Hi, I'm Danielle Robay, host of Bookmarked, the podcast by Reese's Book Club. And this week, we are talking about a monster. Or maybe the woman who refused to be one. I'm sitting down with Maggie Gyllenhaal to unpack her new film The Bride. And trust me, this isn't your grandmother's bride of Frankenstein. What I was more interested in was the monstrousness inside of each of us. You can spend your life running from those things. Or you can turn around and shake hands with them. Listen to Bookmarked, the Reese's Book Club podcast on the iHeart Radio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast. Come check this.

That is, um, Bruno Mars on KDWB. Who named the most sing alongable song? Me, Dave Ryan. But you named that one in particular. Yeah, name it. Huh? Yeah, name the song. That one is the, I just might. Oh, there you go. It is the most sing alongable song with the entire year so far. Yeah, and that one is from Bruno Mars. I'm sorry, I was looking out the way to see whether it was snowing. Yeah. Oh, isn't snow in there? I don't know. It might be. I can't really tell. It's snowed there and I'm in Colorado right now to take care of my sister. Um, but it's snowed overnight or it's still snowing where you guys are. No, there's supposed to maybe be a little light flurries, but yeah, it kind of snowed a tiny bit like in the evening and then a little, little, little more overnight. But there's not much. I think it's all going to be. Um, I say it'll all be melted by this afternoon, but we'll see. We'll see. And before we get into name that tune, can we go over these road road trips neck brackets? Yeah. Dave, you've been out. So you didn't know. I voted yesterday. We got brackets going.

Oh, I follow you guys when I'm not there. I actually voted on the road trip brackets. What's a, who's still left in the brackets now? Today, we're down to the top four. So it is peanut M&Ms versus checks mix. And as of right now, the votes are in favor of 57% or peanut M&Ms. Okay. And then guardados versus nerds gummy clusters. The same percentage. So it's a very, not very, but pretty close race. Guardados lead in the way against nerds gummy clusters. Why? I think everybody loves nerds gummy clusters, but they're not necessarily a road trip snack. I think that guardados is a road trip snack. Okay. You might not agree. Yeah. But I would also argue the same about the checks mix and somehow peanut M&Ms are leading the way. See, that's, that's bonkers to me. Why peanut M&Ms? You can eat those anytime, anywhere. You only eat checks mix when you're in a car. That's true. You don't just go to work and pull out checks mix out of your lunch box. No. Dave Bailey got upset because she, um, when we were putting this list together, she wanted there to be prepackaged hard boiled eggs.

Yeah. She did not put those in there, so she was kind of upset about that. Yeah. Yeah. The hard boiled eggs and the prepackaged, like, um, little slices of pickles. Yeah. Yeah. I, I, I, I get that. I don't think anybody besides you and maybe Mama Rhonda go, you know what? Sounds good. Mmm. Um, combos. No. Mmm. You want to get some mad Pringles? No. Hard boiled egg and a pouch. Yeah. That sounds good. Nobody besides you, Bailey. Delicious. But I, I was crazy when I didn't include it in the bracket. Yeah. Exactly. That would have gone straight to the end. Mm-hmm. We'll have a winter on Friday, Rhonda. Yeah. So you go vote right now on our, there's a poll on our story at Dave Ryan Show for the top four. And then tomorrow we'll come in with the top two, and then Friday the ultimate road tripped food. Someflower seed still in there? No, I think it left out, uh, around one. Yeah. They didn't get many votes. That's some fun. These lost to trail mix and then trail mix. trail mix. Yes. Trail mix. And then yesterday trail mix lost to the peanut M&Ms. Okay. I can't, I've lost faith in this bracket.

