It is a beautiful baseball afternoon here. This is a complete sell-out crowd. It's a national holiday in Canada. It is Victoria Day. It is Queen Victoria's birthday, and the day is also observed. As the birthday of the present raining queen, although it actually isn't. But it is a legal national holiday and the standard packed in jam here this afternoon. The capacity of this stadium is 28,456. We might very well have more than that here because already, fans are standing out beyond a low-wire outfield fence. The biggest crowd ever in the history of this ballpark was slightly more than 29,100 on opening day of the season when the St. Louis Cardinals year would have opened up against the Montreal Expose. The New York Mets are the first raining world championship baseball team ever to play here, of course. A big attraction for the day. And the Mets at the moment are two percentage points back of the division leading Chicago Cubs in the Eastern Division of the National League. And thus, if the Mets should win here this afternoon, the Cubs are not scheduled until tonight,
so the Mets would move in the first place in the Eastern Division if they should defeat Montreal this afternoon. Starting pictures for the Montreal Expose, it'll be right-handed Bill Stoneman. And for the New York Mets, it'll be right-handed Gary Gentry, the National Anthems. The Mets'

. . . . . . One ball, one strike. The gun incomes the pitch by Stunman, fouled it back toward the crowd, no play. In the Montreal outfield, Mac Jones isn't left. Jim Ferry, an ex-dadger is in center, surrounded right. Number one Montreal player, La Grande, Orange, Rusty Star. The X-Bulls got off to a horrible start this year. They lost 10 of their first 11 ball games. Now Stunman over the head around comes the arm. Last ball I, it's two and two. On April 25th, Montreal had won one and lost 10. Since that point, they have played 500 ball, winning 11 and losing 11. And they have just returned from a very successful road
trip. The two two delivery pass, Stunman misses outside ball three. Born in York, Yogi Barout, coaching at first base, and Eddie Yost is on the lines at third. Coaching coach, Reub Walker, working in the dugout with Skipper Gil Hodges. And coach Joe Pignantano takes care of the ball pin, which here in Montreal is down the right field line. The three two delivery pass, Stunman. Today's broadcast comes in here to the courtesy of Ryan Goldberg's instruction. And is authorized and already authorized by the New York, not solely for the other team of our listing of. Any publication, reproduction, or other use of the descriptions and accounts of the scheme, without the express written consent of the New York Metzias prohibited. Born in York, butthouse, and stepping in against Bill Stunman, but hitting left handed. The two are first right in the inside corner. Allison, off to a wonderful
year, hitting at 2.93 with 11 RBI's. Bill Stunman, stocky right-handed, pitching for Montreal, has a good curve ball. Fast ball inside. Born in a body, and he does have good stuff, and his problem, of course, is getting his curve ball over. Last year, he got it over well enough to pitch a no-hitter. So far, this year, he has been pitching well about the first five or six innings, and then has been running into trouble. This year, he has 1-1 in law six. Had a foul back against the screen, the point out the point that Ralph was making in the one game, won by Stunman this year, he shut out the Chicago Cubs with three hits. So when he gets it over, he's a tough customer. But, Allison, the better, the count won ball in two strikes. Leon Jones waiting on day. Stunman double pumps in, comes the pitch, breaking ball inside of the knees two and two.
This is the opening game of a three-game series, night games tomorrow night, and Winston had them back home for the meds. Hit foul down the left field, and no play. Best return, a late after the game on Wednesday night, Thursday a day off. And their big one on Friday night is shea against Leo DeRosier Chicago Cubs. The way he'll hide just a new walker of map things out, it looks like all four of the big pitchers will be ready to face the Cubs. Now, breaking ball outside, which would mean Jerry Kuzman on Friday night, Gary Gentry on Saturday, Tom Sever and Nolan Rann on Sunday. Met some of the Cubs playing for Friday night, Saturday afternoon at a Sunday double header. The event sale under a show opened seven days a week for your convenience, so I don't miss that Cubs series. Pitching free in two to but, Allison, high ball for it. So, strumman went free in two on A.C. struck him out, went free in two on how. Hello, it is Ryan, and I was on a flight the other day, playing one of my favorite

I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan, which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. I think I saw Billboard at yours recently that said 20 billion one. 20 billion is an insane number. Yeah, 20 billion recovered. It's actually, I think, somewhere north probably closer to 22, 23 after this year. And each year we get bigger and better and our army grows. So, the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time
goes on. Awesome. So, how does someone get in contact with Morgan Morgan? What would I do if I got into an accident? Probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. That's pound 529 from your cell phone. We are always open. Our call center is always waiting to take your call. 24-7-365. Wow. Dan Morgan from Morgan and Morgan America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. He's due for a good heart streak. Art Chamsky playing first base today and batting cleanup so art comes out on deck. And a throw to first by Bill Stullman. Dick Stullow is the umpire at home.
Al Barley get first, Ed Vargo at second, Paul Pryor at third. Same umpiring team that was in Philadelphia. Now the pitcher in the way a strike on the outside corner. Last year Montreal's first and major league baseball they did sensational. With a very small ballpark seating capacity of just over 28,000 they drew at home a million 250,000. Now for the first by Bill Stullman not in time. Run fairly holding against buddy Harrelson. Bud the club leader and Stullman bases on a team that leads the major leagues and Stullman bases. He has 11 and a squibler foul no play grabbed by Johnny Bateman. Expo's have been very pleased with the defensive work of John Bateman has compared to previous euros. They credited to his weight-reducing program. Bateman 32 pounds lighter this year than last.
They call it the Jean-Marx system. It only cost you 800 dollars. Jean said at a hundred dollars a pound overweight it's pretty easy to lose weight. You'd worry it off. You wouldn't have to worry about dieting it off. Two strike canon, Clean Jones. But Harrelson on first one out first and England were just underway. So legal holiday in Canada and we have a standing room crowd. Now I throw the first Estoneman keeps an eye on Bud Harrelson. One thing we notice about Bud Harrelson this year in his stolen bases. He has been getting a much bigger lead than he ever has in the past. Bud has stolen 11 bases in just 13 attempts. But infield might be just a little bit slow to run on. And a throw to first base they did have a lot of rain yesterday. No rain today but the infield looks to be a little bit soft. The centerfielder Jim Ferry is playing
Clean Jones to hit the ball toward the Allian ride center. He plays him several strides toward ride center and the pitch foul ball back toward our bracket. He has to go to no play. The hurricane player following the flight of the ball as it travels down the backstop screen. Fans here in Montreal have a great time just as they do at Shae Stadium. They are very much a part of the ball game. Now Stoneman delivers at a high pop up displayable near home plate. Bateman gets rid of the mask. Near the plate and foul grab he takes it to the out. And for you I'm going to get that one to settle. I don't have a chance to give it a hard hitting at 319 or 4 homeruns and 15 runs bad at it. Shamsky has 4 homeruns in his last 5 ball games. That's been rained out twice on this road trip.
