2:01I bet Tammy already knows this We'll see We'll see Okay, so today we're going to go to Jay County, Indiana All right It's going to be early morning of January 12, 2020 So that was like right before The whole world went dark for COVID Oh yeah Because that was like March or something, wasn't it? Yeah, so everybody was still able to socialize Right before COVID Right before COVID Yeah, so the police get an I'm in one call Saying, it's a woman's voice, she's saying We drove up on a man lying on a bridge We don't really know if he's actually hurt Or if he's on drugs Or what's going on He's just laying out on the bridge And we're staying in our car I think they got out But it was a woman and I believe her husband So I think she felt like And where this was Was kind of in the middle of nowhere And so it took the police a little bit of time to get out there

3:05They did say they saw a little bit of blood on the bridge But nothing like They would be like, oh my god, he's This is a huge attack Yes So the police arrive and they get there And they start digging in this man's pockets They pull his driver's license out His name is Shay Breyer Is he alive at this point? Breathing just unconscious He's conscious Oh But he's not able to It's almost like something's wrong with his brain Because he's not really able to talk Or answer the questions He's moaning, but that's about it Okay, so he's not dead though He's not dead They start asking him questions He can't answer anything This man was, whatever happened to him He was left out there There was no car, no phone, no Anything else As to how he got on this bridge What happened? Nothing Zero clues Zero clue, he just was literally left for dead

4:06Okay And it was almost like there was a town here And then you go And it's It's like the devolved bridge I mean, it's not like a huge Long stretch of the bridge And then there's like a town over here So there's a good bit of space Whoever or whatever dropped him off on there They knew Ain't nobody coming out here for a while Right And early morning was about One Twelve One o'clock in the morning Oh, so the sun's not even there? No, start So it's middle of the night Yes Early morning Yes Okay I guess one o'clock Because that would still be early morning Yeah Yeah, absolutely early morning So I'm going to tell you a little bit about Shea Breyer Shea was born March 19, 1988 He was born in I can't know I tried to listen to how to say it a couple of times It's M-U-N-C-I-E But I could not I can't form my mouth to make that work Got it So in Indiana

5:06But he was raised in a single parent household His mom Tracy And him They later moved to Hawaii Oh, wow And that's where she met her husband Which would be Shea's stepfather, Robert And then younger sister Sydney comes along Is Shea the man laying on the bridge? Yes Or the man that found him laying on the bridge? Shea is the one that's laying on the bridge Okay, gotcha They dug through his pockets This is his license I gotcha I gotcha After graduating from Pacific High School in 2006 He served in the U.S. Navy from 2006 to 2012 My story today has a Navy person Does it? How about that? After leaving the Navy He returned to Indiana And he was working as a heavy equipment operator He also did odd jobs And he was very involved in the community From what I understand His grandparents were from there

6:07Okay, his grandparents still lived there Sounds like he's a good guy Yes, well-rounded, active in the church, active in the community Just a good kid, he was 31 Of course, after moving back He is wanting to get married And put down roots and have kids and all that stuff However, four Shea things kind of went a little bit backwards Versus the traditional date Get married, have kids In 2018, he finds out From a woman named Esther, Jane Stevens They called her E.J., so I'll refer to E.J. a couple of times She called him and told him that he was going to be a father So it sounds like maybe they hooked up From what I've gathered They weren't really in a quote unquote relationship No And if there was a relationship, none of it was public Nobody knew that they were together or anything like that E.J. was a softball coach at the local high school

7:11But as far as everything that I looked at I don't even know how they met I don't have an answer That's okay So she tells them you're going to be a dad They end up having their daughter I'm going to just say A Because that's how she was referred to in the court documents All right In January 2019 Well, let's call her Anna Anna, I don't talk about her very often So that's fine, we can call her Anna So she was born January 2019 And after their daughter was born They started actually publicly dating Well, okay And then they got engaged shortly after Okay So from all of his family And the conversations that they had on the documentary that I watched Is they didn't really feel like they were Lovey-dovey or like really were into each other