Okay. That's what I thought. Steve jerky. So real quick, I'll tell you what we started with. It was peanut M&M's versus a nature Valley granola bar. Peanut M&M's is going through trail mix versus sunflower seeds trail mix at one. Pringles versus slim gyms. Pringles had beat slim gyms, but then Pringles went up against checks, checks mix. And now that's where that's at. Checks mix versus sour patch kids. Now checks mixes lead in the way. This was really what surprised me. Flamin' Hot Cheetos versus a rice crispy treat, Dave. On day one, rice crispy treat one against Flamin' Hot Cheetos came up with rice crispy treat for a road trip snack. The masses. I disagree with that. I don't know that I've ever said, you know what sounds good? A rice crispy treat corn nuts. Sure. Pringles. Sure. Well, we didn't have corn nuts. Yeah, probably with no corn nuts, but there's no more guardedos versus combos and guardedos, beat out combos, twizzlers versus nerd gummy clusters and nerd gummy clusters taking that one. And then it was Oreos like the Oreo minis versus gummy worms or gummy bears and gummy bears and gummy worms is what beat Oreos? Oreos is, I'm sorry. Maybe it's just me. We don't have a lot

of time to get into it, but Oreos is not a road trip snack. I think a lot of things are questionable about being road trip snacks or not. I think the winner should be the final grand bracket should be jerky versus sunflower seeds. That's what I think. Well, everything else is not about that. I'm pretty good with nerds gummy clusters being as far as it's made. The masses think that a trail mix is better than sunflower seeds. I was surprised. No, no. All right. Let's get into name that tune on KDWB. Here we go. It's going to be now. I'm going to make it. It's a little bit more mature version. So Vaunt, you're going to sit this one out and cheer on your favorite of say it's going to be Jenny versus Bailey because some of these songs are a little bit older. Who are you going to cheer on Vaunt? Nobody. I don't have a favorite. All right. All right, kids. It's name that tune. But this time it's name that name. Yep. Each of these songs features a woman's name in the title. Will you be named the winner? Let's find out. Bailey, you go first. Okay.

Get in the way back machine and let's get out of here because that is not my baby. Remember, it has a woman's name in the title. Okay. I think I can name that tune in two seconds. Okay, Bailey. I said three. So name that two. Okay. Two seconds. Two. I love the way back. I love the way back machine. I feel like I'm more set for the way back machine than the current time machine. You do well in that category. Yeah. So that, my friend is Billy Jean. Good job, Bailey. Thank you. It is not my son. It's not my baby. Okay. Here we go. Jenny, you're up next. Okay. It would be so good. If you could name this tune, which you'll need the way back

machine for. Listen carefully to the clue. It would be so good. If you could name this tune, which you'll need the way back machine for. Okay. I feel pretty confident. Actually, this one. Yeah. So I'm gonna say I can name that tune in one second. I also said one second. Jenny name that tune. Yes. Get drunk at a bar in Wisconsin. You're going to hear everyone's screaming this one. It's sweet Caroline. All right, we're done with that. Okay. Move on, Bailey. Here's the clue on the next round of name that tune. I never wanted to see her sad. I promise. And by the way, I'm legit.

I never wanted to see her sad. I promise. And by the way, I'm legit, Bailey. Wait, did you say this is a way back one? Are they all way back ones? Not necessarily not. No, it's more of a current, but it is not a new song by the means. Okay. I'm gonna say I can name that tune in three seconds. And I said it in two. Jenny name that tune. I got scared for a second. Great clue. But I think, oh, okay, for a second, I was like, wait, that's not a woman's name. Yes, it is. It's Miss Jackson. Oh, outcasts, right? Correct. Oh, all right. Here we go, Bailey, or no, Jenny, you're guessing first on this one. Here's your clue. Hi, yeah, hi. So, yeah, I found your number. And I thought I'd get in the way back machine and call you at this number. Okay. Hi, yeah, so I found your number.

And I thought I'd get in the way back machine and call you at this number. All right. I'm gonna say I can name that tune in three seconds. Oh, okay, I said two seconds. Okay, Bailey, name that tune. Oh, my gosh, I feel like I know the song, but I don't know the title of it. The title is split, by the way, it's got a title and a subtitle. The subtitle is the girl's name. Oh, that I must know them. I will accept either the title or the subtitle. Is it? Oh gosh. Is it? Is this the one that's eight six seven five three oh nine? Yeah, it's a title. Jenny, you got it, Bailey. Good job. Yeah. Okay, the clue goes back to you. These are all women's names in the title. Okay. This legendary artist is a doll. And this song ain't so bad either.

