They are going to be in college station where I went to a game. I guess it was four years ago when it was awesome. And we came back and won. And now Kentucky has a chance to continue their hot winning streak

and win game at 7 o'clock tonight before they play Florida on the weekend. Ryan, this is a game that the beginning, like beginning of SEC play looked like, oh no. But A&M, like a lot of teams we've played is on a long losing streak coming into us, not playing well. Chance to steal one this evening, even though we didn't against Auburn and Georgia. Yeah, A&M's lost six of the last eight. But back in January, they were like, they were the team to beat. They were in first place. They started so hot start conference play. High in the rankings. Now they kind of just turned. Bucky Ball has kind of hit a brick wall. It seems like you're late in the season. Yeah, Drew, I think we got a real shot to win this. A&M is kind of played itself. If not on the bubble, at least one of the lower seeds, they kind of need this game. But I feel like we have a shot. I would say, again, guessing spreads, you may know is A&M like two and a half points. If you know, you nailed it, nailed it to an half point spread. Look at this. I didn't do well with the spread against Vandy.

But otherwise, been pretty good at those this year. I like our chances tonight, Drew. What about you? I do too. They're in desperation mode. I think in the last bracketology, they have one of the last buys. So they're in, but they still would like to get a few more wins. And it's their senior night down there in college station. Oh, wow. But otherwise, they've lost six out of eight. They play that Bucky Ball style. But if you can get them away from it, they don't have much of a half core defense. What's so ever? Some teams have... So what is Bucky Ball style? People will say that all the time. What does it mean? A lot of threes, a lot of layups. A lot like Alabama, basically. Okay. That's what they call Bucky Ball. And press and then press. Yeah. Press and shoot threes. It's hard to think we know those are the stories tonight. Now, we like that in terms of... We like getting in transition, which can happen. How do you think we handle the press? That's not something we've seen a lot this year. Well, now that we have AOC, I'm not too concerned about it anymore. Aberdeens being a great job at point guard. I mean, he's... Well, what would your stat you said yesterday?

Last four games, he's got like one turnover. 16 assists, one turnover. That's amazing. For a guy that is really a two guard and had to develop into this point guard. So, yeah, bring all the smoke. I like my AOC back court. Bring all the smoke. Of an AOC, even in Texas? Yeah. Oh, I am seeing Texas. That's probably... That's her stomping grounds. AOC show for people who missed the show yesterday. That's Aberdeen O'way and Chandler. We're not making them political. See, it's Aberdeen O'way and Chandler. The three headed goat AOC. So, that game is at seven o'clock. Our pre-game show will start at 4.30. There's a lot going on. Let's start with the piece of... If not concrete news, at least reported news. Drew Jack Pilgrim yesterday reported, Jaden Quaintants is back working with the team with the goal of playing in the postseason, which of course will be next week. He says he didn't say he would play, but that is the goal.

This comes after yesterday where I think we all dismiss the idea that he would play. So, what do you think about that, Drew? You think there's a chance? He plays or is it like he's going to work out, but probably not going to play? What do you think? I'm still pretty skeptical just because the calendar. He hadn't started practicing yet. He's close to starting practice. They're going to be going to Nashville a week from today. So, I mean, he really practices or left in the season. So, I like that he's trying. I like the attitude. And if he can give them some minutes, I think that will be great. I know some minutes I would like for some people to take. But it just mathematically. If you haven't practiced yet, I mean, the postseason starts next week. I just wonder how conditioning wise and how ready he can be when we only saw four games of him. Yeah, I'm not skeptical of the report. I think that's what they, what people want to be out there. I just, I guess let's just be very simple about it.