They played their first 32 games this year without a rain out. One game rained out in Chicago yesterday's game rained out in Philadelphia. Now the second baseman, Marv Staley of the Expo's, shades toward the hole on the right side of the infield. Against Shamsky, a pole hitter. Outside in high ball one for the first, not in time. But Halson is getting back to first in the crowd reacting and applauding John Bateman for trying to pick off but Halson. Ken Boswell is on deck. Now the pitch on the way is swinging on a miss and a slow curve ball. Bill Stunman changing up off of his curve in the canvas even. Nolan Ryan has rejoined the block. Love he was away in Texas doing military duty over the weekend. Now Ron Felly holds against Bat Halson in the count one one to our Shamsky.
I throw the first, Halson diving to get back. That brings the ooze the eyes from the crowd. There's no doubt about the fact that Montréal knows that the Metz have been running because of discussion up here and also the stories that have been on the fact whether Bateman will be able to stop the Metz running attack. Metz will have been running against every ball club in the major leagues. Let's see if they can run on Johnny Bateman. And Halson is picked off the heavy minute run back. Felly runs but Halson towards second gives the ball the Bobby Ryan. Ryan runs him back to first base for Halson this ready man just picked off. The play goes. Stunman Felly to line to the pitcher who made the tag near first base. No runs, no hits, no errors and none left on. That's the first time this year but it's been picked off trying to build at least. And the score on the middle of the first inning when the New York Metz nothing and the Montréal expose coming to bat. Bad Murphy with Ralph Cainer
and Lindsay Nelson last of the first in Montréal. Gary Gentry pitching for the New York Metz Gary 4 and 1 on the year with a 1.7 earned run average. And Marv Staley leads off the second baseman batting left takes it outside ball what? Marv Staley in 25 games batting at 262. Staley is choking up on the handle the bat and Gentry's fastball is in for a co-strike it's one and one. Gary is last outing in Chicago. He had a no hitter until two were out of the eighth inning when Ernie Banks single the left field. Gary wound up with a one hit shutout. Now the one won delivery and a curve hit in the year at a left center field. Tommy A.G. got it being in and over toward the alley next to catch. One out of nobody on coming up to hit Mac Jones the left fielder. Back hitting 242. Gary Gentry and 52 winnings are pitching this year has a lot of 29 baseman.
And that's team earned an average now down to 2.8 following three consecutive shutouts. Now Gentry out of his wind up here's the pitch curve is high last year as the match won the world championship. They're pitching staff considered to be the best at an overall team earned an average of 2.99. Why don't the world hit the left field by Mac Jones clean and running toward the line? And it drops into a base. Jones is on his way to 7 and he's on the double. And that's Jones a full hitter that playing well around the right. And he hit a fly ball right down the left field and he had after a long run at the 4-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2. Dust him side the line. A fly ball double down the left field and by left hand hitter and Mac Jones. Rusty. Rusty. Rusty a good hitter. He's having 3-13 with four home runs and 20 runs batted in.
So far this year the expose have been a better ball club on the road than they have been at home. They are 9 and 13 on the road they've lost 8 of 11 at home. But those early home losses came when they were going so bad. Fast ball inside ball one. As we mentioned the expose had a disastrous start losing 10 of their first 11. But since then they've played 500 ball 11 and 11. And they've just come back off of a trip in which they won four of six games. Which by a gentry curve misses the outside corner. Two balls and no strikes to Rusty. Gary Gentry has won four and lost one. Let's have the outfield around a ride against Rusty's style. He can pull the ball. And a fast ball over the letters of strike gets two and one. Tomorrow night and Wednesday night the last two games of this road trip for New York
will be broadcasting and televising both of the games back to New York. Jimmy Bregan coaching at first and Dick Williams on the lines of third. Far back toward the screen. Very gritty working behind the plate in the infield. Gilles has our Chamsky playing first. Ken Boswell at second. But House of the Short and Joe Foy at third. Leon Jones and left field Tommy Aegean center and Dave Marshall is playing right field. A standing room crowd all around the outfield. And the pitch foul the back over into the crowd. No play. The left field bleachers are completely filled. And the overflow the standing crowd now scratches from the point where the bleachers end and left center. Behind the fence in center field and all the way behind the fence to the right field almost to the scoreboard area. Right up to the bullpen.
And the pitch on the way to high and stop. Let's it go. So Gentry now has worked the count full three and two on rusty stop. One away a runner on second. No score. Last of the first inning. Ron Ferley is the on deck better. Pitching three and two ball four. You must have been sad with a fastball. Ron Ferley hitting it to 73 and batting clean up the expose now. We're hit against Gary. Come for you with him and all. Ferley was with the Badgers. I love him a half years before being created in Montreal. Every came to the expose last year and get a good job. That's a good year. The on deck hitter is Jim Ferley also a former dadger. Now Gentry pitches from the stretch. Breaking ball off the outside corner. One ball at no strikes.
Let's have the infield hoping for a chance to make the double play. But Harold since she had it towards second and Joe for a very wide of the line of third against the left-hand hitter. Basketball outside. Two balls in no strikes. Expo's have a thread here in the first inning. Mac Jones with a fly ball. Double is on second rusty. Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing. Victory Lane. Yeah, it's even better with Chamba by my side. Race to Chamba Casino dot com. Let's Chamba. No purchase necessary. VTW Group. Boyd we're prohibited by law. CT and C's. 21 plus sponsored by Chamba Casino. I've got Dan Morgan here on the pod. Say hi, Dan. Hey, how's it going today? It's going good, man. Tell us who you are and what you do. I'm Dan Morgan. I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan, which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. I think I saw Billboard years recently that said 20 billion one. 20 billion is an insane number.
Yeah, 20 billion recovered. It's actually, I think, somewhere north probably closer to 22, 23 after this year. And each year we get bigger and better and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on. Awesome. So how does someone get in contact with Morgan and Morgan? What would I do if I got into an accident? Probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. That's pound 529 from your cell phone. We are always open. Our call center is always waiting to take your call. 247 365. Wow, Dan Morgan from Morgan and Morgan America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. Abel the walk is unfurled. Now Gentry behind on Ron Farley delivers. Fastball in a call strike two and one. Jerry Grody sings out the information now to Gary Gentry. Aegee leans a bit more toward right center against Ron Farley.
And the pitch too high. Gentry working behind to clean up better three and one. Now Ron Farley it with a count three and one will really be tightening the grip on that bat handle and looking for a pitch to hit. Let's keep an eye on the bass runners. Mac Jones on second stab on first. The free one delivery high pop up in foul ground may go out of play. Back comes Jerry Grody hoping it's in the crowd. The count goes to three and two. This is the only day game in the major leagues. Let's start the afternoon only two percentage points behind the cubs in the eastern division. Now the count three and two again will check the runners they were holding up on the free one delivery. Grody has a strong arm neither bass runner exceptionally fast.
