I'm going to see you twice in the main one and as the one who will go! This is the F1 field! It's the age mark shown monkey to strike! It's hell with me now! It's the age mark shown monkey to strike! It's hell with me now! It's military, baby! Champions again! Full touch of blocking through the glass ceiling! After 15 years in the wilderness, full touch! Football club has watched the game! A premiership club! This is full-curt-daffed. With behind the wall, we are Navy Blue. Are you? The T-4 from Gate 20 Red on Friday night, let us dream of what our grandfathers seen.

We are now two games away from that. As the bands are marching on to the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hamden. Hello, welcome to Focurt Daffed. I am Joe Martin. I joined as our badge is going to pass. It is Ross Wayne. Good morning, buddy. Yeah, I'm already here, life. I know I can see that, I can see that. By the way, T-4 on Friday, absolutely on point. Best with Dorothy. I know the normal one from the Gate 20. Really, really good to see you. I was visually and sentimental as well, wasn't it? Yeah, I was interested because you saw the Dundee right? That looked like it was just a wee sheet or something that I put up. But then you see what we did and it was incredible. Also, good work from Gate 20. The ultra is the absolutely phenomenal stuff. So I went up to class and yeah, just like to say, let us dream of what our grandfathers seen. We're that one step closer to seeing that. I mean, we've been there in our lifetime. Ross, we've been lucky enough to see three Scottish Cup finals.

And now, you know, an hour trip to Hamden. I can't wait. Yeah, I was so excited for the draw tonight. I don't even care. As well, I do care who it is. But I also don't care at the same time. It's just amazing to be there. As you said, we're two opportunities away from lifting a trophy. And with it, which sounds bonkers, the Europa League. Mental, mental. I mean, we can dream. We can dream. I don't want to dream about taking on Dunfair. I really can't believe they've got past Aberdeen. They've filmed me with dread and fear already. If we get drawn against them, I don't honestly. I'm absolutely thrilled with the fear about it. I'm now the opposite. I'm now the opposite. I want to play them. I think we'll destroy them at Hamden. And I tell you one thing. I think Aberdeen made them look very good last night. I don't think they're really good. Yeah, I don't think I have.

Aberdeen. But I've just got this. I mean, the story's there. I guess there's a couple of stories to tell that game was to happen. It was like the fear of coming up against Callum Morrison. Obviously, the fear of a bad guest from their perspective, they would think, oh, Barney Stewart might go and come back to hold them. And just it would keep me honest. I think it would keep me up. If we got drawn against them, I'll keep me up and sleep this night's for here until the actual game itself. Who do you want out of the teams that we could? I want to be honest. I want to be honest. I want to be honest. I want to be honest. Do I just get it done? Get the semi final done? Yeah. And then get to the final? I think I'd just get it done in the semi final. That's who I'd want in the semi final. But we're waiting to see who gets it through. But the great thing is this coffers for the Copmin' Obviously Talk about match against them. Dundee might've done a bit with our guest pun at the Grand Thomasdon. But again, just the money we did budget for again.

you know, and obviously you get, is it right, you get the, the, the, say if I was get split, the, between the four teams as well. So, could we put it right in the coffers? There is, yes, I think, um, so you're right, the gate gets split four ways, um, you also have guaranteed TV money, which is 60 grand per club. Um, the, we won't have as big a cost this time, because if you remember, when we played in for years, a few years ago, Rangers played Celtic in the other semi-final, and the costs for that fixture are huge. Um, now that won't be a cost that will happen this time, because it will be either Rangers or Celtic versus AN other. Um, so there will be more money there. I, we could, we could be getting, we could be talking three, four hundred thousand pounds, just from the semi-final and then obviously, um, uh, should we progress? Um, you're, I think that it's quite common that the winner would, would earn somewhere between one and one point five million, um, between ticket

sales and TV and merchandise and all that kind of stuff, um, but even, even losing finalists, you're, you're gonna, you're gonna make a lot of cash. So, however, we're not thinking that way, we're thinking, um, lifting a trophy and getting on a plane in the summer and it certainly takes us. Well, we have to say, well, we a bit delicate today, Ross, we're recording this at 11 o'clock in the Sunday morning and, um, I'm a little bit delicate, it was the Super Scoreboard, uh, day out yesterday, so we started a bit of half pass too, it was out with, uh, some of the pundits, the presenters, uh, end up random way out with Johnny Russell, random, there we go. So we're in the whole long and, uh, Scott Adams, obviously, we're of our, uh, pundits and Super Scoreboard and Johnny Russell was in the whole long, so end up going ways. Go, going while I hop off out and he said, I'll come ways. So I ain't up in the host you, Barridge, Johnny Russell, last night in Scott Allen. And I believe the Falkert team were out as you guys go as well, but gutted a mister, I think they were in Wonderbar, uh, in Scott White, ad went, we've done the road by this point and the, uh, Scott went to meet them, uh, in the

the one back, I think it's just a quick pal with Dylan Tate. So I missed the chance to, to go and party with the Falkert players, gutted, absolutely gutted a bit. Yeah, I saw on socials they were out, uh, having a few beers, well deserved beers. Absolutely. The season's so far. Yeah, absolutely. And, you know, I think they were on a promise or a week off as well. So well done to the guys. And I think they'll definitely be getting Monday off aspect as well. Absolutely. Yeah. Well deserved, absolutely well deserved. We'll get to the game in just a bit, but I've got to say, thank you very much to our sponsors. The backend is rumor architecture. Thanks to Ryan. His business is being going for about five years now. It was working with local practice for nearly 17 years. He's a Falkert bear and he's a great architect, one of only three chartered architects in the town, um, you know, seeing his work. If you're looking for, um, a extension looking for any kind of projects, new offices, Ryan can do it all. He's there for

all your architectural needs and he's going to give you 10% off. All you need to do is quote Falkert death when you get touched with him and you can do that by going to RMR, R-M-A-R dot code.uk, R-M-A-R dot code.uk. And if you're looking for an extension or anywhere done or any for an architect, quote Falkert death, you'll get that 10% off. So get in touch with Ryan. Keep it in the Falkert finally, as we always say, and get involved with RMR, RMR architecture. And yeah, Ryan, well, sorry, yeah, great. Thank you very much for sponsoring the episode, Ryan. We'll see you at the live event, which is put in your date and your diary. I keep forgetting, it's May the 15th, May the 15th for Falkert death live at Surrender season party, because I was just about, there's, uh, the Compute Stone Aussies are pulling the same night that we're doing that up the time. Uh, Frank, go to the Smith and the Compute Stone Aussies are pulling up the town that night as well. So don't go to see them, come to see us, uh, that night. So yeah, get to that date. Which will hopefully be a top six pre-evening top six final day. And if with any luck,

