills more dreams than failure ever would, and that criticism and that doubt is what
3:29
I wanted to talk about for just a couple minutes.
3:32
She's ever heard the book or read the book, Thinking Grow Rich.
3:35
Thoughts are things, desire, faith, auto-suggestion, specialized knowledge.
3:39
You guys know the chapters.
3:40
If you haven't read the book, it's a classic.
3:42
Despite what anybody says, it's a classic, and it's a good book.
3:46
Chapter 15 is talked about the fear of criticism.
3:47
There's six ghosts of fear.
3:49
Anybody ever hear about that?
3:50
The six ghosts of fear or read that?
3:52
Jeff, you've read that?
3:54
Poverty, criticism, ill-houth, loss of love, old age, death.
3:58
You're like, how is this dude chapter of a title verse, Thinking Grow Rich?
4:03
Because I'm psychopathic about learning about success, because when you came as far back
4:06
as we did, I read every single book that I could get my hands on.
4:09
It was like, man, I'm from heaven.
4:11
It was like water to somebody in the desert.
4:13
It was water to a dry sponge.
4:15
And all I did for the last 15 to 20 years of my life is eat, breathe, and sleep, successful
4:19
people like Sam, Jeff, and all these different people.
4:24
That stuff helped me, like you wouldn't believe.
4:25
And the biggest thing, one of the biggest things that I struggled with was doubt and fear
4:29
and criticism, and inferiority complex, and comparing myself to a Cornell Mac, I'm like,
4:35
I don't know if I can do what they do, and I learned along the way that I can.
4:39
I'm going to help you guys navigate that for just a quick second.
4:41
But in that chapter, this really set me free.
4:43
I talked about the fear of criticism, and that's something that, there's two types of
4:47
it, and we're going to talk about that for a quick minute.
4:49
There's criticism from everybody out in the world, and there's also that self-criticism.
4:53
There's going to talk about self-criticism for a minute.
4:55
I'm going to talk about the criticism from everybody in the world.
4:58
Oh, dude, it just gets me so fired up right now, because who out here believes, or who
5:03
here sees the amount of criticism or complaining or the whining that's going on in society
5:11
But is it amplified in just so much louder than ever because of social media?
5:17
You buy something, you get something, you wear something, you do something, and everybody
5:21
has an opinion about everything, and thank to Jesus, the social media all exists from
5:27
Facebook to whatever, and everybody gets the comments on all of the above.
5:32
And it's such a weird thing that none of us had to really navigate 10 years ago.
5:37
The only people that had to navigate that stuff were somebody in the MLB taking an
5:40
app-bat, dude strikes out, 20,000 people say, boo, that was it.
5:46
But now you run your lawnal landscape business, and you buy a mower, and somebody says,
5:51
I think that business is going to work, buy you buy an X-mark, shut about a scag, that
5:57
thing's just going to break down anyway.
5:59
You think you can make money in that business?
6:01
Our whole family's last name always failed that business, what makes you think that you're
6:03
going to be successful?
6:04
You're like, hey, Aunt Robin, shut your face, where the hell did you come from?
6:10
And who also taught you how to get on Facebook?
6:17
Talk about more about it in a second.
6:18
I don't want a steamroll here, but go ahead.
6:19
You want to talk about self-criticism for a couple of quick minutes.
6:22
So self-criticism is probably one of the biggest enemies I've faced in my entire life.
6:27
It's something I continue to battle against every single day.
6:30
Especially as a mom, I know I have quite a few of you ladies in here, like you just can
6:33
never be good enough.
6:34
You can never be good enough in your business.
6:36
There's always something that you could have done better.
6:38
But I also believe that self-criticism isn't necessarily bad if you follow just a little
6:43
Anytime I have a thought pop up where I'm doubting or criticizing myself, I think to myself,
6:50
Is what I'm calling myself out on?
6:54
Could I be actually better in this area?
6:55
Or am I comparing my worst against somebody else's best online?
7:01
Does that make any sense of like, is it something I'm trying to achieve?
7:05
It's really cool that, you know, Susie can grow all these vegetables and her kids eat
7:08
nothing but organic, but is that even my goal?
7:13
Two is, like I said, it's not a bad thing to be self-critical, but how are you talking
7:21
to yourself about it?
7:22
Check your voice in which that you're saying things to yourself.
7:25
You hear your voice non-stop from the moment you wake up to the time you go to the bed
7:29
and honestly, even in your dreams, your voice is constantly the one that you hear when
7:32
you're reading your life.