Will he play a game at Kentucky again, Ryan? Did anything change yesterday? You said no. Does anything change your mind today to yes? I still feel like it's no. I'm okay. Jack Puggan wouldn't have put it that out there without good information. But man, like Drew said, we're in March. March Madness has started. You don't just kind of run some experiments here in March. You got to go out and win the game. So my vote would be probably, maybe get back in the court to do some drills, but he's not going to play. Yeah, I mean, I tend to think no. But I also think that there is, they want people to think that he's trying and I understand that. I think probably there might have been a little internal regret. Drew about the dad post this weekend. You think that's maybe part of it? That if you want to have a conspiracy theory, some mock drafts came out yesterday and he had gone down quite a bit. I thought he's had the right attitude all year. Now I think when he came back and swelling came up and he wouldn't use the way

he kind of wanted to probably shutting it down. But if he's going to try, I completely support it. I just think you're at the end of the year where it just seems impossible for him to make a return and have enough practice. Do you think you would have much of an impact? Like, I feel like Cam Williams can come back and it would be an impact. Jayden Quaints, I mean, certainly okay, but I don't think that's really the issue for Kentucky going into the postseason. Like if I were to say to you, you could snap your fingers magically and get someone back. Wouldn't you take Cam Williams? I think you would because Jayden Quaints would probably just give you maybe what, five, six minutes of game. How much impact you'll be able to make in that short of run out there? Whereas, but Cam Williams has something that we do not have. The time you're not going to shock. I want to wing Drew. For me, I think Cam Williams would have a bigger impact. And even if Williams didn't even have much of an impact, that's just a position where you need more bodies. Where if he gave you any minutes, it could help out overall.

I still want more minutes for the element. There's bigs. I want more minutes from right now. So I think they're more desperate. The slot Cam Williams could help. All right, so then the other thing is I, I, um, you know, I don't know how you do this or how you say this right. I think there's a decent chance that there could be some big Kentucky athletics news today. If we follow the script of what always happens, it would be announced at like 1205. Yeah, right over the show ends. That's generally speaking what happens. I like how Mario turned around and looked at the clock. Still the first segment. We're not to 1205. First segment's always 10 to 10 to 10 to 20. Let me ask you. I mean, I put out, we have not as a group talked. I put out the thing last night on a KSR, plus that I was hearing something would happen.

Have you guys heard anything? We haven't talked about it. So let's see on your own. Have you heard anything? I've not. I've kind of hoped maybe you tease us a little bit about what you think might actually. I'm not like teasing you. Like you're not weird. Don't ask me. Yeah, please don't ask me. I'm not going to, I have no interest in teasing you. So you have everything. What about you Drew? I have heard something that would be on this timeline, but I did not hear it as recent as like yesterday to be on high alert. But I haven't been anticipating something. Yeah, some reasonably soon. So, you know, I mean the question. Well, I mean, I think it's an important conversation. And since I think it's going to come out at 1205, but I also want the person to be able to make his own timeline. So I'll just say I think that there's likely to be an important transition coming.

And I'll just leave it at that. And if it does, I think it's, I actually think it's the right time for it to happen. And I think it would be a big deal for Kentucky athletic. So I'll just leave it at that because, you know, it is what it is. And I can't, I think I was going to say it, Shannon and Ron use the word tease. Yeah. Then it got weird to get off. And then it felt like he got weird and I just need to change the subject. Maybe we should go an extra coverage like we do with the Julius Randall. Wasn't Julius Randall? No, it was Harrison twins. Harrison twins. We went, no, actually, you're right. It was Julius Randall. We went long. Harrison twins. We came back on the air in the after. Correct. Yeah, that was an episode. We did a special episode where we said, first they split the zygote and now they're splitting defenders. The Harrison twins are back. So, so we'll leave it at that. I would just say, I think there could, I do think there's going to be news this week and it could happen as soon as as today and this afternoon.

Now let's go back to Texas A&M. Drew, do you tell people, you know, the Bucky ball thing, why is it stopped working? You think my general view that when you're a pressing team like that, the novelty just wears off and people figure you out. That and they're top 20 in a bunch of stats, like threes, threes attempted, forcing turnovers. But I think they padded their stats a lot earlier in the year. They're ranked high in scoring offense. But they had like four games in the non-conference where they scored like around 120 points. And they didn't play a great non-conference schedule. Yeah, and then which was also why they're easier to, so I think they're getting into the tougher competition. Yeah, and that's also why they're on the bubble line. And the bottom is because they have these, they don't have a ton of losses. But they didn't really play a ton of good teams in the non-conference. They opened the SEC with like LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State. So they were seven and one in the first place for a long time. But even kind of with the non-conference, I think they were doing a lot of their work early