8:12More so that this was like we had a baby So we need to get engaged We need to do the right thing Yeah Whatever, okay Which sometimes that turns into love, you never know So A baby's not a reason to get married No No, but if they dated Dated and then got it It would be different if she's like They're not even dating and he's proposing that at the bedside Right She's about to push the baby out Yeah, we need to hurry up and do this So the family just kind of felt like it was forced But all of that tracks Literally weeks before their wedding, EJ called the wedding off She's like, I'm not gonna do this Are you feeling it? Yeah So Shay was extremely disappointed And around this time Shay started attending This, it's a Methodist church In their town or city

9:12Okay He started getting really involved with With the active fathers in that church He didn't have a dad growing up His biological dad just wasn't there And so he didn't want to be inconsistent in his daughter's life So he found men in the church That he could learn really how to be a good dad Yeah, that's good And I'm assuming even though EJ broke it off She was still okay with him seeing and all that stuff My next sentence Okay So he was doing that and trying to get guidance However, EJ wanted nothing to do with that EJ was doing everything she could to keep him from building a relationship with their daughter That's terrible It's awful Shay asked to see his daughter on numerous occasions She was told no She just was making excuse after excuses So why it wouldn't work that day or we have this and we have that So there was never a good time for her

10:13For him to be able to be involved with his daughter I don't like EJ already Ah, yeah So eventually, he got a lawyer And what EJ told Shay was If you go through with this, you're going to be sorry So in November 2019, he filed for paternity testing Because he was not on the worst of you Oh my gosh So you know, you got to go through that whole record Yes So why did she not put him on the roof? I don't I don't even know if he was in the room It was a rhetorical question really That just sucks It's fucked Yeah Um So he did that to try and establish some sort of custody agreement Now And now this is going to take us back to actually the day So we're jumping back to the day where they found him on the bridge Okay Uh, Shay was rushed to the hospital With unknown injuries Because again, they don't know what the hell happened in this case You can't tell them

11:13Right When he arrived, he was taken into surgery Where they found the source Uh, at this point Once they found they found the source It was too late And Shay was pronounced dead On the operating table So what was... Gunshot wound in the back Oh my gosh They didn't see that Well, it was dark It was dark and he wasn't... I don't know if he was in a position where he wasn't bleeding that much When they show some of the pictures from the crime scene It's not a lot of blood Yeah It's... I mean, as if you... Spit blood is about how much blood it was It really wasn't enough for them to know anything Wow Yeah, shot in the back So, uh... I mean, dude, this is 2020, like... I wonder how people even think they're going to get away with crimes these days You know what I mean? Yeah This person really thought they were fixing to get away with it I'm sure they did or they wouldn't have done it Big time Yes, tell me

12:13So, people are trying to... You know, they're... He was meant to be at the church that morning Uh-huh To help set up for church Like, he just was a good guy who was just involved and people were waiting on him And they're like, what? Where the hell is he? Yes So, friends and family started calling around to see like, what's going on? They knew he wasn't a fighter, he wouldn't have been intoxicated Like, there's all these things that they just knew couldn't have happened So, they weren't calling the jails and stuff like that Right Um... Shay's mother was notified Later that day So, this is after he's already passed and everything she finds out Either from her mother or her sister When these three women were talking, they all look like... I don't know who was he I don't know Um... Now less than 24 hours after Shay was found on that bridge You know, who they're contacting EJ

13:13EJ They bring her in for questioning So... Did she... Did you see like an interrogation? Yeah Okay, all right, go ahead So, they bring her in... Can you hear me? I feel like when I'm talking down here, you can't hear me Okay, so, they bring her in for questioning And they notify her that Shay is dead And she just is like... Okay Yeah No emotion Not shocked Not at all Not surprised Not upset Not upset Not upset Not upset Not upset Not upset Not upset Not upset Not upset Not upset Not upset Not upset Not upset Not upset They're like a little bit, like... Right And he's dead And you're just like... Okay, whatever Um... They question her about where she was That night And when was the last time she spoke to Shay She tells them