it might even be the week before a certain cup final as well. I'll be there. Fingers crossed. Fingers crossed. We'll talk about how we got there just in a bit. Cobb News wise, um, Aberdeen tickets on sale now for non-season ticket holders, uh, from Tuesday, uh, you've got your head up on Saturday Ross. I'm giving a miss, um, you're, you're going up, aren't you? No, no, I can't miss it. This one, unfortunately, yeah, by a Falkert TV Joe for me, I've, um, my eldest has got a, as we've talked about previously on this podcast, she's obviously, uh, and actually, like, she's got a competition all day on Saturday with, uh, my wife. And, uh, my youngest and I are on, we've got, uh, we're, we're on pop duty, my little duty. Um, so we will need to stay local, um, for, for him. So, uh, not a BFalkert TV job. Really, really looking forward to the game, though, um, Aberdeen are obviously in a weird place, um, both on and off the pitch. And, um, it'll be amazing to see 15, 1600 Burns fans up there and making loads of noise. Yeah, yeah, uh,

there'll be a good way to Aberdeen always is. So always is, yeah, there'll be a decent crowd turning up for that one. Um, they got, it had me fundraiser. I think we talked about that simultaneously in Northern Dick Campbell or doing that. But that looks like it was great. I have to be moved now because it collides with the Scottish Cup semi. I'm not heard anything more on that, yet, Ross, unless you have no, no, I assume they have a, a backup date in mind, um, which the club I'm sure will come out with. But, um, hopefully it's, uh, uh, a time and date that the vast majority of people will still be able to go, um, it is a huge fixture in the club's calendar. And, um, Dick Campbell, funny, funny guy, very, very funny guy and Simon, as well as being a legend, he's got plenty of stories. I wonder if they'll, I mean, Simon's obviously coming from abroad. I think he lives now in France, um, I'm wondering if they'll might, they might miss out on Simon as a result because I wonder if he's booked to come across and if that just coincided and then, but we'll wait and see, we'll wait and see what the news in it. But it's, it's a great, it's a great night out,

so we'll keep you posted and what's happened with that. Um, shout out to Leon and the McCans, um, you obviously heard this emotional interview after the big, the game on Friday and his wee man, um, is getting, he's got his awkward implants now. So he heard the man heard this mum and dad, we broke, he heard his mum and dad for the first time and it tapped off at, like, I think Leon said himself, it's the best week of his life, you know, I've been having the wee man and obviously man in the match performance from Leon on Friday. So, um, great to see that. And obviously the charity is still on the go be heard, um, which we supported our last Falkert Draft Live, um, we're able to hand over a, I've had a cash from that. So, um, hopefully that helps, uh, the charity and obviously just shines a light on. I think that's a whole point to be held and while he on set up the charity, him and him and his wife, because they went through it and didn't find him as much support for, you know, on your child's born deaths. So, yeah, hopefully it goes a wee bit out of the way,

helping out families that find themselves in the same situation. Absolutely. Yeah, nice, um, what a week for him, what a week for him and, um, he was phenomenal when Friday night, um, obviously got the sports scene, man in the match, uh, will he, will he get the Falkert Draft, uh, rated to this week as well, who knows, but if it does, is it not like he's, it would be his third, did a bit three or four weeks, I think, um, what a, what a four me's on, what a four. There you go. I know, absolutely. Uh, we've got, uh, it's not, we're not in a factor season, but, uh, I like this. We were continuing the songs coming in. I love this and the you and Stuart's got one for us. To the tune of Taitenium, are you aware of the song Taitenium Ross Wayne? I am. That's David Gwitter, isn't it? Well done. Well done. There you go. I don't know. I can't, I couldn't tell you. I'm trying to, I'm trying to work out. So, he's got the words here when he's on, right? So, I'll try and do this, right? Okay. I am Taitenium. Did, did, did, did, did, did, did, right? Okay. I think I've got this. When he's on the wing, you hear this, um, blue and white. I've not got this at all.

So, this is what you would suggest for Ben Brogeo. When he's on the wing, you hear this saying, blue and white, he's doing his thing in the Scottish Premmanship. He plays so bold. Ben Brogeo's scoring all the goals. He has been, now I'll get this, but he has been Brogeo. He scores for Falkirk. Watch him go. He has been Brogeo. Falkirk's goal. I'm, I'm, I'm, I've messed it up. But please believe us as a voice, don't you? And how it's meant to be saying, uh, that would be great because I'm making a peg zero of it. But thank you very much for your time. I like it, though. He's done well with the Linux, yeah. Yeah. He's done very well. Very well. So, I send this voice so we can hear it as full glory, please you. Um, quick dive into birthday corner before we talk about the game. It's happy birthday to Dylan. Returns 14 on the 9th of March. He's one of those that bought him. It's in that comes from your dad, Dugi, Lorna and Chloe, of course. Yep, happy birthday to Dylan. Uh, and we've also had another one coming. Uh, this was obviously a weapon that was given it as a free dinner as well. So, hi, Ross and Jordan, could you give us

shout out to Max Trickshounds who celebrated his 18th birthday. Uh, and that's from his grandpa Paul and Uncle Craig. And they, as I mentioned, they were celebrating in 1876, loud. With us, John on Friday night and third-witter Max, not only was it his 18th birthday, but he also won the time of the full us go and he got 100 quid days pocket. I mean, you did well done, Max. Well done. Uh, couple of players birthdays this week. Oh, my god. Uh, Gary Hope, um, obviously manager. He's, uh, 53, um, turning 53. I hope he has an absolute shitter of a day. Like, is there anything can go wrong? I hope it, I hope it goes. I hope he gets it. Gary. Oh, he was all right. Was you know? Gary Hope. He was horrific. He was absolutely horrendous. I thought he was all right. Me. Come on. He was a shite manager. He was a shite, uh, directing a football, whatever you like, all of his, oh, no, there's, there's not enough words for him. Like, he's not like, he's not Paul Hartley levels who I saw was crying to. Oh, my god. That's something you're beauty go for. Like, there's, Paul Hartley was just a dick.

Like, when he was at a fall cut, you know, the, the kid up the academy and the shite players, he signed like in the money, he bumped through like any one despite getting a boost from focus supporters. Yeah. There, there, there's no level. Like, Gary Hope's not, uh, Paul Hartley level, but he's, he's, he's, he's close, he's a close second in my opinion. Um, you, you just want them to be abused like a long lost uncle. Really? As the honours, they're going to massively. All right. Okay. So anyway, happy birthday, Gary. If turn 53, Steven Herrington member, he came with such pomp as well. Steven Herrington, I thought he was going to be a great player for, he was okay. And then, but he's 33 on the ninth. Look at Gasparato. Remember, look at Gasparato. Canadian International as well. Uh, turn 31, buddy. I was looking at Gasparato and 31, Jesus. Well, um, on the 10th, Emma Broffey, obviously, back to back champion, had a little own spell with us. And now it's more than he's 30, uh, Ben Parkinson, um, hopefully see him back in the navy blue next season, but he's turning 21. So happy birthday, Ben, um, Peter Grant,

junior, um, obviously talking about Scottish Cup, Skurna, uh, go on the final for us. But that's it. We'll go off scene of Skurna, the Scottish Cup final in my lifetime, because apart from new overs, this allowed one. Well, that is true. Yeah. I, uh, it's weird that it Peter Grant's only 32. I don't know, because that's like right there. I mean, the Cup final was what I lived years ago. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Jesus. I know. So Peter Grant, 32. Uh, Ross McQueen, remember, have you scored from direct from a free kick? Can I just, no, I've mixed that up, missed, missed that up. CBC. Ross McQueen was one of the, uh, love joy that scored. It wasn't it, it was, uh, he mentioned Skurna directly from the order. Yeah. Ross McQueen joined at the same time. There was a winner, wasn't it? It was, uh, ex-mother will add. So I don't know what he's up to now, but he's 29. Ryan Williamson, turns 30. The CAFU. Where's he, where's he injured now? He was. He was. He was. He wasn't been trolls, but I don't know if he's still there. Now, memory scored that world day, where he liked total CAFU, where he went right down the wing and put it like absolutely scored an absolute world. I can't remember who it was against. I think

