1:02You know, too much of our lives are spent running our own race, scaling mountains, running up and down them all around them, crossing rugged terrains we've never faced before, chasing after answers and strength as if we must do it all alone. Why is that something that we so know all too well? We push ourselves to find solutions to prove our worth, to reach the other side on our own terms. But what if you were to seek the Lord? What if the breakthrough isn't found in our striving or in the distant horizon? What if the source of hope, the source of peace, is much closer than we realize? As a 55 verse 6 says, seek the Lord while he may be found, call on him while he is near. This isn't just some random statement. Some quote that just ends up on Instagram somewhere with some flashing music or whatever,

2:05and you're like, oh, it's a life giving truth for your now, right now. It doesn't matter what's happening, no matter the storm's raging in your heart. Maybe you have doubts of like, ah, there's just no way I'm going down that road. Understood. Fears tightening their grip, what's going to happen? I don't know if I make this decision and go this route, what's going to happen? Maybe that shame with spring, you're not good enough, you'll never amount to anything. You're a loser. And all of that, God is not far off. He is near, ready, waiting, drawing close to those who reach out with the willing heart. Are you willing? Are you open? Maybe you feel stuck on the side of a mountain, shattered by past mistakes, or even your present struggles.

3:07Maybe the climb is too steep, and the way forward isn't clear, you have no idea where you're going. You're like, where's a compass? Mind's broken. Seek the Lord. Call on Him. God's nearness means you don't have to carry that burden alone. You're not doing life alone. Call to Him. Seek Him. It's not about having all the answers or perfect faith. We are all far from that. I am far, far from that. I fall far from that. And I am far from that. However you want to develop the double F's there, right? We all fail. So why do we keep trying? Why do we keep striving in a manner that isn't going to get us closer to Him, except seeking Him? It's about taking that first step toward Him. Even if it's just a whisper, a quiet hope, or a shaky prayer. Maybe it's one word. Jesus.

4:08Lord. God's presence brings more than comfort. It brings strength to keep going. Freedom from fear and fresh courage to face another day. There are times I know you roll over and you're like, the snooze button can't happen enough. It's just got to keep hitting snooze. And really, if I just stay in this bed and I have a groundhog day moment for the next, I don't know to infinity and beyond. Hey, I'm okay with that. We have those moments. That's called real life. But guess what? God's there every single time you press snooze and you don't have to be fearful of what's on the other side of the snooze button. Because He brings more than comfort. God meets you in your brokenness and He lifts you up with unwavering love, unconditional love. When you seek the Lord, you open the door to grace

5:09that changes the story you thought you were stuck in. That chapter that you can't at run, the stuff that keeps happening. It's a whirlwind that's howling louder than we can even handle it. It's like we're in this tunnel that won't go away. You're stuck, but you're not. So my friends stop running the race alone. Stop wrestling with doubts that make you want to hide. I get it, that's your reality. But it's not the end. It's not the period to your story. And you might be in a season that you just kind of feel like that. And it doesn't mean that it's every single moment of your life, not 24-7. But even for 10 minutes, it can be exhausting. It can be debilitating to the point where you don't know what to do next. You are indecisive.

6:10Your confidence is like six feet under. Your self-esteem is deteriorating. Your life just ultimately kind of feels like, well, you're destroyed. So why try? Snues, groundhog moment. Let's do this another day. Stop wrestling with doubts that make you want to hide. God's invitation stands strong. He loves you. So seek him. Call on him. You're closer to him than you think. And that nearness is the hope and help you need to create your now. Every single moment you get to choose. But I want to remind you today, and if this is the only thing you get, know this. God's got you always. Go on peace. Be present. Be incredible. Be you. I love you so very much.
