I'm basically more than $6,000 from a pizza hut was a restaurant Wednesday, which he was
a delivery driver. Lincoln Police officers were called to a pizza hut near West A Street and Coddington Avenue at 5.15 on the report of an ex-employee stealing funds, according to the Lincoln Police Department. The manager had conducted an audit on delivery drivers and determined 30-year-old Abel Zamora of Lincoln had 155 orders logged in as undeliverable. He showed up, he showed up in a pizza place, and like somebody's not there, that probably happens to some colleges and stuff like that, but he did 155 of them from July of 2024 to March of 2026. So did he deliver the pizzas and get the cash? He kept the cash. Yeah, but then he wrote back undeliverable, but that's a good point. What did he bring? I guess he did when he showed back up, he just logged it in and anything and he goes, What don't you pay for it? Now we had pizza delivered the other day from Tom and I was saying we just paid for it online. I don't know. Well, I'm guessing, you're in a college town. There's still kids and people showing up with cash in hand.
I suppose. Multiple customers that confirmed that they did receive their pizza and paid in cash. The amount is told is $6,271, dumb criminal. He was taken into the legs to county jail and suspicion of theft and consolidated defenses of over $5,000. I had 12 undeliverable pizzas last night. But doesn't somebody ask questions when you say, Hey, it was undeliverable, but I showed back up and don't have a pizza. I don't, I think I'm sure it just logs it in, you know, they don't think he was just logging it in. It sounds like he was doing it a lot. You think you did over two years. Yeah, I mean, how do you think five times over two years? Where'd that pizza go, man? Uh, I don't know. I, you know, we used to, I, I delivered pizza, you know, yeah, but you probably could have shown up where they better scheme to get $6,000 over the course of two years. Well, here's a deal about that. Yeah, it lasted two years and they did it audit to figure it out. He probably thought he was home free after all the year, of course he came into it.
He thought, this is the best scam ever. They got no idea. Why stop? Able's got a new car to try to deliver. I used to do something similar, the one real job that I had, it was a truck stop, you know, convenience store gas station and they do a lot of leisure for a while. You got the free car wash if you filled up with a tank of gas, but if you came in and you just wanted a car wash, it was like three or four bucks, but, you know, it was out of his cash. So if somebody rolled in and just wanted a car wash, everybody was running out to take care of them because that's what everybody did pocketed the cash. So it was the better audit and find out Todd Brent, no, there's no way to keep track of that because we could have said, well, no, they, they filled out gas, yeah, they filled up with gas. There weren't cameras, nothing like that in those days, you know, that was back in the day. But it was a oftentimes you'd have three or four car washes and you had your beer money for the night. There you go. All right.
I'm sorry. You lost me at the car wash was four bucks. Yeah. I'm just thinking about the last time I rolled through the car wash and it was a 17. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You're a thief, Todd. That was. I was a thief at one point. Is that to consider it in bezelman? Three bucks. I asked you that type of the way I went about the crime. Yeah. Because you took it. I don't know. Or does that have, is in bezelman have like a dollar amount? You have to be above it. At some point it's just petty theft. But I was really stealing from the company. Yeah. You were. But they're fine. Yeah. They're still in business to this day. So I don't think I'd ever stand again. Have they're higher up? Yeah. Look up the, what's the, what's the, what's the, what's the, the, the, the Inflation Calculate? Inflation Calculate. Oh. Oh. Oh. Three bucks now compared to three bucks then. Well, three bucks then compared to what it is now. I'm guessing it's probably 12 now, maybe. Well, now you couldn't, never really got the car, so you couldn't, right? You couldn't take that. No, very people pay cash, so you couldn't pull that off today.
That's weird about cash because I still keep some cash on me for emergency purposes. But the fact is that you almost feel like you don't want to pull it out ever, you know, I even pulled it out of the party of the day because we were leaving the bar real quick and, uh, what do you consider emergency purposes? That's why you don't know. I don't know. My grandfather always told me when, when I was a little kid, you know, always have a couple bucks on you. And, uh, now granted when I was a younger man, a couple of bucks meant two bucks, but now it usually I try to keep 60 to 80, 100 bucks on me. Wow. That looks like, according to this Inflation Calculator, car washes have actually the, the inflation is about right. Three bucks back then is about 18 bucks now. Okay. So it stayed just the inflation rate, okay. Yeah. It's about right on. You've got to carry weapons because you're always carry cash. Mm-hmm. You have any weapon. Man, you are quoting some rock and roll today, aren't you, man? You're a rock and roll quote machine this morning. Good for you, bro. I'm with you, Ty. I like to have 20 to 40 bucks on me.
