That's KAC, H-A-V-A.com code news. For some time, we'll keep you up to date on the other ball games being played. And there is a full schedule tonight in the American League. Chicago playing at Washington. They've completed two innings. They are slaughtered. Mark Johnson pitching for the Chicago White Shots and Jerry Genevsky, a former Chicagoan pitching for the Washington Senators. Minnesota is at Boston. Boston Red Shots breathing right down the next of the Baltimore Orioles. When trying to cool them off, and Minnesota leaves one to nothing at the end of one inning, Jim Scott who pitched the two hitters against the Aggies here at the stadium in his last shot, going tonight for Minnesota and Mike Nagy on New York Lad, pitching for the Boston Red Shots. Later tonight, Baltimore Kansas City, Cleveland at Oakland, and Detroit at Shuttle Point. The next play of Houston tonight, the fast and known in the National League, the Philadelphia City shut off the Chicago Sub's ones and everything, restarts pitching a five-hitter for the win.
Milk happens for the losing. Later tonight, San Diego at Sipford, San Francisco in Cincinnati, Montiolis St. Louis, and Los Angeles down in Atlanta. Right now, Steve Plan is ready to pitch to Tommy Harper, leading off for the Milwaukee Brewers, and ready to step in behind the microphone for all the play-by-play action ladies and gentlemen. Here is Phil Luzato. All right, thank you, Frank. And Tommy Hopper, not off to as good a shot as he had last year, hitting 205, right hand better. As Steve Plan is ready, his first pitch to the game is a little bit low ball one. So the ball game is on the way. I'm Deck Mike Egan. Tommy Hopper is 5'10 to weighs only 168, right hand better. Swing in a mission at front of block. Gary Kenny is in a third and Hopper tried to pull an outside pitch by Gary, which is always dangerous. Don't usually get good wood on that side pitch. He's looking for a pitch inside. And the Yankees want to keep him more safe.
He can really fly. The pitch is right in there straight forward. Hopper turns around and really argues with play-dump by a Merrill Anthony. He thought the pitch was low. I remember neither team had batting practice. Looks like it was going to rain and did rain earlier this evening, but it stopped just in time. Tommy Hopper had 77 stolen bases last year. He checked his wings. The ball gets away for months and then it's even at two and two. He had quite a year when you look at it, right? He certainly did. In 1969, he stole 73. Let's set a modern American leg record for sure. I was wrong. I was reading bass on both. He had 38 stolen bases. 77 more. Still. And 73 stolen bases over here before that. That's right. I hear the two two delivering. I and it's a both country and still. That's the first high pitch that's flying is thrown above the belt tonight.
9 out of 10 of his pitches are down around the knee. Now we've got the first pay off pitch of the night. And it did foul way out the front over the roof and right on Audi Yankee Stadium. Tommy batted 296 left. He had 82 runs batted in and 31 home runs. Again, the three two pitch bouncing well Kenny has a short hop. Why is the person is one off? As Danny Keta skipped across the bag, feeling it very well went with the throw. And he throw to the inside part of first face one out and now Mike Egan. Mike hitting 276 has a double at triple two homies and five runs batted in. Mike a left fan battle well built at all the tools.
Flying curved bounce to first face. They're well paid up and it's left to climb. He beefed he get in the race for the bag after losing his cap about 10 feet from first face. Well executed play by Danny Keta and C fly. We really have close quarters here tonight. Extra cameras in here for the game of the week tomorrow. Owns all over the place and a big felicit next to me Frank method. And now Johnny break. Well left fan batted a curve is in there strike one fall. Greg was acquired from the Philadelphia Phillies for Pete Kegel outfield of first face. And Ray Peters, a minor league pitcher. The next pitch is a swing in a file back strike two. I don't know what these phones are supposed to be. So I just said to one I wanted two hamburgers and a cold to go. They're ringing all over the place here. By the way, Johnny Briggs lives in Paterson, New Jersey in the garden state.
6195 pounds. And girls he is single. The pitch outside in high of ball and two strikes. Less you with the Phillies he batted 270 and 110 games. At nine home is in 47 runs batted in. The one two delivery a change up he's out of there. Try to check his length wouldn't do a beautiful pitch. By C sign. And the bro is good down in order. And the top of the first and at the end of one half inning of play. It's Milwaukee nothing the Yankees coming to back. Lockwood won his first start of the season, went all the way to be the Chicago Lightstocks 401. Last time out he was defeated and that was also by the Chicago Lightstock in a seven-to-one ballgame. Just a quick reminder that this program is authorized under rights
granted by the New York Yankees Colony, for the entertainment of all audience, and any publication, reproduction, or other use of the descriptions and accounts of this game, without the expression set of the New York Yankees' prohibitive. Our product, whether to take on Lockwood in your film. I, Frank Howard, betting 268. Four double-six runs batted in. We in at third, Tommy Hopper, the picture clock is in there, it's right one fall. Ship Lockwood 60-195 pounds. Born in Boston, I'll live at Norwood, Massachusetts. Frank Tody's nickname is Scott. That ball high and tight, one-on-one. Florida E. Lockwood Jr. And his hobby is golf. Not a bad hobby. The one-one picture curve inside ball 2-2-1. No score in the bottom of the first. On deck, German luncheon.
Right hand away. Low and inside ball 3-3-1. After the first pitch Hopper has pulled back at third base. So hard clock with a 3-1 count on. The pitch is right down the middle. They had clock taking all the way. Howard has 11 walks this year. And that's the most for any Yankee player, which is unusual. Because Howard is using the last one and more. That's brass block. So Howard gets his brass block at the year. And the Yankee has had their first base runner at the night and he has German luncheon. And I understand German will be leaving us for a couple of weeks on and off, Frank. Going for other players to get their military. That's right. Craving the coffee flavor you love. And a little huddle with Ted Kudy, active second basement in Skitlapwood. As Mike Hagen comes over the whole clock at first, Horace has two stolen bases on the air. Months and batting 180. Nine hits and 50 at bats. One homestead and runs battered in. Nobody else. It's really strange when you're seeing your team for the first time in a long, long time. Fits a month and is low ball one. This Kid Lockwood got a good bat ball. He came on strong, the latter part of the 1970s. In one three out of his last four starts. This ball is live, Frank, it really moves. And that could be his problem right now early in the game. Clock leads away. The pitch is low again, ball two. Two and nothing. L.A. Rodriguez. Got it in a big league career with the Yankees.
On deck, Roy White, who now goes back to check his bat, might have a little chippin' it. Lockwood, a big league, the pitch is low again, ball three. Lockwood having problems. That is strange, Bill, and now West Starts, the pitching coach is going to run out to try to settle him down. It's strange as Kid who's ball or any pitcher, not necessarily, could any pitcher who's ball really moves like that. Very often, we'll have trouble early in a ball game, until he gets just a little bit tired. And he gets his rhythm. And when you get a little bit tired, and you're not over strong, your ball will go away. You want it right now. It's really dipping and sailing. Three and nothing on months, and Ferman will be taking all the way on this one. Those flocks will have to be careful out there. He won't be going any place on this pitch. The three-oh pitch is low for us.
So, two walks in a row by, Kid Lockwood and the Yankees have something going. As Roy White is about us. Roy hitting three-twenty-one. This would have to upset Dave Bristol, now the Milwaukee Brewer Monitor. He knows the Yankees like to go to that running game. They'll go to it as soon as they get mad on. He's got to have that in mind, and no walking must be kind of swabbed necessarily that can come back from an early dubstep to the ball. I think the runners lead away to pitch is in there, strike one ball. And the Yankees were outstanding speed on the basis. And at the plate, Clark is second, months in his first, and White the batter. And on deck, Bobby Mercer. So, the first four Yankees can really fly. Nobody out, no score. The picture white is a trip. Bounce-file author's foot. I was in front of the plate. Played on player Merle Anthony, want you to look at it and keep it in place. By the way, Johnny Stevens, on firing down a third base.
Quite a story. He's supposed to be retired. But he is replacing Larry Barnett, who was also serving military reserve duty this weekend. Oh, even the umpires are in there, doing their bit for their country. All right, the runners lead off first and second. Ready for the two strike pitch. Luke's in the left center field, moving over Dave May to his right. He's there, makes the pass. And bluffing, going the third is pot, he draws the throw, but then goes back. Goes one out in the battle, Bobby Murthos. And what a start, Bobby is that. Then about 56 times, 25 hits, has scored 11 runs, four doubles, two triple, three homies, 12 runs batted in, and four stolen bases. So he leads the Yankees in many categories, coming in in the 19th. Mark Phillips, second. Lunch in at first.
But stretch, look at the runner. His commercial is the strike on the inside corner. On deck, Danny Kater. Dave May, over in right center field on Mercer. That's the Bobby, the curved bounce foul of his foot. The inside part of his right foot, kicks back to the wall. Bobby Murthos is second in batting in the American league. And actually, the fella ahead of him is Tony Oliva, new stance in all. The driver, Oliva's hitting, I think, three-mighty-seven runs with both of the 400 marks. And kid Ralph Garb, for Atlanta Lee's images, of four, 12, four 12. All right, Mercer's in there. Now, suddenly Lockwood is finding the play. He was ahead of Roy White. Got him to play out. He's ahead of Mercer, all in two. His curved, curved swing foul at the plate.
