Steve Hopkins dug into what looked like a routine collapse and uncovered a 19th-century brick wine cellar packed with empty bottles. He spotted a void that led to an arched tunnel entrance, complete with debris, and black and glass from wine, port, and champagne. The bottles were all open and scattered across the floor, blocked by a boarded up doorway. The site ties back to Debi Home Hall, a manor house built by the home family in the 12th century, and demolished in 1888.