7:34
If you aren't talking to yourself kindly, how are you going to talk to anybody else?
7:38
How are you expecting other people to talk about your business or to you?
7:42
Or how are you going to talk to your children?
7:43
How are you going to talk to your spouse?
7:45
Your self voice is extremely important.
7:47
So it's okay to be a little bit critical when it's warranted.
7:51
And then also check how you're talking about yourself to yourself.
7:54
Are you saying things like, I'm the worst at this.
8:00
The world's worst mom.
8:02
I didn't do that so good.
8:03
Yes, there is room for improvement.
8:04
The criticism is warranted, but I'm getting myself grace enough to improve.
8:09
And you can really bring yourself out quickly too with the negative spiral.
8:13
So our other thing too is comparison.
8:16
I think it goes hand in hand with self-criticism.
8:18
It is impossible to maintain friendships with high caliber people with a heavy dose of
8:23
self-criticism in a negative way.
8:26
We could not be friends with people like the almonds if we were just so self-critical
8:31
and in competition with them.
8:33
How am I supposed to be in competition with a bringing almond?
8:36
Look at their business.
8:37
Look at my business.
8:38
She's got three kids.
8:40
She's, to me, bringing almond is goals.
8:43
But I can remain her friend by finding her inspiring in somebody that I can look up to.
8:47
Somebody was on my team.
8:48
We cheer each other on.
8:49
But if I'm so self-critical that I'm in my own head saying, you'll never be as good
8:53
You'll never, you know, homeschool your kid or run a freaking business.
8:56
I don't know how to run an excavator.
8:58
Do I look like I know how to do that?
8:59
I don't even cut grass, honestly.
9:02
So you know, take everything I'm seeing with a grain of salt, bring you, like you said,
9:06
I'm not a professional speaker.
9:07
I am behind the scenes of our business a lot.
9:09
I'm not in the field like you guys, but I am a business owner and I experience criticism
9:14
and self-doubt every single day.
9:16
And those are my couple tips to kind of help you get through it.
9:20
One thing I wanted to share with you guys, and can you guys do me a solid write this down?
9:26
Write this down, help you.
9:28
You can't fix thoughts with thoughts.
9:33
You can only fix thoughts with words.
9:39
And I love you guys and I want to love on you guys, and I'm telling you guys, this loop
9:43
that's not replayed, I've been there, I've done that, you got to knock that stuff off
9:46
and the only way you can control what's going on up top is you start speaking out loud.
9:51
And I don't care what you believe or how you believe or what you believe too, but I'm
9:55
just telling you, words have power.
9:58
And when those words go out of your mouth, they better be speaking life.
10:02
My guys never show up, I never get the breaks, I never get the jobs.
10:10
Anyone ever say stuff like that?
10:12
I've said it, you've said it.
10:14
Instead you can say, you know what?
10:15
I'm so excited, Cory Ballard got that new commercial job.
10:18
The next commercial job, my company's getting it.
10:22
I'm so excited that Cory Ballard followed a new forum in for his Moe Kruehn company,
10:27
That next guy, that next guy that's looking for a foreman job, he's going to call my company
10:29
and I'm going to get that lead.
10:31
You start fixing your words, you start fixing those words, they'll start fixing your thoughts
10:36
and your thoughts lead to what, your actions, your actions lead to what, your character,
10:39
your character leads to what, your habits, your habits lead to what, your destiny.
10:43
And it starts up here and then people go, fullerton, you're all about the dream and
10:46
all about words and all about the vision.
10:48
I'm like, bro, it always starts there.
10:52
You can go talk about moors all day and systems and leadership and all this mess.
10:56
But if you got head trash up here and you got self-limiting beliefs and you go haul
10:59
off and do nothing because you keep reverting back the old software, we're doomed.
11:05
So that's why we spend so much time doing brain surgery.
11:10
Let me shift gears a little bit.
11:11
I want to talk about criticism of others.
11:13
Oh, like they said, the highlight reel comparing your worst to someone else's best, season
11:19
of being in the desert, waiting for your breakthrough, negative self-talk.
11:22
We've got to get rid of that nonsense.
11:24
Criticism from others, again, who out here, who here has bought something, done something,
11:30
went to a family function, you were all excited, you told somebody, and whether they admitted
11:34
to or meant to or not, they poo-pooed on your progress.
11:38
Does anybody bend like that?
11:41
Give me some examples.
11:42
Who's poo-pooed at?
11:45
Give me some other examples.
11:46
I saw a bunch of hands.
