Good morning, Ecclesia. Welcome to day 109 of 365 daily devotions that journey through the Bible. 109 days. Well done. Well done. And today we're going to talk about the plagues begin, but let me show you this before we go any further. Can anyone guess what season it is here in Japan? Look at that. It's a curious season. Praise the Lord. It's warming up. The scripture we're going to look at today is Exodus 7, 17. And to one of those verses it starts with Thus says the Lord. You ready? You ready for it? Thus says the Lord, by this you shall know that I am the Lord. Behold, I will strike the water that is in the river with the rod that is in my hand and it shall be turned to blood. We are going to see God do some miraculous things. There's going to
be some signs and wonders that are going to let the world know that he is real. And he demonstrates his authority of the creation by doing this. His power brings deliverance to those that he loves. Just think about that for a minute. He has power over creation and authority over creation that power brings deliverance for those that he loves. Let us pray together. Lord, help us acknowledge your authority and trust in your mighty hand. Let us remember, Lord, that you are sovereign. It's not about us. It never was. It was always about you. Lord, my prayers come quickly. Show the world the power and authority as the one and only creator. It's in Jesus' name that we pray. Amen. Amen. Let's be diligent with our Bible study time.
We are in the last days. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. And God is so much more for us than just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the word. Well, we're still, for those of you that don't even go to church, you go to these fringed, wealthy ministries that are just creating bright, shiny things to attract you and distract you. Get out of that. Get into a Bible-believing church, a Bible-teaching church, and also be studying the word for yourself, because our God's a Redeemer. He's got so much more for us than you could even imagine. And we need to be sharing the gospel. We need to be sharing with those around us because he's coming back soon. And you know what? You might be worried about offending your friends and family by introducing them to the Lord, but they can be more offended with you when they get a hell. So do it today. Share the gospel with somebody. And until tomorrow, stay in the blessings.