Well, bounced up and hit Bobby. The brewery's yelling that it hit Mercer out of the box. But Merle Anthony says no. Had it hit Bobby out of the box and get there, so he would have been out. Very seldom see that happen. You'll see it once in a while on a butt attempt. That is trying to get out of the box in a hurry. Lunch and leisure first, clock off second, no score bottom of the first. Oh, quick pick and make the hit, when Oliva's here, Oliva there is John Drake. And Drake makes the catch. And I take a Lockwood quick pick to that time, Bobby had to be ready, did get a piece of the ball. And that brings up Danny Kater. Danny hitting 253, two double and four runs bad in it. Danny could also have a real slow shot, but he has steadily been picking up. 19 hits and 75 at that. On deck fully bail loose. Clockwood now looking at it's picking hand,
and shaking a little bit, and I'll go to the Roger bag. And you get a lot of pitches who have fender fingers, and subject to blister. Little early in the night, to be getting a blister. High clock leaves off second, lunch and all first. Fisticated swing and a foul back. Right one. So it took Lockwood two hitters. Lock and lunch and he walks both of them. Hitters control and he's got it now. Royov and a pitcher comes into a ballpark for the first time in the season. Well, not necessarily just the first time, but takes that mound. It's a lot different than drawing on the sidelines. You have to get used to the mound. They're all supposed to be the same height and everything, but each one is just a little bit different. Right. Round ball right at the short stop. Up with it is now back over to the second, and it's going to be out for the fourth play. Here by our back to dead, to be out and for the Yankees,
no runs, no hits, no errors, two man left. At the end of one pulling it, no walking, nothing in the Yankees, nothing. Nothing is more important to the life of your engine than the oil you put in. We're wondering about what are the walking ball, but they all they have to be fine. Young coaches, the kids girls awkward who is taking the night, Marchie Paton and Jim Flayton. They will be going hand to the sinkish on Sunday by jump and with Franklin over there they'll be willing to deal in. Here is Dave May hitting 268 four doubles of triple and six runs batted in. May left hand batter. Steve Klein's first six is a curve in there strike one call. Dave May 510 and a half 186 pounds. A new castle of Delaware. What's that that straight up and down? Let's go think of it. Nothing in due. On deck. Bill Vaughn. Go climb ahead of the first hit of here in the top of the second. No score. A bounce there over the picture's head, upward at one hand at Michael. Flip quickly to first one off.
You, Michael, continuing to do an outstanding job at shortstop for the Aggie? And it brings up still another left-hand batter, Bill Vaughn. From Glendale, California, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds. Left-hand batter throws left-handed. A man studying for a teaching degree. Takes a pitch-eye ball one. Vaughn's right now batting 214-9 for 42. One homer, three runs battered in. He was with the white sun and with the California angels. He takes a strike on the inside 4-1-1. Vaughn holds the ball out in front. Get this time. It's bouncing forward in the hole. Backhand abyscated. Close the climb. They got a off-road man to play by Danny Kater and Steve Zine again.
I want to tell you, Kater took a base hit away from Vaughn, going far to his right back-handed, threw quickly the climb, let him beautifully, and flying close the ball about 10 feet from the begs, and just continued on the first, losing his cap again. Two pretty picture plays, turned over by Danny Kater and Steve Zine. The other two are on the batter, Ted Kubiak. Kubiak hitting 269. A double two triples and four runs battered in, and he takes a strike on the outside corner. Kubiak is a switch hit or I believe at least he used to be. Six feet tall, 175 pounds. Isn't he from New Jersey, too? He looks at one up. The pitch on the outside corner, strike two four. Right, new Brunswick New Jersey, he was born in, he now lives in
Waukesha, Wisconsin. What do I say that writer? Is it Waukeshaw? The two strike fits long away, a ball and two strikes. You left Mr. Waukeshawney. You have to have Mr. Waukeshawney out of production, I don't know. The one two delivery is filed back up stairs out of place, and then Brunswick's all the way back down on the field. No clients staying ahead of the hitters, curve in the dirt back handed by a monster. He isn't switch hitter. Do two curve bounce far all in back of the plate? Kubiak has two strikes, two out, nobody on. No score, top of the second.
You try and get the new ball. Now, Waukesh got some pretty good speed and also some pretty good power. But do two tricks, far ground ball, pass rock in the right field of ace set. That ball skips the rest of the dirt as Harris is going to his left, just when bias outstretched and has the first place into the ball game. He had Kubiak picking up his 18th hit of the year, it brings up Ellie Rodriguez. Ellie also a fine start hitting 3-10 as two doubles, three runs batted him. Two men are out. He had a hold to back against Kubiak. Kubiak has no stolen base. Dread by Klein is curve in the strike one call.
On deck, Rick Owlbach. Climb to the belt. The pitch is a curve low, one ball one strike. In 26 and two faired innings of pitching, Klein has warped only six men, if he had quick brought up her, Kubiak back. Ellie Rodriguez from the Bronx. Gattos the Yankee Stadium, the curve is high, two balls in the strike. 5-1,185 pounds, but don't mess with Ellie. He fought in the golden globe for quite a while. He didn't really handle himself. And Ellie's just nice to get as you'd want to meet.
Kubiak leaves the way. Dread by Klein. The pitch on the outside corner, good pitch by Steve Klein. Two balls, two strikes and two outs. Klein hides the ball and back of him as he looks for the sign. There goes the run of the curve. It's bound to serve a penny's up where they will have to go to first. And plenty of time, Florida goers, no runs on a base hit, no errors in a man left. And at the end of an inning and a half, it's no walking, nothing in the Yankee is nothing. And now here's John Burd with Bill Hining. They're doing their vote thing for Shaper Beer.
Shaper is the best move for people to vote every month. Shaper is the one to vote when your Ellie is voting for the vote. to have what you're having more than one. So this good shape up is pretty good picture tool between these two young right-handers. The flying and the skip lockwood. Good, very well. Lockwood now has seen to find the range and he'll be facing Philippe Aloe, a low-hitting two fifty, a double three homies and six runs batted in. Well, there was no lucky girl who came in and got the Yankees started last year. The Yankees took four games often.
Just about the same time last year and they're in for four games. The first pitch to Aloe was a curve bounce in the hole to his left up with a one-handed hopper. Fire's the first one off. Nice play by Tommy Hopper. It didn't appear to be a difficult chance, but it was right in the hole he had to go far to his left. It brings up Jerry Kenny, Jerry hitting two sixty-seven. No extra base, it's one run batted in. Hopper moves way in at third now. Very Kenny beat out a beautiful bunch, as Tommy was used as a pincher. One man out. The outfield moves in now on Kenny. Lockwood ready. That's well and Kenny has to jump out of the way, ball one. He's Kenny, you hit a lot of bone, he's built like a greyhound. The one-o delivery is taken first strike and that was a good fast fall.
One-o-one. No score bottom of the second. Lockwood wants another sign. Get this from Rodriguez. Very short wind up. That's what he bought. Little hard. We'll be back up with a throw for first in time. Just a little bit hard. That was a Mickey Mantle time. Craving the coffee flavor you love. And right now, we'll be throwing the ball around. This is the New York Yankee Baseball Network, and we pause for a station identification. This is D-5th, your contact host. Call us weeknights from 8 to midnight. Here on the fresh air sound of Radio 81, W-G-Y's connectivity. R-I-G Michael, the six takes a pitch high and say ball one. He ain't having a fine year, hitting 292. He has three doubles and nine runs batted in. He's gotten a lot of fudge hits for the Yankee Baseball. Two out, nobody on, no score, bottom of the second, on deck Steve Klein.
Lockwood kicks delivers just right down the middle, strike balls. No third yet, the mail right on the head. Last year in the Brewer's team in, the Yankees were three games under 500. When the Brewer's left out, the Yankees were one game above 500. And that's the exact same thing right now, am I right? Right, right. Seven and seven. All right, we'll history repeat inside two balls in a strike. Brewer's had a couple of long ball hit his set on the bench tonight. And he had to go and Danny wasn't. That's right. And they'll be in some of these games and they really got caught. Let's pass goal one time with the Yankees and the Dodges. The pitch is a check clean, it's slow. Ball three. Wait, pass goal was the last player. If you're at Yankees Stadium, they've got a ball out there into the left field bleachers, wasn't it? Yeah. Or maybe wasn't one. Well, they both did. Well, pass goal did it while he was with the Yankees. Walden of course, for the Brewer's. The 3-1 pitch, Michael's taken all the way doing some set-up exercises trying to get a wall, but it's right down the middle.
They were the last two, Walden was the last one, cost goal next to the left. Right? That's close enough. And they hit those towering high flying balls that just carried the payoff pitch. Bob Jeff's right near the 50s mound. Tommy Hopper comes in. Their play between Hormons third makes the catch. And the Yankees are out of there in order. And at the end of two full inning, it's Milwaukee, nothing in the Yankees, nothing. Here's Pete Wretslaff for today's United States Army. As General Manager of the Philadelphia Eagles Football Club, it's my job to consider a lot of options, especially in recruiting the best potential pro-prospect. Well, today's United States Army has a great new option. High school graduates should consider. It's called the European duty and list mid-option. If you enlist now for three years in the armor, artillery or infantry, and successfully complete a four-month training program in the United States, you're off to Europe for a full 16-months tour of duty.
And your 30-days paid vacation a year gives you the opportunity to travel all over Western Europe. So if you'd like the opportunity to see Europe as few tourists do, see your Army representative for further information about a complete tour of duty under the new European enlistment option. Today's Army wants to join you. For the location of your nearest Army representative, call 800-243-6000-told-free. I asked Ken Harald from once who all was talking about him. He said, I really do it. We call attention to myself. He said, the kids identify with me. He said, the young fans identify with me, and he said, they like it, so I do it. Well, that's not a bad idea. I said you, as copied from him, I sent scooters. Look at the red sweatshands now that they use the tentative.