11:47
You guys hold somebody's dream over this way and somebody just made fun of you.
11:52
Somebody had to raise hand?
11:55
Somebody made fun of you about that?
11:57
You're not going to make any money in snow?
11:59
Yeah, there you go.
12:00
Anybody over here, you got a story.
12:01
Somebody made fun of your criticize you on the red?
12:03
I thought, thank you.
12:04
Every lawnmower you bought, somebody makes fun of it.
12:05
It says it's not the right one.
12:06
You know, it's really interesting.
12:07
We're all on the same Facebook groups.
12:08
We're all in the same social media realms.
12:09
I've yet to find the perfect lawnmower.
12:20
I'm like, I buy a scag and I'm like, I'm like, I didn't know that.
12:26
Hey, man, you know, Toro is all the belt slip and the police suck.
12:33
They're too expensive.
12:34
I know, but they're really good.
12:36
Yeah, X-Mark sucks.
12:38
Go talk to Ed, right?
12:40
He's like, I'll tell you why everybody sucks.
12:42
Because he's really smart.
12:43
Well, you don't have any dealers in Michigan.
12:46
Well, what are you going to do?
12:47
I'm like, I don't get it right.
12:48
I don't get it right.
12:49
I don't get it right.
12:50
I don't get it right.
12:51
I don't get it right.
12:52
I don't get it right.
12:55
That guy's got the answer.
12:56
That guy's got the answer.
12:57
And you let that wear on you for two, five, ten, twenty years.
12:59
And you start realizing, I've got nothing figured out.
13:02
And everybody else hasn't all figured out.
13:05
You want some inside baseball?
13:08
Pretty much every single person that criticizes you has no clue what they're talking about.
13:12
The older I get, the more I realize.
13:14
Most people have no idea what they're talking about.
13:16
And in fact, you sticking to your guns and you making a decision
13:19
and you making it right, you're the one that's usually got the right answer.
13:22
Because you know what makes sense for you?
13:24
You know what makes sense for your business.
13:27
I started podcast, Liz and I.
13:28
We're so excited about a podcast in 2019.
13:32
I don't even remember it.
13:33
I don't even remember it.
13:38
We're going to do podcast.
13:39
It's going to be awesome.
13:40
I just want to share my stories and help the world.
13:43
It wasn't about like three minutes later.
13:45
This guy says, how big is your business?
13:47
Are you really in the position to be giving advice to other small business owners?
13:51
It's through there.
13:53
Yeah, I thought so.
13:55
Yeah, I thought so.
13:57
I thought, you know, I was just about to help people.
13:59
I wasn't trying to like, you know, change the world.
14:02
Three years later, two point a f and million downloads.
14:08
Somebody, somebody find Digerman Chad and send him a screenshot and say, hey, three years later, I got three million downloads.
14:18
I've been number eight on the podcast charge for like 10 days straight.
14:22
Top 200 for three F and years.
14:25
Boy, I'm sure glad I didn't listen to Chad Digerman.
14:29
The hell was it Chad Digerman?
14:34
We buy a house in 2019.
14:36
Hey, or by land in 2019.
14:40
We were so excited.
14:42
We were so excited about it.
14:44
We dreamt of buying land forever, forever, forever, forever, forever.
14:46
It's literally, since even before we got married, this was like a goal of ours one day.
14:54
And, you know, it's emotional.
14:56
It's a big dream accomplished.
14:58
And people still have to decide.
15:00
This guy, I don't know who the hell this loser is.
15:02
I'm watching a YouTube video one night.
15:04
Somebody sends it to me.
15:06
Hey, some great slow contrast in the comment threads.
15:08
Seriously, it's a quick side note.
15:10
Our social media, that's his super humbly, but understand where I'm coming from.
15:12
Our social media is so all over the place that there's not a single day where somebody's not talking shit about me.
15:20
What we're right now is talking shit about me on his Instagram.
15:28
If you type in like hate brands all minutes, it'll probably come up like a top 100.
15:32
Who thought making YouTube videos about how to cut grass could be such a controversial thing on the internet?
15:38
I'm like, what do these people do before I existed?
15:40
And they had like something to do after 9 p.m.
15:44
So one day I got a, somebody shoots me a message, of course, which is like almost every day.
15:48
Hey, so I'm just got a thread.
15:50
I go on one of Tigrin and Gerst's videos.
15:54
A little weird, but he's cool.
15:56
37th comments deep in like an hour.
16:00
And I'm like, what is going on here?
