大塩 平八郎（おおしお へいはちろう、寛政5年1月22日（1793年3月4日）- 天保8年3月27日（1837年5月1日））は、江戸時代後期の儒学者、大坂町奉行組与力。大塩平八郎の乱を起こした。
現代の「実学」は、陽明学の系譜にあるのではないか。学んで知識を得ることは始まりであって、それを社会の問題解決に生かしてさらに深めていき、次の高みに立って新たな知識を求めていく。そういうダイナミックなサイクルが、現代の陽明学たる「実学」であろう。