and now they ran into all the butt sauce. Yeah, all right. So let's talk about what happens if we win. Okay, if Kentucky were to win, we are now 10 and 6 in conference. Let's say we go to 11 and 6. All right, if you're 11 and 6 in the conference, you have a chance to not only be a 6 seed, but I think you have a chance if you were to upset Florida to be like a 5 seed, which really would be amazing when I thought if we lost a couple of like three games ago, we'd be on the bubble. You win tonight, you're probably going to be a 5, 6 seed in the SEC tournament, which gives you a path potentially to make a run. You win tonight, you're guaranteed that 21 season that we've talked a lot about over the years. You win tonight, you go into this game against Florida with some momentum,

a chance to pull off an upset, a chance to maybe even depending on what happens in the Arkansas games. If you were to beat Florida, you could get all the way up to a 3 seed in the SEC tournament, which is crazy if you think about it. There's this is a game with a potential to really like, you've kind of made it to where you've got a puncher's chance in March, but now you have a chance to have a puncher's chance after having a good seed. Ryan, this could be a huge victory for Kentucky if they could get it, which is just crazy. It's been such a topsy-turvy season. This time last week, we're talking about trying not to play on Wednesday in the first round of the SEC tournament. Now we got a puncher's chance to maybe getting up with the 3 seed in the SEC tournament, if they can pull off these two wins. I worried that the game is almost bigger for Texas A&M, though, isn't it? Like they need it for their... It is, but you know what? People can get nervous sometimes. Drew, they stand up for their big shot and then we can come in and they play nervous

and next thing, you know, we win the game. Yeah, you could say the same thing last Saturday. They were at home playing Texas. Yeah, a team they should be. I don't remember the points, but I assume they were slightly favored and you lose that one. So they've already had their back against the wall a little bit. They've lost six out of eight games here recently. So I still like Kentucky coming into this, especially as hot as Kentucky played last Saturday. And they've played well on the road a lot of times this year too. Yeah, the I-5928O 2287 will get you ready for Kentucky A&M. We will take your calls. I'm in studio so I can see the names, Shannon, so I can pick people that look like they would be fun to talk to and then save Bob and James Town for a time at the very end. Or never. Yes. Port Bob. Yes. Well, leave them on hold for two hours. Yeah, let me also say this, by the way, on my scuttle butt. If it's not today, that's okay, but I'm hearing could be today, but I do think this week, um, stop teasing Ryan. Well,

you it's just, it's just what he's just over here here. It's just, it's just, it's, uh, it's just, he's right here and I can't help it. We'll take a break. We're right back. Matt is the announcement that Amy

McGraft is a mother of fighter pilot and running for Senate. Now that right. That's that's that announcement has been made many times every time. Although you don't see as many commercials. No, no, no, no. I'm used to. Now Nate Morris. No, I know that name. I didn't know who that was six weeks ago. Well, that's why they do it. I would, but like I said yesterday, Nate, calm down. Just I'm trying to watch the game. Every other commercial's him or Andy Barr back to back. Sometimes even on YouTube, you get on, I'm just trying to watch him music video. I know. I know. I would vote against both of them just on principle. Leave me alone. Yeah. See, I'm that. Those people exist and I'm one of them. The more you bother me, I don't, you could be the perfect candidate. You can have too much of you on my television and Nate is already there. Nate. Uh, text machine 772 7745254. One person writes, Matt, if you're not going to say what the news is, why do you even talk about it?

