5 Charged in Gravesend Rape Case

0:00On April 25th, a 33-year-old man from Woolwich and three teenagers faced charges after a teenage girl was raped in Graveson Kent. He's one of five males charged in the case, including a 46-year-old from the same area accused of aiding the attack. All were charged last Friday, April 24th. The incident happened at a private property between March 25th and April 19th. Kempleys got the report on Tuesday, April 21st, and moved fast to make arrests. Two men and three boys, aged 15 to 16, got picked up over the next couple days. No word yet on public reactions, but these cases always hit hard in local communities, especially with young victims involved. They all showed up at Medway Magistrates Court yesterday. The two men are in custody, two boys in youth detention, and the third released to local authority care. Next court dates May 22nd at Woolwich Crown Court, where we'll see how this unfolds.
