ジョン・デイヴィソン・ロックフェラー・シニア（John Davison Rockefeller, Sr、1839年7月8日 – 1937年5月23日）は、アメリカ合衆国の実業家、慈善家。スタンダード・オイル創業者。
ジョン・ロックフェラーの31才からの27年間の事業家としての成功に目を奪われるが、それは金銭の奴隷としての活動だった。実は58才での引退後のフィランソロピー活動の方がはるかに長く、意味があった。それは金銭を奴隷にして新しい道を切り開いた日々だったのだ。ロックフェラーの97年の大いなる生涯、特に後半を眺めると、以下の言葉に深く納得する。ロックフェラーは「幸せ」を求め、それを手にした人だったのである。
