Sarah Williams is the owner and head instructor at Empowered Defence Centre - a self-defence training studio for all ages located in Stony Plain. Sarah is a Karate Black Belt, with a degree in Kinesiology, and a retired RCMP officer with specialized training in domestic violence and trauma. Sarah believes that self-defence is an essential life skill - not only as a physical tool, but as a mindset and confidence-builder. Her mission is to bring these skills to as many people as possible, because everyone deserves to feel safe, strong, and powerful in their own lives.
