Good morning Ecclesia. Welcome to day 75 of 365 daily devotions are journey through the Bible. It's good to see you here 75 days in. Congratulations you've made it but we have a long way to go don't we? Today we're going to talk about Joseph in prison and we think about it the story started he was in a pit he was sold he ended up in the palace and now he's found himself back in prison. The scriptures were looking at Genesis 39 21 let me read it for you I'm going to read from the New King James Version but you can read from whichever version you like. It says but the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy hallelujah what a good thing that is and he gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. He was shown mercy even in prison because the Lord was with him no matter what we're going through we can have the same outcome can't we? God is with us even in the trials we must remember that even in the trials especially
in the trials God is with us and he's favor sustains us in those darkest moments but sometimes we forget don't we sometimes as believers we're not all that smart we forget about the simple things forget about the simple parts about Christianity but he's always with us let's pray Father help us trust in your faithfulness even when the circumstances seem impossible help us trust Lord that you have the right path for us as in Jesus name that we pray amen Amen he's a good God isn't he and if we want to be good Christians we need to be diligent with our Bible study time because our God is so much more for us that we can get from just going to church once or twice a week or hearing someone else talk about the word when we spend time with God our life can change in amazing ways because our God is a Redeemer and there's nothing
that's too hard for him and if we allow him he can make his whole spirit soul and body but we have to allow him we have to follow what he wants us to do and let him do it and Jesus coming back soon and we need to be telling people about him we don't need to be crazy don't need to be doing anything ridiculous but we need to be sharing the gospel the great commission is really simple go forth and make disciples of all nations baptizing the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching him everything I've taught you that's a commandment and that's a commandment we should all be following I'll encourage you today get out there and share the gospel with someone and so tomorrow stay in the blessings