Here's the stretch. The runners are going the pitch fouled right straight back no play. So I'm free into Gene Mark Hadham going. Here's a pretty good question for you. If you had to pick who had the most all the bases on the expose who would you pick? Well I know the answer but I wouldn't pick it. Rusty's job has six out of seven and Ron Farley the hitter has five out of five and neither one of them are fast. Three and two on Ron Farley. Mac Jones on second rusty stab on first. Farley has something in his eye so he steps out of the batter's box for a moment. Jim Ferry a left hand hitter in the center fielder is the on deck better. Agey now is pull far over in the right center against Farley the left hand pull hitter. Let's check the runners as Gentry makes the stretch. Pick off a 10th or a second he's back pretty close play. Mac Jones had the hurry to get back but House and darting in to take the peg from your agentry.
It's three and two on Ron Farley the last of the first the runners edge away. The runners are going the pitch is high that loads the bases. Well on a base in a couple and two walks the expose and the base is loaded one out. I'm sorry I left hand hitter that in 45 the two homerun two seven runs better than and your agentry has dug a peak hole for himself there in the first one. An overflow crowd at Jerry Park on Queen Victoria Day in Canada. Now Gentry looking into Grady for his sand. He works off the stretch in a swing and a strike one he would after a hand hard one. Mac Jones is now on third rusty stab on second and Ron Farley is on first.
Barry hits left handed again Agey plays him over to the right center but Haroldson shakes towards second for a on the even with the bag but wide of the line at third. Fast ball a strike on the outside corner and Gentry bearing down to his task now has the advantage. Coco LeBoy the third base when is the on decoder first time in five batters that Gentry has been ahead of the hitters now the stretch by Gentry makes the one second stop here's the pitch and a ground ball at the buddy Haroldson he flips the ball about as well one the first place that will play on the side is up six four three as Haroldson starts the double play that he erases the threat that's a big one no runs one hit no errors and two left on at the end of one inning but he yards much nothing and the Montreal exposed nothing one is at the official age but it's all I can do and that's very rare let's do that but then let the Gislander get there was at the moment he'll be able to explain he's yet not
all right shamsky will resume his time at bat hard was hitting when bread Haroldson was picked up and put out in a rundown play between first and second that retired the side in the top of the first inning well it's marvelous whether you're around much better than we had to shaggle and fill it off you I got a kick at Iran fairly we were talking about what a great day it was the day so it's the best day we had in fact you said would you believe that we played a game out here and they treated one customer for frostbite well it has been less than two weeks ago about ten days ago they had something like five or six inches of snow in the ballpark he said they played a game when the temperature was down to 16 degrees that's too cold I suggest that you wear your shirt on it for the game tomorrow night art shamsky art shamsky we'll be leading off against chunky right-hander bill stoneman stoneman a curve ball pitcher out of his land up delivers curve pull foul back toward
kinnybyes well in the on deck circle the x-boars are managed by a gene lock first of all pepper a little skipper he uses jimmy brigand and dick Williams on the coaching lines his pitching coaches cal McLeish now to wind up and the epistachem fouled off the outside corner big you burn one ball and strike there is a huge public park out beyond the outfield fence here in the jury park area tremendous swimming pool over beyond the right-fuel fence the one-one delivery has taken high at two and one last year will a stargill of the parrots hit one so far over the right-fuel fence of landed in the swimming pool gene mock and the surface that it had to travel 687 and a half feet now stoneman winding the epistachem to shamsky foul back into the screen to undo
you see people just rolling around out of the park area every now and then somebody goes buy on horseback crowd here today will be near 29th house and it could even be a record crowd every seat has been sold standing remotely now to wind up the two-two delivery swinging on a messy gutting that's the second strike out for Bill stoneman and it brings up Ken by as well but I don't think this is a legal holiday in Canada all of the government office buildings are closed however the stores are open now Ken by as well in the nice delayed tonight Philadelphia will be at Pittsburgh Jim Bunning against Bob Moose the cup display at Cincinnati with Bill Hanz going against Ray Walshburn
round ball bounced on the right side of the van and fielded by Marv Staley he puts the ball to run fairly to that two outs and nobody on Dave Marshall that day voting 289 what's in runs about him so some out of yesterday he wanted a double header from the Atlanta Bray if someone to fire their hole in the western division they lead by six same loss will be a Houston that I'd Bob give something as seven game winner Larry Durker yesterday Jim Merritt won his eighth now to wind up by Stoneman and a slow curve it's a risk like one call if he's getting his curve ball over the Dodger's plan San Diego tonight San Dvance against Dan Coon the odd field around toward right and Marshall pops the ball up on the right side of the infield round fairly in between first and second has it to be out very strong innings for Bill Stoneman
let's get out one way three no rounds no hits no errors and none left and the score on the middle of the second here it's Jerry Park and Montreal the New York match starting in the Montreal that's close that's he's got let's watch it be let's go jump back go ball of boy it comes up against Gary Gentry bottom half of the second in the American with the Matthew Orioles and the Yankees play in the city and Mike play our against Fritz Peterson birds have a six game lead in the division Yankees have been playing very well Tigers will be in Boston the Tigers trying to snap a five game losing streak they hope it's Joe Negro against Sunny Seabird now Gentry winding here's the pitch on the way fouled it back over the press box no play clear Linda at Washington the senators have dropped nine in a row tonight it's very more against George Brunette Minnesota Kansas City Jim Cod against Bill Butler in California at Chicago Andy Messer spent the against Billy Wendell now the pitch to Coco and the fastball is over the strength one call Coco Lebois hit again 143 this time last year he was
tearing up the league he had an outstanding rookie season now Gentry is siding in slatter off the outside corner one ball and two strikes Johnny Bateman is the on deck better then the shortstop Bobby wine the one two pitch fastball off the outside corner to undo Mets are in shape Friday night playing the cubs Friday night Saturday afternoon at a big double header on Sunday then the St. Louis Cardinals come into shape her hit foul deep down the left field and he was way out in front Cardinals will be in New York for three games two night games and a day game in the middle of the week the 26th 27th and 28th of May then the Astros for a four game weekend serious including a

faster than that shot play now at chamba casino dot com let's chamba sponsored by Chamba Casino no purchase necessary VGW group voidware prohibited by law 21 plus terms and conditions apply I've got Dan Morgan here on the pod say hi Dan hey how's it going today it's going good man tell us who you are and what you do I'm Dan Morgan I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan which is America's largest injury law firm that's pretty awesome um I think I saw billboard of yours recently it said 20 billion one 20 millions insane number yeah 20 billion recovered it's actually I think somewhere north probably closer to 22 23 after this year and each year we get bigger and better and our army grows so the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on awesome so how does someone doing the contact with Morgan Morgan what what would I do if I got into an accident probably the easiest way is dialing pound law that's pound five two nine from your cell phone we are always open our call centers always