Bailey. Okay, I can name that tune in two seconds. I also said two because I'm a little confused. Me too, but so Bailey, that tune. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. I also said two because I'm a little confused. Me too, but so Bailey, that tune. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. That is Jolene. Oh my gosh. Jolene. He talks about to any sleep and there's nothing I don't know. Good job, Bailey. Hey. Okay. Okay. Next one, this goes to Jenny. Two questions. What's it like to live in New York City? And can you name that tune? No, I'm sorry. Let me do it again. I missed for two questions. What's it like in New York City?

And can you name that tune? Yes. Bailey? No, I think I get to go first. Jenny. Jenny. I think you made that pretty easy by the second round. So I'm going to second name that tune in one second. Dang it. I also said one. So Jenny, name that tune. Yep, that would be something Bailey and I grew up on. Yeah. It's the wonderful song called Hey There Delilah. Yes. A lot of these songs I didn't know until I moved here. Wow. I told you guys about the the the story that somebody's saying that to me over the phone once after I moved Florida. It was really awkward. Yeah. Yeah. It's history now. No, it's just guy that I was seeing right before I moved to Florida. I think it was just kind of like my last hero before I left because he was not great. And then I moved and he called me at one point. He's like, I've prepared a song for you. And I felt like Barbie in the Barbie movie listening to Ken play the guitar to me. And then he's saying the entirety of Hey There Delilah. And then he got on a bus to come and visit me in Florida. Wrote a bus all the way down and I'd like him by that point.

So anyway, let's start out with this one goes to Bailey first. Here we go. Okay. Sorry, it's not you. I'm after it's your mother. Sorry, it's not you. I'm after it's your mother. Okay. It took me a second, but I got it. I can say I can name that tune in all one second. Okay, Bailey. I said too. So name that tune. Steezy's mom has got it going on. Okay, here comes the hardest song I believe in the entire category. Oh, come on, because I need this to tie. These are all women's names. Now let's see how you do because it might stump Bailey also. Thankfully, we don't hear this brainless song anymore featuring an artist telling us how humble she is. Thankfully, we don't often hear this brainless song anymore featuring the artist

telling us how humble she is. Okay. There's part of me that feels like I actually might know because of the clue. Oh, so I know. But half the time, I don't know your clue. So I'm going to say I can name that tune in one song. That tune. Oh, I know it. Oh, you do. I do. Oh, heck, because I, I personally like this artist and I've seen her in concert before and she's very good in concert. And this is my song, you guys. Jenny from the block. Who's the winner? We tied. Okay, you guys get to debate and decide which of the songs you want to hear. Billie Jean, sweet Caroline, Miss Jackson, 8675309, Jenny, Jo Lene, hey, they're Delilah,

Steezy's mom or Jenny from the block. I have two that I like best, Jenny. Yeah, I will go, Jenny from the block or hey, they're Delilah. Okay, then hey, they're Delilah. Okay, we'll have to do when we come back. We'll do it next on KDWB. The day Brian show on KDWB. Oh, speaking of doggies, I have to wish my dog, Bernie had a third birthday. He turned three years old yesterday and daddy wasn't here. Daddy was out of town. Take him ahead. Oh, no, you missed your son's birthday. He stood at the front porch looking for me all day. How dare you, Dad? Yeah, I know. Bernie. No, I actually recorded that from him. Oh, you did. Okay. Yeah, I just played that off my phone. We did name that tune a second ago. And they were all women's names in the title. And you guys decided all the songs that we could play you went with. Hey, they're Delilah. Wonderful. Plain White T's won hit wonders. Just to say they had one of the other ones. Nobody remembers. On KDWB. On KDWB, Plain White T's from 2007 or so.