Okay. And I think kids like to copy your professional athletes. Great blackberry words. Oh, no kidding? Well, you wear those sweatshands. All right, here's Rick Albach. Just 21-years-old takes a strike. Now, this kid was just 21 on February 15th. They nicknamed him reindeer. And the Merrill Hanman and John Collins, the announcers for Milwaukee, was telling me he can fly. Well, it's a bad ride in front of him. Just bunches of the ball is a chance to see him. Michael throws, and he just do get him. Oh, he's got down that line. Very close play, but a fine play by G. Michael, who must have read up on this, because he didn't waste a fraction of a second getting rid of that ball. He hit one off the end of the bat. And he does have a unique batting stand. Just a short choppy stroke. Let him go down to first base. He gets those knees away up in the air. He's pumping. All right, his skip lock went. Our back was hitting 217.
Lockwood follows the first base go up. He's running 181. He's too far left. No, we don't see these fellas too often, but I thought I remember this as another kid who did not start out as a pitcher. But maybe I'm wrong. I don't know. That's the boys. Brown ball hits the second base. Lock comes in up with it. Throws the first. And there's two out. Did I hear somebody say I'm right? You're right, Bill. No kiddin'. Tell me more, Frank. Not often, I'm right. I always know how right I am. Oh, you're right. You're right, both of us. All right. There are two away and a tummy hopper who bounced the third is first time up. You man, I had nobody on. No score. Top of the third. Hopper with the back, way back. Wing bounces one to third. It goes far.
One of my lockwoods a minute ago wasn't until he's a fifth year in professional ball, but he started stitching. Ah-ha. Blind ready. The one strike takes a bounce at a third base. Kenny backhand did, but it's foul. Two strikes. Two outs. Two strikes. All right, Roy McMillan, coaching at first. Count Ermer at third for the brewers. It's a curve low and outside. One ball, two strikes. Roy McMillan was a pretty fair country shot top for the Cincinnati Reds. He placed them to the metal. The one two page hit high in the air and left in a bobby merchant going back. That's way up there. Bobby's under it and makes the catch.
Though Klein retires the brewers in order at the top of the third and at the end of two and a half, it's Milwaukee nothing in the Yankees nothing. What would you think of a restaurant that guaranteed good food? It's a good restaurant. It's a good restaurant. It's a good restaurant. It's a good restaurant. What would you think of a restaurant that guaranteed good service or your money back? You'd be ahead of the game either way, right? Well, that's pretty much what happens with arco red ball dealer service. You're ahead of the game whether you get it or not. All right, we'll take another look at Young Skip Lockwood. He played third basing shortstop as I recall. He played some third basing Kansas City. About too many years ago, what about 65, I'm going to say? You know, I remember he looked like a pretty good hitter when we faced an odd Milwaukee. All right, here's not a bad hitting. But he's a young Steve Klein. Right now he's just one for eight, batting 125, but he swings about pretty well. And he takes a strike right down the middle. And it is Lockwood is sneaky fast. He doesn't rear back and fire the ball, but it really zipped in that.
The next big fastball right in there, strike two. He's trying to take a two fastball just above the knee. The two strike pressure curve hit. And it's a base hit. So Lockwood got two fastballs by. Keep flying, try to curve them. And speed line to shot. Test the shortstop. Get ball back into center field. The first Yankee hit of the ball game.
And our hearts clock will walk this first time up. No score this ball game. Where does your charge fall? Just two blasts on the organ. Flying leads off first. It's the clock is low ball wide. Remember Lockwood's walk goes clock in luncheon in the first inning. But they were stranded in not advance. Flying leads away. The pitch is low ball too. Doing nothing. Flying with the jacket on at first base. Mike Egan playing in back of them. Hopper is shortened up at third. And they've shortened up at short in second. They know they've got a heart to look at a DP of clock hits and on the ground. The curve is inside ball three.
Two balls, no strike. Nobody out here, bottom of the third. Firm in lunch and on deck. Well, Lockwood again having trouble with clock. He comes to the belt. The pitch is high and tight well for a clock well for the second time in the ball game. That in itself is a rarity with our clock with this. Your heart is really looking the pitch is over. And now Dick has a call. Firm in lunch and down the line. And they want to check signs to make sure they don't miss the possible sacrifice signs. Well, they did sign. Firm in walk is first time up. Frank Messer had mentioned earlier. They just put it up on the big store board at the Yankees. I've asked in Frank, Teppadino, to Syracuse. The stretch months and squares to Bunt take to La Holoki to throne right away.
They're the head client. He waited too long. Rodriguez held the ball. Bunt's line had broken for a third. And was at least halfway down. The curve was in the dirt. And I'd Rodriguez thrown right away. Climb would have been a dead duck. And as we mentioned many times, it's a tough play for the runner at second. He sees they hit a square around. And you've got to be leaning for a third to make it. And Gerk's lines would not reverse himself in time. But he did get back. That was the ball of Martin. The pitch inside ball too. So that was a big break for the New York Yankees. Mine drove back hit first. So he got to get made for effort for hustling back. A lot of Yankees stadium dirt on his uniform in jacket. Yankees brought up Gary Jones, a left hand pitcher. And Tepadino had to be sent down. The Yankees would have been won over the limit.
I tune up in on Monday. The pitch determined. A curve gets away from Rodriguez. And the runners will advance. Flying goes to third. Blocked his second. It's a pass ball. George to Rodriguez. There was a curve ball. And wasn't that far outside when the reforced up. Rodriguez and not. We see Ellie talking to him now. He was looking for a pass ball. And the ball broke. And it was just about six inches away from him. But he couldn't get to it. It's three and nothing on Martin. The two batters that Mark Wood had trouble pitching to in the first inning. He wore both of them. Four pitches. As a three and nothing count now on Monday. Line a third. Blocked his second. Nobody else. On deck. Where are we? Time closed. Months and kept looking at Dick Hauser.
Now Merrill Anthony. The plate on fire said, all right, play ball. Mark Wood pitching from a stretch position. The pitch is low. Blocked four on eight pitches. Blocked and once in a row. And now the base is loaded. And the batter, where are we? Anthony wants to take a look at that base ball. He's going to throw it out of play. Now, strange is it may sound. This has been a difficult situation for the Yankees. Base is loaded and nobody out. For some reason or other early in the year, they have had their troubles scoring a run. Now, score a lot of easy with two out and nobody out sometimes. All right, base is loaded. White fluid is sent a field first time observe inside ball wide. Mark Wood now having his problems and sending the aimable out a little more than throwing naturally. Bobby Mercer on deck.
He infielders back and double play depth. Re-runers lead away. Nobody out. No score to pitch swing in a minute. One of mine. They're going to get the rope in going out. John Gilnar and Larry Bernard start warming up in the middle. Well, not the old nut pitcher. Yes. All right, the stretch. Derb checks wing and adjust inside and lockwood one of that one. Two balls in a strike. Doing one on Roy White. And Roy is asking somebody to move. I don't know whether he's asking Quantum or he would be the only one in his line of vision. But two one pitch is hit in the air to right side of the field coming on. Dave May makes the catch. Klein said the throw is coming to third. They'll get nobody. The ball gets away. But over there to back up his lockwood. And going to second base. Sherman Munchen heads up play by Munchen.
Once the ball was thrown over the second base and head. It went between home and third. And luckily Skip Lockwood was over there. It's a sacrifice slide to the center field or run batted in as deep Klein scores. And the error is charged to the center fielder. Dave May allowing Klein and Munchen to advance. So Bobby Mercer will be the batter. Yankees out in front, running up. Run as his second and third, the curve is low to Mercer ball one. And now the infield looking at their manager Dave Bristol. He has pulled in right side of the infield, could be axed. And he can offer as even with the bag. But the dress stop all about is about halfway.
And they're going to put him on. They're going to load him up an intentional walk to Bobby Mercer. And they'll catch the Danny Cater. And this will be the fourth walk. Make that the fifth walk given up by Skip Lockwood. He walks two in the first three here in the third. One intentionally. And now Dave Bristol is coming out to the mile for the manager of the Cincinnati Reds. He's got to Gilmar and now Dick Ellsworth warming up out on the bullpen. They just started. He's trying to buy a little time, I believe, Phil. I'm sure he is. And now play don't buy a Merle Anthony was slowly walk out. And those don't buy as well as the picture. Let her know just before the on fire gets there.
Bristol's still talking Anthony gets to the mount. As our fellows let's break it up. So Bristol would like to see his young right hand or work himself out of the chair. I couldn't do him a lot of good. No doubt about it. So Lockwood goes to the rise and back. Danny Cater bounced to the shortstop his first time up. Surprise me that Dave made in that throw hole. Maybe he didn't realize it. I forgot that Steve Klein was unfair in the picture. And the ball was not hit that deep. By Freeman on Merle Munson and Clark. To replicate a swing in a mission. Like one would serve all that time by Lockwood. That's when he's throwing a knife. Again the stretch. Another curve. He bounced. That was strong. Craving the coffee flavor you love. I've perfectly executed that with the infield back. So, Kater gets better for a run, bad it in, or sacrifice. As clock scores and the Yankees, the lot in front, good enough. And that's something the Yankees have not been doing so far this year. Well, Bob Fig is a run now as just as good as in the ninth inning. And they have the infield back never expecting Kater to bought. Here is Felipe Alu, bounce to third is first time up. Once in a third, merciless second, official Alu is popped up.
The second basement will be back. Back in shallow right field. Backing up and making the catch. For the Yankees, pick up two runs on just one hit. There was one error and two men left. And at the end of three penalties, it's the Yankees two. And the brewers, nothing. All right, Big Frank, we'll go over to TV now. Take a look at the scoreboard. Baltimore scored two runs in the top of the first. Kansas City batting, Dopson against Cleveland at Oakland. It's trying to call a four-year later on. It's the right time for an dissent at his one end of four. Bob Johnson against Genese. Minnesota three, the Red Cross nothing end of four-and-a-half. Against Nagin. Remember, Scott Alessander is fishing up in Boston. The match at Houston will be McGangel against Griffin. The Phillies get out the clubs today. One or nothing. Short the winner happens to lose them. San Diego nothing. Fire is nothing end of three. Roberts against Bob Johnson. Youngings to nothing. Cincinnati nothing end of one. Marry Shal against Merrick.
