Marposs Group is an Italian headquartered global supplier of testing solutions for a wide range of industries. They acquired specialist electric motor test equipment business EDC in July 2020.

Marposs EDC is a developer of motor testing solutions covering the full range of functional tests required for a typical electric motor assembly including end of line testing, dynamometers and stator test. Their motor stator partial discharge testing technology was of particular interest, this offers the ability to test a much greater range of properties and defect detection far beyond conventional hi-pot or surge testing equipment.
