勇なるかな、勇なるかな、勇にあらずして何をもっておこなわんや
細井 平洲（ほそい へいしゅう、享保13年6月28日（1728年8月3日） – 享和元年6月29日（1801年8月8日））は、江戸時代の儒学者。
平洲記念館の名誉館長は作家の童門冬二（1927年生）だったので驚いた。ビデオで童門は「平洲は鷹山にあなたは山の上の一本松だ。風当たりが強い。しかしあなたは幹である。幹がひっくり返ると枝もだめになると『勇』を説いた」と語っていた。改革にあたるリーダーに必要なのは風を受けて一人で立つ勇気である。