Dodge is nothing at lead. Nothing. Singer against Bill Negro. And once we're all at St. Louis, it'll be St. Louis against Cleveland. Cleveland is the picture's name. So we get ready now for the top of the fourth inning. Yankees leading two to nothing. And coming over from the TV side already to go on radio. Bill White. Thank you, Phil Rosuto. And the board will send up Mike Egan. Johnny Priggs and Dave May in their top of the fourth inning. Yankees coming up with two big runs. Nothing tells me this is going to be a low four. Look at those bases on balls. What Frankie Priggs used to say? You have advantages. Grey hair. This guy has walked five already. One of those potential. Here's Mike Egan. First time I'll be went out for Peter to climb. First pitch is outside for ball.
On deck the left field are Johnny Priggs. One of the first support for Yankees leading two to nothing. One of those pitch to Egan. Fast forward cut on five off. Above the strike, no out. The Yankees and Bill Danny Keener at first. Forest Park at second. Gene Michael at short. Jerry Kenny at third. Yachtfield. The left to right. Bobby Mercer's in center. The lower white and the left. He'll be a Lewin right. Next pitch is outside. Two balls on the strike. Eight of the first face and plays Egan to pull. Yankees and even with the bag at third. Two one pitch. Fast forward line out to deep center. Field Mercer's back. He has room. And he has it for the first stop. Mike Egan.
He's talking on the other side, Phil. We were wondering what Jim Egan was thinking for a face when his son is up there. I said, I'm going to Egan. So for me, I don't be at home whenever it's time. If we use? Yes, sir. No, that's not what Jim said. He said, he didn't mind Mike going for us before as long as the Yankees won. Well, that's all right, too. Very diplomatic. Oh, yeah. Johnny Briggs got on the first turn ball of missing first strike. Fine is ready. Last ball outside. Just missed it. Briggs started after put held up. Briggs, just in here. This is the blower from the Philadelphia affiliates. He started the season with the police. He never was content with Philadelphia. One one pitch. Fung on. Side to left field. Royal White has a lot of room. He waits. And they're too out. Dave May, the center of fielder's in the next hitter.
May came into the game, hitting 268. Grounded off first time up. Charged with an air last inning. He threw home trying to get Clark from all of the center. First pitcher hit the cator. Whistle. Over to mine. And there's three outs. That's the second time. Here's the third time. Here's what it looks like like that. He went far. It was right. Six of all up. Through all balance to the C-Flying. One for the first place. So for the Brewers that are half the four. They didn't scream enough. And three men down at the end of three and a half. The New York Yankees. Soon the Milwaukee Brewers. Nothing. Here's a right new star. A girl made coffee. Thinking about a beer named Shaper. Hey, baby. Hey, son. One beer, two and a half.
One beer, two and a half. And four and a half. Hey, son. Hey, son. Hey, son. What a great. Cherry Kenny's a hitter for the Yankees. And they're half of the fourth inning. First time up. Gary tried to drag a bunch. Second baseman groupie. I've made a good play on him. Got him out. First pitch is a fast fall. Inside does miss.
It's only harbor. The third baseman. Way in on the grass. Even the birth baseman. Back in normal. How's fieldplay? Shallow. Next pitch is Lyon to left center field. After the Dave May. And he made the catch. Any Lyon to ball in the shallow left center field. Dave may all put the crack at a bat. Thoughts of all easily in left center. So there's one out. And that'll bring in the shortstop Jean Michael. Michael popped up to the third baseman harbor. First time up. Jean came into the game hitting 292. No home runs. Nine runs. That again. Deep line moves into the on deck. First pitch is a curve ball low. Get blockwood on the mound for the brewers. Former outfielder. Good fastball. Good curve ball. One on pitch. Followed strike. Fastball. In there.
Followed in the strike. One out. The last half the fourth with the Yankees leading to another. Blockwood is ready. Expitch is high. Two balls on the strike. The Yankees took advantage of Lockwood's wildness in the third. After they didn't take advantage of it in the first inning. When he walked the first two minutes, let's get out of the inning. But in the third he walked three and the Yankees got two runs. Expitch is high inside. Three balls on the strike. One out. Now Michael takes a look at Nick Howe's approaching the third. Just back in. He's ready. Close stance. Getting left hand. Pitch is fall strike. Right on the inside corner at the knee. Good fastball. Three balls and two strikes. Hard for the third base and stays on the grass. The Yankees lead two feet inside the grass.
That is Lockwood is ready. Three, two, five to Michael. Followed off. That'll make it steep in the upper deck. And gets down to the lower deck. A fan promptly drops it. Everybody dove in the ball. A guy would say that's right. Got the ball. Lockwood is ready with three, two, five. Box ball high. Craving the coffee flavor you love. But without the caffeine. Must be frustrating to a kid like that with as good as stuff as he's got belly. Wow. Not being able to find the place. If you can just hold the people down as close as you can to 27 batter. You're really done a good job. He walks six already. He's given up only one hit. But it's time to do nothing. Mine steps in. He's wearing the butt down the first baseline. Mike, he gets up with it. Look at that second. It goes the first. And they're too out. So Steve Klein does his job. He gets Michael down the second base. And the out is from he gets my gig in the first base. To set to be active the second base. Three to four. Two out. Michael now down the second leading off. And off-flark steps in. Clark hasn't been able to face me.
He's got a flight to walk quite. So he has yet to make an official pair. Lockwood stretches. Takes a long look. First picture down low to Clark. Now a lockwood wants a new ball. And he gets one. When it lasts for the four, the Yankees leading two nothing. That two runs in the third. Parkway. Exhibition entry strike. Ball of a strike. Months in the waving a bat in the on-decker. Lockwood 50 fast. One one takes a car. Car ball. One out of foul ball. And all of them up there are pretty good for it. But everyone's in the way. He threw one at Steve Klein. I got him. Klein got a base in.
Now a lockwood is ahead. One ball and two strikes towards Clark. There are two outs. When the last half of the fourth inning, with the Yankees leading two nothing. Lockwood to the belt. One two fifth. Car ball, slow on a foul on the first baseline. I don't stand with the long reach just a baseball. Kelly Howard coaching down a first for the Yankees. Dick Howard returns. The outfield plays shallow for off. That's straight away. There's lockwood strikes. Next pitch is one on foul off again. Clark for second place. John Briggs in shallow and less field. Dave Mays, shallow and thinner. The right field of bill of loss. Now move back just a little bit for Clark. The end-beilded straight away. Lockwood to the belt.
One two fifth to Clark. Inside. Just missed. That was close. And lockwood one of that pitch. Runs the count to balls and to the strike. King Michael leading off down a second. There are two outs. Lockwood to the pitch. Two two fifths. Turn ball. Just a three and two. That was close. Three balls and two strikes on towards bark. There are two outs. King Michael on a second. The Yankees lead to nothing when the last one's four. Three, two, six. Turn ball. Clark on a ground ball. Pass he does first place. James. King Michael was four. Clark on first place. In the second. Standing up. And the Yankees lead three nothing.
This is the New York Yankee baseball network. We've all been offered space to my identification. This is D-5th, your contact host. Call us weeknights from 8 to midnight. Here on the fresh air sound of Radio 81, W-G-Y's connected in. There you go again. The Yankees took advantage of a walk to King Michael. He was sacrificed by a G-Plan and a double down the right field line. Pass he can open the back by a horse bark. And the Yankees now lead three nothing. And I found flat in that sacrifice fund. It's something the Yankees weren't doing early in the if. Now it's paying off. Here's my first picture done for a strike. Once it's been a place. Neither officially because he's walked what. This bark and lunch and have full walks between them. No one fits them.
They're ballin' for strikes. No balls and two strikes. Yankees leading three nothing. We're in the last half of the quarter. The block was good. The old two fits too much. Just misses out side. One ball and two strikes are too out. Turned lunch. The Yankees were losing lunch for the most part of the next few weeks. And he goes to military reserve duty. The next fitted ball off. Yankees hurt ball months and did not get a good set out of it. But he didn't fall it off. On that big scoreboard, happy birthday to our Yankees foul.
It was at Southburg in hospital. And a lot of the fellows went up to visit Yankees. Here's the one two pitch to much. He's on the ground right at Harper. He's up there. It's the long field of birds and months and a thousand. So for the Yankees, in their half of the quarter, they got one run. On one hit, there were no errors and one man left on base. At the end of the four inning, the Newark Yankees three. And the walkie brewers, nothing. When you think of moving, think of you hall. Why you hall? Baltimore leads Kansas City 2 to 1 at the end of an inning and a half. Lights on 4, Senate is 1 end of 5 and a half. Minnesota 3 red tracks nothing end of 5 and a half. Next one, Houston nothing end of 1. Willie shut out the Cubs 1 nothing. And Diego leads the pirates 3 nothing end of 3 and a half. James Cincinnati no score after 1. Dodges Atlanta no score at the 3 and a half. Well, thank you so much.
Little boss stepped in for the broiler. He's the only one. First picture curve ball misses outside. First time up. Boss bounces back. It's flying. Boss decayers. One open curve ball grounded down. Oh, that's the first safe line. Good week. And the first safe done fired George Maloney right on the line. Hold the bomb. All of the strike took out the bill box. He's flying. The young 50 looks dead. Are you ready? One one fit. Down low for balls. Two balls in the strike. We're on top of the fence with the Yankees leading 3 notice.
Blind right. Two one fit. Pass ball. We're on a side. I just want to go. Mercer is back. He waits. And there's one away. Fed that could be at the second base. He has the only hit for the broiler. Ringway to right field. He's one for one. He's flying is ready. First pitch is down low for ball. Aren't decked a catcher early, Rodriguez. Next pitch is a breaking ball in for a strike. Blind has done a good job. He's got the rowers out. One, two, three in the first. Third and the fourth inning.