16:02
And I, somebody just like commented and then commented again.
16:06
And I don't know where people start coming at me about my land and my property.
16:10
And like the fact that I want to build a house in this joker.
16:13
So it's commenting, coming from the guy who buys land and can't afford to build on it.
16:17
Sounds like you have your money going in all the right places, bud.
16:21
Criticism from other people, right?
16:25
We're growing their businesses.
16:26
We're re-investing into the companies.
16:27
We're re-investing into Brian Zalmanis.
16:29
I'm re-investing into our media company called Motivated Media, M.O.W.
16:34
Last year people go, how much did you make from your social media?
16:36
I don't know, but I'll tell you what I spent.
16:37
Last year I spent reinvested into my social media company $450,000.
16:44
What could that possibly be?
16:45
What is social media?
16:46
Anybody asked me, what is social media?
16:49
What are followers?
16:53
What did I spend $450,000 on?
16:57
People want to criticize me.
17:01
Not going to do it.
17:03
Not going to do it.
17:08
Six months ago, I broke ground on her home.
17:10
Million dollar plus property.
17:13
Three years later, it took me a little while.
17:14
I wasn't building some double-wide fucking trailer.
17:19
To be fair, we're in our arms.
17:23
You know things like this cost money.
17:25
Anything called COVID, where lumber is up and down a hundred grand every month.
17:28
I get my 1,500, my cord fee, 1,000 square foot of cord fee, whatever for wood.
17:33
And it's up and down like the stock market.
17:35
And I'm like, Jesus Christ.
17:38
I'm not building a double-wide trailer homey, relax.
17:41
Okay, this stuff takes money.
17:43
Also, because we like to do it right.
17:46
Because people think all this stuff, I'm like, you know what?
17:50
That land, 200 grand.
17:52
Not only paid it off, 20% down on that fucker.
17:57
This guy's talking trash.
17:59
And I put a half a million dollars down on my home, my property, and I pay off my land.
18:04
Go ahead, keep talking shit.
18:07
This is what I deal with.
18:09
I know you guys are dealing with the same stuff.
18:11
Maybe different levels.
18:12
Maybe different size home.
18:14
Maybe different conversations about your mower, your truck, your trailer.
18:17
But you guys go to Thanksgiving in two weeks.
18:20
And go to Uncle Johnny.
18:22
You know, they had four failing businesses.
18:24
But he's your know-it-all brother-a-law or uncle.
18:26
He's going to tell you, that little long-care business
18:28
making any money yet?
18:29
Well, not really, Johnny.
18:30
I got my third hire.
18:31
And I had actually a guy calling last week.
18:33
He was drinking whiskey like Sam's guy.
18:36
But I'm going to do something big.
18:39
I'm going to make it happen.
18:41
A little Uncle John.
18:43
He's got to say something.
18:45
He's got to say something, man.
18:46
I'm not building a double-wide trailer.
18:48
Man, take a couple minutes to get some of this money together.
18:51
Brian's all made his people criticize.
18:53
You're starting a YouTube channel long-care.
18:55
What are you talking about?
18:56
I'm like, I don't even know.
18:58
I get started for none of this.
19:00
Make a couple videos.
19:01
Feel like you're going to take your channel to 100,000 subscribers.
19:06
Because I'm going to find other fricking winners out there.
19:08
They want to do this thing as bad as I do.
19:10
And they want to win.
19:11
And they want to change their family's stars.
19:13
And people are like, you're crazy, man.
19:16
100,000 subscribers.
19:19

19:22
200,000 subscribers.
19:25
And in 2024, I'm going to take that thing to a million.
19:29
I had people give me flack about the one.
19:30
Both the land came for the house.
19:36
Now I'm going to buy the land and pay that off.
19:37
I'm going to build the house, put 20% down.
19:39
I'm going to put a hundred grand down into 200 grand barn.
19:41
I have that thing paid off by next summer, too.
19:44
But criticism of other people, man.
19:46
Criticism of other people.
19:49
This, I don't know.
19:50
I don't know if I can keep a straight face without balling.
19:54
Anybody ever heard this poem?
19:55
Anybody ever heard this slide?
19:56
Have seen this slide?
19:57
Have seen this quote.
20:00
The man in the arena.
20:02
Who's ever heard this?
20:03
Raise your hand if you've ever seen this or heard this.
20:05
And if not, see this into the back of your mind.
20:08
You guys might as if I read this to you really quick.
20:10
It is not the critic who counts.
