01You know what your customers are doing right this second? The exact same thing you are. Listening to me. Which, let's be honest, is kind of flattering. But my point is ads on iHeartRadio actually get hurt. In the car, at the gym, on the couch, while people are walking their dogs. Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy? You're a good boy. That's right, you're a good boy. So why not make the next ad about you? Get started today. Call 844-844-iHeart or go to iHeartAdvertising.com. That's 844-844-iHeart or iHeartAdvertising.com. The next segment we're going to do is called second-aid update, because that's what we're going to try and get. And that's what the bit is called.

01Second-aid update starts right now on John J and Rich. 1047-KISS-FM John J and Rich. It's time for second-aid update. You meet somebody. You got a date. You have a good time. You expect there to be second-aid. It doesn't happen. So you come up. We're going to figure out your date. We're going to figure out what went wrong. Luis, good morning. Good morning. Tell us about your date. Tell us who you went out with. What's the story? Well, alright, well, this is a weird one, because I went on a date with this girl and it was actually good to be going great. We had already been talking, and texting for a couple of weeks, at that point. You know, point, you know, good talks, joking, flirting, all of that stuff. And then it was confused when we actually got on the date because I pick her up and we're out on the date. But before like she gets into the car, she just immediately kisses me and we don't even say hi first. I'm like, all right, it's a quick kiss, but I'm like, all right, that caught me off guard,

03but I'm guessing that's like a decent start. That's a good start. Yeah, right? And so, I was, oh, they got this. So she's confident and she's feel good. So I'm feeling good. But then after that, immediately after that, we get to the place and it gets really awkward. The conversation wasn't flowing the way it did over the phone. There was like a lot of weird pausing and I really couldn't like read what she was like, like what was wrong with her or anything like that. I mean, it's not like a terrible date, but it wasn't amazing. It wasn't like, we were comfortable. I didn't feel comfortable after a while. And then after that, she just like completely ghosted and it was like no text, no nothing. And I'm just, and I'm not necessarily dying to go on a second day with her. It wasn't that good of a date. It just was such a really big ramp up and then nothing happened. And so yeah, after she disappeared, it's just kind of been bugging me just to figure out what happened. It's like love is blind. You know, they can't see each other and they

03fall in love because they're, they're just talking and they can hear each other's voices. But once you guys saw each other, it wasn't the same connection. I mean, that's possible. But you would almost think like you see that physical connection immediately. You would almost think if that was it, why would she still kiss him right away? Something had to have happened in the car from when you picked her up to when you got to the restaurant. She got the X. She got the X. Somebody's a car disgusting. Do you have like roaches in your car? No, it's a, it's a new car. I'm been, you know, like I don't even need to clean it out because it's so new. It's got a new car smell. I mean, and I didn't even put on any music because I thought we would like talk and it was a short drive from her place to the restaurant. So like, you know, I didn't, I don't think there was anything that could have triggered anything at that point. All right. So if we get her on the phone, is she going to drop something huge that you're leaving out? I mean, something that's like totally obvious. It was a problem. You sat,

05you decided to look through a bunch of black and white photos of World War Two on the day. Like, she's going to be like, we did have an hour. I don't want to deal with that. Like, is there something strange like that? No? No, no, I can't think of anything. Well, you know, she could be one of those people. I think we all know those people that always, you know, when you say how they kiss, they do it in Europe a lot. You know, the kiss cheek, cheek, maybe she gets in. She's like, Oh, my God. It's good to see you, Louise. Kiss, kiss, kiss. And you're like, Oh, okay. But that's just how she says hi to people. And then the date goes on. And she's like, Oh, there's nothing there. I'm fine. Right. I mean, there was nothing dramatic. She just didn't return your text. She's over it. Right. I mean, yeah, I guess it's just that she was so engaged in those previous conversations. I just, it's just, it's so cold. She did something. All right. Let's get her on the phone then. Let's get her on the phone. Let's find out what's wrong. What is her name, Louise? All right. We'll get Nicky on the phone. We're going to find out why she's not interested in the second date. Why? She's blown away. What went wrong? Seconded up thing continues next with John Jay Rich. For the middle of seconded update, it's Louise and Nicky. Louise, the smooth low

08talking lover boy who gave such good phone at the beginning of his date, his first date with Nicky. It started with a kiss. But then once the date started, it got a little awkward. No conversation. She shut it down. And now she is vapor. No reply at all. What's up with Louise? All right. What did he do? That's a good recap. You ready, Louise? Yeah, I'm ready. Oh, we're going to call her right now getting the phone to find out how long ago was this date by the way? Week, two weeks just today? Hi. Hi, is this Nicky? Hey, Nicky. My name is Peyton. I'm with John Jay Rich and we just wanted to talk to you on the radio really quickly this morning if you're down. Sure. Yeah. We're talking to this guy

11about a date he went on. I said it at a great time. The girl's fantastic. And now she's blown them off. And he came to us because he said he talked to his friends. He talked to people. He can't figure out why she's blown them off. So we were like, we want to hear your story. He tells us the story. We're like, maybe we can just call the girl. Long story short, you are the girl, Nicky. And we're talking about the guy named Louise. What happened? I feel like he's leaving something out, but we thought maybe you could tell us about your date with him and why you're not interested. Yeah, like I go to him. Yeah. To be honest, like I don't feel bad about it. So. Well, the reason is because look on the date, on the date, I realized he has like some bad karma. Okay. And that's, I just don't, I don't mess with bad karma. He should pick me up. And he had one of those like handicap placards hanging in his car, you know. I thought, oh gosh, it was the long-term family member because he looked perfectly fine. Nothing was wrong with him. And when we got to the restaurant, he parked in the handicap spot, hopped out of his car and he just, he was

