小室 直樹（こむろ なおき、1932年9月9日 – 2010年9月4日）は、日本の社会学者、評論家。
教育や学問への洞察もいい。たとえば、「自分よりずっと悪い状況下でも、そんなことを気にも止めないで、平然として最善を尽くした人、その例が頭に浮かんだ人は助かる。どんな精神療法よりも効果がある。教育の目的は、そのような人の例を教えることではないか」なども納得感がある。有名無名に関わらず立派な人物を紹介することは教育の重要な役目である。
