苦しみを去って楽しみを求むる道はいかん。答えて曰く、学問なり
中江 藤樹（なかえ とうじゅ、慶長13年3月7日(1608年4月21日） – 安元年8月25日(1648年10月11日）)は、近江国（滋賀県）出身の江戸時代初期の陽明学者。近江聖人と称えられた。
朱子学を学んだ後に王陽明の「知行合一」説に傾倒し、わが国で初めて陽明学を唱えた中江藤樹は生涯、民間にあって身を終わっている。盗賊を感化し、また山で薪をとる者も、田畑を耕す者も、遠村から老若男女が訪れて市井の聖人・藤樹の話に聞き入った。
中江藤樹は人の道を説く学問の楽しみを庶民に伝えようとしたのである。