waiting to take your call 24 7 365 Wow Dan Morgan from Morgan and Morgan America's largest injury law firm thanks for coming by the show thanks for having me visit for the people dot com for an office near you that's my gentry curve out the outside corner and one ball one strike and if he hits one here you're going to get a letter from every superstitious fan in New York now there's nobody superstitious in baseball here's the one one delivery fastball low and outside two and one I'll take my chances you weren't superstitious would you play to where you never stepped on the lines that's the only thing that I really had anything going for me on told I didn't count it's two and one is gentry triggers it and a strike on the outside corner good looking fastball two and two son bateman umpiring the pitch did not agree with the man behind the plate dixtello that one other one that I think is pretty good I'd like to touch all the bases on a home run it behooves you to do so lead to two delivery foul back towards the screen
and out of play one thing about it when you hit it far enough you can take your time to look for the base you don't have to worry about missing it be surprised how many times you miss first base all trying to watch the ball go out of ballpark you're not supposed to admire you're supposed to hit up it's two and two now on Johnny Bateman now gentry sides in down comes the pitch foul back toward our broadcasting booth no play I believe Ralph that you can get a land drive on starball back into this broadcasting booth that you couldn't handle with the pencil very easily that wouldn't be gripped on that pencil in swing away now the two two delivery and I face it through the hole that's terrible the end zone's been turned to that bateman as I'm going to sing a little bit I don't beat you up right before the X-Boars the second hit the batter will be Bobby or start to understand why hitting a two on the line has two homers and he'll have an RBS
Bobby an excellent filter with a powerful brewing arm from East Northport Long Island he has made an excellent comeback following surgery for a slip disc now the pitch bad gentry fastball just missus ball what for the ballgame he was talking with art champsky who has back treble and showing him a special type brace that he wears and he also has another thing that he wears and call whether that that's around to keep his back warm foul back over the screen no play that's probably the most important thing a thing of all is keeping your back warm and you have a problem like that art champsky certainly goes through all the precautions he gets a special rub down with the kind of blend of what they use for the pitcher's shoulders keep his back good and warm particularly in this early part of the year when we have some chilly weather the one on delivery low and outside two and one
no score last of the second an overflow crowd at Jerry Park and Montreal for the opening game of the three game series now gentry spits to Bobby wine he gets the outside right really turning out to see the world champions and actually against the Montreal expose what a day to play high cloud cover but it's warm it's near 70 degrees and the wind does not affect her in the game two two delivery fouled back over the dugout behind first and up into the crowd I want to stay close to you to not rip so we go to one of those French restaurants you can read the menu for me I have a little trouble two two delivery line hard in the center field at least hit by Bobby wine 80 grams it on the first step and the expose are threading again they have runners on first and second one out
stradding out the day it's going to be a struggle for Gary gentry so bell strong man the Montreal pitcher comes up Gary gentry conferred with Joe boy as they work out how they want to play this one situation how gritty he goes after the man Mars staley the second baseman and lead off better waiting on deck staley has been going good as a hitter let's see how Jean Mark plays it those dumb and not known for his hitting prowess has had one hit in 16 times at bat and our chaniski comes up the line now toward home looking for the buck bateman the runner on second is slow they're also going to try and keep him close to pitch full swing and a foul ball back up toward the press box because Johnny bateman is a very slower foot seen Mark I imagine decided to take his chances and swing away runners on first and second one man down
now let's see if they have him swinging away or if they change the play Bill stoneman is not sure how he wants to get out of there and check with Dick Williams the coach of third or there's one thing you really want to know and that's the correct sign and what you have to do in this situation let's still look for the bun he does try to bun and miss a strike too so I was changed and again stoneman takes a good hard look now let's see if they haven't tried a month or third strike knowing what to be a bunch of foul he's a strike getting back to that French menu just remember that poison doesn't mean what you think it means doesn't mean poison huh that's right don't get nervous you're a big friend that a big help and I'm glad to be with you now gently in the start position delivers high and outside what does it mean Ralph just don't get into that oh all right how do you find out it's a fool eh yeah that's how you pronounce it all right and we better take Lindsey with us the one two delivery swinging on a mercy gun him
now there are two away two outs and two on nose doors second inning Mario Staley the leader batter comes up against Gary Gentry Mario Staley the little competitor left-hand hitter batting at 2.59 with eight runs battered in teen math has been for tuning Gary Sutherland and Mario Staley at second base so for the second inning in a row Gary Gentry trying to dig out of the hole expose had the basis loaded in the first inning curve a swing on a strike one left-fielder and Mac Jones is on deck in the outfield the meds play staley is straight away he will hit the ball from the line to line but house and shades towards second and Joe foie is even with the bag wide of the line at third now the pitch fastball inside one ball and one strike to staley
last year here at jury park the meds one six of the nine and the pitch on the way fastball high it's two and one Gary does not have the control that he enjoyed his last outing in Chicago but then again how often can you have that kind of control it's two and one on my own staley two runners take a lead and it's right before the all you write to her field is going to be in-bred base right looking on a half-time day of marshal running the store and yes close three ball gets loose and staley goes to second forty grand fish and yet goes runners on second third and run home it is scored a single and second on the throw for my staley ball is not hit hard but it was perfectly placed in the alley in the right center marshal and he's he boasts it around right
now Mac Jones is the hitter of runners on second and third one run in exposed lead one nothing right exposed now have one run on three hits here in the last of the second Jones ad dangerous center third was over a strike call well and let's pitch east to have it gone twenty nine scoreless onnings before yielding that run first run scored against the pitch east on the road trip that's where the infield and the outfield rather deep and around or right against Mac Jones he had a fly ball double right down the left field land his first time up and he's hit by the pitch and that loads him up breaking ball got away from your agent the bases are loaded and rusty style is coming up well this is quite a moment of wristball game things to get out of hand right here we close for a station in the kitchen which is the new yard net space for
another one this is your new york met baseball station in serotonous springs new york wk a j f m one oh two point three on your dial bad Murphy with Ralph Cainer and Lindsay Nelson last of the second in Montreal this is a big moment of this game exposed lead one nothing but they have the bases loaded two down on their best hitter up rusty style down card well runs down to the bullpen this time warming up now the wind up by gentry here's the pitch popped up at his playable a near third base Joe Foy in foul round his under it makes the catcher this side is out so gentry has the answer in the gym and gets the big hitter rusty style one run three hits no errors and three left on exposed a left fire than the first two innings the score at the end of two at your party Montreal exposed more and have the yard met nothing well with the plane of the chic of air be in the background I introduced you Lindsay Nelson
thank you very much Ralph Cainer and hello again everybody on a national holiday here in Montreal the fan here packed and jammed into this baseball bright it is a bit of a big impact shot it's great but what do you think? the experts have taken a one nothing lead and Joe Foy is coming up to lead off for the New York Met boy up for his first time this afternoon hitting 220 thank you thank batting seven or for your basement number five Joe Foy has one home right and he has twelve runs battered in all right and batter facing red hand pitcher build stoneman stoneman end of the motion here's a big curve ball and it's in there for us off strike Tyler Reddick here from 2311 racing another checkered flag for the books time to celebrate with chamba jump in at chamba casino dot com let's chamba no purchase necessary bgw crook boy we're prohibited by mall ct and c 21 plus sponsored by chamba casino
