3985 Wear Your Smile

About this episode

Life isn't a constant stream of roses and rainbows. More often, it's weeds choking the garden and storms darkening the sky. But from those weeds and storms come blooms and skies painted with the kind of beauty you cannot fake or force. It's no wonder it's hard to wear your smile.

Maybe you're struggling to smile today? I get it. Sometimes smiling feels like a mask, like pretending everything's okay when inside you're falling apart.

But wearing a smile isn't about life handing you perfect cards. It's about choosing kindness,  toward others and toward yourself, even when you feel broken or invisible.

A smile is you saying, "I'm more than my current pain." You get to extend a piece of your heart, no matter how cracked it feels. Because your situation — no matter how heavy, difficult, or lonely — is not your identity. You are not your struggle.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Wear your smile!

There's a time and place for everything in life, and your smile is needed in every one of those moments. It's a quiet act of rebellion against despair. It shows you refuse to be defined by hardship. It offers others a glimpse of hope when their own skies are stormy.

So wear your smile, not because life is easy, but because your kindness matters. Because even when your heart aches and your path is uncertain, you have the power to bring light,  starting with that simple curve of your lips. This isn't about pretending; it's about showing up as fully you, in all your messy, brave, beautiful glory.

Wear Your Smile
by Kristianne Wargo

Wear your smile like armor,
not for the world's applause,
but for the battles hidden—
the quiet fights no one saw.

A smile isn't sunshine lighting
every shadow in your day,
it's a choice to keep on shining
when light feels far away.

Wear your smile for the weary,
for hearts worn thin and torn,
a gentle bridge between the cracks,
where hope is quietly born.

It's not a mask of pretense,
but courage bent and true,
a gift you give the broken parts—
a promise made by you.

So wear your smile as defiance,
against the stormy mile,
because even in the darkness,
there's power in your smile.

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

0:00Episode 3985, where you're smile. Moms, it's time to rediscover, rejuvenate, and renew who you are in mind, body, and spirit. Welcome to Create Your Now, Your Best Selfie, the show that help you do just that. Here's your host, Certified Life Coach, personal trainer, and nutritionist, Christian Warno. Happy day, I hope you're ready for, well, Friday, Jr. Yes, it is. It's inspiration motivation day, and that means there's a little extra hope in the air because the weekend is around the corner and so is a brand new month. So if you're thinking, oh, you got this, where, your smile. For those of you who are brand new to Create Your Now, welcome to this incredible family. I'm so delighted of your presence. If you already have the opportunity, you want to head on over to CreatureNow.com, where you could learn more and sign up for the Kisses newsletter. They keep it simple strategy, everyday solutions, to live, love, and impact. Well, bear with me because I think I have a little bit of a cold, partly because let's see,

1:03we're freezing and we're hot, we're freezing and we're hot, and when I say hot, it's like in the upper sixties. But then we drop down to like in the twenties, ridiculous. My body is like, I don't know what to do with you. So if you hear me siffling a little bit, I apologize. Just work with me because you know what? We sometimes just have to wear a smile regardless of what is happening in our life. And so today, I don't know what you have planned on your calendar. I don't know what the weekend is holding for you. But you know, life isn't a constant stream of roses and rainbows. I know we're coming off of Valentine's Day, well, by like two weeks. But more often, our life is filled with weeds choking the garden and storms darkening the sky. We literally just had the skies open up last night with a little bit of thunder actually. And I was kind of like, really? But it's from those weeds and those storms that the blooms come, the skies are painted with the kind of beauty you cannot fake or force.

2:08It's no wonder it's hard to wear your smile. And maybe you're struggling to smile today. I get it. Life happens. It's a rollercoaster. You have to make decisions. You don't always get what you think you deserve. Sometimes you get the lemons and not the lemonade. And even if you get the lemonade, maybe it needs an extra little bit of sugar. Sometimes smiling, though, also feels like a mask, like pretending everything's okay when inside you're fallen apart. But wearing a smile isn't about life handing you perfect cards. It's not about having everything that you want all the time. It's about choosing kindness towards others and yourself, even when you feel broken or invisible. Feeling unseen or unheard is a real deal, isn't it? We're so disconnected in a supposedly connected world with social media. Anybody and everybody can connect with you from around the globe,

3:10which is really kind of cool, but sometimes more disheartening than we want to admit to. But you see today, I want you to know that when you wear a smile, that smile is saying, I'm more than my current pain. I have purpose today. And that's when you get to extend a piece of your heart, no matter how cracked it feels. No matter how many pieces it is in. Because your situation, no matter how heavy or difficult or lonely, it's not your identity. You are not your struggle. So wear your smile. Now, there is a time and a place for everything in life. And your smile is needed in every one of those moments. It's a quiet act of rebellion against despair. It shows you refuse to be defined by hardship. It offers others a glimpse of hope when their own skies are really stormy.

4:11So wear your smile. Not because life is easy, but because your kindness matters. Because even when your heart aches and your path is uncertain, you have the power to bring light, starting with that simple curve of your lips. See, I see it right now. Smile. Wear your smile. This isn't about pretending. It's about showing up as fully you and all your messy, brave, beautiful glory. Wear your smile. Wear your smile like armor, not for the world's applause, but for the battles hidden, the quiet fights no one saw. The smile isn't sunshine lighting every shadow in your day. It's a choice to keep on shining when light fills far away. Wear your smile for the weary, for hearts worn thin and torn, a gentle bridge between the cracks where hope is quietly born. It's not a mask of pretence, but courage bent and true,

5:14a gift you give the broken parts a promise made by you. So wear your smile as defiant against the stormy mile. Because even in the darkness, there's power in your smile. Go and peace, my friend, be present, be incredible, be you. I love you so very much. I cannot wait to see you on the other side. Blessing hugs and lots and lots of love. We'll talk to you real soon. Have a glorious blessed Friday, Jr. We'll talk to you soon.