I actually was against my trolls as well. Uh, but Ryan Williamson, turns 30. I don't know where he is now. Uh, Sean Welsh, remember Sean Welsh. He's 36. Thank you, Stull. Again, he's at Queen's Park now. I think he might be at Queen's Park now, Sean Welsh. And Alfie, I come in, turns 26. Alfie, Captain Chaos himself up in moments in Johnson just now, turns 26. So happy birthday, Alfie. There we go. Right. Okay. Uh, let's say before we, we took the game, thanks to our sponsors. Of course, our headline sponsors are behind the wall. Stay local, eat and drink global. I might be going up there from a lunch this afternoon. Uh, he's taking the wife out. So we might go there this afternoon. And there's bus seats to Aberdeen. They remain on sale. It's £20,000. So that's a great deal for that. And you'll get your pint when you get back to the pub as well, which will be well-deserved after that trip. Uh, so 20 quid return for that. Get in touch with the, the guys at the bar. Get yourself booked on that. I've got Abertribune on the 27th of March, which is just around the corner. What's your favourite Abersong Ross? The winner takes it all and hopefully do this year. Very good

to like that. I like that. Um, so the Abertributes on the 27th of March. Tam Kewens in there. Uh, you'd Ross your pal. You were on off the ball with him. Uh, but he's in behind the wall on the 25th of April. And buses are still aren't taking that on June. That's £15. It's all behind the wall. Uh, get involved there and check out the website for all the events behind the wall.co.uk. All right, then let's go and now talk about the game against Aunty United when we do it in the company of this man. Oh, Charlie, no, um, uh, we'll send it back up. Okay. Hold you. I know that, Charlie, but it's right. Okay, you're in. One's where. Could you do just what? No. Oops. Oh, sorry, sir. That's my fruit. Got it, Paul. Yeah, what is it? It's rubber.

Right. Keep on coming. That's, uh, Charlie, that's it. Oh, that lazy fat bastard. They won't flay up. No, I did not. No, just wish me all the best for it. Middle row, the attack again. The 16 year old. He's in. Oh, it's incredible. It's the second half to get away. Look at that man, Shorio. His new brand new Shorio just played from it. It's actor extraordinaire. You saw him there just picking up David Beckham, you know, standing still game. And now he's on Falkert data. Welcome, Grant Thompson. Good morning, Japs. How's he doing? We're all right, mate. We're all right. We're hoping you might get some extra work now that we've just shown your new Shorio. And, uh, you never know who's watching Falkert data. You never know. Oh, that's it. It's, uh, it's nice. He's been looking at me when I've not been about that.

That's not keeping it. No, but fantastic. There you go. And I said, we need to get you some more work, Grant. You know, because you're probably caught. You can see that actor extraordinaire. Yeah. Well, I've actually got a new agent this week, fun, enough. So, what happened this year? There was a distinct lack of, uh, Falkert data live appearances in your Shorio, just saying, Grant, that you, I'm sure there's something out there that you have heard you on stage, uh, recorded. Yeah, if, if, if anyone's got any foods, file over and I'll slide it in. Grant is a resident quiz master at Falkert data live. Hopefully he's available on the 15th to continue that momentum. Yeah, I should be, guys. I should be. It's important. Great, great. Uh, brilliant. Listen, thanks for coming on. Grant, um, we're here to talk about Dundee and I ate. Um, we're just talking before. Who do you want in the semi? My heart says Dunferman. My head says either one of the other two sent me on a part tick.

Right. Okay. I think, I think I think I could be the easiest route to the final. I'd happily have Dunferman in the final and Scott them. But just, I don't know, however you guys, what do you think? I, I want ranges of Celtic. I want to just get it done way. Get ranges of Celtic. I want to avoid Dunferman because it'll give me sleepless nights for months. Yeah, months. Yeah, I know. So I won't, I won't, I won't, I won't, I won't, I won't, just known who signed for the MA in January. I was going to go. That's, that's what gives me nightmares. Yep. Exactly. The same, Grant, exactly. That's what I was just saying. It just got, it's, it's just got that kind of, you know, fairy, well, fairy tale for him right and over. but as I said Barney Stewart might do the exact same coming back and haunt them and score a couple goals against him but we'll wait and see when the draw happens but we're here to talk about getting to that actual semi the game against Dundee and I he'd on Friday night under the lights no changes surprise surprise from the 5-1-1 overcome Arnold but Kyrie Wilson was back in the team

which was good to see as well and he certainly had an effect when he came on the park as well but yeah Ross I don't think it was any changes that were going to be made was that after that one? no no we there was a little bit of chatter that would Kyriele constrain however that would have been really unfair on the team who absolutely thumped Kalmanop so no not not huge surprise and we did John McLean I think alluded to it either they expect Dundee 92 potentially set up very similar than Kalmanop did so and it had changed the sort of shape of the team at points defensively and defensively so no I was really excited when I saw the team line up yeah and Grant I do any changes you would have had or were you quite happy with going with what I was I don't see how you can change that team from Kalmanop last week and John very really does a change over the team so no I'm quite I was quite content and not surprised at the team that first Dundee and I need

yeah absolutely and from Dundee 80 perspective obviously they had a game in midweek so it was a good few changes for them but yeah you know obviously they had the very one kind of Scott Arfield moment Johnny Russell obviously was not only fitting off to make the bench it did we'll talk about his performance because he didn't make a difference when I came on but yeah I mean we just came out the trap so like folk have done all season absolutely fine and we didn't have to wait long until that first goal which was coming you know and it was obviously Ben Brozio good work on the right hand side laying off the Spencer and Brad Spencer unlucky with his shot but the goalkeeper ran home the ball luckily just punched it into there and Big Barney's there gets power on the head and it just goes over the goalkeeper and we're off to the races it was a brilliant start brilliant start and we did deserve their goal because whilst we didn't really create like much up to be scored we got to be a language scored in about eight minutes we had so much

of the ball I would have been I would have loved to have seen what the possession starts where for that opening eight nine minutes and because we did we saw enough of the ball they we were like fresher which we hoped we would be we looked lively with it we tried to quiet in their way crowned which I felt we did as well and Falkert crown were obviously very much up for it and that fed on to the fed on to the team as well and the goal Barney just right place right time again we're a fantastic header that wasn't and that wasn't an easy goal scored by the way because the ball was almost coming behind them when he got to it so no I feel good at it to Barney it was a brilliant goal yeah yeah I mean again right place right time and that's what you want from your striker on your number nine just being there to pick up the scraps and Barney is like more and more he's just set on that role more and more and it's really exciting looking ahead I mean look hopefully that's the top six we're pretty much I would say looking at Dundee and I don't think they're

