Scripture (Genesis 30:22-24 NKJV):
“Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb. She conceived and bore a son and said, ‘God has taken away my reproach.’ And she called his name Joseph, saying, ‘The Lord shall add to me another son.’”
Reflection: God blesses in His timing. He turns longing into joy and fulfilment.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for answering prayers and for Your perfect timing in all things.

Good morning Ecclesia, welcome to the day 64 of 365 daily devotions that journey through the Bible. Now some of you may not be aware that you can also get these devotions in Apple Books. So why don't you go in there and have a search through them. That way you can read it as well as just listening to me. In the day 64 we're going to talk about Jacob's children. Let me read some scripture for you, a little bit extra scripture today. It's going to be Genesis 30, 22 through the 24. So as then God remembered Rachel and God listened to her and opened her womb. She conceived and bore a son and said, God has taken away my reproach. And she called his name Joseph saying, the Lord shall add to me another son. The Lord has taken away our reproach, all of us. God blesses in His timing.
I see way too many Christians out there that are all, you know, have been waiting on God for 20 years, 20 minutes, whatever it might be. But we don't actually really wait. We get a bit impatient and we try and do it all ourselves. We're going to stop doing that. He blesses in His timing and He turns longing into joy and fulfillment when we can show that we are patient. Lord, thank You. Let's pray. Lord, thank You. Thank You, Lord, for answering prayers in Your perfect timing and in Your perfect will. For Your timing in all things is perfect. Not in some things, Lord, but all things. So we thank You. Lord, give us patience to be able to wait and let us work Lord while we wait.
It's in Jesus' name that we pray. Amen. Let's be diligent with our Bible study time church. Let's be diligent, waiting on the Lord and listening for what He's doing because our God is a Redeemer. He's redeemed you and me. And He wants to redeem the entire world because He can make His whole spirit, soul and body if we allow Him to. The big challenge we've got as humans is, are we willing to be patient and committed and allow Him to do that? I want to encourage you. Get out there. Why are you being diligent with studying the word, get out there and share the gospel with everyone you see because Jesus is coming back. Look at what's happening in the world right now. If you're not sure, look around you. The world is not getting better. It's actually getting worse. So let's get out there and share the gospel.
Let's see what God's about to do. Let's see. His name we always pray and until tomorrow, stay in the blessings.
