Good morning Ecclesia, welcome to day 74 of 365 daily devotions adjourned through the Bible. Today we're going to look at Joseph resisting temptation. How do we go with that? Do we resist? What do we give in? You don't need to answer that out loud. But it's something we should be considering. The script you're going to look at is Genesis 39-9. So how then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God? Every time we're given a choice where we have an option to be tempted, that should be our question. How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God? What a great question that we need to be able to answer. And God empowers us to resist temptation. You know that? We're always given a choice. We can't say that we were made to do something.

We have a choice. Integrity honors Him. An integrity protects us from sin. We can't be blaming anyone else for our poor choices. But too often, that's exactly what we do, isn't it? We blame others for the choices that we make ourselves. There's what you don't know for all of this little bridge here as I go across. Let's pray. Lord, give us strength to resist temptation. Give us strength, Lord, to remain faithful to you as that temptation comes for us. Lord, strengthen us in everything we do. And it's in Jesus' name that we pray. Amen. Amen. Let's be diligent with our Bible study time. Let's know what the Bible says. So when the devil comes and the temptation is there, we can resist it.

Let's not give in. Let's be strong. And let's show that we have the integrity to stand up for the Lord and stand with the Lord in everything we do. He's coming back soon. There's no doubt about that. And it's up to us to be sharing the gospel with others. Let's not rely on the pastors or someone else to do it for us. Let's do it ourselves. And until tomorrow, stay in the blessings.