Because that is what content is. You talk about something and then let people, you know, let people know something could be happening. Listen, like if you want just the facts are then go read the newspaper. And there's not a lot of you that do that. Like unfortunately. So that's, that's just conversation. I'm just, you know, it's, um, and there's also when it happens, I'll tell you as well. Why, why that's the case. So that's, that's why. And like, and as I, as I said online, last night when I wrote it, you know, Ryan, you and I come from an era like speculation is part of what's being fun about sports, right? Is who's going to be the coach? What, what is the time with the most listeners to KSR? Mostly our listeners stay the same during the year, but the one thing that will always spike it is a coaching search. Absolutely. That's the thing that people care about the most. And now portal season is becoming like that. Are we going to get this guy? Who's Ryan

going to guarantee that we're getting that we don't get? Because people I think like drew speculation and what's going to happen? That's part of being a fan. It wouldn't be that fun if we just all turned off the TV when the game's over and just waited until the next time you can do that and turn it on again. I don't think that's as much fun. Now before we go to the phones, Mark Stoops has a new job. I saw that. Mark Stoops is going to become the new special assistant at Texas. He will, it's hard. He will be, I guess, a consultant, which is what they're kind of doing now for former coaches as they kind of have a stopoff in between their jobs. Texas has a bunch of those guys. Ryan, what do you think about Stoops in Texas? By the way, does not get rid of any of the salary obligation we have towards? I know people ask that question. I don't know if he's getting paid or not, but I've been told doesn't change the amount UK while we. Yeah, that's the first question I

had. Is it effective buyout for Kentucky, but apparently it doesn't, but it tells me he's not known with coaching. I mean, I really thought maybe he may write off in the sunset and have his bourbon business, but he's obviously kind of still as hard as still maybe being a, even a head coach again someday, I think. And those jobs drew, they can be very different. It can be a job where you're there full time. You're essentially a member of the staff. It can also be a job where you're there during the season and you're just doing game prep like every consultant job is different. Some of them are intense and some of them are less intense and I don't know which one this will be. So I don't know what type of consultant it is, but I'm happy for Mark. We play them this year. So that'll be kind of weird seeing him on the other side of the field, but I'm happy for him that that will help him get towards, uh, you know, getting back into the business. Yeah, we won't have to, I don't think we plan until next year. So he didn't go to a a direct. We don't play him this, we play Oklahoma. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. Um, I figured he

might do this. I was actually looking for him to do Georgia. Ben so close. He's is to Kirby, but I think Texas is a good fit on Texas's end. I completely know why they went and got stupes. They're all in three against Georgia since being in the SEC and stupes, even though he never got him. His defense has played Kirby pretty well most years and then even played Texas to over time last year. So you bring him in to self scout your own team and to help maybe get you over the hump. If you happen to run into Georgia again. I mean, it's funny how different the world would be if they had just converted that one of the touchdown against Texas. No doubt. Could be, I mean, he could mark suits might still be the coach here if they had scored right there. So, uh, were you surprised that he took this position? Not really. I mean, I don't think he's like, I don't think he's like permanently moving from Lexington still. Now, if I hear he's moving to Austin, he's like full time joining the staff all the time, then that might surprise me a little bit, but I think he'll do the job where he's there during the season and practice. And, but I

would, I think his base Ryan is still going to be here. Well, like I said, just keep these fingers out there. Maybe he, you know, next year he'll be a head coach somewhere else. He'll be a head coach again. I do. I don't know when, but I think he will. And I hope he is. I'll root for his team wherever he goes. Isaiah. What's up? Isaiah? Hey, Matt, uh, listen, I just want to quote Mark Pope and say, I am mother, believe being excited. I'm so optimistic right now with the news of Cam and JQ possibly returning. Do you think they will? I mean, you're optimistic. Like, do you feel like that could happen? Or do you think it's just chapter? I think it, I think it could. And, and, and, and maybe he's not like super impactful, but on a game to game situation, matchups and everything. If you ask JQ, go get a stop. I mean, he's a defensive monster. I think, I think he could help us in that sense. Um, uh, Jack Togrum, uh, talked to Malachi's brother last night on source to say, uh, and, and I thought it was a really good piece. I encourage everybody

to listen to him. Say Malachi was going to come back. That's what I want to know. Uh, I think, uh, I think it's possible. But when I thought was very possible, it's not an answer. Did he? Anything is possible. What did he say? I didn't get to hear it. Um, well, basically with with JQ, he's just saying, you know, every game, not JQ Malachi. It's, it's, it's, it's, oh, Malachi. Malachi. Sorry. And then, of course, we lose him. Yeah, right there. I wish you wow. What a cliffhanger. I'm not going on there. I learned nothing from that. His phone didn't work. I got excited. What did Michael Moreno say? Because, by the way, I think Drew, that's the most important thing for next year. Are you getting Malachi? Moreno Moreno and Chandler promise me they come back. And that's a great head start for next year. And Moreno, well, both of them, but Moreno, especially his phone is going to be ringing a lot, because there's not a lot of those guys that'll be coming back to college basketball. So, uh, I don't know, they've already been having these conversations behind the scenes.