14:13It was about a week ago When she spoke with him last And at that point the police already knew That wasn't true They were asking her questions They already knew the answer to Yep. So come to find out, EJ was the last person to call Shay's phone at 12.02 a.m. Oh, uh-uh. Yeah. Within hours of him being fracked. So what the police did is they decided not to confront her about that. And they wanted to kind of keep that in their pocket. They didn't want to show their cards. And they, the detective basically said, here's my card. If you find anything or hear anything that might help the investigation, let me know. Perfect. And off she goes. And off she goes. So now that very next day, the police get a phone call from someone who felt they needed to come forward about what they knew. Who was that? Christy cyber. Okay. She has known EJ for years. She used to

15:14umpire the softball games that EJ used to play in. And her kids went to daycare with EJ's daughter. Mm-hmm. So she's known her since she was good for they high. Were they good friends or she's just known her? I think they were close in the sense of like a mentor or like a mother figure type situation. So Christy was she was a little bit older than EJ. Okay. Yeah. Um. Um. Christine. I'm just repeating what I said. Yes. Um, when she found out about Shea's murder, she kind of started freaking out. And the reason why is she got a call from EJ a few days ago. Mm-hmm. Asking her to babysit her daughter. Oh my gosh. That weekend. And I'm going to kill someone. Can you watch? Can you watch Hannah? So I've got shit to do. Right. And that's kind of how it came across. All right. She was like, so what'd you do? And she's like, oh, I don't know. We're

16:15just gonna go into Ulta. Go out and hang out with her. Yeah. Hitting Ulta without my daughter. The softball coach at the school. Right. So this was something that she never asked her to watch her kid. It wasn't like a normal, hey, I'm running the sorority. Like this was like, okay, what are you doing? And that's strange to that. Why didn't she ask a family member or her BFF or something? She just was like, did Christy say, yeah, I'll watch her. She did. Um, so the day goes on. Like, it's the day that Christy's supposed to be watching the daughter. And of course, she told her in the evening. So the day goes on and she hadn't really heard anything from her. And she was wondering, like, was she coming? Like, what's the deal? Uh, I'm sitting here waiting. Yeah. And Christy said that EJ didn't show up till about 10, 10, 30 for a babysitter. She goes out late. I girl, why are you bringing your baby up to somebody's house at 10, 30? What the hell? She goes out late.

17:16I can't get these. I know. And at this time, she's 29. So yeah, I mean, to me, that's past the club and yes, you're not leaving the house till 10 o'clock. Yeah. If it's 10 o'clock and somebody sent me up, I'm like, right now, or you talking about like 10 tomorrow, because we ain't doing that tonight. We ain't going anywhere. Yeah. If I'm already out, cool. But I'm not going out at 10, 30. So again, she asked her where she was going and what she responded with was, we're just going out. So EJ didn't return that night until 120, 130 in the morning to come pick up Anna. That's so weird. Very weird. Why not just let your child sleep there till the morning. If you're going to drop her off late like that, she better be in her pajamas and write it for bed, because I'm going to bed. Yeah. And she's going to go to bed. Okay. I'm in the morning. So she picks her up. She picks her up about 120 in the morning. I have to stay on my hand on here,

18:18because my eyes go crossed. I'm so sorry. No problem. Okay. So Chrissy woke up and she met her at the door and it was almost like EJ was coming in to kind of like sneak in grab her daughter and dip. So she didn't have to say, hey, this is what we did or whatever. So she met her at the door and she was like, what were you doing? She's like, um, you know, we were just out. She's like, no, seriously, like, what were you doing? Wow. Like blunt. Wow. And she's like, I can't tell you, but I'm sure that you'll hear about it in the paper in the morning. Oh my god. EJs don't don't. So Chrissy said that in the months leading up to the murder that EJ would come over a lot. And every time she would come over, she had her friend Shelby with her. Shelby's name, it's Shelby Houston. She was a former student at the high school that EJ