20:12
Not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles
20:15
or the doer of deeds could have got more done than them better.
20:18
The credit belongs to the man who's actually in the arena,
20:20
whose face is more by dust and sweat and blood,
20:23
whose strides valiantly, who heirs,
20:25
who come short again and again,
20:27
because there is no effort without error or shortcoming.
20:30
But who does actually strive to do the deeds,
20:32
who knows great enthusiasm, the great devotions,
20:36
who spends himself worthy cause,
20:39
who at best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement.
20:43
And who at the worst, if he fails,
20:45
at least he fails while daring greatly,
20:47
so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls
20:51
that neither know victory, no defeat.
20:56
The critic, man, the critic.
20:58
The success will be remembered for the successors,
21:01
the failures, or we remember it for their failures.
21:05
But the vast majority, the middle,
21:08
they'll just be plain forgotten.
21:16
You know, it's one of those things
21:18
where I've been criticized so freaking much
21:23
and all it's done, Corey, is maybe better.
21:26
It's made me stronger.
21:28
It's built my resolve.
21:30
We've had fear, we've had doubt,
21:33
but we have to overcome that.
21:37
I want to say it's been easy.
21:42
I want to talk up here and be tough,
21:44
and say we had it figured out,
21:46
we knew, we believed,
21:47
and we were going to make it happen,
21:49
despite everything.
21:51
But I'd be lying to not say that,
21:53
it wasn't tough at times.
21:54
And there's times that we almost faltered.
21:57
There's times when we were giving up.
22:00
And we'll listen to it,
22:01
and we've heard somebody say once,
22:02
we both don't just give up on the same day.
22:04
That's the secret to making it.
22:05
You both don't just give up on the same day.
22:07
And for anybody who's ever heard that story,
22:10
and thinks that I make stuff up,
22:12
does anybody know what this is?
22:17
One day we're in our apartment,
22:20
700 square foot, a little halfway house.
22:23
We were excited at the time
22:24
because we could plug in our vacuum cleaner
22:27
and get the whole place like that.
22:29
We could go from a living room to bedroom.
22:34
This is like a good thing to us.
22:36
I think that's the size of course,
22:37
walking closet at his house.
22:41
But listen, we had a tough week's months.
22:44
I don't even know what it was.
22:45
We were just having a tough point in our relationship.
22:47
I don't even know what it was.
22:48
But what I do remember is that we had a pretty knockout drag out.
22:51
We decided, I remember,
22:53
we decided that we were personally going to get out of debt,
22:55
and then go ahead and reinvest everything into the business,
22:58
and get more debt to grow the business.
23:01
And I saw no way that we were ever going to be able
23:05
to have children, let alone a house, to raise them in.
23:08
We were stuck in my mind.
23:11
What did we have on our fridge?
23:12
Because we're big dreamers,
23:13
and we like to have visions in front of us.
23:14
What did we have on our fridge?
23:15
We had all of our dreams plastered on our refrigerator
23:18
because it was the one place in our house
23:20
that we went to regularly because we like to eat.
23:23
And when we go to the refrigerator or go in the kitchen,
23:25
we look at them and put them right in front of us.
23:28
We talk about dream boards and vision boards all the time
23:31
If you guys side note haven't done that yet,
23:33
please just get one and put it on your truck
23:37
You don't need to see how fast you're going anyway.
23:39
Somewhere you're going to look like regularly.
23:42
And what happened that night when we had a knockout drag out fight?
23:47
and I ripped all of our dreams off the refrigerator.
23:50
Things that have been up there for years,
23:52
we were in that apartment for seven years.
23:54
They were dusty and gritty,
23:55
and I not only took them off,
23:57
I tore them into pieces.
23:59
And I told Brian, I quit.
24:01
I can't do this anymore.
24:02
We have no money in the bank account where you're more in debt
24:05
than we've ever been.
24:06
We don't have any help.
24:09
The capital, the capital,
24:10
whatever the freaking word is,
24:13
There's nobody coming to save us.
24:15
And I can't do it anymore.
24:17
And I walked away, and I went to bed.
24:19
And the good old winner husband that I am,
24:21
which is probably most of your husbands as well.
24:25
She's crying, ballin, slam goes the door.
24:27
We're definitely those apartment neighbors, you know.
24:30
Everybody's lived next to him.
24:32
But I went back on my hands and knees,
24:34
and I picked up all these little scraps of paper,
24:37
crying my eyes out.
24:41
I have to become better.
24:43
I have to figure this out.
24:44
I am figuring this out.