One, one hit. Down low. Two balls in the strike. The only inning he pitched to a man over regulation was in the second inning. When this gets, he'll be acting with the right field. Other than that, he's handled the broiler. Two and one. Last ball. Line to center field. Bay set. Mercer's ended up with the ball and gets it in the second base. And it will be acting. It's on with his second hit. That'll bring an early Rodriguez to catcher. He drowned it out from Kenny Decatur the first time. Down line will have to stretch. Rodriguez, the right handed interceptor. One's the property of the anchor. Line's got you. First it. Followed strike on the outside corner. Right on the knee. No balls in the strike. Account to Rodriguez.
Who'll be acting. He's his first. The anchor he outfielded punches. Rodriguez, they play him the hit straight away. It was Mercer and Calvin. In center field. Line to the belt. No one's picked. Outside. Followed the strike. One out. Where's the first of them picked? With the Yankees ahead. Green up. Line will spin at one. He likes what he sees. One one picks the right green. Four long and popped up. Park is back there. He's off course. And they're two out. Rick Harbott. A little shortstop index. Harbott get a dribbler down a gene Michael first time. A gene took his time and just nipped Harbott gets first. He's done pretty good.
Young shortstop. Rick Harbott. A-U-E-R-B-A-C-A. Who'll be acting. First fish, third ball in first strike. Steve Klein. Given up two hits. Both two follow on at first now. Who'll be acting. But he's handled everybody else. And he's ready. One-bitch Harbott. Bitches. One-bitch Harbott keeps it in front of him. And there's no advance. Turn ball in the third. It's one-bounce down on quickly. And the count is one-one. Of all of the strike two outs. First half of it then. Yankee's three, the Brewers nothing. One-one-fifth. Third ball hit on Michael. He's up with a fast and difficult four-shot attack. And that's the third out for the Brewers. In their half to fifth.
No run on one hit. There were no errors in one man left on base. At the end of 4th avenue. The New York Yankee's three, four-one-fifth. 20th century America is the world's most mobile society. Well, tomorrow it'll be Stan Bonson for the Yankees and Luke Proud for Milwaukee. And Luke Proud was one of the first of the big bonus boys. And he was signed by his dead Luke Proud senior, which was a bad deal. He got to some one of the biggest bonuses by the way Bill White. How much did you get to sign when you came into the big league? Fair shoes worth $1,250. You know you got more than these? I got a glass of milk and a hand sandwich this time with the action. So at least you want to file it hard over the big one? Oh, yeah, I don't get it. But that's a big help, you know. And you get that gold. Oh, yeah. It can also be a hindrance. Yeah, many times. You might sit on it and say, I don't have to work too hard. But that's not true. Here's Roy White. First pitch is grounded down to Hegan at first.
He's up with it. He'll take it by himself. And there's one on. Roy White, cutting on the first pitch, grounded the ball down to Mike Hegan. And he took it out of the system. Roy had driven in one of the three Yankee run. And the last inning with a sacrifice. A sacrifice fly is eight foot advantage in a year. The Bobby Mercer. Mercer has fly it out. And he was walking ten. Lockwood is ready. Turn ball, pull on. And the right field. Raise it on the ground. Box is up with the ball. It's Mercer's up with the first pitch. Bobby Mercer. One for two now. That is only the Yankee's third hit. Again, skip Lockwood. But Lockwood is helped by a walking six Yankee. And then he cater steps in. The last time up.
He catered run out to the first baseman Hegan. And Roy's park was running. And four. That hit by Mercer. Has him up now to 382. Bobby Mercer hitting 382. Lockwood straight ahead. And has catered way. First six is outside for ball. Everybody looks down at housing now. Mercer has stolen four bases. And addition to hitting 382. And he leads it first. Yankee's leading three nothing. Last to the fifth. Next push, he catered. Grounded down to the good stop. Our box over a second for one. He's up to ball. And the up-bar hit scores his face. He did not feel that Bobby act was taking the ball out of the glove, though. No, that's right. He didn't have control of it long enough. He wanted to take it out and get rid of it quickly.
It looked like I'll back took a little extra time giving him the ball. And he was worried about Mercer come sliding in. That's a big break for the Yankees on that error. So you'll have to give the second baseman. That will be I can hear. And leave that loose up there. Blocked with backs off now. Mercer takes a long lead in seconds. Peter moves back to first. There's one out. And the Yankee's leading three nothing. And they're at half of the fifth. Not locked with it, buddy. For a spiritual who is a breaking ball outside. You're gonna sit to the short stop. Our box. And an error to the second baseman. And the Yankee is threatening again. Blocked with his head. A little wait. Next with the curve ball come on right back to last one. He gets enough clear on the ball of her face and there's two out. Most runners have been Mercer down the third.

Let's K-A-C-H-A-V-A.com code news. And Jerry Kenny will be the better. Jerry's over two grounded out first. I have a flight to center field in the port. Kenny, a left-handed interlocker. Right-handed. Looking in, on Deca G. Michael. Now Lockwood is ready. First pitch in, curve ball in the dirt for balls. Harper. Third baseman will give Kenny no room at all there. Third. Way in on the grass. Cops field plays. Getty straight away and shallow. Here's one old thing. That's all. Hit on the ground. Hard boxes are stopped over. Take the long hop. Throw into first and there's three out. So many Yankees in the last half of their city. No run. On one hit. There was one air and two men left on base. At the end of five.
New York Yankees. Three. The middle. The wealthy groom. Nothing. Baseball has come a long way since the days of Abna double day. There are plays on tires and a long set of rules about how the game should be performed. The automobile has come a long way from its beginning to. . . . . . . start. . . . . . . Bristol, Dave Bristol is going to send an offender to hit for Ship Lockwood and he's Ron Fieldbold. On the limp field, he's only 5-8165 from Oakland, California, Fieldbold hitting for Lockwood, leading off in the Brewer's Avenue 6th. First bitch is on first try. Tank is 83, nothing. Declined. Looks in, he's ready. The only one bitch.
Ball, misses outside. Ball on the strike. Fieldbold was fired from the Washington Senators. One one bitch. Her ball misses. First side with the Chicago Cup. Got off the 1964 Fort Worth. Played last year with Denver Indianapolis. Three balls on the strike. Fieldbold. Fine has a lock demand tonight. He's struck out only one also. He's had the twin getting a ball in the ground. For the most part. Here's the three-one bitch. Five, five, four. Fieldbold. Becomes the first.
Brewer walks. Five, five. And found the harbor depth there. Harpers over to. He's brought it out and fly it out. He's a good runner. Good drag runner. Handles of that well. Excellent base runner. He's caught the base. He can't feel it. Fine's got you. Fieldbold lead. The first bitch to harbor. Breaking ball in first strike. Getting the third phase of an even with the bag of thirds. Danny Gator holding Fieldbold on it first. Rice fielder playing shallow and they punch Harpers. Yankees leading three-nothing. First with a sixth. Next bitch to Harpers. Rounded it down to Michael. He's in it up with an over-the-fly for one. And Park is rolled by a Fieldbold and he has no chance with an over-play. But Fieldbold is forced to second. But there's one out now.
And that'll bring in the first phase when Mike Egan. Hegan's over to. Rounded it out and glide out. Left-handed hitter. Getter will hold Harpers. Now Loom moves back near the track and right field as the left-handed hegan steps in. First bitch to him. Get on file off. I know that's the only line in the upper deck. Harpers. Back to first. Roy Mcdonald poaching down there first. From Milwaukee. Playing some sort of stop for Cincinnati. Atlanta brave. When they were in Milwaukee brave. Little sexy. Flying ready. The old 150 Egan. Like two balls. Egan backed off. The ball really must be moving. He backed off of that. And the ball cuts the inside point.
No balls and two strikes. There's one out. We're in the first of the six with the Yankees leading three now. On deck, Johnny breaks. Another left-handed hitter. Egan out. Shows up just a bit. He has a slightly cloned stand. Go to bitch. Outside for ball. One ball and two strikes. Fine looking at it much. Take the ball. Now he's ready to the belt. One, two, three. This is outside. Two balls and two strikes. Two and two. One out. Fine looking at it much. Now he's ready. Two, two, five, three.
Three balls and two strikes. I'm flying. You'll have to watch it here. Harper takes a speak at the third base. So if you might move, Harper flying base on it. He counts three and two on Egan and flies ready. Harper does not run. Balls it out in the left field, right at Roy White, who's there. And he has it for the second out. So White Egan flies right to the left field of White, who had to move only a separate two. And that'll bring in John Briggs, the left field. Briggs has struck out and fly it out to White and left field. That's fine. First picture, Briggs. Good ball. We're going on. Topped up the left field. White big and hard. Will they get it? Who's the captain?
And he has it. Roy White had to come a long way for that one. He lost his captain of the process, but he just got to the ball for the third out. So for the groomer in their half to six. No run on no hit. There were no Yankees here. And one groomer was left on base. At the end of five and a half, any? The New York Yankees three and the walkie-brewers nothing. Here's a bright young sound of Ken Stuller. He's singing about the bright rewarding taste of Schaefer beer.

Sheldon, he replaced his gift lockwood, lockwood pitch, five innings. He only gave up three hits. He walked six which proved his downfall, struck out none. And allowed the three runs. Now John Gellner is in there. That's a big right-hander, Gellner. And he'll have to face Gene Michael. Steve Fline, the bitch in the house, Clark. The Yankees came up with their two runs in the third inning when Steve Fline led off on a single. For his Clark's walk, they were, and then with the pass ball, both runners moved up. Months and walks. Roy White had a sacrifice fly. Mercer was walked intentionally, and then Danny Keeter bunted in Clark. First bitch is high to Gene Michael. One ball and those strikes. And then in the fourth inning, after Jerry Kinney flyed out, Michael walked.