going to and I heard that she'd done the night I've not won more than two games in a row all seasons so if they're going to go on in one four games so you would you would say we're definitely top six but it's going to be really exciting I think next season when you know we have Ben Parkinson and Ross McEver hopefully hit it again I'll find out what happens with Brian in the summer as we spoke about last last week Ross it's probably going to be good to keep Brian on just for that for the coaching the young strikers that we have could you not just tactically message Brian just now and say listen we might need you for some day time gigs next year are you free or are you bit as it folk I could say wait replies we could find out we find out I'll have a good I usually on a Tuesday I give it a good no he's actually working on Tuesday they're on super scoreboard listening for the folk at sports could we get some good folk at chat from him but I have I sit and have a cup of tea with Brian when he's in and get all the go all the go and just find out what's happening you know so I'll find out what's going on I'll try to get out of him when I speak to

on Tuesday but I um you know it's it is exciting and Barney's is just doing it I mean that's seven goals now since he's come back from done firm was that right yeah seven yeah seven so the hat trick the double and then two goals in the cup yeah so like it's it's just he's just flying at the moment absolutely flying he's you know he's such a lovely guy Barney his interviews are brilliant on the tail he's just a big daft laddie um on Friday after the game grant um he just wandered into the lounge right the 80s 36 times and we thought oh he's here for an interview so we're just like oh welcome to the lounge Barney's shirt and Barney just walked down he's like I'm not even meant to be here he was looking he was looking for something he's going for his girlfriend isn't he I don't think so we just got him in the mic for I was like we'll keep on for long Barney get us get us to the goal he's like I was I was a bit lucky fuck it that's right he does come across is just a really nice likable lad so it's such a good ladding one but it's great to have him

in the club and I'm glad great to see you got rewarded with that extension is contracting a better wage because as John said he's probably the worst paid player in the friendship I don't think that'll be the case anymore though so probably and then he's going to make us a lot of money do you think yeah do you think people's going to come in for him clubs are going to come in for him in the summer yeah I generally do think they will see his potential though like for a a club down south it's a no-brainer isn't it like looking at him looking at his size I'm looking at his lethicism I think like for if you come in with a wad of cash I think clubs will and if he continues the scoring form there's no way clubs won't look at him you know because I'd add in the goals it scored for Dunfell went add the goals he's scoring the premiership for Falker is it's a no-brainer and I do think I do I suspect there'll be clubs stiffing about him in coming summer yeah now I think there will be interest of course because like for all the reasons you've just said

we are in a better place though where we don't need to accept a lowball offer don't like four five years ago where I've had to have just bitten the first off of they came in but will obviously overexceeded in the league actually yeah well overexceeded well in the league so we're getting to get my extra money there yeah the budget is the budget goes for ten the budget and we've finished six at least yeah so I think there will probably be interest not not just him and that we're definitely not in a position where we need to drop our draws to read know what to read anyone do you think he should go no but then like in money talks for both him personally and in the club but I think he probably would really benefit from another season full season in the preampership and who knows what other opportunities may come his way next year especially if we finish this season as well as as well hope yeah no absolutely but yeah I don't think we're now in the

position if we won't get lowballed in these like you see like Len and Miller and the money he went for and you know what I'm not saying that Barney Stewart is Len and Miller but the club are going to get to a point where we've got to make them all the work we've got to start you know when was the last player that we sold for money Conor McGrandals probably you know that's that's the you know I think he did with add-ons it was a a million for Conor so the club are going to have to work on that model and I'm sure we've got a lot of you know players there that'll be catch now I can't have them all being one as well delinate we we know he's out to contract unfortunately but he certainly won you would catch your eyes as well so we won't get to a point that we have to work on the model I think Barney might be the kind of first player in that new kind of system that they now we're back in the preampership goes for a lot of money but we'll wait and see it and we'll enjoy it while we've got them as well great first goal and we don't have to wait long for the second goal either and Leon McCann will talk

about its performance just in a bit but an incredible ball over from the left hand side and it it was coming it was 100% coming because we absolutely bad we're barring dundee in terms of position and you know just like bringing them out and it was a great ball and a brilliant header from Finn who just got like just got in between the two defenders and just you know just flashed it into the back of the net but it was all about that ball from Leon absolutely amazing yeah no the header was a bullet wasn't it it was it was beautiful no yeah echo you're seeing there John it's just Leon great game bar yeah yes took that co-pill built up a header the ball and was like inch perfect for Finn and Finn the time is is run really really well I saw watching it back there was quite an inquest in the defense all arguing with each other and but from a focal perspective beautiful beautiful finish I'm delighted for Finn as well because since he's citing these new deal he's not really played a lot of football but when he has been asked

to play a smash that I did last week he did this week probably not listen probably not his best game ever but he did enough he was a nuisance in the role and he got his goal really well as well he's one of these reliable players yeah yeah absolutely you know putting in the role you could go at him if you thought the BBC afterwards and they'd be saying like he's not an actual ten because he says he's not himself he's not an attacking mind player but it's the industry that Finn brings to this side you know creating space for Dylan and Brad and just running up and down the pitch I mean if you're looking for more natural ten you guess Ben Brogio we saw Louis Martian there Ethan Williams probably could put in there Ethan Ross but like we're initiating Finn Brings to this side you know and he's done really really well in that role even no I mean as you said he was brought in as a six end up pulling right back you know we didn't get much of a look in last season in terms of the team but like he's done really well in that ten he's obviously doing the job that John wants him to do in there and great finish for the head

and we saw his go against St. Madden as well which is a crack at as well so good but come back please to Barney you're talking about Brian Graham Barney's learn from Brian Graham but you can see Finn Finch playing him from these other players around and like Dylan like Brad Spencer he's he's just he's still because he's still he's he's just learning he's just getting better and better he's also reliable for player for us yeah really is really is and then like we were so comfortable the rest at first half really really comfortable we almost had that chance as well I just the chance open up for Kyle Miller you know they just had so much time and space but I think it was Steven and got back in and managed to make the tackle which just went past the post if he'd just maybe shot a bit earlier Calvin um he might have had the chance there but we were just so comfortable and then stupidly like we've done you know we have this knack of losing goals right before half

time and it happened again Ben Rosio a bit naive um just holding on the ball and I thought Ben was actually guilty of that a good few times in the match have just holding on to the ball and trying to do get past players when he there was a pass on so I I was that kind of happened time and again he got caught out for for their goal in possession I mean Dylan says we bit sixies and sevens both calling Liam coming out to try and get the ball and then the boy just squares it over and um asking him manages to score from it um Scott Bane could you have done better Ross in terms of when I watched it back I think I think Scott will be a little bit disappointed it obviously hits kind of all these you know upper area as well as the hands and yeah it's just a bit of a a bit of a weird one for him maybe I was just the angle it came in at but having watched it back I think he I think he'll be a little bit disappointed the defence will be