If you haven't got it done, lock it up soon. So there's no temptation once the season ends. Yes. Underpaid for him last year. They're going to have to overpay this year. They did underpaid. That's fine. No, do it. Yep. You can't let a kid from Scott County get out of the state and go somewhere else. If he goes to draft, that's one thing, but he can't, you can't have him go to another college. We'll take a break. Be right back. It's KSR. TJ Smith personal injury attorney called TJ. He'll make him pay. Now more Kentucky sports radio presented by Stockton mortgage. Here's Matt Jones. Welcome back. Yeah, we're not going to Austin, but we're going close. Well, it's true. Yeah. This is for you. Why do I? Why do I? Why do I? Why do I? You're right. I should have. I should have known. Jayden knows 8592 80 2287. All right. So tomorrow, um, we're going to have on, uh, cash Daniel for a little bit. He's got wrestling

on Friday. OVW is in Lexington Friday. Shannon, are you wrestling? I have no idea. But if cash wants to rumble, I'll get in there. I've heard it might be cash versus. If he wants some, he can bring it. Who? I know every, I know every trick in the book. He's probably weighs 125 pounds, more than. Yeah, but he doesn't have much between the years. He's a little dull. Oh, so I can outsmart him. It only takes 30 seconds to win. Oh, no. Yeah. Well, you got to throw salt in his eye. I'm hiding behind. All right. So we have it. So, but it's not just Shannon and cash. I believe, Ryan, it willy-cali Stein is going to be there. Yes. Yeah. Who else? I'll just have willy-fight him. Khalil Whitney. Khalil Whitney is going to be there. Yeah. There's a chance. It'll be several former UK football and basketball players there for like meet and greets. So that's Friday night. Where is it Friday? I should know this. The alumni center. So Friday night at the

alumni center, OVW, good chance to bring out your family. And there will be lots of former UK players there. Cash will be wrestling. Shannon is going to get beat up. And then there's going to be willy and other people there. And they they may even be involved in somehow. I don't know. I'm going to probably stop by and yell at some people. So that is Friday night. If you're looking for Pope pre Florida game entertainment. Also Friday, a remote at dawn, excuse me, at Paul Miller Ford, we will have Sissy Cakes. Yeah. Sissy Cakes makes their debut drew in Lexington Friday at our remote. Looking forward to that one. Like going on at that remote had that on the calendar for a while. And I will definitely be skipping breakfast Friday morning. So I can eat as much as Sissy Cakes as possible. And some of those guys are going to be at the remote, right? Jasper and Melika. Jasper and Malachi. Yes. They'll be there. Do you know how happy Ryan's going to be that Jasper is there? Both my both my boys are there and sons. So Jasper and Malachi will be at

at the remote Friday. So like going on in Lexington on Friday, Jasper Malachi during the day, Willie Cash Shannon at night. I would love to see that poster. Just if those guys and then they're Shannon going, I'm going to ask Blueground plays. Blueground plays in Saturday night in Lexington. Lexington Saturday. We're at 10 roof Saturday night. I'm going to stay in Lexington all weekend. Yeah. Oh, I'm make I may make a 10 roof appearance. What time do you play seven seven till about 10 30, I think all the games it for though, right? I could do the post game show though. Let's go. You know if we win, I might go do the post game show outside. Wow. You should do that. If we if we lose, I'll I'll come after. But that would be funny. All right. Well, that's that is an exciting weekend. Might be social for the first time in a long time. The high school regional start. Well, I think what I'm sorry, but a lot are tonight, Ryan, games all over the place.

