He's birthday is today Todd on this state in 1976, Peyton Manning was born. He's 50 today. Peyton Manning. What a guy. Have you watched this on yet, Nick? I watched the first like 10, 15 minutes of it. Yeah, I get it. I did. I saw that it was on TV that I actually had to go to Tilden on Saturday. Oh, I got it. I saw like through his first set at the comedy seller. Yeah. He would have got booed during that first set. You know, he's just kind of telling the story. I think I earned my keep. Yeah. Okay. Now it's with that in mind that can I run across a subreddit here. It's ask read it. Who was the rudest celebrity that you ever met in person? Paulie Shore. Well, you worked with him, right? So, but he was rude to you. You mentioned that. Paulie Shore is a dick. Okay. Yeah. But I could not find Peyton Manning on this list. Everybody loves Peyton Manning. I scrolled rather extensively. Universally loved. It's so fun. Here's my problem with this story is that
I'm trying to think since we've met a lot of people lucky enough to meet a lot of people and you know, take me to the studio over the years. I'm trying to think it was a rudest. I can think of it. I don't mean I don't mean it. I don't mean it had to be even an interview situation. I might have met up in just somewhere backstage or something like that. I can think of a few. In mind, maybe you're kind of on an off day. That's what I always say because, you know, I'm sure the minor celebrity we have. I know people caught me on the wrong day. Yeah, we're not in that list. We're not in that list. We're not in that list. May have left a bad impression with some people. I worked at the place where twice and there were two nights of shows each time. I think it's four days. All right. The only ones that get like multiple mentions and I won't dwell on single ones here, but multiple mentions for Catherine Heigel. I've heard she has a reputation and be difficult. Also, Dwayne Johnson, the rock. Really? Yeah. Got multiple mentions on this. This one kind of surprised me. Bill Nye. A lot of people didn't like Bill Nye.
Yeah. I never know. You might be just a, you know, uptight rude guy in person or they might not like the truth. I don't know about that. He's not walking around, but you're right. No, but I mean, all the stuff he talks about is science and truth and that doesn't mean his rude. I mean, rude is being like just weird to people. Yeah, but you don't know what their, what their opinion is colored by. Yeah, maybe just a dick. People who aren't into science probably aren't going to go to a Bill Nye, the science guy, meet and greet. Yeah, maybe. I don't know. I don't know. I mean, I could think of a couple of times meeting people where you could tell they were absolutely not into being there. They weren't openly rude, but they were just like, oh, you're, you hate this. Don't you? Yeah. Don't you? Vince Neal. Yeah. Yep. And then there's a whole thread about Mario Lopez. Good. You want just a dick to us? Yeah. And we're on the phone with him. And we read a couple of these Mario Lopez dude walks around with studio security. Or they made snide and down right at hard comments. Two and about people on the universal lot, just a bitter. He's a good Christian to bug away with
an on camera persona. That's a full 180 from who he is when the cameras are off. That sounds like a little insider there. Then another guy says a friend and his girlfriend were at a bar in T1 of the 90s. Mario Lopez started aggressively hitting my friend's girlfriend. My friend said, hit the road screech and everybody laughed. So Lopez had them kicked out of the bar. Well, what did he do? He was pretty famous in young men. Dick Boo. But you know, almost had to call the L.A. Sheriff office on him once. What did he do? No explanation. But he's a great shape. And he credited. He isn't really good to work too, you know. Is this your guy? Do you think that he just doesn't want to act anymore? He just wants to host stuff. I don't think he's a great actor. No. And first of all, that job is a is a push job and a pace. So a lot of people do those daily talk show kind of things because it's money,
man. And you're on camera all the time. Yeah. And you're working steadily. Right. Yeah, acting. It doesn't show up. I have the type of the greatest actor sometimes have to wait for certain gigs. Who does he work for now? He's on an extra, isn't he? Oh, those shows are still on. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I get all I get all three of those extra entertainment tonight. And what's the other one? There are three. What all inside addition is more newsy, but it's still kind of celebrity driven. But the other two are obviously the celebrity ones. They're all still on. From the onion, Chick-fil-A announces two halves of buns must be married before becoming sandwich. The audience the best. And now it's not an easy time to try to do satire. I think I set you on going to break, didn't I? But somehow they managed to pull it off. Yeah.
