宮本 常一（みやもと つねいち、1907年8月1日 – 1981年1月30日）は、日本の民俗学者、農村指導者、社会教育家。
宮本常一は日本を探検した人である。人々の生活誌を書いた。代表作『忘れられた日本人』を宮本は「紙碑」と言っている。石碑ではなく、紙というメディアに書いた碑である。確かに石碑に書かれた内容は時間が経つと風化し読めなくなるが、紙碑に記した内容は永遠に残る。本を書くという仕事は、紙の碑を残すという業なのだ。宮本常一の志の高さをみる思いがする。