19:19was a softball coach. Oh, that's crazy. They're in love. Yeah. So she's 18 at the time. It's all fair and legal. Yes. Um, after Shelby graduated high school, she became EJ's assistant coach. Oh, okay. And began coaching at another school nearby. And sometimes she would work at the day care when EJ would work at the day care. Hmm. I think that the day care was very like community based. And everybody kind of took a shift. It wasn't like a four more type of thing. It was was connected to the church. So I think it was whoever's available, come watch these kids kind of gotcha. Um, and EJ being 29 and Shelby is 18 at the time. Everybody kind of felt like it was a little something more, but they maintained down to the floor that they were just friends. Um, detectives had heard Shelby's name before because she's family, they were concerned that

20:23Shelby may have had something to do with it. Well, and Shelby couldn't watch the baby. I'll be sure she was out throughout with EJ. Right. So Shelby was always around and Shelby was constantly jealous of any contact that EJ and Shay would have had. That would like immediately get her pissed off. Uh, Christie continues to tell detectives that the two of them started coming by more and more often after Shay filed those court documents for the paternity. Some of their conversations they had were like, well, how can we get rid of them? I wish you were dead. In front of Christie in front of Christie. Now what Christie said was sometimes people say she's like, yeah, that's true. And then she's talking around and, you know,

21:24I didn't go to the police. Yeah. They were just, you know, whatever. Bullshit. Yeah. Funny thing is, well, stupid thing. Again, here's another stupid factor for EJ. Yeah. Christie's a formal police officer. Oh my gosh. So she's reading people. Yeah. She's getting old. She's gone mentored. Yeah. She didn't also. So, uh, after they had those conversations with Christie, they then started having conversations that were more like, how would we do it? We would use a hammer or we would do this or we would do that. And that's when Christie started to be like, all right, bitches. Like, uh, this is getting a little too deep for me. Never thinking that EJ were actually doing something. Yeah. And Christie even asked, like, EJ, do you feel like you could shoot a gun or shoot somebody? And Shelby interjects and says,

22:25I could. Uh oh. Okay. I got my girls back. Yeah. I got that. Um, after that conversation, she knew without question that this was something that needed to be told and the detectives immediately went and picked EJ up. Okay. They're like, I bitch. Good. You're coming back. Glad you called it in. Yes. Um, so January 14th, which is two days later, they had EJ come back in for questioning. And the first thing that they asked her was about the phone calls again. When was the last time you talked to him? Did she keep her story? She just subscribed. Oh. And then they said, well, you know what? We'll show you. Yeah. You were the last one. Actually, that is jog your memory. Yeah. You were the last one. And then knew she lied about it. She said, well, I mean, I didn't call him. I just butted out him. And so they pressed her knowing that that also wasn't true. That you just butted out this man. Right. Uh, she was like, well,

23:30yeah, I mean, I guess we talked for a little bit. It wasn't long. Okay. So it wasn't a butt dial. Yeah. You're already back trapped. Yeah. She said that she insisted that they did not see Shea that night. Absolutely not. No involvement with him. Never saw him. Just talked to him for a few minutes. And it was conversation about the baby. So in the other room, they had brought in Shelby. And they're questioning her. And as soon as they told EJ that they were questioning Shelby, her whole mood, tone changes to, okay, well, let me tell y'all what really. Oh, so this is the account of the night explained by EJ. All right. That's your her version. She says that she went and dropped her daughter off at Christie's house. And Shelby was in the car waiting for her. She said that they went to the daycare slash church to move furniture around for the church for church the next morning. They also had another friend 18 year old Hannah.

