李 承晩（り・しょうばん、イ・スンマン 1875年3月26日 – 1965年7月19日）は、朝鮮の独立運動家で、大韓民国の初代大統領（在任1948年 – 1960年）。
李承晩には毀誉褒貶があるが、植民地、独立闘争、建国、朝鮮戦争、、、など幾多の困難に立ち向かった人であることは間違いない。民族が内部で争うことは筆舌に尽くしがたい悲劇であり、統一こそが民族を前に進ませる道である。内部対立の克服が繁栄への道である。それは民族、国家だけではない。あらゆる団体、組織にもあてはまる道理だ。ばらばらになれば生き延びられない。