Sacrified the second bike line. Second bitch is high. Two balls and those strikes. And then Hoss Clark doubled inside the first phase line for the third Yankees run. So the Yankees are leading three nothing when the last half to six. Two and all bitch to Michael's, then for strike fall. Two balls and a strike. The stick is over two. But he just hope for one. Guys, deep the right field. But Boss is there. And Michael's the first time. Now he's over two. And he counted that walk in the fourth. With the fourth. Steve Fline, the picture. He gets a good hand. He's only giving up two hits so far.
First bitch to Fline. Right on the outside corner. Good fast balls and gilders. John Gilder and Relief of Ship Lockwood. When the last of the six was the Yankees leading three nothing. Gilder is ready. One on a miss breaking ball. The balls and two strikes on Steve Fline. He gets his ripples in. He doesn't play around the bat. He's not a bad hit and hit him. Their ball hit a base up to the center field. And it's falling. May over. He's up. If he gets the ball in the second base. And Steve Fline is on with his second single. These two are two. Singh will in four to run in the third. He's running Michael over from over the second. And where Mike was scored in the fourth. And now he's on with a single. In the fifth. And that'll bring it all apart. Park is one for one.
Walk right. Dumbled in the fourth. The drive in the third Yankee run. First fish to park is a high fast ball. Hagen's playing behind Fline first. Gilder's fish. Next fish to park inside. Two balls to no strike. Hey Ron Hansen, Mike Geckish will sign autograph tomorrow. That will fall glitchy. That'll be at 12 o'clock at the Yankee autograph booth. Engage to the open. That's 12 o'clock. Right. Two out of 14. Gilder's ready. Two little pitches outside. Three balls to no strike to work with. They're montons on deck. They've gone Gilder to the belt. Strino pitch to park. It's taken high. All four.
This is the New York Yankee baseball net. Working for us now. Operation identification. This is D fifth. Your contact code. Call us weeknights from 8 to midnight. Fill on the fresh air sound of Radio 81. W-G-Y's connected. No blind dogs on down to second. Where he's stationed. Far as flat. Down at first. Third month in a step, then. Thirms over one. He walked right and rounded out. There's one out. When the last of his sixth inning. Yankee being green, nothing. Gilder gets ready. First fish to month into breaking ball in. First strike. First fish to month into breaking ball in. First strike. Ruler's end field. Mike Egan. First. That will be Agatha's second. Rip our box. Short stop. And Tommy Harper, the third base.
Next fish to breaking ball in. First strike. No balls will do this back on third month. The outfield, Johnny Briggs. Just required for the collision swing. Dave May in center field. And Bill Voss. The right field. Finally drop a second. Park off a third. As Gilder is ready. He backed off now. Once he stepped out. Gilder probably didn't like the sign. Now he looks in at Rodriguez. He gets another one. Big fellow stretcher. Yo-2 fish to month. Inside turn. One ball into the strike. Ball into the strike. One. Last of the six. Ganky's bringing the broard's left. Gilder to the belt. One, two, three.
Turn ball. One on foul. Once he's waiting good on a fish. Got a good ripple at it. Followed it straight down. So the count remains the same. One ball into the strike. Grind back a second attack. Park tags up the first. And now they leave. And Gilder stretcher. One, two, pinch to month. That ball high in a way. Two balls into the strike. Gilder from Granite Oklahoma. And he's ready. Two, two, pinch to month. Get on, foul off. Back up the fish in the upper deck. Count to say him two balls into the strike.
Gilder came to him in the walk in 1969. As part of a trade has sent loop in the yellow to the Kansas City Royal for Steve Whitaker. Sixth bullet started his full baseball career in the Pittsburgh Fire Organization. John Gilder, he's ready. Two, two, pinch to month. Turn ball outside. Three balls into the strike. When the last of the sectors went out, Steve climbs on his second. Or his barge is on his first. The Yankees lead three nuttings. And months and months and months and months for his first hit of the night. As Gilder stretcher. Three, two, pinch. Grind the right field. That's the very first. One, two, pinch. One, two, pinch. One, two, pinch. Grind the right field. That's the very first. Grind it around third. He was four. Four, taking the third. He is held up there. And months and a good second date.
As Ross receives the ball and gets them to Gubiak. And the Yankees now lead. Four or nothing. Huston doubles into the right field corner. I was talking, maybe the Yankees got an inkling of the score. Kansas City came up with three runs in the third. One, four, two, and out at the end of three. Well, months and months. Grind the double down the right field line. And that's the Yankees fourth run. Dave Bristol, the manager, walking slowly out of the Milwaukee dugout. And he's already called for a picture. And that's all for Gelner. Gelner then would fit one third of an inning. And he'll leave with two Yankees on. He's giving up two hits. He's giving up one run so far.
And these two are his responsibilities. He walked one better. That was hard part. The seventh walk given up by the Milwaukee 50 staff today. Two pushes that Bristol is used. And the Yankees will try to add to their four-nothing lead. Yankees scores two runs in the third inning. And see who's flying that off of the single. Off-flip walk, both of the fans on a pass ball, served months in a walk below the bases. And then more white drove in, climbed with a bag of five fly to centerfield. Bobby Mercer was intentionally passed. And then he gave her bun into the first base. And he even driving in off-flip. And the next inning in the fourth, after Jerry Kinney fly to centerfield, Gene Michael Walk. He was sacrificed in second by a client. And Hawthler doubled him in. So the Yankees option that point led to nothing.
And then the sixth, this inning, Gene Michael's tied to the right field of Novos, but flying the picture single again for his second base in. For Clark Walk, third months in double. Fouring client, sending Clark to third base. And Bristol Selfie Gelder had enough, and he's brought in Dick Ellsworth. Ellsworth, come to the left. Why only? Six, four, one, nine, seven, left, enter. But the Fresno high. Same pool as that big right hand. And Maloney, Jim Maloney, in fact, I believe Phillips, they played on the same baseball team. A lot of good athletes come out of that ice bowl. You start off with a title five. I've got a lot of good years with the club. From 60 to 66. We played together at Somadalphia in 1967. Then he went to Boston in 68. Cleveland, part of 69.
My 69 and 70. Milwaukee last year. Last year he was on. Oh, he's got 14 games with the blower. Only bit 16 innings. He'll be 11 hits. Three runs. All three in order. ERA 1.72. Ellsworth is the left hand. He doesn't know hard. He has a sinker and a slider and a curveball. Look at him. You're going to hit him. You do that nice little soft collar. Eventually tough on the left hand. The only guy who saw it strike out unusual. Four times in a row. No, didn't. All with slider. I see it. Come on with a slider. And usually I've never seen it before. You know, in the years the music was bad against him. He hadn't shown standard slider. And talking about four times in a row in Chicago. Well, Roy White stepped in. That right hand is out. Roy is over two. He's got an RBI. Dick Ellsworth on him out.
Infield in. First fix the curveball down on the dirt. The brewer infield is in. Five for third. Five box for shortstop. It will be acting second base. And Mike Keaton, the first fix. Dick Ellsworth on him out. Go open to what? Fast while. Hit out in the center field. Maze over. And he'll get it. Work time. As well. Well, not getting. He can cut it off. That's why he comes up with his second cycle flight. Fly in his second RBI. And the Yankees lead five nothingness in their half of the six. With two out Bobby Merchant stepped in. Bobby fly it out. Walked in bed when single. 382 Bobby didn't.
Burst the left handed. Facing the left hander Ellsworth. Thomas in a field of Maze moves over. More toward right side. Function leads off the second. curveball the virtues outside. Conject the first face in Danny Keaton. Ell may move more straight away in turn. Break the left field and it's in Galloway straightaway. One will pick outside. Two balls in O's right. The right field and Bill Vaz is deep. The end field. Plays Merchant to pull. With a second Maze. And he'll be at back on the grass. Ellsworth will cage his time. Two will fit. Third ball in first try. Two balls in the start. You're two out. We're in the last of the six.
Yankees leading by another. Burst the left hander. With a crouch. Two one fit. Third ball high. Black Griga takes a second. Faced to throw down a second. But months in fact. A month and takes a lead off a second. With a count three and one to Merchant. Months are taking a long look in there with that catcher. He might be trying to steal the time. Three one takes to Merchant. curveball pull on a minute. Bobby. Out front. On a breaking ball. Just like me, I'd have been guessing fastball too. One of the few times Bobby's been trying to pull that outside fit. Three and two. There are two outs. Yankees ahead five. Nothing.
And Elzworth stretches. Three two curveball. Rounded right to Egan. He's up with his conscious Elzworth. And there are three outs. So over the Yankees in there half the six. They've got one run. Two runs. They've got two runs. I'm sorry. They've got two runs. On two hits. There were no errors, man. One man left on base. And at the end of six and he's playing the Yankees have five runs on five hits in the no errors. And the walkie-throughers have no runs on two hits. And they've committed two errors. And with the Yankees leading five, nothing going in to the top of the seven. Here's Frank Smith. Okay, Bill White. Thank you very much. John, good evening once again, ladies and gentlemen. Dave May, leaves off against Steve Plan. The answer is first pitch is lower ball one.
Plan is allowed only two base hits, both flingles and both of them by check could be action. Could be action will be the third man up in the inning. Here's the pitch. And it's a strike call that Dave made. Mayor's a rough candidate. May start of the evening, about in 268. And he's over two. The pitch last ball is low. Two balls and one strike. May take. Strike two. Two and two. Dave May from Newcastle, Delaware. And the pitch. Get on the ground right side. Tater back hands it. Two fly. And he was out at first.