24:45
We will figure this out.
24:48
I'm going to get it done.
24:50
See the evolution there?
24:53
I put all these back in a ziplock bag.
24:55
I came out the next morning,
24:56
and he had a magnetic chip clip hanging on the refrigerator.
25:01
So these are her dreams.
25:03
And she does the whole not talk about it thing, you know.
25:07
you want to talk about it last night?
25:08
This is why we run a marriage conference.
25:10
You want to talk about it?
25:12
As much as everybody else.
25:13
And you want to talk about it?
25:16
So we just pretend that didn't happen.
25:17
But here's what I just want to say.
25:19
I'm not giving you some big grandiose point.
25:21
What I just want to say is,
25:22
maybe laugh with you guys a little bit,
25:23
maybe cry with you guys a little bit.
25:24
But just let you know,
25:25
we're not a finished product by any stretch of the imagination.
25:27
I don't have a company like Atlas Outdoor.
25:29
They inspire the snot out of me.
25:31
I want to go to that level pretty soon here.
25:33
But I'll tell you what,
25:35
that criticism of yourself,
25:37
and the criticism of other people,
25:42
It's not doing anything for you.
25:44
And start fixing those thoughts in your mind with words.
25:49
Put everything that you're learning from this conference
25:51
into action on Monday.
25:53
And then on Tuesday.
25:54
And then on Wednesday.
25:55
And on Wednesday, when things don't go right,
25:57
and they don't go the way you thought,
25:59
I want you to remember that feeling
26:00
that you felt today,
26:01
with the same gamble making you laugh,
26:03
or a liberal it means making you feel invincible,
26:06
or a Jeff Chorner who's going to make you laugh
26:08
and just pull the best out of you.
26:10
Remember that feeling,
26:12
because it will flee.
26:16
you've charged up and fired up.
26:18
And so we see you at the next event.
26:20
Well, we can all see each other, talk about our growth,
26:22
talk about our success, talk about our gains,
26:24
and keep the conversation going.
26:30
they're playing for gotten.
26:32
Don't worry about them.
26:33
Everything that we've accomplished,
26:34
they've all been there every single step of the way.
26:36
You know what I'm just doing?
26:42
Okay, you guys can do it.
26:47
Oh, we got something else.
26:50
I am never able to surprise Brian.
26:52
So you guys helped me surprise him last night
26:55
by signing something pretty important to us.
26:59
Brian, I didn't know that you were going to include this
27:02
but I wanted to give you something.
27:05
we call it his corner office at our old department.
27:10
You could have the wind blow
27:12
and it was bringing in snow and stuff
27:15
where he's at his desk
27:16
and there's literally snow coming in through the window.
27:18
There's such a big draft there.
27:19
We call it his corner office.
27:20
He's never had a place to really work.
27:22
If you see a video that's been edited or something,
27:24
it was usually done on a laptop
27:26
or at 3 a.m. when the kids are sleeping at the kitchen table.
27:29
And he's finally going to have an office of his own
27:31
and I wanted to frame something
27:32
and do something special for him for our fifth year
27:34
of doing Entrepreneur Academy.
27:36
And I couldn't think of a better thing
27:39
because you really like this speech.
27:41
We didn't rehearse any of this.
27:42
We didn't rehearse.
27:43
I just rambling up here because I'm nervous.
27:46
But I thought I would have that framed
27:49
the man in the arena
27:51
as well as some art for your new office
27:53
because he's actually going to have an office.
27:55
And I just wanted to say a quick thank you
28:00
Our man in the arena.
28:02
I had everybody sign it last night.
28:04
If you haven't signed it,
28:05
I'll have him in the back of the room.
28:15
Are you sure everybody?
28:27
Where are you giving it to?
28:33
And I also thought you could use some artwork.
28:37
You're going to make me cry.
28:38
Thank you for being the man in the arena for our family.
28:43
I know it hasn't been easy and I think everybody in this room can attest to, you know, you
28:48
did a speech a few years ago who wins when you succeed and because you chose to be in
28:51
the arena facing the critic, our family is winning and I hope that people in here are winning
28:57
So this is my thank you.
29:08
Did you know about this?
29:16
Guys, that's all I got.
29:19
We're breakdancing.
29:20
It's delicious wild.
29:21
And we're going to be a camper for the next six months.
29:22
We're like traveling hobos, you know what I'm saying?
29:25
And once the house is done, hit me up.
29:26
I'll give you a tour.
29:29
Thanks for making this the best allele ever.