losing it as well for all the reasons you've said Ben um I think he's admitted that I'm selfie it's a huge gulf from the level he was at in terms of the time on the ball so he doesn't get as much now whereas back in the East Villa days earlier this season he would have that time and space to pick a pass run at the defence do what he needs to do but here he just doesn't get that and he gets clattered and he has started the downfall with that goal yeah David start there is a bit of a messy one grant yeah no I definitely think Scott being could have done better the ball the ball was just a bit down he's a throat but we can't criticize him too much because as you're going the second half he kept us in it yeah I mean there's a totally different game that second half if we go on it too now we just see it out we we get probably another goal or two um because united were were pretty rotten that first half um and they got their chance and

they took it and fairness to them and then they came out as a result of that goal with our tails up um in that first 20 minutes of the the half like it was just like it was caught like they were constantly at as we you know we lost possession and awful lot of times as well um in that and just gifted them possession but they were they had their tails up and that up the first 20 minutes of the second half certainly was like hose your eyes and just keep looking at your watch it was absolutely sorry I'm gonna go back well just I was saying absolutely yeah I think um it was it was a tough watch and I think um I you just look around like grant out obviously from where we sit we we can't see you um and you're saying but you would have been doing the same as us which was just like hand hand in your head in your hands and that's all you saw when you looked about as well just nervousness and I think the crowd you're a little bit quiet not and not the ultras the ultras keep doing nothing but I think the the rest of the crowd were not as loud the dundinite fans were obviously

void from what they were seeing and they were getting it in and every time they went up the park I thought oh there are here we go and you just there was there was a flurry of corners as well before the the the chance that came off the post and you thought oh Christ one of these is going to go on yeah before usually yeah usually the season when we've been like that though and I'm usually looking to bench to see who can we bring on who could bring on I was doing that in Friday nights that who can we bring on who could we bring on but there wasn't anyone on the bench I thought could do a job at the time yeah they would change it yeah but yeah it was it was heartless in your stuff I was I was actually crying for Henry Cartwright to come on a bit earlier than he did because Henry's the kind of guy that win the ball back you know get possession for you and as magnificent arse will retain the ball really really well as well and but he did he did come on I mean because those chances to let's talk about the chances you know one-on-one what's that swords one-on-one with the Scott being great save from Scott as well to tonight you have him really really good save

on and that one-on-one with them and gets it around the post and then I have no idea in the world how Satsford pass Satsford does that ball doesn't go in off the post across the line and just trundles back along the line and he's Scott being Zans because it was I will yeah I was I will work moved from United and Finestown I'm a really nice touch from Johnny Russell and who was who made a difference when he came off the bench and then Satsford with the flak who it's just up because everybody in the stadium thought I was in everyone in the stadium it was up but thank you I looked away I looked away see as soon as I saw Satsford strike it towards Gola if it was he's passing it in an empty corner here and I looked at Al who was sitting to the right man he's like no look and so I turned and then it obviously been on his hands and you're like what the hell just happened there I know it is a big big chance and we're lucky lucky for us but I thought

actually those two chances aside we got control back probably about 70th minute or or around about then we actually started playing our game again and it was like a bit of a wake up call almost that chance and we just started settling into you know passes again game management retaining the ball doing what Falkirk doing we've seen over the last few seasons in terms of just past past past work the space you know and you could even see like Dylan take it when we were all getting quite anxious in the crowd just tell us the camera because there was a point where I was screaming at Dylan like there was a couple of points where I was screaming at Dylan to make a different pass from what he did because I think Lisa was going bombing down the right and then it was free and then Dylan went the other way and I'm like what are you doing Dylan um but I uh I thought I thought we after the killing we waited that kind of first 20 minutes we settled in you know and Kyrie obviously coming on Henry came on as well and I think Kyriell coming on genres that was really the catalyst because it gave Dundinity something else to worry about

he was looking for balls in behind all the time you could see yeah see him pointing all the time getting behind yeah we were looking a wee bit leaky uh tillie came on as well and and then had done a shift um but I think the united defenders should start to kind of push that little bit higher a little bit higher which was then pushing the pressure on he is but Kyriell coming on just as he's done before it gave them something else to worry about and they had to retreat back a little bit and it got us kind of away from being in our own box really yeah um and obviously a big chance for Kyriell Grant um Maisie run down that right hand side doing what he does is it cutting in um and then obviously just I was quite similar to the chance he had against Celtic it couldn't quite get the power he just needs to smash that he tried to get him up for more placement where the game in the go keep out the goalkeeper it's here by Justin he says stick his places through that and it's in the back then eh and I don't know what's right or at the back most we can't know or it's come back you know he's it's 40 him and it's he's there's behind the

defender it's come back off the post but it could have been you know put put the game to bed at that point yeah I watched that back and it it it was quite a tight angle for for Calvin trying to get in there and get the ball and but yeah on on actual night I was screaming out how did you miss that what happened there but yeah when you look back at it it was it wasn't it wasn't easy to think if it was on the other wing it might have like so see when you think back to Kyrie it was goals that he has scored it's been right foot just put your foot your foot through it right yeah the chance against Celtic and the chance against Dundee United were quite similar in the fact that he was kind of cutting in at the right hand side then trying to get a justice body got a shot away in both of obviously not winning and eh one the keeper saved one he's not but I just think and you don't want to piss about we like the winters constantly because Calvin does amazing on the left but you just feel maybe if he gets these opportunities on his right foot coming in from the left to the right he might have scored both chances probably I don't I don't think Calvin actually

had a particularly good game he was a lot of hustle and bustle from but I don't think he had a particular great game on on Friday night um there was a few we quite games don't like um but Dundee United obviously done their work they they minimized the threat of Calvin they certainly minimized the threat of um a lesser for the majority of the game yeah well it was really quite actually when you look back at the game Phil was actually not as you know marauding self um down that right hand side Leon on the other side was I thought was was excellent you know I've always wondered as well as why does Leon like for I probably at the best cross to the ball obviously we've got on the side why do you not take the corners I've never understood that yeah I do not think it's tactical from the for a breakaway perspective though because he's very very fast right he's obviously not a tallest player so you know he's never going to be in an amount of the box but also from a defensive perspective he switched on to know where he needs to be I don't know that's that's magic on it and it could be it might not be that reason but that that's my gut feel

yeah and the other thing I'd say tactical it as well is Ben Brosio I don't think I've seen him he always cuts in he never gets to the byline make tries to make across that I don't see I've don't think I've can think of many crosses from Ben Brosio I know it's the inverted wingers thing so expecting him to cut in but sometimes it's just a bit obvious what he's got to do because I don't think you've ever seen him get across the ball into the box you know obviously they look for those overlapping runs from um on either side Calvin's exact same looking for that overlapping run from Leon and on the right uh Philip as well uh but yeah it's it's you know I wasn't we won we won the game but I was just a little little nitpick things that you know what point pick out from the match and I thought Dylan Tate was excellent again just you know always you know apart from me screaming at him uh points to forever he was picking what I thought was the wrong pass uh but I thought Dylan Tate was magnificent in in that midfield to the thought he ran the show no and totally totally agree with you in that past as well to to let us say that he didn't

make any out yet I don't remember it well and I think it was a couple for me there was a couple of Ropey Ropey passes from T on the night yes by and large by and large there was a couple of Hollywood attempts that didn't come off um and that that's what you could get with Dylan you know he's always got his eye up he's always looking for that forward pass you know Brad's a bit more conservative but Dylan's always like right can I get that ball through there or coming you know squeeze it through that gap and he's going to you know he's got to get away position now and again with with trying that but you know when it comes off it's beautiful yeah yeah absolutely yeah absolutely well listen let's hear what uh Mr McGlin that had to say after the match actually cancel that John doesn't has it done and review the club TV it does it look like well we certainly carry see it anyway um and I tried to look for someone on the BBC but I did hear him speaking after the game on the telly because I'm sure you two did it as well went back after the match on Friday pulled myself a big large whisky and wait for the highlights in the game to be uploaded onto the

