Bought the bomb! Now, here it is. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to my underground lair. Do not attempt to adjust your doubt. I'm transmitting live with the hall for a staff. And now, ladies and gentlemen, for your further listening pleasure. Bandily down some serious sounds. Watch your bass bins, I'm telling you. Ah, yes, welcome, welcome, welcome. Some factory radio, cleverly entitled number 473. Right ear on your favourite drum and bass intellect station.
So this is the first show for me in 2026. I'm fortunate I couldn't do the last show. I wasn't feeling too well, but feeling a bit better now. Yeah, so 2026. But towards the end of January, it's pretty bleak and gloomy over this part of the world. So hope inside this drum and bass is going to lift things up just a little bit. Always a difficult time of the year. You've had all the festivities, all the Christmas and the new year and all that jazz. The new year starts. And for us over here. And this part of the world. That's all a bit dark and it's a bit dreary and it's a bit cold. But no matter what the weather's like, we've always got a bit of drum and bass to help us through.
To hold us up while things are dark. A bit like a bit of scaffolding. So lots and lots has happened since I last spoke to you. Obviously we've had Christmas, we've had new year. We've had the lovely Lady Light Reenies birthday. We've also had my birthday. And 2026. It only marks 20 years of sub factory radio. Call Blimey, where does the tide go? So I'm not quite sure exactly how we're going to celebrate. But over the course of the next few shows we'll think up some stuff. One of the things I would like to do is to ask you for a little bit of help if I may. If you're a long time listener of sub factory radio or a new time listener. What I'm asking is, would you please just record me? You know, 10, 20, 30 seconds.
Of you saying, hi, my name is blah, blah, blah. And I really like sub factory radio and I've been listening to it for at least 10 minutes. But in the meantime, it's the depths of January. You're not planning anything right now. So it's going to be a little old me right here in the sub factory love kitchen with you and some drama bass. Hearts of feel, hearts of know, I know, the depths of January is a dark month for us over this part of the world. And with all the mad stuff that you see on your scrolling sessions on the news and elsewhere, all strange stuff going down.
But remember, it's just the backdrop to your schooling right here on planet earth. What you're going to do, you're going to go left, you're going to go right, you're going to go straight on. That's up to you. Because we do have freedom here on planet earth. Much that others may disagree. You have a choice. A choice between love or fear. Pick which one you want. It's entirely up to you. And that's the whole genius of this existence. So I'm choosing love obviously and draw on base. You know what I mean? Can't say fairer than that, can you?
