After a skiing accident that nearly took his life and left with him with extensive injuries,  Grant found himself bankrupt and homeless. It was during his recovery that he discovered the cruise industry and found a new beginning. He went on to give a TEDx talk about his experiences and the transition he made, showcasing his ability to overcome adversity and find success.