BBC iPlayer which didn't happen to about half twelve what a clock and then I watched back well I skipped forward the game I watched the half-time analysis the full-time analysis and interviews after the match uh both Leon and Finn uh give it their perspective uh and then obviously John gave his thoughts on the game as well and he seemed a happy man I didn't date as he should be yeah I think he's I think he's um I think he's a I think he's got we gone and he thinks we can definitely win this I mean he's he's kind of said he fancies us so you know what a second will definitely be the second best team less than the competition um come whatever happens in the the games this afternoon but yeah it's going up going up it's just a volume oh my I've got a friend who's uh an Aberdeen supporter and he admitted just me last night after I was five and I'd do you say and uh he was basically he's basically saying Aberdeen won a cup last year and they were shite yeah fork it fork it a bit on Aberdeen last season and this season so there's no

reason why something like that totally absolutely we'll wait and see what happens in anyway but let's see what you had to say Scott says so proud of this team so proud of this comp what a journey over the last few years come on ebians indeed Paul Fulton uh big shout out to uh Gate 20 uh the T4 was absolutely class that was fair as well uh McCann outstanding again not our best performance but who cares Hamden here we come yeah uh John says six years to the day since we beat Peter Head Thinnell in the last game before lockdown Jesus I saw the bluetooth podcast that's like who we used to speak to on this show uh they posted that up as well unbelievable uh to come from there through the cold year to winning the leagues and now playing the championship what a trip Hamden on the cards is unreal it's all take the time to enjoy this team 100% let's enjoy the good timeswilder here because we know it's focus sports they won't always be here things will happen you know might be who knows if John retires or a nor club Scotland coming ask John to do the

Scotland job who knows what will happen then the road but enjoy this team while we've got them 100% because I mean I've seen a few people saying it is this the best focus team ever and it's hard to argue against that it really is I think the only teams that come close I thought yogis the Latapy teams when we first came into the premiership was you know when you think Paddy Craig Anthony Stokes even with all those kind of players uh I thought they were good I thought obviously the Jeffrey's team when we finished fifth that time when you think back to I don't know John Clark who's going goals for us then more John I thought it wouldn't be more Johnson but that Jeffrey's team that finished fifth was brilliant but yeah yeah no more modules part of that team as well module part of that team yeah and I think this team I think to a man or if not the best focus team they're very close to it and what do you guys think? No I agree for me this is the best team I've

seen it's it's the football we play the football we play is so pleasing on the ice beautiful it's lovely and that sounds really cheesy and lovely but it is it's just brilliant football yeah absolutely absolutely what about you Ross? No I agree I think it will be cemented if we win our trophy because obviously that was something that alluded when I said trophy I don't mean the championship first version I'm talking about like Scotch Cup things like that and that's something that alluded your game and Jeffrey's etc so that will that will definitely cement it but for me this is the collectively the best soccer team I've watched since I started going which was the late 80s and I used to answer and draw about the best of times knowing like this the good old days type like and it takes you back to remember like for those that watch the American office was that not the not the famous quote from it would it not be amazing to know where's the good old days before you actually leave them that is exactly where we are we are in the good days and now and you do

need to enjoy them massively absolutely but I think I think it's well you to look at the club and the club's relationships with the fans as well I think that on top of what's getting done on the pitch it's just yeah what a time to be a focus man yeah I mean time to be alive as this what a time to be alive and you know what it is the best of times and like I hope like people realise that like younger supporters realise that because they've experienced you know the last three or four seasons you know my sons jumped on the body bandwagon now and I was like it's not always like this friendly it's not always like this are you got to realise that you know the hard times will come again 100% they will come again and they will be on this podcast morning and we've not had much moans over the last couple of seasons but you just got to enjoy it's the good days right now it's the good days so don't let them pass you by and it's just been you know I don't think there's I've said I don't there's any club certainly in Scotland that is more pleasing to

support than Falkirk over the last few seasons there there's no club you know motherwell fans I have motherwell fans I have the great season enjoying that it hurts fans obviously as well but like in terms of like the last three seasons there's been no better club to support them than the Falkirk bands so long make continue but it won't always continue so long could bear that mind just enjoy it just now Logan says to pip to a man again tonight had a to dig deeper times but that's what gets you to hamden man the match goes to the McCann for me building all night up and down that left hand side indeed Sam Smith says I don't think it's that Sam Smith love that the team was so flared for 70ish minutes of the game and the other 10 the other 20 could well could do with some polishing Barney celebration needs to continue to wind up their way fans hamden will be superb so let's just hope it's done Fairland and we can give them a 10 now thumb up that would be that would be the dream I think Barney did the donkeys I think that was for call I think he did that on behalf of call because obviously you know we we spoke to

Calum on the podcast in the preview who was actually in the lounge with us him and Ronnie and Ewan from the STV radio football podcast where they were in the lounge and I think he did that on behalf of call because I'm pretty sure if called in score he'd be going up giving it the donkey yours as well well actually John to just add to that I got a text of a very proud Barney seen Barney dad he's dad Barney's dad Pete he says just just so you've got some context after the gesture after the goal was to a very good friend of his called Finzo to whom he had actually offered a ticket but he's an Arab so he went in the early end so it was for his pal Finzo I don't know why it was the donkeys though that was maybe a part to do with the call situation as well yeah who knows but well done Barney again great to see that Ewan says Leon made the country cry did you go with his like oh a post-match interview absolutely yeah that was such an

emotional moment for him and for everybody else I don't know I don't know if his song was like come on Jonathan do your research son because he was like taking quite taking a back by it all and it's like come on Jonathan you know that if you're doing your research properly well exactly and it was also Jonathan who also said it was a lovely touch given the armband the way against tennis wear yeah we do that every game to him so yeah Evan Johnson who we know very very well she just says Hamden baby yeah Stevie Gibson says league one Falker K no Pesky league one Falker and finally Nathan Evans simply says this is our year I hope so I hope so right let's get to Falker Daff rated Leon McCann for me again I think I've said him for the last three or four weeks so by the way it's going to be hard like see where it comes to play this season I think Leon's going to win every award this year I've got a funny feeling it was Hendo obviously slept the

