フランシスコ・デ・ザビエル（スペイン語: Francisco de Xavier または Francisco de Jasso y Azpilicueta, 1506年頃4月7日 – 1552年12月3日）は、スペインのナバラ王国生まれのカトリック教会の司祭、宣教師。イエズス会の創設メンバーの1人。
冒頭に掲げたザビエルの言葉は、教えを受ける者は多いが、教えを施す者はあまりにも少ないことを指摘したものだ。教えを受ける、勉強するだけでなく、教えを施す側になろう。そのためには精進が必要だ。
