山川 健次郎（やまかわ けんじろう、安政元年閏7月17日(1854年9月9日） – 昭和6年(1931年）6月26日）は明治時代から昭和初期にかけての日本の物理学者、教育者。男爵、日本初の理学博士。
山川健次郎の冒頭の言葉は、深い専門と広い知識を持つこと、そのために日々精進することが人物たることの条件であることを述べているように思う。つまり、「教養と修養」である。
