在原 業平（ありわら の なりひら、825年（天長2年）- 880年7月9日（元慶4年5月28日））は、平安時代初期の貴族・歌人。
人は、いつかは死ぬということを知っている。しかし昨日や今日とは思わない。1000年以上の前も、そして今もそれは変わらない。人の死を詠んだ歌の中でも秀逸の名歌である。