We have somebody in the phone here. Jenny, what's the caller's name? Yeah, my name is Kristen. Kristen with a problem that's going to make you laugh and shake your head at the same time. But this is kind of a real thing. Kristen, tell me what happened with this guy that you were flirting with. So I went to a bar and started flirting with this new guy. And he basically called me a shovel nose like your face. So we were really hitting it off like and I went great. And then I went to the bathroom and then I overheard him. And he's like, yeah, I like her, but she has a shovel nose. I don't even know what that means. I heard people saying like, you got a big nose, but I'm yeah, because Jenny's got the beak. I'm telling. So what? So what? What? What is what is that? I would assume it's like your nose is like very defined to be long, right? It comes down the middle of your face. And then I guess your nostrils are just the

what the blade part of the shovel. Like what? Very hard to find just coming down your face. I'm sorry that you have a big nose. Yeah, I mean, so I do have a big nose. They used to call me the beak in middle school. Yeah, I'm used to it, you know, and I ignored it that night. Like we've changed numbers, but now I'm like, should I be offended? Pretend I never heard it. Should I say something to him? Okay, let me ask you a question. Let me be honest with me. Let's say that you met a guy and he went to the bat and you're really hitting it off and you're really flirting and he went to the bathroom and then you told your friend is like, yeah, he's really sweet. I really like him, but he's a shrimp because he was five foot four or five foot five. Would you say something like that to your friend? Are you asking me? Yeah. No, I wouldn't. You wouldn't call this guy a shrimp. See, I think of your friend. I don't know. I don't I'd say give him another

chance. I mean, that is a mean thing to say for sure, but I don't know. I'm not a woman. I don't know, but see, I would let that roll off my back. Nah, because I'm looking at it as in what if I got, you know, I got I ran into an old bully of mine from high school at the bar and we had a really great conversation. I'm just going to remember that mean thing that they said to me that one time. True. So I feel like being called a shovel knows, especially like it's behind your back and you weren't meant to hear it. Like, oh, man. I said, how dies one time. Yeah. Basset how nice. Basset how nice. Yes. That's sexy eyes. And I know they weren't they look like a basset how I think it was the ears that made it worse. But she, but I think a friend of hers or somebody said, yeah, your girlfriend's nice, but she's got basset how nice. And I think I was like, yeah, she does have basset how nice. Not not in a good way. I don't know. Let me ask people listening. What do you think? Keep your radio on. Chris and I know you're busy. I know you get stuff going on. We kept you on hold for a long time, but stay there for a second. And I will have

people call her text and to tell us whether that's a deal breaker, but you like the guy you flirted. You exchange phone numbers, right? Yeah, I do like him. I just don't know if this is something that I can just like let go. Like, you know, like, is it a deal? I don't know. No, no, think about this. Another 40 years, you'll be telling your grandkids that story's like, yeah, you know, I like to grandma a lot when I met her, but I shot. She had a shovel nose and everybody will laugh and they'll be like, yeah, she does have a shovel nose. No. No. Okay. All right, Kristen, keep your radio on and we'll have some tips for you coming up next. Okay. Okay. All right. Thank you. We'll be right back. Let me know KWB. Everyone needs to take care of their mental health, even running back the Asian Robinson. When I'm on the field and feeling the pressure, I usually just take a deep breath. When I was breathing and seeing what's in front of me, everything just slows down. It just makes it go great before I run the play. Just like Bijan, we all need a strong mental game on and off the field. Make a game plan for

your mental health at loveyourmindplaybook.org. Love your mind. Brought to you by the Huntsman Mental Health Foundation, the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, and the ad console. We're talking to a woman named Chris DeWyla ago. She said she met a guy at a bar and they were hitting it off on a great time and everything's going great. She leaves go to the bathroom, they're flirting, whatever. She comes back and she overhears the guy tell his friend, yeah, she's really great. I like her a lot. She's got a shovel nose. Of course, the first thing we wondered is what is a shovel nose and then want for some reason feels like she has an accurate description of the nose. Yeah, I think it's just when your nose is very defined and it's long down your face and then your nostrils are just as wide or as big as what the blade part of the shovel. Do you know somebody with a shovel nose? No, maybe like not personally, but I'm sure I've seen a celebrity that I could be like, yeah, that's a shovel nose. I get a shovel nose. Yeah, like a Brody Aiden Brody. Adrian Brody. That's got a he's got a shovel nose. He does. Okay. Yeah. So she's like, you know, I admit I have a big nose. I was called the beak in middle school. Okay. And she's like, but I like this guy. We exchange phone numbers.