24:35Just say that Hannah. Okay. Uh, she met them there. This was another one of her former students for softball. She also worked as a daycare from time to time. Yeah. So she met them at the church. And this was like 11 o'clock 11 p.m. That Hannah. Yeah. That's ridiculous. Yeah. Hannah never never driven past a church at 11 p.m. and saw a car there. Cause what are you doing? Yes. You ain't moving around daycare furniture. Right. Stop it. Right. So Hannah had taken her parents van to go meet them. After they were done moving the furniture, they began the conversations again about how they're going to get rid of Shay and what how they would do it. It was like a whole hate fest for Shay. Girls do that sometimes. They couldn't help themselves. Right. Um, EJ said that she felt like it was all joking, a joking conversation. Yeah. And didn't think that anything would ever happen for real.

25:40But earlier that day, EJ told detectives that she went and picked up Shelby's rifle from her house. EJ went and picked up Shelby's rifle from Shelby's house. Yeah. Wow. Cause Shelby liked to hunt. Um, and while they were at the daycare that night, Shelby pulled the gun out and fired it. Inside the daycare. No, outside the fog. The fog. She said that she just wanted to see how loud it was. Well, Shelby is also a bad bitch that likes to hunt and place off ball and shoot. Yeah. I could kill him. So after they saw how loud it was, they all got into Hannah's parents van and started driving around. During that time, EJ called Shay and asked if he wanted to come for a ride with them.

26:40Fuck no, I don't want to come to a fucking ride. Let me see Mike. Where's my kid? Fuck y'all. Yeah. So he says, yes, they go pick him up and they head towards this bridge. So they were driving to the middle of nowhere. And he's going willingly because he's not. He's not really like these houses ain't going to do shit to me. Yeah. Um, when they got to the bridge, EJ and Shay got out to have a private conversation. Next thing she knew. Uh, she just, she stopped. She wasn't crying. She just stopped talking and the detectives like, dude, we're, we're fucking right here. Yeah. Like spit it out. Yeah. Get to the point. You're right there. Just finished the story. He says, did Shelby shoot him? And she in this little soft voice is like, yes. Yes, I, yeah, she did. She told detectives that she didn't really think Shelby would do it.

27:43They all joked about it. And she didn't think that things would actually end up this way. Detectives believe that she had every intent to kill Shay. And that she planned this out completely. That being Shelby or EJ. EJ. Okay. And she just got Shelby. We don't even know at this point because this is EJ side of the story. All right. Um, they also knew where he was left. She knew, like I said earlier, nobody's coming up and down that area. They asked about his cell phone because the cell phone was nowhere to be found. Uh, she says that she threw it into the lake, which, okay, fine. But it was, it was so intentional that she said that they had already left. And it clicked in her brain. And they turned around. Oh my gosh. And she went and grabbed his phone. She and threw it into his nose. Like he's lying there conscious, but dying. And the way that

28:47she's telling the story is just like blunt monotone. Yes. Like we went back in, uh, I took his phone because I was scared he was going to call 911. So I threw it in the creek. Yeah. Wow. They were like, Oh, well, okay. Uh, she laid out there for about an hour before somebody came out. Thank goodness. Those people know, well, he didn't survive. But right. But he also didn't get eaten up by something. Yeah. Because who knows what's out there. Right. Um, now Shelby was in the next room giving a similar story. But she admitted that she was the one that pulled the trigger. Oh, she did. I figured you would say, EJ, nope, pulled the trigger. Their stories were either, either it was all the truth or it tracked completely. Okay. If it wasn't the truth, why would they tell a story like that? Yeah. So, uh, Shelby said that she didn't think it would happen. But all of a sudden, she just blacked out and it happened. And what about Hannah? Hannah is in the car. The cops didn't bring her in. I'll get to that. Okay. At this time,

29:53no. Right. At this time, it was just those two. Um, later on, Hannah had gone back to college in Iowa. And they went and questioned her. She told her of her involvement. And she just was like, I don't know this guy. I don't even, I can't even tell you what his name was. I didn't know that this was for real what their plan was. And they're like, well, why did you bolt? Why did you use your parents' van? And to me, she tells the police, it would look suspicious if we used EJs. So when she said that, so she knew, my personal thought was she knew what she absolutely knew. She was, but she was the only one out of all three women that gave some sort of remorse or sadness or anything. So she, I think she knew what was going on, but I don't think she was part of the original plan. I think that it was thought about and they just called her and said,