board last year but I think Leon is being unbelievable again I would put an argument for down tape but I think I think it goes to Leon for me as well what would you say Grant no Leon for me as well yeah what a game and he's also the whole emotional side of things with these different view I don't know if you actually so be here to post the video with Leon with his wife and Leon yeah I mean just about in bits so yeah I know it's just what a week he's had and there you go on top of it not only does it get mad I'm actually it's Falker Daff rated as well well done Leon for about a hundred times how many has he got now I think he's got about six one five or six he's got two three four five that's just six Falker Daff rated to player of the season so far so yet he's definitely going to be up there for player this season I think come down Daff day we've got Daff day I've got one if you've not got one I don't know if yours is the same as my make sure to get he got smashed how the fuck did he give a throw in the other way I know

surely he's going to give it to Falker because the D.R.E put it in smash through him like the other way I was like what he did how is that a throw in the D.R.E.D but I uh I don't know G.R.O.S.R.O.S. let's get to G.R.O.S. who got asked he's smashed Russia he's scripting these lines because there is Rosie Jones a few weeks ago then it's hard to be said there he's going to get his cat this Falker has cancelled and oh that's really good uh but right let's go for let's go for Douglas Ross uh there we go we always good to have Douglas Ross as a Daff day as well um what's happening here I'm sorry I've switched on something there we go that's just the go um right uh so there you go that's as a Falkert Davry and the Falkert Davry of the week. And now for the quiz, do we have a quiz this week, Ross? We do, indeed. Oh, no. I thought you might have forgotten about it. No, no, no, no. Damn it. So do you have your board and pen to hand, John McIranley?

One way or another, I don't actually have my board and pen to hand, which is a bit annoying. Did I write it just a write it on my note, on my phone? You write it, you do that, you get that ready. So Grant, you know the script, because you've hosted many of these for us at the live events. So you will be facing John today. It is a Scottish Cup Special. John, it is a different set of questions to the ones I used to allow John right now, just so you don't think you're going to get off with that here. But it is a Scottish Cup Special, all round Falkert. Right, are we ready? I'm going to follow you to this one. OK. So question number one, so John, you'll write yours down. Grant, once he's got son written down, we'll come to you for your verbal answer. So question number one, who did Falkert beat in the fourth round last season to set up the fifth round tie at home to Ray Throvers? So who did we beat in the fourth round last season, which was our very first Scottish Cup tie of last season, to set up a fifth round home tie against Ray Throvers,

which obviously we sadly lost. But who did we beat in the round before? I hate it, what was it? I was shaking. This is when I get caught out for having an absolute shaking knowledge of Falkert. No, this is when I get caught out for having an terrible man. He's kneeing a clue. Was it a homer away? Give us that. It was a way. And it was on TV. Last clue, we have faced the manager of that team in the last few years as well in the Scottish Cup. Oh my God, that is the rushes. John, have you got anything written down?

I've not, I've not. You've not got anything written down. John, can you take the lead here and make it 1-0? What's your answer? I'll go with, I'll go with Dundee Nite. You're saying Dundee Nite? So the close I gave, when it was on TV, it was away from home, and it was a game against the manager we'd already played in the Scottish Cup a couple of seasons before. It was Mick Kennedy's Easter right. I thought it was. Yeah. Yeah. OK, so still now now, question number two. So the season prior to that, 23-24, which was an invincible season, which team knocked us out of the Scottish Cup. So the season before, which was season 23-24, it was our invincible league season, but who did we lose to in the Scottish Cup? Oh, I know, it's not. You were certainly at this game, John. I don't know if Grant was, but you were definitely there. Go on to the question again, please. So the season prior, 23-24, it was our invincible league season,

but who did we lose to in the Scottish Cup? Who knocked us out? Have I made these two hearts? No, it's just we've got a shite memory. Got a shite memory. Oh, my God. That is my memory is short, absolutely short. Who knocked us out? Scottish Cup. I'll give you just one clue only. It was a way. It was a way in a way game. Can you were there? Oh, I don't think I've got it. I'm sure for you. Yeah, got it. Got it, right? I've got an answer. Something written down, Grant. Will come to you for your verbal answer. Say what? You're thinking, sell it. Good, John. Bonnie Rick Rose. Bonnie Rick Rose is indeed the character. Oh, I think we did that. That was a great way to do that. I'll show you about the result. There we go. One now. Thank God. OK. Question number three. John McLean's first ever Falkirk Scottish Cup tie

was in a way win over which team? So John McLean's first ever Falkirk Scottish Cup tie was in a way win over which team? And it was a rousing victory. Awesome. That's a shocking question. So John McLean's first ever Falkirk Scottish Cup tie was in a way win over which team? And it was a pretty emphatic one. That was semi-final run. It was. So what was the first Cup tie in the semi-final run against Inverness? Oh, it would have been that. Ah. Not that one. It was a way to. It was a way. But it has to rushes. John, have you got something written down?

It's a yeah, I'm just. Right, you're writing something down. I've written down, but I don't think it's right. But I know I'm in the ballpark. Mr Thompson, come to you. Oh, I don't know, Hawks. I've got a heart. John, how you when we came, I'm sure, but I've written a huntly, but I wasn't there. Oh, it was. It was wet. I can't really. It was wet. I could not make the sleep and make there you go. So it's still 1-0 to Falkirk draft. OK, question before. As we've just said, we made the semi-final that season. But how many of the current squad started the match? That day against Inverness was a huge question. Was it four? So we made the semi-final that season. But how many of the current squad started the match? That day against Inverness was it three or was it four? I don't need who they were, but I need a number for them. He's both.

I've got an uncle four. I'll go three. OK, John, you're saying three. Grant, you're saying four. One of these is obviously spot on. And as John McIrally, it was three. Leon, not Brad. Not Brad. Not Brad. Brad don't start. Brad wasn't a Falker player at that time. No, he was. I'll be Leon then. It'll be Finn. No. No, Finn was on the bench. I see. No, this bit was on the bench. Think centre halves. Oh, I gave it a call. Call. Call of Hendo. Hendo. Call of Hendo and Leon. Yes, but it was on the bench. Finn Yeats was on the bench. Gary Oliver was on the bench. There was a number. Ben or Brad wasn't a Falker player. So that is the, the, the, the, the, John, you will have won today. But let's go to question number five. See if he's got it. So in the 2013 semi against Hibbs, who scored all of three,

who scored all three of Falker's goals? So in this 2013 semi against Hibbs, who scored the three Falker goals? 2013 against Hibbs. Say, finally, yes. It was like Taylor. Yeah. Yeah. Nope. Nope. Not like Taylor, not. We've got B4C. We've got B4C. When we've got B4C, like Taylor, Mr. That's right. That's right. That's right. That's right. Andy Boyen, if any guesses from you, him, remember? Not. Not clear. No, not sure. It was Craig Sibbold, J. Fulton and Brian Eckbrown, Blair Austin. All right, yeah. That was a three bit. John, we're very well done. Play the station. Fabios, Dan, you're well done. I hope there we go. Thanks very much. Thanks for coming on. It's ever grand. Hopefully we've boosted your showroom with your showcase. And if you want a higher grant as an actor, you know, he's always there for you for all your needs, acting needs.