You and I are going to go with Mario. Drew, I don't have you haven't heard if you're going yet. Are you going to the third table? I'm unable to go. I go to Middlesbrough, but can't make the game. All right. So that was supposed to be a surprise show, but well done. Yeah, drop it. Yes, drop it. Okay. Oh, my bad. There we go. Did you get it? Yeah. Okay. Sorry about that. I remind me to take it out of the podcast. Take it out of the podcast. All right. Ryan and I are going to the 13th region tournament on Wednesday night to see to see 13th region games. You excited about that, Ryan. We fell in love with the 13th region tournament a couple of years ago and they let us do some color commentary and play by play down there. I love it. I love the fact where it is. The arena, the Corbin arena. You told me that Pineville even won the district for like the first time I haven't played in the regional tournament since like, who knows? They're in it in Bell County. And we're going to go both about that. So we will be in Corbin, Wednesday night. So just I like how they bring those big cul trucks out at the entrance for the players for region 13. Remember, they'd run through those with the lights. They run through the culprits set up. Yeah. So we will be there Wednesday night. All right. Let's go to Todd. Go ahead, Todd.

Hey, man. I was just touching up on what you and you were talking about, uh, having JQ back or Cam Williams. And I mean, if I want to come back, it'd be the lottery fix. Jaden Quayton, I mean, uh, Cam Williams, I mean, our guards are playing so good. Our now it'd be nice to have more, but we have four big we have four bigs for two positions. And we really have three guards for three positions. I get that. But I mean, the less I see, Brandon Garrison, the better. Yeah. I mean, I know what you mean, but like we have really no consistent reserves in the back court. Don't you think having one would be helpful? I mean, you're, yeah, you're right. I mean, let's just get them both back. How's that? All right. Did Shannon tells me that you call with fake names, Todd? That he's accusing you of that. Is that true? The first time I called, the first time I called was, uh, the post game detected. And there was like three Michaels. And I was like, well, I'm just going to say my

middle name. So, uh, that's what I did. Does that, does that satisfy your question, Shannon? Well, I mean, he's not the only one. A lot of people seem to have identity crisis when they call in. I mean, because the thing is when people call, we can see, we can see your name. Yeah, and I ask you what your name is. And there's like, but we can see it. Yeah. Like it comes up. I'm Fred and then the name that comes up is Mike. I'm like, what did you do? Mike? Are you Fred? Or who are you? Do you know who you are? Yes, I do. I'm putting a hundred on cash Daniels on Friday. I can't see. I like that. Now, you tie them on your side. How does it come out and say my name's Todd? I'm not really saying it. Let's go to Howie. Howie, go ahead, Howie. Yes, um, I just wonder if you had any thoughts or ideas on when, uh, Mitch Vaughnhart might be time. I mean, things can happen. I mean, maybe maybe this week or next week. So eight five nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven

text machine is seven seven two seven seven four five two five four. I think we'll be interesting whenever it is that Mitch Vaughnhart were to make a decision to to leave. I think Ryan, the real question is what comes next? Right. I mean, to me, that's the question. Do you hire within? Do that? Would they already know who the person is going to be? Do you do a search around the country? To me, the day Mitch Vaughnhart leaves and I think Mitch Vaughnhart has done an amazing job at Kentucky over the course of his career, but the day he leaves, the main question to me is, okay, what's next? I think the day he leaves, you take a minute to celebrate what has been the longest serving AD in UK's history and a very successful one. And then you go, okay, but what's next? That to me is the most important question. Yeah, not just the longest AD in UK history. He's the longest AD currently in the Southeast and Conference. He's had unbelievable success. That's a big chair to fill whoever they go out and hire. You know, when CM Newton left,

they did hire with him and Larry Ivy. Then when Larry Ivy left, they had they went outside and got Mitch. So it's, it seems like almost need to bring somebody from the outside for a breath of fresh air a lot of times, but not this time. He's done a great job getting set in the table. What do you mean not this time? I think this time he's, guys, he's done such a great job setting the table. Maybe one of his people within would just be able to step in and continue what he's been able to do. That's what you would do. That's probably what I would do. Yeah. Well, when that conversation comes, we'll talk about it. Who's out. Let's go to Derek. Go ahead, Derek. Hey, Matt. Just calling with the fact related to that thing last week with the scotus.net guy or whatever in the poker games. Yes. There's a movie called Molly's Game. I've seen it. The story about it. I've seen it. Yeah. And Peter Parker, I guess, Toby McGuire. I guess he's one of the main characters. The reference scene on that movie is so I wonder if this guy played any role in that. But secondly, I was just going to ask, are you going to watch the world baseball classic? I think I will. I mean, I appreciate the call. I never totally understand with the world