i've got dan morgan here on the pod say hi dan hey how's it going today it's going good man tell us who you are and what you do i'm dan morgan i'm an attorney and a managing partner at morgan and morgan which is america's largest injury law firm that's pretty awesome um i think i saw billboard of yours recently it said 20 billion one 20 billion is an insane number yeah 20 billion recovered it's actually i think somewhere north probably closer to 22 23 after this year and each year we get bigger and batter and our army grows so the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on awesome so how does someone doing contact with morgan and morgan what what would i do if i got into an accident probably the easiest way is dialing pound law that's pound five two nine from your cell phone we are always open our call centers always waiting to take your call twenty four seven three sixty five wow dan morgan from morgan and morgan america's largest injury law firm thanks for coming by the show thanks for having me visit for the people dot com for an office near you very gritty it's waiting on deck
again stoneman takes a sign and the pitch to four misses way outside and low it's one one the officials of the experts were aware that they might very well have one of their big all-time crowd here this afternoon and they got it one one delivery breaks low and away two and one on this corresponding date last year this particular holiday the experts were on the road so they didn't have the advantage of the opportunity to draw a big holiday crowd on this date last year two one pitch and it's in there for a cold strike it's two and two salmon came with a fastball they shade boy around a little toward right
Montreal won the match nothing here's a swing on a ground ball foul it hops over the met dug out behind first and on up into the lower field boxes the grandstand here is one deck uncovered this entire area not only the ballpark but this entire area is jerry park two two pitch curve balls and on the ground back to the mound taken by stone runs he goes over the first line fairly in this one away that is just a little right off the end the boys that they will bring up jerry grody we will be back on side to to continue the game you know it takes performance style and power to make a championship team and the championship car this is the number that's what it takes to be the official car of the match the catcher number 50 jerry grody grody's up for his first time hitting 193 with five runs battered in
the bill stone man and six losses foul back and it's out of place so it goes a strike one jerry gentry wearing the jacket is on deck and that's where rained out yesterday and Philadelphia came directly to Montreal pitch break high it's one one they allowed that to hotel sometime around 6 p.m. we're in the top half of the third inning now the one one pitch break low and away stone man goes to one the jerry grody and that's do not yet have a base hit off those stone man in this ballgame
jerry has struggled through the first two innings getting out with only one run being scored against him to one pitch curve ball it's high so now stone man goes behind three and one the grody the fans here in Montreal have really taken to big league baseball they're responsive they enjoy it to the fullest here's the 3-1 delivery strong on a miss so it's out for now it's 3-2 makes you wonder what they would do if they had a ball club in Toronto they're other major city out here on this side of Canada I know when I played there in 1943 Montreal was very responsive to minor league baseball of course they had minor league ball here too this would be a payout pitch and it's lowly walk game so the met pick up a bass runner on the second walk issue here today
by Bill Stoneman he walked out from the first inning and out and was caught up also there you'll find a gerry gently bang nice for a pitcher number 39 gerry gently at 1 for 15 he has one run battered in and he is hitting point 0-6-7 third-doseman co-cola boy comes in on the edge of the grass gently squares months and misses strike one and going back to first is grody the sacrifice was on with a g on deck there's one man out the Montreal experts won and the New York met nothing the met's 2 percentage points back of the division leading Chicago Cup here's the pitch outside again gentry was around
has heard about and fairly was charging hard miss posted first face but it was out of the strike zone so it's one and one let's be here again tomorrow night again on Wednesday night and they come back to New York opening up on Friday night against Leo de Rocher Chicago Cubs a chase stadium third of first night in time that's their agenda with a Sunday double header met's in the Cubs Sunday the 24th at J here's the pitch now it's low in a way gentry again was around the bind it's too far from the strike they're really putting the pressure on with the first baseman charging very strongly and the third baseman starting from a very shallow position coming in very closely you have to take a good bite to move the runner down the second storm has gone behind now where they count a two-barrel and one strike
the boy stays in on the grass it's third here's the pitch gentry square as much the ball foul off to the right side out of play so they can't see even a two-two next Saturday the met's and the Chicago coach will be playing a chase stadium and that'll be Lutheran day four thousand Lutheran church members will be on hand they used to nesters will be at shape Friday night May 29th for American Legion night five thousand American Legionnaires will be at shape on Friday night May 29th good he leads it first two two pitches around and plugs about off the ball out of the strike some three and two and they can just insert the ball on by the seller on here comes Gene Mark the edge for the contending that can't be printed at the ball and now they're asking the opinion of our ballie got it first place and ballie seems to be indicating that he thinks he did
now you'll give her a strike in the ball extending to her hands on it to gentry my close back to the so gentry he's out on strike he's out on strike that's all it's made by our ballie got it first the manager can come out of the dugout and request the home plate on by to ask the assistance of an umpire either at first to serve the umpire first on the right hand battle the umpire stood on the left hand battle and when the opinion of our ballie was asked he was the opinion of gentry had bonnet at the ball that's the third strike out for Stoneman that brings Tommy A.G. up he's been up one time with Stoneman on strike so he takes his lead at first Stoneman off the stretch goes over Gordy's back
there's a swing in the foul ball back and out of play well many things happen progressively during the course of any special trade or profession and for many years it was sort of a secret sign that the umpires on the basis gave to the plate umpire to assist them in making a call on a cheque swing or a half swing it was pre-arranged between them that you have to have also there was something that went on but you didn't know exactly how now the umpires openly asked for assistance the manager can require him to ask and i certainly have never seen so many decisions reversed as we've seen already this year there's a swing in a foul ball back and out of play it's one and two and the old age lunacy the umpire behind own plate felt that he didn't make all the calls and it appeared that way that he would not have the authority that he figured he had
you can't see Bill Clem ever asking another umpire fee to get any help this would be a one two pitch sure ball and it's high too it's good I can't see Bill Clem changing his call even if the umpires at both corners taking another while Bill Clem was the dean of the umpires and recognizes the person who never made a bad call he said he never missed one in his heart this will be a two two pitch foul back and it's out of play as far as Frankie fish was concerned he missed a few they had a marvelous feud between them that are alive you're out of the game
