Maggie's favorite quote from Dietrich Bonhoeffer is, “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.” This quote became her guiding principle during an intensely challenging time in her master's program when she was ostracized by her professors and fellow students due to her Christian beliefs and conservative values. However, she remained steadfast in her convictions, leading to an event that garnered national attention. Ultimately, through continual surrender to God's direction, she experienced incredible triumph.
