辰野 金吾 （たつの きんご、1854年10月13日〈嘉永7年8月22日〉- 1919年3月25日） は、日本の建築家である。
晩年に長男から、本人がつくった多くの建築物の中で気に入った建物を聞かれたときの返答がこの言葉だった。
冒頭の言葉は、辰野金吾の志の高さをあらわす言葉とみたい。