sort of a favorite umpire story is it certified it's not in time house and waiting on death two men out two two pitch strong on and little time in the senior field and this is going to be in there for a face of goodies on his way to third Jim Faris up for the ball plays in in in the second standing at third his goady and on it first he has A.G. with a looping single and a center that'll bring up Brad Harrelson sir I'm talking about this is between Bill Clem and Frankie Fish and a call was made by Clem and Fish just in Mark Harrah stiffened and fell over backwards and lay very still and of course nobody knew really what had happened to him and the players all gathered in the trainer and Fish was lying very motionless and Clem stood at as long as he could and then he walked over and leaned over across and said Dutchman did or alive you're out of the game
when there's a first and third what's up foos men of it j-oos all here from the WWE when it's just me between matches is day one itch that means it's chumba time with hundreds of casino style games and new titles arriving weekly there's always something fresh to try at chumba casino the daily booze make it even more fun and have me about to get them all doing my down time ready for a fun way to chill out and enjoy a few minutes for yourself let's chumba no purchase necessary VGW group void were prohibited by law ct's and c's 21 plus sponsored by chumba casino I've got Dan Morgan here on the pod say hi Dan hey how's it going today it's going good man tell us who you are and what you do I'm Dan Morgan I'm an attorney and a managing partner at more than Morgan which is America's largest injury law firm that's pretty awesome um I think I saw billboard years recently that said that 20 billion one 20 millions insane number yeah 20 billion recovered it's actually I think somewhere north probably closer to 22 23 after this year and each year we get bigger and batter and our army grows so the
number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on awesome so how does someone get in contact with Morgan and Morgan what what would I do if I got into an accident probably the easiest way is dialing pound law that's pound five two nine from your cell phone we are always open our call centers always waiting to take your call 24 seven three sixty five wow Dan Morgan from Morgan and Morgan America's largest injury law firm thanks for coming by the show thanks for having me visit for the people dot com for an office near you the fish to house and break floor and inside for a ball ever when he pulled was when a batter didn't like it call it through the batter from the air and he said if that bat comes down you're out of the game house and spend up one time through a walk good is the runner of third age yet first the experts are leading the meds by a score of one to nothing we're in the top of the third sunman sets up not check here's the pitch turned him inside of the shoulder so it's two and all Leon Jones is on deck no
Nolan Ryan has rejoined the met he was away for weekend military duty might very well be the starter in tomorrow night's game I'm fever I'll be pitching for the met you on Wednesday night two old bitch inside it's three and a one out of house and don't mind comes down to our question the call and bateman back over he showed us saying a word or two bateman coming back now as a word or two to say to umpire Dick Seller Seller is the junior member of this particular umpiring quartet you age yet first grotto yet third a three old pitch he walked him turned him inside the basses allotted for Leon Jones that's the third walk issued by sunman two of them to bat up
Jones and a one-tamety fouled out to the catcher there Leon with a season's average of one eighty four but in the spot right here where a bassist could do the met calls a lot of good the x4s are leading him by a score of one to nothing to sunny afternoon you're in Montreal comfortably warm some cloud cover overhead so runners lead at first second and third starman takes the sign working straight away and to the motion the pitch to Leon Jones serve ball in the time our chance to time deck and here comes manager Jean Mach out of the drug out and going to the mount the
organist for an envelope here strikes up a turn and started giving a little cadence for Jean Mach to march to and he was on the way out to the mount more than one general manager in the national league that offered to trade the module I like sports out of their organist and the good answer is bilingual cloud moot John and I know he's tired of that angel her most though it's no longer with the expose because he used to get described back to the out in the eyes the way he pronounced the name now march back to the drug out the bases are loaded ball one is a kind to Leon Jones as Bill Stumman looks in for a sign mid-runters lead at first second and third starman starts back off the rubber Leon is stepped out at the flight
hi Jones settles himself back in 30 a third a.g. at second right here also miss it first one oh big Chuck swing foul ball up and out of play so it's one and one now it's a Leon Jones we're going to get a little action down in the bull fan of the Montreal experts here in the top half of the third how we read here's the picture Jones and it's in their best ball down the fight for a tall strike Jones took it and it's one and two right and a how we read throwing down there for Montreal so the count has gone out of one ball and two strikes to Leon again catch your John Bateman send out a sign
the bases are loaded with two men out here's a one two pitch someone in foul back he still alive just got a little of it Jones in the thrills of a batting slump trying to battle his way out one of the problems with the batting slump is frequently you take the good pitches and swing on the bad ones Jones back in now now chips out now comes back in defensively they showed him a little toward right these days those don't have one two delivery so far the fight has returned for a strike out for John so it is no one's a hit no there is too much in three left
and a little of a third in the score as Montreal won him the match nothing there at Jerry Park in Montreal it's the match in the experts to the bottom of the third John Ron fell in the first statement coming up and up one time and drew a walk he's hitting 293 make that 273 Jerry Gentry with the pitch I had a way for a ball Gentry has struggled through the first two innings the experts had the bases loaded in each of the first two innings scored one run in the second John Cardwell was warming up at the finish of the second for the match here is a pitch low Gentry goes behind 2 and 0 and his last previous appearance Gentry had the one hitter the strong one hitter against the Chicago Cubs
now the two old pitch to Ron Farley hung on his line here down the right field line Kevin over toward the stands and it's going to go into the seats and out of play Dave Marshall came over Marshall's in right field today and our Chamsky is playing first place as manager Gil Hodges has gone back to Platoon let's Platoon last year right on up through the championship playoff and the world theory they platoon themselves to the world championship there's a swing in a foul ball off and out of play Jimmy Bragan the coach at first out sitting tosses it back out to Gentry a count of two balls and two stripes fans are standing two and three deep all around the outfield fence it's a low wire fence and beyond it they're standing right to the ball it's high so it goes three and two now to
Ron Farley with Jim Ferry on deck fans are sitting on the ground down in front of the lowest rows of the bleachers I didn't love there's a swimming pool considerably beyond the right field fence here it's three hundred forty feet to the powerful and three sixty-eight to point out in front of the scoreboard will he start you know the power it's last year you hit one into the swimming pool here's a pitch swan on it in the edge of center three of an age he goes back he's there running around and he makes the chat it's four hundred twenty feet to the low wire fence and straight away center one away and in the bottom of the third and Jim Ferry is coming up now but at one time he didn't do a double flight
here's the pitch inside for a ball it is a legal holiday in Canada so that all the government offices are closed today most of the smaller shops are closed the larger department stores are open bitches in for a call strike it's one and one one man had nobody on base your agentry's pitch swung on out to the left side out of place coke gola boy is waiting on deck we'll be broadcasting and televising tomorrow night at eight o'clock New York time my pitch and misses outside and again we'll be pitching tomorrow night for the expose he's the left-handed who defeated Tom Sever and the Mets last week in New York here's a two-two pitch swung on
foul of each and him it's right off the handle coming back out of play and they can't hold it too more than I'll be pitching on Wednesday night here for the expose against the Mets Tom Sever Gary Gentry offers two two fong on foul out they can't continue Montreal won the Mets nothing some of the young ball players who had not been here often if at all having a great time on the bus coming out with the French signs trying out their high school French with a two-two pitch curve ball he comes up and makes the catch to run around line drive out there and coke gola boy is coming up now he's going to point time and
