Did we bring up the fact, you know, his weiner or his balls and white lotus?
02We talked about that. I don't know that we talked to him since then, I'm not sure. And now his daughter is going to be on the call, I'm not going to bring her off, because she's going to be there and she's like, I've got teenagers. Do you think about your dad's prosthetic dolling and white lotus? I don't want to bring that up, but we were talking about Steve's on Austin. I think that we looked funny too. You confirmed it. Anaconda? Anaconda, whole rod and jack plaque. Yeah, I went in with it. I watched with my son. I was like, oh, this will be entertaining. But dude, I laughed really hard. And Steve's on's in that. Let me make that joke about, he's like a cleat. There's a city. I'm Detroit sober, something like that. And he says, he goes, no drugs or alcohol, except for some of the clear liquids and some beer, something like that. I can't remember the actual quote, but it's on the trailer. But he's in that too, right? Yeah, there's even down with them to help make the movie. Yeah, okay. What's wrong with this junk and white lotus? What was that? Oh, I think he thought he had a, might have had testicular cancer. Oh, right, okay. His ball, and they show it like five minutes into episode one.
03Right. It was just like boom. Oh, geez, there's Steve's on's prosthetic dong. Yeah, shit. What's up with the first season? That's called a, you know, keep going. That was the very first white lotus. No, that was, yeah, that was the first season. Yeah. I want to be funny because a lot of times, Pulsar Good info from an interview and they say they don't want to talk about this. We don't want to talk about that, but it'd be funny if Steve's so much people said, since he's told with his daughter, don't bring up his big nut. Well, we don't even want to talk to him that. She's a big girl. She's, yeah, she's 23. Yeah, I don't think she wants that visual. She probably saw it. Oh, the movie. Yeah, yeah, yeah, not his nuts. Well, no, but in white lotus, yeah. Oh, she probably saw the one. Well, let's check out that new project. Oh, dead. Well, we'll see how many of you go. Is everyone to talk about this new movie? So we'll see how they got it. We only have a short period of time with us. All right. Take a banana for the ride. I says on Netflix now. It's all because hit Broadway solo show. Wanted to only Jeff Ross with us.
05Jeff Aster general Jeff Ross journey. It's out of Tyler. Good morning, fellas. Morning, brother. How you doing, man? What's the good word? Where are you guys? We're based in Omaha. We're syndicated. Where are you? Where are you right now? LA or New York? I'm in New York, baby. New York. Have you ever lived in LA or you live in New York all the time? I split my time between LA and New York and I'm a citizen of the world at this point. That's fair. I've been all over the world this year alone. Well, congratulations on this. I mean, it was a Broadway show in 2025. Take a banana for the ride. What's it about? It's about resilience and bouncing back. And I layer in my life stories and some music, but it's really about all our lives and how we deal with loss. I lost my parents when I was young. I live with my grandfather when I was an open-micre. And my three pals, Bob Saggett, Gilbert Gottfried, and Norm McDonald all passed away
06with an eight months of each other during the pandemic. And it kind of inspired me to talk about these themes that people don't always want to talk about and make it funny. Everybody's going through something, so I wanted to create a cathartic kind of group therapy session. Yeah, we get to certain age. You lose a lot of people. And I've lost some people myself, including an ex-wife, but I understand that. So I'm anxious to watch this show. It's on Netflix right now. And it's about just people. Yeah, it's on Netflix right now. It's kind of surreal. My whole family's on Netflix right now. Now, when you did this live every night, how long did it run on Broadway? We did an eight-week limited engagement, eight shows a week. Now, how did you not go over and over? Or did you throw in some different stuff every night? Oh, I mixed it up every night. And the whole last act of the show is improv with the audience. People would stand up and tell me their problems and I would roast them and give them a banana. All you roasted them, that's excellent.
07And as part of that, it sounds like a bit, but that was really what happened. Oh, hence the yellow suit. Oh, yeah. No, I wore a yellow banana color suit. I wanted to represent a Bruce Banana on stage. I take the hits. Even beings, you know, we're like bananas. You know, we're mushy on the inside, but we have this outer skin that protects us. You need thick skin to get through life, right? And how do you do? People night, how many bananas would you hand down? Oh, man, the theater sat 1237. So we had a lot of bananas. And if it was raining out, we had a few left over. And the king of lipid and slide it outside the theater. Jeff Ross with us, the king of roasting people. Now, these people are not in the public guy. Just people random people in the crowd. And all roasting is based on some sort of fact and you're just looking at them. So was anybody pissed off? He gave him crap? Are they expecting it? No, I only roast volunteers. They had to stand up. Okay. They had to stand up and volunteer. I had one guy on the last day.
