Levitin is a cognitive psychologist, neuroscientist, musician, and the author of multiple NYT best-selling books, including This is your Brain on Music, A Field Guide to Lies, and Successful Aging. Levitin has published more than 300 articles, in journals including Science, Nature, PNAS, The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and The Wall Street Journal.  His TED talk How To Be Calm When You Know You’ll Be Stressed is one of the most viewed ever, at over 20 million views.