30:58this is what we're doing. Bring your parents. Yeah. So, uh, she said that they did talk about shooting him, but she didn't think that they would actually do it. She said that she was too scared to tell them no. Well, I mean, I agree. I can feel that. Let's go out in the church, parking line, shoot the gun off. Yeah, I'm going along for the ride at that point. You're not going to shoot me doing everything I can to stay alive. And that's kind of how I felt like she was being. So this is her pictures. Okay. Other way, there you go. And can you tell me who those people are? The middle is EJ. Middle is EJ. This side is Shelby. Shelby. And the other side is Hannah. Hannah. Are those like mug shots? 32:03So even though they all three confessed involvement, they went to court and all played not guilty. So in March, 2021, EJ was the first one to go to trial. All right. The prosecution presented to this story was really cut and dry. And so the rest of this is like how the court cases go, because obviously we know what's what they told us the whole story. Right. So March, 2021, it's a little bit over a year later, prosecution presented to the jury that even if even though she didn't pull the trigger, she was the one behind the murder, she was the one who put this plane in motion. And she wanted him out of her life. Yes. She had the motive. While EJ is being tried, Christie is, remember Christie, she's one of the main

33:05people to testify. And something that she added was, and I don't she may have told the police this, but this was told in the courtroom. She added that EJ and Shelby had told her about another time before that they tried to get Shay to overdose. Wow. Yeah, except for their fucking idiots. They crushed up I be profan. And put it in his tea and he drank it all, but it didn't do anything to him. Bro didn't have any back pain for days. I be profan. I mean, God, been a drill, bro, like something. Yeah. Fuck, you could have put eye drops in his drink. That had killed him real quick. But so the prosecution, they wanted to address that because they wanted to prove that it was it was premeditated. She had already been playing it. Sure. EJ did take the stand. Yeah. She said that the whole thing was planned by Shelby,

34:10that she went along with the attempted overdose because she thought that it was just an innocent science experiment that Shelby wanted to do. I mean, she's only 18. Yeah. She's just being stupid. She's just like had a biology, you know, like some kind of presentation. She hasn't used my baby daddy for that. That's fine. She said that she told the jury that she'll be wanted EJ and the baby out of herself. Yeah. She was in love with her. She was in love with her. Absolutely. EJ's defense team said that she'll be even told detectives how much she hated Che in her interrogation. She hated him so much. And she said that this little girl would just be just fine without her dad in her life. And I mean, I'm telling you like just monotone. Another thing that Shelby said during her interrogation, it was like the relaxed time after she kind of already confessed and they're just they got one detective in there and they're just

35:13waiting or whatever. And they brought her a hamburger. Yeah. So she looks over at the other detective and she's like, I just have a question. He's like, okay. Do you think we can keep this off of Facebook? Oh my god. And he's like, oh no, it's it's going to hit the news and it's definitely going to be on Facebook. I mean, EJ found someone. I wonder how early she started grooming this girl. Oh, if she had four years with her, that's when she started. Yeah. And one of the pictures that they showed, like, you know, they'll show like different ages or whatever. Well, she's in her softball uniform, so high school age. Yeah. She looks like she's Callie's age. I mean, and in the photo, she still looks so young. Yeah. I know she's 18, but she looks younger than 18 to me. Um, so the defense said that EJ prior to the murder, EJ and Shay were considering getting back together. Okay. Wasn't expecting that. Yeah. Well,