Should I write it off? It's just kind of a dumb comment. Maybe he's kind of a funny guy. Or should I be like, no, this is a bad thing. So looking at text messages, here's one that says at KDWB1, I think you should bring it up in the next date. See how he responds in a crisis. Maybe he's just kind of a joke cracking sort of a guy. Another one. I'd be thinking about how he hates my nose every time he looks at me. Right. Power to if you do move past it, but I couldn't at least not without asking him about it. Yeah. Exactly. Like, oh, I'd be like, this guy hates my nose. And also, if he's a funny, haha, crack a joke sort of guy. Why is he cracking a joke at my expense? Why is he insulting me? We do that because that's what we do. Yeah. But I can't change my nose. Yeah. I was going to, I mean, you could. It's not like, if I was a grid, it's not an easy thing. I'm just saying it is fixable. But will we feel some type of way if it was something that really could not be fixed? Like, what if it was just like, yeah, when she farts, it stinks. You know, I can't control that. Yeah, you can't control your, I feel like you can't just say, oh, you can get your nose fixed. That's, I mean, if you have money and, you know, recovery time,

you can take time off where you can't just get your nose fixed. Okay. Then an easier example. Would you feel some type of way if it was like her apartment's dirty because that's easy to fix? You could just clean it. Yeah. Would you feel worse about it if it was something you could fix or know? No, if it's something I could fix, I'd just be like, oh, crap. I guess he noticed my dirty apartment. First is like, I say my nose. I say give the guy a second chance. You know, if he liked her and she was flirty and he obviously likes her, he even said his friend, yeah, I like her. So I think that you try to, you know, move past it and maybe bring it up and say, you know, I overheard and see what he says and kind of watch for red flags to see whether he's got a mean streak in him. But, you know, I mean, guys that you like and flirt with are fun, they're kind of hard to find. So I say, given another chance, what do you guys think? Yeah, I think we can sit and say like, you know, we wouldn't say something like that about someone, but like, I know that there was someone I dated where I was like, he's really good-looking, but he kind of looks like he has a lazy eye in some of his photos. And so it took me a while to

get past that and realize he didn't have a lazy eye. But how do you overheard me saying that? I would have been such a jerk. Really hurtful. I had a girlfriend tell me straight up, one time she said, you've got midget legs. I'm like, really? First of all, that's not politically correct. We're called little people. And then I was like, yeah, I do have like shorter legs than my rest of my body. So I don't have knees. I was born without knees. That's really weird. You notice the way he walks. He kind of just like wobbles through like a penguin. It's like the hop up onto a chair. What would you do? Would you let it go? I think if she does approach him, then I would I would pray that he's like, oh, yes, all right. I mean it. And then he goes to make fun of himself because then yes, it shows he's a jokester and that even though he's making a joke at you, he can make a joke at his own expense. And then hopefully happily ever after. Very good. Thank you. Any weird comments or any any weird situations? Let us know because we love hearing about that stuff. Let's get into you. Can't make this stuff up on KDWB 101.3 KDWB.

Brought you by the Leo agency. Do you guys hear that there is a big foot problem in Ohio? No. Yeah, it turns out this is it. This is a real story. I'm not making this up. Apparently there have been big foot sightings in Ohio. A town called Mantua, Ohio, between Cleveland and Akron. Several hikers have reported spotting a nine foot tall brown haired Sasquatch that smelled like cat pee. The hikers posted on Facebook that they said, keep your eyes open in your doors locked because there could be a big foot in the vicinity. That was not the only sighting. A total of four concern four occurred last Friday and Saturday. One said they fled because you don't want to stick around a nine foot eight pecs predator hikers on Saturday heard the heavy footsteps of what they described as an eight foot creature with long arms. It looked right at him. Another said that he looked like he was 10 foot tall. This one glared at them. There's a guy named Jeremiah.