strike out so we're sitting one forty one he's been in the throw in the remaining club he's had six lines battered into here seven nine years in the minors Tyler Reddick here from 2311 racing victory lane yeah it's even better with chumba by my side race to chumba casino dot com let's chumba don't purchase necessary VTW group boy we're prohibited by law CT and C's 21 plus sponsored by chumba casino I've got Dan Morgan here on the pod say hi Dan Hey how's it going today it's going good man tell us who you are and what you do I'm Dan Morgan I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan which is America's largest injury law firm that's pretty awesome um I think I saw billboard of yours recently it said that 20 billion one 20 million is an insane number yeah 20 billion recovered it's actually I think somewhere north probably closer to 22 23 after this year and each year we get bigger and
batter and our army grows so the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on awesome so how does someone get in contact with Morgan and Morgan what what would I do if I got into an accident probably the easiest way is dialing pound law that's pound 529 from your cell phone we are always open our call centers always waiting to take your call 247 365 Wow Dan Morgan from Morgan and Morgan America's largest injury law firm thanks for coming by the show thanks for having me visit for the people dot com for an office near you in the same place cardinal system before being obtained by the experts and the expansion draft curve balls from out and miss strike one very good he flashed his sign for gentry pitches on the corner for a throw strike two or in two to the boy
and the old two pitch just a lot of them it got him out in front struck him out so gentry as his third strike out he got the side in order first strong any he's had no runs oh it's not my mouth out of the end of three four learning to play the score as the expert wanting them at setting this is Lindsay Nelson with Ralph Canter and Bobby and Montreal through three learning to play the action is leading them that's by a score of one to nothing and now our champs keeps coming up he's been up one time and he struck out the capacity of the listed capacity of this ballpark is 28,456 guess we have a little more than that here's a pitch outside one and oh Ken Boswell is next in the mad batting order
stormant pitch breaks inside low and it's two and oh a bit quite a job here Lindsay in putting this park up because it was just a little playground park and had capacity of about 5,000 seats they added out all the other seats made a very attractive ballpark out of it here's a two-row pitch and it's in there for a call strike well you're exactly right it was a playground ballpark and the capacity really at that time was 2,500 and when word got to some of the people around the national league that they had exceeding capacity of 2,500 they said you mean 25 thousand they said no it means 2,500 but they certainly did a great job in getting it together here's a swing in a drive out in the center field and Jim Ferry is there to make the shot so Shampski had gone out for the first out in the fourth inning and Ken Boswell is up and up one time he granted out second to first he's a medic that had only one base out of it stormant it was a single looping single by AG to center field in the third
inning and that side the base is loaded then with two men out and Plyon Jones struck out to end the inning there's a swing in a ground ball it's going to go through in the right field for a base hit gone fairly down for it came up empty and turning and holding it first it's Ken Boswell with a ground singular right a second hit for the match off Bill Stunman coming up high as Dave Marshall Marshall's been a point time and he popped out to first base
Stunman us that's up checks the runner at first curve ball and it's low Stunman is struck out four and walked three here this afternoon one out delivery and it's in for a call shot he's playing at the outside of the broadcast but this is the first time that the reigning world champion to baseball ever appeared here last year of course was the first time that there was a major league franchise in Montreal that pitch is low for a ball so it's turn one
and the reigning world champions during last season were the Detroit Tigers who were not here Marshall lead at first two one pitch strong on and it's hit up the only in less center moving over is my challenge and he can't get it it can be trained as well as coming to 30 you'll come home Marshall's on his way to third maybe you'll play on him run score sort of Marshall's on his way Marshall's on his third base so I said one run but the relay got Marshall he said it with a double and a run better than but the relay cut him down at 30s he went sliding out and co-cola boy I got the tag on it Joe four is coming up now there's nobody on base one of them out of 30s and Joe's boy
ball was run down out in the track and it was 8.6.5 on the relay Jim Ferry to Bobby wine to co-cola boy now boy is up near the pitch curve ball high Ferry to wine to the boy so it's a double and a run better than for Marshall a big foot out to the expose going away for a ball piece so the medicine instead of having to go ahead run on a third with one man out they have nobody armed with two men out base hits back to back for the match for the first time in the ball again two o'pitch to four curve ball is high Bill Stelman goes behind three you know and Jerry Grote is waiting on deck
three out of every here tie I walked him that's the fourth war given up by Stelman today here's the match the first run of a two away in Grote the battle he's been up one time and drew a walk on dedication Grote is hitting one ninety three catch your turf free spring driving at as close as your nearest raco auto service center with your car in the hands of a raco expert you'll keep your car looking sharp running smooth stopping safe Grote a right end batter's end in waiting run fairly the first baseman for Montreal holds against the runner Joe foyer leading off the bag throw over foys back safely when he goes the pitch is in for a car strike through the second alley
say foyer has a Stelman base Stelman's throwing in on the hot it is 10 up 12 now for a foyer this 10th Stelman base in 12 attempts the match has a club 41 off 53 it was a curve ball if you ran on it was in the strike zone Grote a load off so the car is strike one bat bateman goes out for a word with his pitcher now the match have a runner in scoring position here with two men out your recall at the experts pulled off a triple steel with the bases loaded against the meds and racer ducky and shea stadium recently this pitch is high Stelman goes now to 1-1 to Grote Grote about number 8 in the meta order
Joe foyer leads off the bag at second as both Stelman sets up off the strike and offers a 1-1 pitch for a ball it only got deep short taken by Bobby wine base over the run early in time and the side is off so it is one run on two hits no errors and a man left in the middle of the foretuning the score is tied then that's one and the expert one time so you have not a lead off for a match we all john bateman the catcher he's been up one time and had a base hit Gary's entry has been in all the way for the nuts and here's the pitch to the right end batter it's in for a call strike and the national league it is all night action
put it up your fillies have lost nine in the row and there at Pittsburgh against the parish tonight Jim Bunning one in four against Bob Moose two in three playing a foul ball off and out of play the Chicago Cubs still on top just barely and the eastern division out of the national league are at Cincinnati take on the red tonight Bill hands five and two against Ray Washman who had won one and lost one none and lost none so Lewis Cardinals who took two or three from the curbs over the weekend are at Houston tonight Bob Gibson two and two against Larry Durker who's won seven and lost two there's a curveball intracurberation Larry Durker who's won seven and lost two there's a curveball intracurberation the latest spell on my own by six tello for vapor and turns now and marches back toward the dead guy tello it's all awaited and then gave it to big drag tom who's the shirt off one strike out number four for Gary Jeffrey in the ball game and Bobby winds up