baseball classic, like some of the guys play some of them don't. But I do think when you get a big game, when you get like Japan versus the United States or the Dominican Republic versus the United States, I do find it very entertaining. And so yeah, I'll probably, probably watch it. I don't think any of the Reds are playing. But Drew, will you watch the world baseball classic? Yeah, if the Americans get into big game, I will. Sometimes I come off as a baseball hater, but it's just the length of the season. Any, you know, play offs or any meaningful game, Olympics, something like the world baseball classic. I'll absolutely tune in. Yeah. I'm, she and I've already looked like the Reds are probably winning 110. Oh, really? Oh, based off what? Well, I mean, the lineup. Oh, I mean, they're hitting. Oh, are they? Matt McLean had two McBangs last yesterday. He needs to have a really big game. Yeah. Yeah. You're basing this off spring training. Oh, spring training is crucial. Yeah.

So he probably got those hits off a guy that was in double label. Yeah, but he hit it so hard. Yeah. Well, you know, it's, this is the summer of Ellie. Oh, yeah. Leading into the, to the, the rise of Sal. Do you know what the, do you know what their win total is on draftings? I think if 108. No, you should definitely bet it. If you think it's going to be 180, it's 81. So, I mean, you got to be pushing there. That's 500. That's 500. Oh, over. We're winning. Dodgers need to watch out. There's got all kinds of guys. And they got Brady Singer. You got to watch out for him. I've got all the bobble head days. They're having a Harry Potter day. I'm skipping that one. Yeah. Stop overpaying for sunglasses. John Pelfrey has been dismissed as the coach of the Tennessee Tech basketball team. They're the first team to make a change here in the college basketball season.

They will not be their last. Sad to see that Ryan. He's not done very well there. That is a very difficult job. But Pelfrey is out at Tennessee Tech. I haven't followed Tennessee Tech. I guess I assume they've must have had a bad season. But you know, when he was a South Alabama, he was as a coder named as anybody. Then he goes dark and tall. Then they have any success. Assistant coach again for a long time. Got this second chance to be a head coaching job. So he's running out of options, I think. I run out of time to maybe finally win a good head coaching job. Yeah. Sorry to see that. I like John. But you know, you got to win. And you're right. He did a great job to start his career. But through something that really hasn't gone very well. You know, Kentucky beat them by 50 this year. Maybe some responsibility. Maybe. Maybe a little bit on UK. I know. That was really the game that did him in. But yeah, it was cool. We got that moment to come back here. You can't have that. Even though the season didn't go well for him. That's too bad. One person writes, Matt,

you and Shannon should know that you guys were the top topic of the Southland group text yesterday. Oh, really? Someone admitted to listening, although everyone else said they didn't. And so everyone is wondering what you said, even though they can't turn it on. Yeah, we may need to do you know how in, you know how Shannon and they were in war at places. Back in the cold war, we would like send radio signals into Russia with our propaganda. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Would you do that to the church or say? Yeah, I don't know how you do that, though. How do we send like Morse code to the Southland church members? About what's going on. Yeah. They can read the transcript of the show. That wouldn't be the same. Would it? There's listening. Oh, that's interesting. It's not because everything on there said listen. Yeah. If you go to the I hard app and go on there, you can read the transcript of the show. Oh, that's interesting. Yeah. Oh, Lupo. I also heard through the Great Mind.

