アナタハンの女王事件とは、1945年終戦期のアナタハン島にて取り残された日本人たち。男31人女1人のアンバランスな男女比であったが、皆力を合わせて生き抜いていた。しかし米軍の残した2丁の拳銃が男たちの力関係を大きく変えることになる。欲望を捨てることのできない醜い人間の修羅場と化したアナタハン島で、戦争とは違う争奪戦が繰り広げられたのであった。