09He lost his hands in an explosion. And this guy stood up. His name was Gary. He said, no, no, this is a good story. I have a, you know, this happened to me when I was young. And now I'm a successful designer. I retired, he introduced me to his wife. And I said, you know, give me a, I don't, I asked for a fist bump, but I don't want to be insensitive. And I'm not going to get you guys in trouble and throw it off the air. Yeah, that's fine. Chef Ross, take a banana for the ride. The new Netflix special. It starts so starting yesterday. It's happening now. No, happening now, right? It's on, baby. You could watch it in the bathtub tonight. Are you on tour? Are you just, you're always on tour. I'm going to do a show in Reno and June in Atlantic City and June. I got a couple of dates coming up. But I'm mostly in full roast mode right now because Mother's Day, May 10th, we're going to do a roast of Kevin Hart. Oh, yeah, I saw. Is that going to be live?
09Oh, yeah. OK. It is. Yeah. Oh, man. Yep. Breaking the ground live roasting. No, no net. No editing. It all happens. It can, do you know Kevin Persley? I'm sure you do, right? I know Kevin for my whole adult life at this point. Great guy. And now he's rich and famous. And he's got everything except he's not tall. So does he take any, how do you think I'll handle the roast? Oh, he already said he bring it. He wants us to go no holds barred. He's going to, he wants us to go hard because that gives him permission for his rebuttal to be scorched earth. My favorite part about the roast are when there's somebody on the day as and you always have somebody that's not a comedian and they get ripped. I mean, the Marsha Brady won from years ago. Yeah, what who's going this year? That's not a comedian. Oh, you're going to have to tune in and find out, baby. Oh. Good to see you. You're going to have to tune in. Do you think I'm giving that exclusive to you guys?
11Are you crazy? I know. I know. Damn it. I thought I had you on the edge there. What's Brady the only guy in a position to say, hey, I don't want you to talk about this. Or do you do some roasties say, don't go here? No, I mean, obviously I want everyone to move the roast going, wow, that was so much fun. You never really want to hurt people's feelings. So, you know, we do it within the grounds of good taste. We want it to be a party. Yeah, more than anything else. You know, you got to you got to scratch the skin, not break it. All right. Jeff Ross take a banana for the ride on Netflix now. I'm anxious to watch this myself. We appreciate you calling and having fun. And you sure you won't give us one name? Nah. Shane Gillis, the great Shane Gill. We know he's great. He's a funny guy. He's a funny guy. He's going to be totally hilarious. All right. Thank you, Jeff. We appreciate it. Good luck. We're going to talk soon. All right. Lots of love. See you, man. Have fun. Jeff Ross. The Roast Master General. He's cool.
11Yeah. If you're a calling in comedian on the show, that's how you do it. Serious. Oh, yeah. Right away. What's up? What's up, fellas? How you doing? Blah, blah, blah. What are you from? What's going on? You know, bang, bang, bang. You know, engaged. Engaged. Engaged. And we, you know, we sometimes we don't have that. He's not like from a lot less famous people. Or not engaged. A lot less famous people. It is surprising when comics will call into promoting show or whatever they'll just be like, you'll be like, what's going on? And they're like, oh, not this day. It's not right. We've had people in the studio do that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Recently. I get that more. Are you guys talking about me? No. No. You've got everybody trying to look at us. It's just turns. You guys just turn. You guys just turn. This is how you look. What? What do you do? No. When you do show up, you mean. You two bring it. Austin. But yeah, we could have been talking about you. But no, we weren't. Dude, I love those rows, man. I like it. They are so good. One of my favorite rows was like the James Franco one
13when Sarah Silverman. She was like Seth Rogen rolled a big fatty before the show. Because that was the only way to get Jonah Hill on the stage. I laughed for 20 minutes. Like, I still laugh about it. Yeah, they show up my reels all the time. Dude, I actually just cut that reel and put it on my Instagram. Because I really just because of my love for it. I just saw Greg Gerardo, you know, passed away. He was so good on those two. I mean, he really, oh, yeah, yeah. And I just saw a recent him after he was hammered. It was so good. What do I think Greg Gerardo is so funny, man? But the situation from Jersey Shore was on. And what he's doing. It just ate it. Yeah, completely ate it. Then Anthony Jessel think. Goes up. Hey, I have to admit just turns to him and goes, good job. Yeah, I think last time Ronc took a lot of strays. Yeah, and I remember, I can't remember who his roast was, but Ann Coulter was up there. Oh, everybody was just sad happy. No, she was not happy.
14She was, they were savage to Ann Coulter. She was not happy. I do. I remember them. Good for them. Yeah. Yeah. I mentioned Marsha Brady, of course, who's, you know, a Marine McCormick and cable guy. Remember his roast? He looked over to me and said Marsha Brady. What happened? Yeah. Because she was a little heavier and not as hot as she was when she, I don't know when she was 15. I don't know. But I remember going, what happened? And then it's got to stick more if coming from cable guy. All right, come on back. I'll see you with us.