The Southland ministers like you have alphan. I've never booed a minister, but I think we should boo for them. Now, I'm sure he's a wonderful guy. But you think that could have you that could have something to do with it drew going into March. Yeah. I got to be careful here. I don't want to say anything inappropriate. But yeah, that does raise some concerns. Also, tuning out a Kentucky show this time of year. Yes. With your Louisville leader, fishy. I'm just saying. I'm very fishy during the I walked by like five Catholic churches on my walk Friday night. You want to talk about something they love their fish fries on Fridays during Lent. Those are parties. Yeah, Louisville. I walked by literally maybe not five, but three or four, and they were shanning. There were people everywhere. I'm not even Catholic. I go to the fish fries just to party with them. During Lent? Yeah. Did you go this week? No, but I have in the past pull tabs and beer and fish.

Come on. Man, it's fun. I don't know where Ben, but they talk about it like it's spring break. Yes, they do. But what it was like, is that I'm for it. Like have a good reason to have fun. But is that does that Easter related? It's like, let's do pull tabs. Was that in was that in Isaiah? Did I not read that verse? Yeah, Jesus was big on the lottery back in the day. The love of the lottery gambler. Yeah. Well, anyway, it was the fish look good. I almost went like it's in the New Testament. You should look it up. Well, I don't have that when I'm for it. Newest Testament. Okay. Austin. Go ahead. Austin. Hey, Matt, can you hear me? Yes. Hey, I wanted to comment on the JQ potential return. I have a quick, you know, a couple of points I wanted to hit. Quickly, quickly. Yeah. Number one. So like, you got a guy and listen, I'm all for it. If you want to come in and contribute and and help the team win, I'm all for it.

But you've got a guy who theoretically hasn't done anything in what? Mother has two months. And then he comes into a game just out of nowhere and he's expected to perform and it's good level, right? And it's going to be against a really good team. So like, I'm with you. That's why I don't think it's that big thing. What's your second thing real quick? Yeah. So like, you know, within that rotation, like you put him in and really, it's just, it just needs to be for Malcon to get like a little break and then putting back in because in the reality, he's just not going to be used to the defensive rotation. I agree with him. I appreciate the call. That's why for me came to bigger deal because what he does is not as easily replicated. Let's go to Ben. Go ahead, Ben. Hey, Matt. So I just want to say with all the Jane Quayton stock, I agree with the Cam Williams idea. But my question is, what's the chance that Jane Quayton's could return next season for a while?

Zero, I would think zero. I would think zero. Really? He will get picked in the first round. And if he's already been injured once, Drew, I just don't know that you can, you can risk it again. Would you? No, no, no, and he slipped a little bit on like a mock draft, maybe two yesterday, but he's still in that lottery conversation, even if he's sliding a little bit. I mean, someone will definitely take him in the first round. He had a chance to go fourth or fifth. Now he might go 10 through 15, but I would be shocked if he got taken after that. You still take it. Yeah, if you're Jaden Quayton, you still go if you're 10 to 15, you slip a little bit, but you're still going to take that. That's what I would do. Let's go to Matt. Go ahead, Matt. Hey, guys. Yes, I'm first time caller. I live in Louisiana and I've got some friends that I work with or heading over to college station tonight. And I wondered if you got there taking their son for a birthday. Yes. I believe he's 12 or 13. And I wonder if you guys

had any advice for some first time fans going to their first game of college station? Well, first of all, first time road game is the most fun if you win. And remember, if we win, if you go down to the next to the UK bench, usually the team and the players will come out and greet the fans and you actually can get some pretty good access. So if we win, do that as far as college station, it is hard to park there. So make sure they get there early. And there is a there's a place that everybody goes and you probably need to go early to get there. It's like burgers and barbecue. It's like the campus spot probably four or five blocks from the arena. It'll be a lot of people. But the food is really good. And it goes quick. And I wish I could give you the name. Somebody will give it to me on the text machine. But I hot somebody told me that place. And I highly recommend it. I can't I can't somebody will write it for me. But but it is and I appreciate call. It can be hard to park there because it's on campus. And it's kind of like hidden. We're not hidden, but it's just it's not an easy place to get in and out of. So just be prepared

to get there early and probably walk. People who've gone down there said Texas A&M fans are the best in the SEC. They are. Yeah, they they were good when I was there. And I was there. Like I said, 20 22, I think. And it was a blast. 8 5 9 2 8 0 2287. We will take a break. Come back. Our number two lot to to get to, including what's the SEC tournament look like for Kentucky.