Danny Tater is pointing wide to his right. Bill White, you watch first base. I'm just like Brazil are watching the shots. It seems to me that Danny Tater is pointing wide or two is right. These days when he did grab earlier than he is. Well, Brazil mentioned before he left that gear. It seems to be better going to his right than he is going to his left. And he's made three or four good plays there. And made perfect process to find off balance. About an hour, Bill White. He takes the balls right. So he's right about, right out the center. It was on ball just. Tater and flying came up with a fine play back in the second inning. The pitch is in the very almost giddy. One ball and one strike. That should be active on that.
Fine, one, one, one, hit. Get on the ground to hit it. And he knocked it down, but will not have a play. This heater had to go to his left. Because that ball was right down the line. He got to it, knocked it down, but did not come up with it. It is a base hit. And the third of the ball game for Bill Wachie. As that ball got through Tater, it's a very well-opened and double. While there's good speed. And off could be active as the other two hits from the Wachie. Single the right in the second inning. Single the center field in the fifth. He takes low and outside ball line. Could be active switch at about a left. Tater plays deep. Not holding ball time with a five-nothing lead. And that Tater playing line. Flying to the ball.
Delivered. Drag his ball. None of Wachie's flying up the breaking pitch in here. Flying has, well, only one man. That was a pinch at her. Ron Fieldball back in the sixth inning. He has now allowed three singles. He delivers one in Wachie. And the tear of his butt is fouled back to the screen. He could be active trying to take advantage of Jerry Kenny there. Trying to butt it down the third base line. And all the back of all of his friends. In today's late tomorrow, Saturday will be senior citizens day. And also ladies day here at Yankee Stadium. One two pitch to Kubiak. It is high. Two balls and two friends. Galaumer, the third base coach. Flaps his hand. Shops down for encouragement. Roy McMillan pushes it first base. Or to know what he wrote.
Yankee's lead five-nothing. The step by speed fly. It's two two pitch-sunning. Kubiak is in the third base coach. Flaps his hand. Shops down for encouragement. Roy McMillan pushes it first base. Kubiak swings at the fly bar. I'm going to see a Roy White going back. Going back. He's there. Love how it makes the catch. Lost. Halfway to second. Retrieved the first base and the retreat out. Prings up the catcher. L.A. Rodriguez. Rodriguez has glad about the third and popped up to the second base line. Yankee's lead five-nothing. You're in the seventh inning. Bought the first two out. Blind stretches. Fixed and delivers. Fair ball for a strike. Bill White, he's blind.
He just had excellent control. Yes, he has. I believe he's only walked one man. Of course, he only has a one strike out. But he's down in the ball on the ground or in the air. Fast forward on the ground a second. Bart has it. Makes his underhand flip the gene, Michael. They execute the fourth place second base, requiring bass and the side. No longer basic. There were no Yankee errors and a man is left. At the end of six and a half the score. Yankee's five-nothing. When you think of moving, think of U-Haul. Why U-Haul? The Yankees are going to send in Danny Kater and then Philippe Belou and Jerry Kenny in their half of the seventh as they're trying to protect and add on to this five-nothing leaf. See some good plays on their first page by the fellow Danny Kater. Yes sir. Danny Kater is surprising everybody.
I thank whether it's a sacrifice or not for one flag in the third inning to knock in a run. Kater officially is over two. First pitch time from Ellsworth gets the outside to one strike one. The LA failure is on deck. Yankees five runs five hits. Drawers no runs on three hits. The wind up in the pitch coming. Line drive just fouled down the third base side. Easy call there for John Stevens. That thinking line drive was headed right for his right foot which is in foul territory. And let's play about six hits. No ball, two strikes on Kater. Nick Ellsworth, the third pitcher employed by the Milwaukee Brewers. Locking deals, Kater takes just outside. I bought him just right. Danny started to go eject the switch.
And the one two pitch will be done. Ellsworth's turn to move. Der ball locks fouls. So let's try again just pass to Dick Ellsworth. A ball and two strikes. Dick Ellsworth. Rolled in a 19-58 ball. One two pitch hits. Get in the add Ellsworth. Goat into his left. Getting under. Follett's fielder. And a one hand grab made by Johnny Briggs. Kater will be steady failure. Everybody has offered three. He brought it out to the third. Popped off the second and bounced back to the pitcher.
Ellsworth first pitch to him. Loan inside ball on. In 19-68 Ellsworth won 60th game for the Boston Red Sun. Eight of those 16 wins. Team a 10-way plus. Your ball is going inside ball two. And the stars aren't going to win there, are they? He did, he did. I have to consider that to be quite a year. It's starting to white. He poured about it a little while ago. He set a left hand as a trophy. Craving the coffee flavor you love. But without the caffeine. Kachava's got you covered with their newest coffee flavor. Barbre, three and o. And the pre-nothing's in. Right down the middle, taking all the way towards the right pre-and-one. We've got some marvel to see. Here's Mel Carnell, and I'm picking for the red stuff.
You have to pick a lot of those things in some way. Quite a big one. Three-one delivery. Last ball is low. So they say what? And that is the seven-walk allowed by Boston, about the Boston vision yet. By no walkie-ficking. That's the eight-walk. Monk would walk six. Y'all know I walked one. And now one by over. So eight-walk. And he's got five runs on five. But eight-walk. It brings up Gary Kennedy and the bitches down low ball one. Three of the five Yankee runs, three on walk. Dark white and green Michael. Now what's the first to pick?
Kennedy's playing ground ball in a second basement. Gooby-ack up. Over two seconds. Back to first place for the double play. So the Yankee's already tired on a Gooby-ack hour-bought season double play. No runs, no hits. There were no errors. Nobody left. And at the end of the seven, the score is New York five, no walkie-snuffing. One of the nice things about owning a car is that you can travel whenever you get the urge to the beach, the mountains, or just to the store for the daily necessities. Wherever you drive you'll be burning gasoline and you may be burning more than you should. One reason is that your carburetor may not be clean enough. There may be deposits that can cause your car to waste gas and cost you mileage. If this seems to be happening to you, in other words, if you're not satisfied with a performance you're getting, then you should know about arco-supreme gasoline.
Arco-supreme helps keep deposits from clogging the air passages of your engine. Deposits that can cause your car to waste gasoline and cause you, of course, lose mileage. So if you think you're not getting the mileage you should, try a tank full of arco-supreme. You'll find arco-supreme gasoline at any arco station. Now you may not get that much more mileage on it, but sometimes a little more is enough. Well, the Yankees will send out another right-hander tomorrow, San Bonson. As they play the same Milwaukee Brewer, and he'll be opposed by a fellow who's got a lot of money with him. All right? Loose props. Of course, Loose moves around. Charlie suddenly gave him all his money in Kansas City. So he'll be San Bonson and Loose props. Tomorrow here at Yankees City. Okay, Bill. Leading off for the brewers. wreck our box. Take four outside by one.
One ball and no strikes by our box. He is rounded out to short and rounded into a fourth place, rounded by the shrubs up. Take the strike at 21. Floyd Witter has come out on deck. She's back for Dick Elkworth. Witter left-hand by. One one butch not a lot about. Strike, nibble at the outside corner. One and two. One two butch if. Derby is fouled with a piece just past the Yankees dugout. Yankees leading five nothing. First strike, strike something, and there'll be an happier in the evening. He's flying with a one and two count now.
Into the wind up. Kicks and delivers. Fastballed it on the ground. Float in a third. Twenty-two-hopped it. Fires the first phase in line, and that's all for our box. It will bring up Floyd Witter as a matter for Dick Elkworth. This is the first time this year Witter has been to bat. It was brought up in the Cardinal organization. In 1968 he got in five games for the Cardinals and hit five hundred. Two before. He had too much. Left-hand by. Back to pitch. Right in there for a call, strike one. Or once it.
Like to a skull got the inside corner. Reason this is Witter's first at bat of the year. He has been on the table list until today. Wings of six back and forth, and the old two delivery. Our ball just outside. One ball and two strikes. Yankees lead five nothing. Our family is turning one out. Nobody on. He's flying. There's a lot only three hits in the ball again. Up, hit five. Witter fouled it back up here. Basketball have time, Sean. No walkie 60. The Baltimore ball is 47. And have time in the NBA. Championship round one, two fits. It's slowly back to the mound. Flying flags it down. The first phase of that ball, call Witter.
Go away. And the top of the batting order, Johnny Harper. Harper came in tonight, about eight minutes. But two oh five, up seventy five times the foul. Checked out, make it seventy six times. With fifteen minutes. Checked out a high pitch by one. The blinds actually look breathing. Now he's ready to work again. As the sign from Munson, checks and delivers. Right call, right over the knee. He's one of all men. One one puts the funny. Derp pops up foul, left side of foot. Munson over towards the dugout after it.
Gator jumps down the line. Need a one can get to it. Back him is proud and the shot is one and two. This is empty two away. Yankee's out in front five and nothing. Add the one two pitch to Harper. He checks it's going on a low pass for us two and two. The end of city now leading Baltimore for two. At the end of five, out in Kansas City. That's the Yankee's config up again. The wind up too stupid. That's what I was talking about. We're going to miss by Harper on the side of the slide. That is the second strikeout for Klein.
The brewer is stood out in order. And at the end of seven and a half the score. New York five and Milwaukee's nothing. Quick. Is a good motor oil one that stays nice and clean or one that gets good and dirty? Answer good and dirty wins. Sound crazy? Well think about this. Your engine may be tough, but it can't fight off dirt and at the deposit. Deposits that can actually corrode, solid steel, and seal a passage. And that's why your engine needs a motor oil that does more than just lubricate and keep your car's engine from running hot. Your engine needs a motor oil that can collect and hold the deposit as they form. Fargo supreme motor oil does such a good job collecting sudden asses it gets dirty. Good and dirty. The dirt in arco supreme motor oil is a sign that it's working hard to help stop deposit build-up. So all the next time your motor oil needs changing, ask your arco dealer for arco supreme motor oil.