Host the big foot society podcast and said it's normal for there to be big foot sightings all over the United States, but it's not normal to have multiple sightings in a small area within a short number of days. I want to listen to that podcast. I always think about what I would do if I encountered something. I just saw a video. It was a guy in his it was a baby in a stroller walking a pier or something and then an alligator popped up or a crocodile and started going after and he grabbed his baby so quick and I was like, good instincts on him, but I was like, I don't know that I'd react the same because what do you do if you see a big foot or a crocodile or something or a bear wrong picture. Yes, because if you don't, it didn't happen. I just run. If I have any kind of fear, I mean, I was walking down the road the other day or the street and some guy yelled at me and he got up off the ground and it looked like he was going to follow me and I was holding my laptop and I almost whacked him with it and just started to run. She did tell me she was prepared with her weapon. I was my weapon, my my 13. I don't know. Well, he let hits. I don't know. It's a weird story. He like dropped a soda and I jumped out of the way and he said, you made me drop my soda and I was

like, huh? And then he got up off the ground to run after me and I said, get away from me. And then I almost hit him with my laptop and then I just ran. If you really run after you, because you exaggerate in every. No, he got up off the ground. He got he jumped to his left. David, he left to his feet and then took a couple steps toward me to get me. He was going to get me, Dave. And then I said, get away from me. And then I went to hit him with my laptop. Oh, I wish. And then he backed off and he goes, whoa. And then I started running. What I would do to be sitting in traffic watching this happen on the side of the road. I don't think there are any cars around. Anyway, that was real life. If that was a big foot, though, I would probably act differently. Bailey saw a guy look at her and wanted to whack him with a laptop. Yeah, he looked at me sideways and I like it. Yeah. All right. We'll do the dirt coming up in a second on KDWB. A mug shot that you will never see. Who is the celebrity with a mug shot that you will never see? We'll tell you about that coming up on Dave's dirt next on KDWB. Is made up by Dave. It's Dave's dirt on KDWB.

A little bit gossipy that Ventura County Sheriff's Office told TMZ that the mug shot of Britney Spears will not be made public. Her rest doesn't meet the certain criteria. I guess they only release mug shots for violent crimes or when the person is considered a threat to the public. So, you know, if your average Joe or average Jill is shoplifting and gets busted, they don't release the mug shot. Okay. DUI doesn't really, doesn't usually rise to that level. She was arrested after driving erratically at a high rate of speed. Her BAC was 0.06. Now, I don't know what the legal limit is in California, but I believe it's 0.08 here in Minnesota. So she was below the legal limit. But still, you know, I think they can judge you to be impaired even if you're not at the legal limit. But I'm not sure. They were also talking the other day. We were talking about how apparently what she goes to Mexico quite a bit and she goes there to get Adderall. So they were saying that like she might have had like Adderall in her system too. I don't know. I think Adderall and alcohol are a bad combination. Oh, yeah. Somebody who was taking Adderall and I think they,

you know, chased it with some wine or something like that. They decided, oh, I'm going to get the car and go down and get a pizza. So they drove about a quarter mile from their house to get a pizza, missed a turn on the way home, hit a light pole. And is the combination of alcohol and Adderall. Yeah, they got a DUI. So, yeah, be careful. We're going to talk about some really wealthy people that none of us are going to be able to grasp this concept of wealth. But according to this list from Forbes magazine, these are the 10 wealthiest celebrities. So number one comes in with Steven Spielberg. He makes, he's a, I don't know, 7.1 billion. It says he's worth. George Lucas is number two with 5.2 billion. Michael Jordan is number three, 4.3 billion. That's kind of because of his Jordan lines. Yeah. I was going to say, I don't know who this is. Maybe you guys do Vincent McMahon. He was the head of the WWE. Okay. He had 3.6 billion. That's kind of, I don't follow WWE, but that's the only Vince McMahon that I know of. Yeah. Oprah Winfrey comes in at number five, Jay Z, number six Taylor Swift, number seven Kim Kardashian, number eight Peter Jackson,

number nine and number 10 is Magic Johnson. Oh, didn't see that one coming either. No. Why would magic be on that list, Dave? I'm investments. I don't know. Wow. And then obviously we have our billionaires that aren't celebrities. Elon Musk. This is crazy. The wealthiest celebrity, Steven Spielberg, 7.1 billion. Elon Musk, 839 billion dollars. Why? Why? Larry Page comes in at number two at 257 billion. Surgey Brynn, Google co-founder, also 237 billion. Jeff Bezos, 224 billion and Mark Zuckerberg, 222 billion. So those billionaires blow all the, the celeb billionaires out of the wall. Yeah. I didn't realize how close Elon Musk is to be a trillion. I just saw that Dr. Drey made the Forbes billionaire. He just became a billionaire, like made the list yesterday or something that like that came out. Wow. All right. The Oscars are just four days away. And the betting markets have flipped in terms of 2026 best actor Oscar. Okay. Yes. So Michael B. Jordan has now overtaken