I said, I said you won separately, Nick. And on your headline this week. Yeah. I think so. Yeah. Boyfriend barely alcoholic as far as boyfriends go. A friend. Yeah. And then I think I set one all of us to just the other day. But yeah, it's tough that you're right. It's a completely tough to come up with funny stuff on the onion that isn't sometimes well. Okay, because we are we. First of all, the paraplegic guy, the next up paraplegic, the quadriplegic guy with no arms and legs and shooters of shoot somebody with a gun is an onion headline. And he's a professional cornhole player. Everything about that is an on top of every year. Here's somebody on the thread, Nick, that agrees with you. Polly, sure. Total dick. Couldn't have been less interested in being as does somebody worked in morning television in Chicago. Couldn't be less interested in being on the show. Yeah. Polly's better. Yeah. I'm, you know, I like Polly, but I know exactly what
they're talking about when it comes to him. Yeah. You know, he's just that way. Yeah. Well, yeah, he's above, he thinks he's above people. And yeah, I guess that's what happens when you're in Encino, man. Who else? Nick, when you met backstage, he didn't lie. Who else? Oh, I can understand it here. This guy, not necessarily a dick to us. He just a dick to everybody else. Rob Shiner was a dick to you. Oh, yeah, Snyder sucks. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You else was a dick with John Caparulo. Oh, you was. Yeah. Yeah. Well, he, I was on that week into host at the funny bone. Okay. And he, I didn't mean to do it. Caparulo is just just basically, I, you know, Caparulo is the non-child porn John reap. Yeah. That's in his bio now. Yeah, but Caparulo was going to show with us and his stance pretty good, but was he rude to you? Okay. Yeah. Well, I was on the, on the shows that host and he like didn't want a host. I like, I just got up and did the announcements, which was embarrassing. Okay. Okay. Big crowds of people
really, they're like, oh, I'm like, oh, hey, here's, you can tell a joke. Nope. How about these condos? How about this? And like, I, that's fine. Whatever. Yeah. Yeah. And then in the green room, he's talking about, oh, you know, when I was starting out, I just, I just stand at the door by the, the bouncers at the comedy sell, or at the comedy store. I just, I do anything just to get a few minutes and do a set. And then he wouldn't let you have really weird. Wow. Yeah. My, they're not funny. Remember you quit 16 years later. I never thought it was funny. Hey, man, I'm done 16 years now. I'm done with this. Paul was a little weird when we first met him. He was. We've got, and he was a lot younger than true. We got along pretty well. Yeah. I think you guys have something to offer him. Yeah. I totally understand that. Yeah. You can, yeah. I told you to stand, but then there's, there's got to be a second layer to that then. You can't be a dick after that. Yeah. Oh, yeah. We've had dick. Should we come on? Come on. Who's, uh, the floppy's a douchebag? Yeah. So I'm rolling through this, this reddit that Todd was looking at.
And people are kind of twisting it and saying, well, yeah. But here's one that was good. Yeah. Here's, and, and, but, and here, this is one that somebody, this is a good friend of ours. Jack Hanna. This guy says he writes, my family sold a boat to Jack Hanna several years ago. He came with his wife to our home to check it out, bought it cash. It was a small boat, only like 300 bucks. They hung out with us, shot the S like any regular person would. I had a pet tarantula at the time. He saw it was like awesome setup for a rose hair tarantula. I get it. He's literally a zoologist, but it blew my adolescent mind. He knew what species it was offhand. Him and his wife were super down to earth, nicest people ever. Yeah. He loved it. Yeah. That's not the question. No. I know. Don't say it's who, who is the person you met? Yeah. Don't go jump in there and say, well, I had a good experience. No, that's not what the reddit friends all about. Look at me. An entirely different reddit thread about what celebrity did you give me that was great. And we have a long list of those. Yeah. Like James Corden always shows up in the list of celebrities who
are dead. Yeah. Well, then when you're dick at a restaurant, yeah, he got we got bands from that restaurant. You're back in a apologize. I think you went back in a apologize too. But he was I'm sorry. Can I have the chicken tenders? Yeah. Yeah. Bill and I pops up here a lot. Yeah. Never been Bill and I, but I know, but they see me see me hanging with him anyway. So they see the good expect a guy in a bow tie to be a dick. It's like a girl set aside. We could ask our agent because I think Bill Nye is a Seattle guy. Paul might even represent him. He represents a lot of famous people and us. He spends a lot of his day doing damage control for Bill Nye. Yeah. Yeah. He might actually. I'm trying to, I wish I know in the story at a time. I'm trying to rack my brain about people that were just rude. But I'm more like what Paul says. I've been around enough rock stars and and famous people mainly rock stars in those
situations where you know, they don't want to be there. So I don't bug them. Yeah. And I don't bug them. You know, well, this was this was the first bet melon camp in 1985. I know it's a long time ago, but he was the height of his game and stud and he was backstage and he didn't want to be there. So I was just I just shook his hands that that said love yourself and he kept moving. But I think I, but I was going to bend his ear and I saw some people tried to bend his ear and he was going, ah, don't bend my ear, man. By the way, you see all is why I saw more videos of him working out of the cigarette Todd. Oh, yeah. He's he's pushing a sled in the latest latest one on his property with his trainer. He's got one of those sleds on the ground on the on a path he has on the sick. He lives in Indiana. Big farm out there. And he's pushing the sled with a cigarette. He's on him on purpose now. He's got cigarettes hanging out his mouth and always work out. I see him doing some other workouts with a cigarette and his mouth. Pretty fun. Treadmill with a cigarette and his mouth. Yeah, the last time the Vince Neal one that I would mention that it was it was an organized meet and greet. You know, we everybody was there, but as it was your turn to walk up and say hi to Vince Neal straight faced. Didn't
smile barely any eye contact. Just like, hey, we didn't wouldn't smile in the photos. Well, I remember it was just like, all right, never mind. And I remember when they first made their first comeback tour all together in 97. They played no more. We were backstage and and they all couldn't have been nicer, but they had just got back out and after grunge and they were starting to kick ass again. But you're right, though. He cried a bad day. Yeah, yeah. And we caught him on a good day. Yeah, we did. I had met him before when he was nice. That night, he was just totally disinterested in doing any of it. Yeah. Jeans him and stared right through my soul. He was trying to assess a dollar value, and whether or not he could sell it. He turned the corner and kids was there. They just go, hot as bed of the world. And it's like searing. I was like, oh, it's guy. I'm not going to say anything. Maybe he was looking for a soul. But you're right. The ones that stick with me are the ones that were awesome. Like when you met a rock star and they were as cool as you wanted them to be. Right. You know. That's because we're nothing. It's not positive. Yeah.
Not everybody's Robert Siddler. What's your blood type, Ty? Be positive. There you go. Always has been always will be.