Arco supreme motor oil. The dirtier it gets, the better it's working. Well, after that left-end or Lopez ran out there, Mark's little Lopez is the new picture for the brewers. They got him from the Baltimore Orioles and we'll be back. This is the New York Yankee Baseball Network. We pause now for a station identification. This is D-5th, your contact host. Call us weeknight from 8 to midnight. We're on the fresh air sound of Radio 81, W-G-Y's connectivity. There's Lopez, they got him from the picture rich Baltimore Orioles. Lopez had a fine year back in 1965 with the California Angels 114 and 1113. And he's not been a double figure winner since.
Dean Michael leads off against him, takes the first pitch in there for call strike. Lopez left handers. And it is low this time for a ball, what a one. Lopez, the fourth picture used, Lockwood started, he used the picture of records and Y'all know, L-4th and L-L-O-B. Left hander winds and fires. Off the outside corner ball, two, two and one. Marcelino Lopez has been an eight game, one win, no losses, he's 58 any. Comes over the place of lower ball three. Lopez, after his fine year for the California Angels, came up with a four arm. It's been questionable since then, free one pitch. Strike call, Michael taking all the way. First job for him to do. I'd say that Lopez ever regained the form he had in 1965. Somebody's going to have himself a fine picture.
He turns the lures in there, it's all four, Michael is on. That is a nice walk, given up on the night's round of applause for young seed blinds. Once you know that kid feels good, 43 years old, not a large crowd here at the stadium tonight. In fact, 7,023, but they gave him quite an ovation. He's up there to butt past his thigh behind the plate, on the screen. Flanners, the perfect night's one as a hitter, supertooth. Fingles twice, scored two runs, factor five's one. No ball's in the strike, let's see if the sacrifice for the body is in the lead. The ball's in the lead, he's in the lead, he's in the lead, he's in the lead. He's in the lead, he's in the lead, he's in the lead, he's in the lead, he's in the lead. No ball's in the strike, let's see if the sacrifice for the body is still on. Michael eats the weight for it, he can hold him in the corner, flying squares away, takes down low.
One in one. Stretch follow pairs. Flaps down to five, flying fouls it back again on a bunch of jumps. Look out his one ball and two strikes. Steve's flying, I think, was his second strike last year, won a ball game here at Yankee Stadium and also had three base hits. At least they put off here, you'll have a chance to go for his third hit in this game. A ball and two strikes, low pass to the belt. But it's still on, it is funnier down the first baseline. And both have fixed it up, tag's flying. Michael goes to second. And there's one away. So, climb main James is Frederick Knight, as he will be credited with the sacrifice. One unassisted on the foot out. Michael is second. Had that been a hit or other than the picture, they might not have had the sacrifice on or the bot on
and probably would not have been credited with the sacrifice for the five to nothing lead this late in the ball game though. Not a bit of an added power there here. Let's just down low for a ball. Usually automatic, you move the runner up with a bunch. No matter what stage of the game it was, sacrifice was credited. But the official story's all got together, so to change that scoring rule. They got a pick on play, a second Michael is safe. It was close. Our bot, raced in behind James Michael, got well in behind him. Lopez, fun and true, and Michael had to go back ahead first. It was a mighty close play. They wouldn't give me a sacrifice. I'd have to let him charge a thousand with a time attack. What an open. A strike gets the outside corner, one and one. Far as far as walk, has walked three times tonight and double. So, he like climb is working on a perfect night at the place. One for one, to run short. And a run about it in.
Yankees leading five, nothing to fish. Checks playing basketball at the first base side of the mound. And Lopez makes the play again on assisted. The hardest part ran around him, but ran way in towards the mound on the infield grass. So, Lopez is credited with his second on assisted put out on the inning. Michael goes to third on the play. The batter will be seven months, and he's walked twice, ran about to third and double. Yankees out in front, five, nothing. Jean Michael is third. And the pitch. Filed back, just off the wall right. Add into the Milwaukee Brewer break, yes, there he is. No doubt, by everybody's for a hominist, don't tell us. So, now from the strike to month, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say,
I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, I'm going to say, One one pitch coming. Change up curve drops over, 7 months and argues the point now, it's lit on fire, I'm real angry. 7 still talking about that last bit. Well, that's how it's designed. 1 2 5.
That's all. Well, I'm not in this strike range. It's all the side of retired for the Yankees, no runs, no hits. There will no errors, a walk in a man left. At the end of the 8th floor, the Yankees 5 and the Brewer's nothing. Here's a great new group called the Straight 8. Setting you straight about cheaper beer.
We have one final floor in from Wansongton, White Dog, that defeated the Senators 8 to 1. And they've made a big gold team out of there, Jerry Jinepchi. And that young... Mark Johnson picked up his steering wheel. He's off to a good start.
Probably what the boys come out of their last turn at bat, unless they can score five runs or more. And they lead it off with Mike Egan. Egan is over three. Granted off, fly to center and fly to left. He'll be followed by John Briggs and then Dave May. Find Ryan Tendill, Lord outside, boy one. As Bill White told you earlier, it's Miles. The extra Stan Bonson against Luke Trump of the grower. What else is it? The drag is called at 21. Also, tomorrow Frank, Phil Residil will lead an autograph for Gays. That will engage open. Phil, no follow my run. Hans will be signing autographs at noon. All right, one of one. Two Egan, the fifth. Oh, that's the end of the magazine. Just over the press box.
Phil is going to have Miles follow my run. Hanson, but that's a connection. I think it's a great idea. I'm going to tell you today is the Yankees will have these. The players will take part. Bill White told us it all and myself. It's interesting. I've seen these things on. It is. It's a lot of fun. Six. Inside. Two balls, two strikes. Not only fun, but very informative. In the pick up a lot of information from the players. Got a chance to ask him for it. Two pitch now. Get on the ground towards first. By Gator, he steps on the bag to retire Higgins. An unassisted foot out for Danny Peter. And about an hour will be Johnny Gray. Gray's development tree, struck out one. Slide twice to the field. First pitch on.
Inside ball one. Yankees players getting closer to the fans and ever this year with the autograph sessions and which is funny. One open now. Right down the heart of the play is one and one. Base is empty one away. Yankees leading five. Slide one. Here's the pitch. Care ball. Check points. Right call. It's one and two. All the seed lines wins this year have been completely numbered. There's one to deliver. Change up is one. Change up is one. Change up is one. Change up is one. Change up is one. Change up is one. Change up is one. Change up is one. Change up is one. Change up is one. Change up. Change up is one. Down the right field corner. It is fouled. Green's got around. As flying blow the string. Lined it just fouled into the right field corner. Flying has the sign on high.
It comes to ball. Lined foul again down to the right field corner. You don't know what up there do you do. And bring jumping out after the curve ball. Gives you a lot more trouble than a curve ball. Briggs has a quick bet and really likes the ball inside. I played two three years with him with the fill. And he finally got away from there and he's not with no walk. Where he feels he'll be a little more happy. Good job. Fast ball. Hit right back across the prize. He's got it. nis is in the first place. That's all for Briggs. Well, the Boston Red Sox came from behind to beat Minnesota, four to three Red Sox scored three runs in the eighth inning to get the win. Two outs, Dave May is about it. I was right about three times.
Let's just download the Dave May ball one. He's left in about it. Sixteen of the outs by the brewery put it on ground ball. Blind one. Delivered, breaking pitch for strike one and one. Dave's line is that his pitches down, fairs, where he wants them. Sixteen ground outs. One one pitch. Their ball is bowled off his foot. bowled it down off his foot, the ball rolled all the way out to the mouth, and that one heard it. Danny Peters made ten put outs and he has three assists. He went in the old couple of times and behind first one. He's got three good assists and he has ten put outs. So that can show you the kind of a job this line is doing keeping the ball in the infield. All right, his one two pitch here today, May. Last ball is cut on and fouled down the first place line. He's up on the coach's line.
Dave's line. He's wide. Trying to pick up his third one over here. Dave's one more. He does want to kill Dave's first pitch, but you're the winner. There's one in high and deep out towards the goal, but it's going to be way back. They hold on for Dave May. They hold on for Dave May. Out into the bushes, it's in one of the bull times. It's just what's going to be left in the bull times and into the bushes. Both line was two outs and the line-bending loses is shut out. That is the first call of one of the year for Dave May. And now the batter is still blocked the right field or another left hand that is.
It's now a five one ball game and he's leading by four. The draw is four hits. Right, two balls. One one. Clients are injured, loose. Back forward on the ground right side. Walk back up to the grass. It's been slow. Ball game is over. Our spot goes out billboard. Well, the third out. The ball game is over. The Yankees won it. Steve's five walks off the field surrounded by seven months and Danny Ketter. Gene Michael rushing over to shake hands and Steve's five, even though he wants to shut out. In the ninth inning, did him drop fry. We'll have the totals of the recap in just a moment. Once again, the final star is the New York Yankees five and the Milwaukee Brewers won that. Here is totals now on the bar game. Well, the New York Yankees five runs, five at snores. The Milwaukee Brewers won one run, four hits and two errors. These blind going all the way from the win, his third victory and his third complete game, his record is now three in one.
Gip Lockwood, the starter for Milwaukee was the loser. Lockwood has won one now and lost two. These blind, when he puts the shutout for his first one of the year down in Washington, allowed five hits. But did not allow a run, so this is his low hitball game of the season, giving up only four to two Milwaukee. So the club has started again tomorrow afternoon with Stan Bonson fishing for the New York Yankees and Luke's out on the mound for the Milwaukee Brewers. And we hope that you'll come out and see that ball game in person. If you can, of course you can hear it, right here on the Yankees Network with the two right handers, Bonson and Scott.