Oh, do you want to hear a vapin in the girls room? Sure do, man. Yeah, this is fair. See, you've got about 45 seconds of a teacher scolding a boy for smoking in the room. It's just the crew version of the Brownsville Station. Okay. Motley crew. Woo. Yeah. I don't see the half of those days. We have the ones on the case for me. I'll teach you all about your best friend. Oh. Vince shows up in the bathroom. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I can't stand out. I'm sitting in a West room thinking it's a track. Yes, the teacher, the teacher, the job ain't going on. I'm back. The two-way, you know it's my cue. I'm going to be the boy's only tough. I'm with you. Vapin in the girls room. This is one of the better covers. I mean, most covers are unnecessary. But I thought this was actually pretty good. The original series was so antagonist huge, we don't know we're in school back in this way, way, way back. But they put the Brownsville Station. They put the stamp on it made a little different. I mean it's the same tune, but we we both tunes that we talked about
Our unnecessary that's our buddy Craig said that years ago. Right. And I love that term when it comes and covers the main bad Just unnecessary just note for note unnecessary not bad, but unnecessary, right? The original songs of the 70s shows a little different sounding you guys you guys are both watching the show paradise on Hulu, right? Yes, yeah, have you noticed that and they did this in the very first one. I got to catch up on that damn it Yeah, it's yeah, they think I think I probably like about this show I liked when they were in the bunker with all the cool town. Yeah, it bounces back and forth. Yeah, I know it does But I like that cool town feel you know, but but like the you know in the first episode they used a like a cover of Phil Collins another day in paradise. Yeah, and who was that? She was great. She kicks voice, right? I don't know, but they've done it almost in every episode where they take a a cool rock song and then turn it into a like a breathy piano ballad version and I'm kind of slow thing, right? Yeah, and I'm kind of getting tired of the bit Yeah, like I love the show. Yeah, but like every episode they do like the last one they did
They did a version of final countdown, but at least at least They're doing it completely different at least are going to completely different Yeah, I'll go because our problem with unnecessary covers Is the ones that just basically I get it if you're just singing a song They also did a lot of that with Tom Petty tunes and that series bad monkey, which was pretty cool though Yeah, well that the whole that was all that was on track Yeah, yeah, there were a lot of breathy Interpretations of Tom Petty tunes and some of them just suck Yeah, I just I'm a bit suck Todd. You're right. Yeah, I love that show But I'm getting tired of that bit where they just turn a good song into a slow ballad. I keep forgetting about that I think the finale is this weekend. Okay. Well, I'm at least four or five episodes back. It's forgot about it actually I think it's eight total. Oh, I watch the episode where the one chick dies. That's pretty sad Then it's less when I watch. Oh, yeah, you're behind me. Well, yeah, I'm back away. It's right. I'll check it out Yeah, but I'm surprised she they killed her, but yeah, she's a famous actress
Give it that'll happen So yesterday we talked to a joiners the name of the group. Yeah, the breathy version Of another day in paradise. I think it's playing now If you bring me back up hold on one second I like that version was cool Yeah, see No, this sounds like something that plays in the lobby of my therapist No, but Todd, it's playing over a scene. That's why it works. Yeah, that's why it works. Right Yeah, it fits what you're seeing right on the video Well, I remember this was their second choice. They wanted paradise city But all they did okay, Guns and roses said we want too much money. No, no, they were they just couldn't come to a number All they all they all they want to pay anyone they want more money. I guess the story read was they originally wanted to call the show paradise city All they did. Okay, and when guns and roses make sense that would make sense when guns and roses wouldn't license the song
I never mind because they knew what they were going to do with him. Yeah, they're gonna make a breathy version of paradise city and that would have sucked Yeah, I like I say they've done that almost every episode and I'm just getting a little tired of the bit Well, we we've also so we've said that before I thought that this What a song I are necessary. I if I never hear metallic is version of of Turn the page. Yeah, but again, I'll be too soon. I can throw the original in on that on that thought too Well, because it's such a clutch. It's been played forever. Yeah, right been played forever. Yeah, yeah, be Did my skull for years. Yeah, but at least it was the original. Yeah, if you worked any form of classic rock radio Yeah, you want to that was mandated each your head against the Bob Seger version was mandated. Oh, yeah Once we got tired of that one Metallica came off It's happy and that's I mean, it was well after we good we were good and sick of tired about exactly I didn't get that I thought that was a great. I know it was big hit for Metallica
But they have show but their original is their great play for your original Metallica. Wait, do they play that crap? They play whiskey in a jar. That's not bad. Although. I like thin Lissie's version better There's that Lissie wasn't the original. It's a little Irish tune. Yeah, they've come back around to doing whiskey in a jar every now and again That's not bad. I don't think turn the page ends up in the set list very often really good. Yeah good because they got a lot of their own even on the two-day The two-day thing. Uh, no. I didn't when we when I saw him in St. Louis They did they did not play that I'm pretty sure just somebody stand up and just front with a sign says no turn the page I would do that Was Metallica's show I'd have a no turn the page shirt on the one night in Denver and they didn't play that song Yeah, I think it's all understood between the band and the fans No one wants to earn the page Stop it. Stop it. Nobody wants to hear that crap anymore. Nobody wants to earn the page No, they don't best of the way they do it Chad Daniels are in the studio a little later on this morning. He's at the funny bone this weekend We had Whitney Cummings on yesterday
I didn't know there's a bunch of skateboard guys get old of us. Yeah, they gave us a little intel on you Yeah, they Chris Cole guys bad dude Well, he wasn't getting trouble in 2023 for domestic violence lost some sponsors Well, I wouldn't have brought that up with her with a talker about that. That's their own life from your own scene But wow, are they married or just boyfriend? They're engaged engaged They're engaged and she said don't trust in the interview. They're getting married. It was a great interview She was really cool with us, but I wouldn't have brought that up either way. Hey, what what about the domestic violence?