Timoté Chalamet in predictions for best actor. It comes down to a bunch of factors because Michael B. Jordan won the SAG actor award. And overall public presence of both performers. Some people are saying, hey, maybe Timoté Chalamet, Ripon Ballet and Opera is a part of it. But did that play a role? I don't know because it's almost like too soon before the Oscars. But Michael B. Jordan right now is there's the betting market, I guess, is saying that he's between 49 and 68% possible to win for sinners. And Timoté Chalamet is only between 18 and 42% to win. Is it for Marty? For Marty Supreme. Yeah. God, Dave, didn't you say you saw that or no? I saw Marty Supreme and I thought it was not good. Yeah. And then you saw sinners though too, right? I like sinners a lot. Yeah. That was good. It had a very, like, very interesting twist about halfway through. And it was like, well, we didn't see that coming. And it turned from one genre of a movie to another. Yeah.

Marty Supreme to me was like, it was a ping pong movie. But it wasn't. And at very remember right, there was nothing that you liked about the main character. And it's like, I don't know whether to cheer. I don't want to cheer for this guy because he's not a likable kind of a care. I didn't like Marty Supreme, but you know, I'm wrong. I started watching the show on Netflix as if it gets in the top 10 called Blue Therapy. And it's literally a couple couples therapy session. It's eight different couples. And you sit the therapy session. You go through like them explaining and the therapist kind of diagnosing them. It's a little strange and off. And I don't think everything needs to be a TV series. But it is interesting to see that these are real life couples. Yeah. I think that's interesting that it's real life. Yeah. And you can tell because like they talk about their families, they talk about, you know, the things that the first episode is this couple who they broke up. But then she found out he was probably, he found out she was pregnant. And then he was like, I feel like she didn't get rid of it because she wanted me back. But it's very strange. But it's the therapist is good. She knows what she's talking about. It's called Blue Therapy. I'm jealous. Okay. There's a song that if you listen to it, it will manifest

wealth in your life. It is a song from way back in the day. And I'm going to play it for you in a second. But they say that the TikTok, they're saying people are playing and dancing to this song because it has an abundance frequency. Okay. Whatever that is. Thanks, TikTok. They claim the song can help attract wealth, luck and success. Well, then again, so can hard work and showing up on time. But you know, people want to play the song and take the easy way up. But one person claims they started dancing to the song every day. And opportunities came flooding in. I closed deals that came out of the woodwork if nothing else do that. So I danced to this song every day. Another person said it took only hours for them to receive good news about their job. So just play the song in the morning. You have nothing else to lose. An empowerment coach says the song has upbeat energy. There's not really a notable frequency in the song. Just how there's a specific frequencies in meditation song. So here's the song that you should listen to every morning

because it has an abundance frequency. Check it out. I wasn't it. Okay. Here it is. That's an interesting choice. It is an interesting choice. A neat award from 1979. It's called Ring My Bell. Get a new life on TikTok. And if it's on TikTok, it's got to be true. We're going to be playing it here on KDWB any minute now. Now streaming on Netflix. Well, actually, it's not streaming quite yet. Don't want to get ahead of myself tonight. Love is by reunion comes out. It's the best part of any season. So just a heads up. Usually the drop of episodes comes out at midnight on the Wednesday. But this does not come out unfortunately until 8 p.m. tonight on Netflix. So you got to wait a little bit for this one. One of my favorite things about the love is blind reunion is that the entire cast has now rewatched everything that has already been released

on Netflix. And so they'll show up like glowed up. They'll be like, wow, is that what my makeup looks like? Oh, wow. Is that what my hair looks like? I am going to change it and look even better walking in. So that's my favorite part. And it's also always really juicy. AI actress Tillie Norwood has released her very first single in music video. It's called Take the Lead. Well, the music video features her flying through the clouds on a blown up flamingo. And in it, she talks about AI not being the enemy. It's the key. It sounds like AI to me. Personally, I don't understand why we need Tillie Norwood. I thought it sounded like something you'd sing at church. Yes, it definitely was giving church choir. Yeah, church. So yeah, the Tillie versus what they're going to call it now, her entire celebrity of singing and