15like, I'm pretty fine. He had nothing wrong with him. He was just like walking like a regular person, you know, no limb, no injury, nothing. And I just, that gave me the ink. I cannot stand with people that take shortcuts in life. Like that is not okay for me. I just feel like, you know, there's something wrong with you. Like that's meant for people who actually need it. And you are scum of the earth. If you are using that, I just feel like it's really selfish, it's disrespectful. And like the more I thought about it during the day, it just really bothered me. So yeah, after I just decided that I didn't want to do anything with him, I just, I just like, I believe in karma and paint it forward and bring that kind energy to the world. And that's just not, he's not that, you know, I'm sorry. I'll do it. I'm sorry. This is like, like, are you serious? No. Oh gosh, really? We wait. Yeah. So you know, I had a traumatic brain injury from a car accident a few years ago. It was like a big deal. I didn't really necessarily get into it with you when you were talking about it over the phone. But it's whatever it happened. And it hit something

17within the back of my brain and it was causing severe vertical. And it's not a thing where it's super effective in the sense of where I can't drive. But the doctors actually said that they needed me to make sure that I was here when I was able to get in and out of the car. And that's the reason why the plaque was giving to me. I didn't ask for it. I didn't want it. And I wasn't trying to play anything about it. It was given to me by a doctor. I mean, I get really, yeah, no, I mean, but I don't understand what like that makes so much sense because you didn't say anything, but why didn't you say anything? Why did you say anything? I mean, I feel like that's that's something that you don't, I didn't think I'm going to have to say that within the first four seconds of forgetting into the car. Well, dude, if you got the big handicap plaque, hang it from your rear rear rear mirror, I think you would say, by the way, I got just for, you know, I was in a doing better or you just put it under the seat and just walk to your car or watch your dinner. I mean, you you you had this huge thing dangly there. I didn't bring it up.

19No, I mean, I've had it for over 13 months. I've been using it. It's almost become a second major thing. I didn't even think about that. That's how I was going to say, I'm like, I wouldn't even think about that. I would just park where I usually park and then get in, not think that it. Brain injury. He's not thinking twice. And yeah, what if it's like traumatizing to talk about the brain injury? Well, don't go on a date. I mean, I think that's a, I think that's a legitimate gripe she has. I feel like both of them are valid because I can understand why she would feel like why immediately she would feel that way. But now that you understand Nikki, like do you still feel like Luis is like an awful person? Oh my god, no, but I just wish she would just like, Hey, this is no big deal, but like I had an accident. Right. I totally, you know, honestly, in the back of my mind, I thought it would have been something that either I would have made a mention to because I would have noticed the placard again, but it's something that's so in my, like it's always in my card now that I forget about it. And I thought she would have mentioned it. And it would have been the first thing we would have talked about. But when she never talked about it, then the date just continued. And then it just seemed like I wasn't good

23to mention it because why would I mention it while we're already sitting down at the restaurant? I didn't even think about it. I didn't think that you would think that I'm trying to pull a fast one or a jerk with bad karma. So healthy. I mean, like handicap, that's pretty big deal. You have the handicap cluster. And so, you know, I don't have friends that have that, like, that are my age. Also, those usually have an expiration date. What's your expiration date? Well, well, I think we the expiration date on 2027 in the middle of the year. I could check with my neurologist and I'm sure that I feel I feel like if I got in the car and someone was driving, I'd be like, what's this about? And then you would tell it, but also if someone got in my car and I had one, I'd go, hey, we do that happen. Like, both you guys. But now that we know, like without the miscommunication, do you think this could have been like a good date? Like, without that, do you feel like there was chemistry there? I would distract it. So I don't know. Right. They probably didn't even get to really experience one another. I feel like you need to do over. Yeah. I'm with you because the phone was good,

23right? Well, you guys just talked. Yeah. I mean, I don't know. I feel like, I mean, it's miscommunication on both your parts. You could have asked him and he could have told you. So it's kind of like, okay, knowing that it's so deep to wash, just like maybe hang out again and see if there's something there. Maybe it'll be something to laugh about it later. You can laugh about this part further away. Do you work out? Luis, are you exercise guy? Yeah. No, I, of course, I have to, I mean, I do naturally, but then I have to, you know, just to keep everything. And then I would feel that if you go in a date and you work out and you do PT that you could probably parking on typical parking space and walk into the restaurant. Okay. So you would be out. You don't think I would be out. I'd be irritated. They didn't come up. But I also would have brought it up. If I see a big handicap, my grandmother had one of those. And whenever I was driving her car, I would park far away. I didn't want, I felt bad car. I still have bad karma, but I don't want to step on the spaces. I don't want to park here. I want everybody to be able to park in the spaces whenever they can. Anyway, all right, dude. So are you guys going to try to give another shot or

24no? I don't think I can. I don't think either of them want to. No, it's not because honestly, it's just it's one of those things. The first thing she said or one of the things she said is she's like that it's bad karma, bad end. Yeah, it is. And actually, like the first thing Louis said was like, I'm not dying to go on a second date with her. So why? Yeah, I don't know. He just wanted to know why. Okay, that's why. I mean, you got all right, man. Thank you both for going there with us. Thank you. All right, that second date update with Tai Chi Rich. This is Julian Edelman from Games with Names. I want to take a second to talk about something that's personal to me. I've had the privilege of working closely with Robert Kraft for a long time. And one thing I've always respected is how seriously he takes up standing up to hate. As a Jewish athlete, my identity is something I am proud of. But I also know what it feels like to be singled out for it. That's why this new commercial for the Blue Square Alliance against hate that aired during the big game really hit home. It's about showing up for someone when

28they're targeted, even if you don't have the perfect words. And sometimes standing next to someone is enough. And you could show support by sharing the Blue Square.
