善人なおもて往生をとぐ、いわんや悪人をや
親鸞（しんらん、承安3年4月1日 – 弘長2年11月28日）は、鎌倉時代前半から中期にかけての日本の僧。浄土真宗の宗祖とされる。
親鸞の「善人なおもて往生をとぐ、いわんや悪人をや」という悪人正機説の悪人とは、庶民、つまり小人と考えればよくわかるように思う。君子はもちろん浄土に行ける。そして小人も仏によって救われる。小人を救えない仏教などに意味はないという絶対平等の思想である。キリスト教に近い。浄土の真実の心を意味する浄土真宗は、国家鎮護の仏教から庶民を救う仏教への一大宗教革命であった。