and a four and seven had a base hit for our senseless dodges are at San Diego it's San Dvance three and one against Danny Corms three and two there's a swing of foul ball off and out of play the Atlanta brothers and the San Francisco giant are not scheduled to hardly action in the tolerate a cure from twenty three eleven races another checkered flag before the books time to celebrate with chamba jump in at chamba casino dot com let's chamba no purchase necessary btw group boy we're prohibited by law cc and c 21 plus sponsored by chamba casino i've got Dan Morgan here on the pod say hi Dan hey how's it going today it's going good man tell us who you are and what you do i'm Dan Morgan i'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan which is America's largest injury law firm that's pretty awesome um i think i saw billboard of yours recently that said that twenty billion one twenty million is an insane number yeah twenty billion recovered
it's actually i think somewhere north probably closer to twenty two twenty three after this year and each year we get bigger and batter and our army grows so the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on awesome so how does someone get in contact with Morgan and Morgan what what would i do if i got into an accident probably the easiest way is dialing pound law that's pound five two nine from your cell phone we are always open our call centers always waiting to take your call twenty four seven three sixty five wow Dan Morgan from Morgan and Morgan America's largest injury law firm thanks for coming by the show thanks for having me visit for the people dot com for an office near you american league is likewise at night the Baltimore Orioles are at New York with Mike Creyer four and two against French Peterson who's won four and lost two also pitch to wine is low on the way the three targets riding a five game losing streak are a fun way park against the red sucks john eco three and three against sunny seabird three and one here's a one one pitch low on the way Cleveland is washing them the center to the last nine straight barrier more three and two
against George Grunette two and four Minnesota transit center city Jim Scott four and one against Bill Butler two and two the Cal Angels are at Chicago and the Messerschmitt four and three against Billy Wynn or and what here's a picture of Carl's side K-2 well then fans are helping uh big stellar umpire though it's always easier than umpire from the stands once he never could figure out why the umpire didn't work the man stands back here two two pitch it on the guy on the second page basketball gets off plays out of the chapter and two men are out that'll bring up Bill Stoneman been up one time and struck out George tied you one one those of you that didn't get the information don't take care and got his three thousand base it and then ball game against Cincinnati yesterday and he joins uh pretty select group uh had a famous yes sure you got a ground ball based it up the middle for the three thousand fun
Rico Cardi's streak was stopped at thirty one boys run it up the first place I didn't go far if they let it roll and they do and it's called by Shamsky and foul territory so I just strike one and we're here and also hit his sixteenth homer later in the ball game the five hundred seventy of his career well it's off to fairly good stars now certainly he leaves the league and uh home runs runs battered in and he's really having himself a start two men out here march the old batting in the bottom of the fort nobody on base that's low football one and one now to Bill Stoneman one one church run it again up the first place I just got to play it and he's got
all his first instrument and he's got to pick it up and to him up after he was sitting when he's got to pick it up he slipped out and he was sitting down to pick it up and threw it back so he just stepped there for a moment look at it there was no clothes go ahead it's an ace up to take the ace from the heart to play with one of his first two men out march still he's coming out he's going to play twice fly the center and swing the driving around that was the fifth hit for the X-Fose off your e-gentry it's to the left hand batter and it's in there for it's all right dear e-gentry was a little concerned in the dugout before the ball game with the fact that the pants of his uniform had struck a little in the latest washing and he is a very mild looking ball player and the skin tied pants out there today there's a pitch outside for a ball it's
one in one stormers the runner at first with two men out in the scourge tied one one gentry a struck out four walk two and allowing one run on five hits swing in a five on and let's be a line out of play one and two two gentlemen comes back to a target at first playing stately shallow and center and rife breaking pitch just missed inside it's one and two gentry was hoping you'd get a strikeout pitch
this will be a two two delivery and it's on the way curve ball come on and let's get to fifth strikeout and the side is retired he got mild stately swinging no run to hit nerves in one level the end of four fullenings to play with the scourge is the match one in the Xbox one I don't know half it must be catching Jerry Brooks our engineer just gave me the 10th second warning by saying he's all the way to New Jersey here it is just for you Mr. Colonel Clark and now it'll be very gentry coming up to feed off for the match facing no gentlemen you're one of the yesterday's fullenings there goes Montreal one run five hits no errors the match one run three hits no errors you're not sure Jerry's gentry when jr mr. Murphy was a little worried about the fact that we're going to a french
western tonight and that he wasn't too sure if he'd be able to read the menu and he was trying to get me to help me out but I think I'm going to turn that chore over to you the french restaurant we're going to you'll have no trouble in all of it's an excellent restaurant it was one time the favorite heart of a football coach in this town named Pierre Walker and if Pierre did well there you'll have no trouble believe me Jerry's gentry is that gentlemen's pitch and it's filed back one thing about Montreal that is enjoyable is that just about everything you see is done in both languages english and french so you don't really have any trouble in fact on the elevators when you take them in the hotel the elevator girl announces everything in both ways english and french so it makes it very easy how young ball players are running french just that way here's a pitch and it's in there for a child strike oh and two what is it about eighty percent of the people here speak french or between seventy and eighty
but as you say it is a bilingual city which is low but one and two now the gentry age is on deck here's a one two pitch outside for a ball it's two and two so you're walking out a little trouble in this city once when they send them a quarter back who lined up behind the center and stood and did draw and Pierre didn't really know but it was out the years of two two but one out in this strike place that is a fifth strike out for gentlemen one man out an age he was called out on strike man had a base up the center for you three mad bases have been by agey and barred well singled in the double by Marshall
and he was thrown out trying to stretch it into a triple so gentlemen with a pitch right down the pipe for a curl strike one arrow for next in the order again the delivery curve ball and it misses inside so it's one ball and one strike you can hardly have a butter baseball day than this one one pitch low and away so it's two and one and that started out on this road trip a three city road trip they had not had a rain out this year they were rained out in Chicago rained out in Philadelphia although they won one in Chicago and won two in Philadelphia
here is a pitch low and it's gone to three and one out of agey came in here to a beautiful baseball day we'll be here again tomorrow night and again on Wednesday night back at Shay Stadium Friday night against the Chicago Cubs the Metzon Cubs again on Saturday afternoon and a double hitter Sunday swinging a ground ball to second staley can't help if it's through his legs amount out of the right field that's up I saw it is an error a choice against staley and agey is on it first clearly between his legs that is the first error right to the wickets right through the wickets and let us know since coming up it's going to stop so it's going to have to lie some more both times bateman calls time goes out forward with stoneman the Metz trying to build a go ahead run here in the top half of the fifth inning jerry park and marty hall
stoneman takes the sign shut up go to first it's not in time but you just fall off to the left side out of play strike one the bird harrison Leon Jones swinging the bat on deck agey takes his lead at first run here goes swinging a foul ball back and out of play so the count is not too strikes to harrison that's that agey often winging on the pitch