acting. We use this a novelty. I wonder if like that will die. I hope because it's it's like AI. We don't do anything. We're guaranteed human. Everything you hear on KWB except that is guaranteed human. But when it's not, of course, we'll tell you that it is that it's not, right? But it's just kind of a novelty. It's like some radio companies allow like AI DJs. And it's like, I guess if you didn't know, like in the morning, I will listen to the news on my Alexa. I'll say Alexa, read me the news. And they'll start reading the news in this alternating mail and then female voice. And it's totally AI. And you know, it's AI. But there's not that comfort of a real human voice. Right. But some AI is so realistic that you just don't know. So, but here on I heart radio, we're guaranteed human. You want to know what my mom said the other day I was talking around the phone. And she said that like she listens to KWB like all day long now because she likes that human connection that radio gives, whether it's us in the morning or Fallon colds in the

afternoon, she just like likes that instead of just listening to music. And I feel like that's why so many people like still have listening to our morning show because it's like we are connected. I think that's true. I think that's one thing we all crave is like companionship and connection. And you can't connect to an AI voice, but you can connect to somebody like Vaughn. You'd be like, oh, yeah, Vaughn, I like him or like, oh, yeah, cold. I like that guy. And I think that's one of the things about that's what I've always loved about radio. I couldn't define it when I was a kid growing up. Why I love listening to the radio. But it was like you put your radio on and there's a guy or a woman that's, you know, 20 miles away that is seeing the same weather that goes to the same stores, drives in the same traffic, hikes in the same parks, that type of thing. And that's, you know, it's and there they are. Yeah. And they're right there. They're your companion. All right, we'll be back in a second. I'm going to play a little clip for you first. This is a kid singing, but they became enormously famous later. I'm going to play a clip of the kid singing

that became enormously famous later. See if you can guess who this is. Here's a little preview. There's always going to be another mountain. I'm always going to want to make it blue. Always going to be an uphill battle. Sometimes I have to lose. In a fair and best I keep there. And that was waiting on the other side. Wow, they actually sing very well. Really well. Yeah. Who is that though? It is a big name. One of the biggest names in music right now. Can you guess who it is? I'll tell you coming up next on KDWB. This is Chelsea handler from Dear Chelsea. After the big game, like most people, I kept thinking about the commercials and there was one that stayed with me. It was from the Blue Square Alliance against hate and it wasn't loud or flashy. It showed a Jewish kid being targeted at school and another student who chose not to ignore it. As someone who is Jewish, that moment felt very real to me. Not dramatic, just familiar.

And what struck me was how clearly it showed that hate doesn't always announce itself. But the impact is still huge. If you saw the Blue Square spot during the big game, it's worth thinking about. And if you want to show support, sharing the Blue Square is one small way to do that. And the full lineup is nuts. We got the Gripson Age podcast, Beyond Take Howe, and Big Ice Cup Cat. We got Club 5, 20 with Jeff Teague in the gang. Yeah, yeah. Don't call me white girl. Mona will be there. Keep it positive, sweetie, with crypto or nay. We got reality with the King with Carlos King. And yes, drink champs will be in the building. Plus you know, we're going to have a lot of guests. So you need to join us. Then she says, have you seen a photo of my son? And I'm like, who is this person? Welcome to the Boys and Girls podcast. A ranged marriage is basically a reality show. And you're auditioning for your soulmate. And who's judging? Only your entire family. I sacrificed myself to this ancient tradition, hoping to find love the right way. And instead, I found chaos, comedy, and a lot of cringe. Listen to Boys and Girls on the iHot Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast. Hi, I'm Danielle Robay, host of Bookmarked, the podcast by Reese's Book Club. And this week, we are talking about a monster or maybe the woman who refused to be one. I'm sitting down with Maggie Gyllenhaal to unpack her new film The Bride. And trust me, this isn't your grandmother's bride of Frankenstein. What I was more interested in was the monstrousness inside of each of us. You can spend your life running from those things, or you can turn around and shake hands with them.