36:19that was the motive is to why she'll be one of them gone. I got you. In fact, that's also what the defense said was why she picked him up to begin with. They are putting forth a pretty good reasonable doubt. Yes. In my opinion. Yes. They're giving every scenario that they possibly can. Yes. So when they picked him up, it was when they got out and had that private conversation was when they were talking about getting back together. EJ told the jury that the only reason that she threw Shay's phone that night was because she was frustrated because she couldn't unlock his phone to call 911 and her phone was dead. And the other two girls, the girl who's so concerned about make it makes sense. The Shelby who's so concerned about the shit getting on Facebook, her phone never fucking lies. You got me fucked up. Yeah. Um, the other thing, and you're right, this is definitely reasonable

37:25doubt. Yeah. The other thing that they said was if EJ knew that Shelby would, how am I on time? You're good. If EJ knew that Shelby was going to shoot him, why would she put herself face to face with Shay in direct fire? Oh, yeah. Because if that bullet would have went through him, that's true. It would have hit her. I still, I don't know. Okay. So you're the jury. And I know you're like, I'm telling you that, yeah, I don't know who her. They did a good job. They tried to say that this murder was something that just happened, that she had no intention of killing Shay. And that, uh, so they're not even trying to deny she pulled the trigger. No, because she already said that in her interrogation. It's her gun. It's her, I mean, they were not, that that was not even in question. Were they at least trying to, were her, were Shelby's attorneys at least trying to flip it back on EJ? No, because. Wow. Some of the things that they, they at the prosecution made known was that EJ's name and Shelby's phone was Bay. Oh, man. The whole grooming and the, the held captive against her will, she did this because she was a young girl in love. They couldn't play that because it was,

39:33it was clear that Shelby had feelings for her. It was clear that, dude, that that's what they did. EJ reciprocated like was she, I don't know. Okay. I don't know. Gotcha. That's fine. I would imagine she would have had to, if that was the mindset of Shelby at 18 years old, in this woman's 29, to me, there had to have been some sort of, I don't know. I mean, I guess it could be big sister, little sister. It could be mentor. There's, so I don't know. It's unclear. It never came out. No, it just was, it came out only that Shelby was in love with the girl. Gotcha. So when they did try and talk about, she was being groomed or she was being manipulated or anything like this. They were like, well, she's clearly stated that she's in love with this girl. And this is not something that, and yeah, she could have been manipulated into doing it, no doubt. Yeah. So she, they only deliberated for, I don't know, maybe an hour. I didn't write it

40:39here. 15 minutes. Yeah. She was charged with murder under Annie and a law sentence, 255 years as well. All right. So the exact same sentence. Hannah was offered a plea deal. And the only reason why she was offered a plea deal is because Shay's family had already gone through this twice. And they felt like her involvement was not as much or as in detail as the other two, and they didn't want to go to trial again. What was her offer? So her offer was, she, they gave her 17 years. I don't know the details on the offer. They gave her 17 years. I didn't know it was, if it was going to be like, we'll let you off on probation. So she got, yeah, she's eligible for parole after 10. Okay. Which, if it were me, she was a driver. Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. I didn't get any idea that she was involved further than, but yeah,

41:40but in some states, if you're the driver, you are just as responsible. You are held in the same charges as the people who robbed or murdered or whatever you were driving them for. So, Indiana must not be that way. Indiana is not that way. The other thing that was unclear for me was exactly where these two, these three women were housed, because one of them said the state correctional facility than another source said the women's prison and another source said, so I would imagine that they're all within the same jurisdiction, but I don't know if they were all housed in the same like they don't have connect like, I don't think so. Not connection to each driver, but like contact with each other. Yes. So that was unclear. So I didn't even put that in here. So the crazy thing. Well, here's this is that's a yeah. Oh, I'm terrible at this.

So in Indiana, because when I was reading through the paperwork and everything that I saw, it kept saying murder, charged with murder. There was no first degree. There was no, there was no other word other than, they were charged with murder. Okay. So in Indiana, the sentences or the charges that they have, they have reckless homicide and involuntary manslaughter. Those two hold one to six years in prison. I feel like that was reckless. What did you say it was involuntary? No, reckless homicide.
