365 Daily Devotions Day 71: Joseph’s Dreams

About this episode

Day 71: Joseph’s Dreams

Scripture (Genesis 37:5-6 NKJV):

“Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more. He said to them, ‘Please hear this dream which I have dreamed.’”

Reflection: God plants dreams in our hearts. Even when misunderstood, He will fulfil them in His timing.

Prayer: Father, help me trust Your dreams for my life and walk in obedience to Your vision.

Amen

Until next time

Good morning, Ecclesia. Welcome to day 71 of 365 daily devotions adjourning through the Bible. You can see here in Matsyama the sun's out now we're in spring that we're the standard warm-up. We've seen her three cold days and then four warm to things are good. The Lord is shining upon us. Today we can talk about Joseph's dreams. The scripture I want to look at is Genesis 37 verses 5 and 6. Let me read it for you. Says Joseph had a dream and he told it to his brothers and they hated him even more. Can anyone you know acclimatized to that? Does anyone relate to that? He said to them, please hear this dream which I have dreamed. He's pleading with them to listen because there was a promise in some mornings there, wasn't there? For those of you that are prophetic you

know this feeling and God plans dreams in our hearts even when misunderstood he will fulfill them in his timing. Now I think we need to remember here it's in his timing, not ours. Many of us want to do it now. We get impatient. We want God to do it all for us right away but it's his timing. We need to remember that let's pray. Father help us trust your dreams. Help us trust your dreams from our lives and help us walk in obedience to your vision not ours. I think Jesus name that we pray and all the believers said amen amen again as I say every day be diligent with your Bible study time. Don't let anything else get in the way. Jesus is coming back soon so we need to know what the Bible says. We

need to be sharing the gospel with others at every opportunity because we're running out of time. If you think you're gonna offend someone by sharing the gospel and they're gonna be upset with you don't worry about it. They're gonna be more offended when they go to hell because you didn't share the gospel with them. To get out there and do it today and until tomorrow stay in the blessings.