Yep. Sorry. Being sent a clause, I don't move these anything. I'm not too fast. I don't move these. I don't move these. Excellent. There you go. I'm available for those as well. By the way, I'm not even out. I can just had a massive picture of it by it. LAUGHTER Bro, thank you for coming on. Fulton, thank you for having me. Cheers, guys. This is Fulton, Daffed. With behind the wall. And the Fulton, Fulton fans, in training. Right, well, that's it. For all of this week's Fulton, Daffed in, but before we go, I say thank you very much to the Fulton football fans of training. Tates down at the stadium every Wednesday, 8.30 to 9.30. If you look at help your mental health, get a bit of fitness, get involved with the guys. They're down there every 8.30 to 9.30. They've got their over 50 section now, as well as their elite academy and legend sections. So get down, have a kick about help your mental health, lose some way, and get in touch with Ian or Willie. The details are below. But you have to be over 48.

And no exports, thank you very much. Imagine if you turned up in as an expo there. A lot of the expos now play like over 35s. I've seen a lot of expos like Kenny Ducca was playing over 35s, and my mates have played over 35s and turned up and there's been like, all these amazing players playing, and there's like, shit. But there you go. Imagine if you ride up, imagine like Kevin Drinkle just rocks up. I know, I know. I don't know. I mean, there'd be mental in it. What a random name they pull out of the thin air. They're lost in there. His name came up on Friday night, because... It's going to be an awesome name, isn't it? It's kind of an awesome name, yeah, yeah. So I hope we speak to Kevin a wee while, but there you go. Foggan football fans, entry in every way is the eight out of ten, they're getting touch, the links are below. And that is it for this week's Foggan Dath. Thank you very much for watching. Thank you very much for listening. Gets where you get podcasts. Remember, date for the diary, Foggan Dath Live, mate 15th, don't go and see the complete Stone Aussies, come and see us instead. Get that, get in the diary, tickets will go on sale soon. Still try to work out who we want to get guest wise, hoping to get one of the current squads down.

That'd be really, really nice to get one of the current members to the squad. And then obviously a former player, it is well, former, a couple of former players. We will see who we can muster up for the night. Maybe we should ask Scott Arfield. So if we're people that missed out on the Arfield night, maybe we might... Well, yeah, well, mate is well asked the question. Where mate is well? I can only say no. It can only. It can only say no. So, well, you know what, bugger it. I'll ask Scott Arfield to see if he'll do it, because he did have a favour. He can do as a favour, couldn't he? Wait, that's nice. Fuck it, well asked Scott Arfield. So, we'll confirm that near other time, but yeah, keep it up to get that date in your diary. Is there any other business that we need to talk about before we go and watch who we're going to end up in the final, sorry, semi-final against some getting beyond myself? No, I don't think so, mate. I think we've covered everything off. Always good to talk through. And yeah, let's see what the drawing is today. I've got something, actually. I've got something, I can remember it. I met him. I was on the train. I was going to a gig on Wednesday, right? And I was sitting on the train

and a guy sat beside me, I went, I know you. And it was the lead singer of Brogol, Aiden, now. Wow. We're now going to have a bit of music on this, because Aiden said to me, now I'll be honest with you, the boys are all Falkert supporters, right? Sorry, Celtic supporters that were playing Brogol, right? But they've got a song called The Roving Falkert Bear, right? Now, I'm going to let you hear this, because I think, and I want to get your opinion out there, I think this should be used pretty much for when either the teams come out or post-match, because the lyrics in it are very Falkert, right? And Aiden, I think, actually, he said, because we were sitting gas in a way and he said, what'd you do that Falkert podcast, I said, I, I said, you should definitely try and get the club to get the song played. Now, I'm going to play it for you and our new feature, Musical Corner. And this is a great way to play out the podcast,

that's a brilliant idea. Right, so here is The Roving Falkert Bear, right? Let us know what you think about it. I'll play it to you here, because Ross, I don't know if you've heard this song, have you? I have, yes, I've heard it before. I kind of said this before, but shout out to Adam who watches the podcast, he lives in Swindon, and he's, he's a genius. Ah, that's right, I put him on to it. I put your power, I mean, right, so. This is The Roving Falkert Bear on Falkert, that. I'm a Roving Falkert Bear, you need not know my name. I've traveled all around the world, but no arm can I claim. Of all the places I have been, there's not I would compare. With dear, old Karen, water's side,

I'm my friends and loved ones there. I've sailed across the Hudson wide, the Thames, the Sandrine, and though they are all wonderful, there's no night is so fine. I's the beautiful Karen, water that flows so well and free. From folk art to Grinchmouth town, and beyond to the Nazi. Here we go, there we go, hop, hop, hop, hop, here we go. When I am done, we rumble and never move to Rome. I'll settle by Karen, water's side, and then I'll build my home. I'll tell my songs and stories there, and view the golden veil.

I'll happily live out my days, where nature's always prevail. If you live, I'll live. I'll live. I'll live this, I'll live. Oh, I have my own home, and for God's sake, you'll need not know my name, I traveled all around the world for no hope, can I go in? Of all the places I have been, as my life would compare, we deal, I'll come and walk, I'll say it, I've been friends, I'll love once a day. There we go!

Sit there, absolutely. I think that's a built-up, I do think all the titles of the song, all the places name-checking the tune. If you're going to, actually, they're first on the stage at Transmit, this summer as well, so they're on point Transmit and I think they're playing on the main stage at Transmit as well. Falkert Band, I know the most of them, I think one of them is a focus support, or I think the bass is the bass that's a focus support, but the rest of them are self-tape boys, I know it's in Nungos. And to know what, I think, perfect, and would check them out, that's not a hot music tip, there's Brogol, they've got some brilliant songs, it's all but the tune, they sing all but in the songs, on the songs, the mention of Beat Sheep Gets, mention, Vickers Street Days, it's the Brogol Band, I can't really read a bit of them, I can't say if Bob didn't aid them on the train, we'll be back from Glasgow.

I think that's a great show, John, I really do it, and it's pumping it builds and builds, and then you get it to the chorus. So there you go Dave McRae, the Falkert Band, any of the Falkert commercial staff, or anyone listening, it doesn't have to mean anything. We're all in Falkert Band, we're putting that ahead, let us know what you think and hopefully get that play with the stadium, because it would be good. I think it builds and builds and builds and it just higher at the end of the game when we're won, or we're the two before the teams come out, everything it was in great. But there you go, musical corner, a first and Falkert daft, if you want to highlight any music, get in touch with us. That way. Great, listen, thank you very much for what you've said, listen in, join your Discord channel, what's chocolate on there, you can talk about Google and the Robin Falkert Band in there if you want, and that's us for a little bit this week. Thank you, we're waiting to see the draw now, we'll be back on Thursday with a preview podcast, we'll speak to it. I think I'm going to be speaking to my friend Beth, Beth Wallace, who's a regular one DJ, who will get her on to talk about Aberdeen, because she's a mad, mad daughter, and she's a...

She works with me on the radio, and she's been on radio and stuff like that. Yeah, we'll speak to Beth about Aberdeen's hope for it, and we'll have the preview podcast out on Thursday, but until that time, Ross will... Expect her, expect it, and when the bands want to list the Scottish Cup, we'll be there.
