In this message we look at why Jesus refused the vinegar wine at first on the cross.
We know that moments before he said, "It is finished" that he took the wine.
So why did he refuse it at first?
As we know that this drink was laced or had drugs mixed in it.
To help with pain relief and quicken death.
Jesus refused it because he had to suffer for our sins.
No easy way out or shortcuts for him.
He needed to accept it all with a clear mind.
